Such a nice brunch experience!
The wait was a little long but not bad. It was definitely worth the wait.
The service staff was very friendly.
There was so much on their menu that I wanted to try and will still have to try in the future. The food that I did have was very flavorful. The mimosa flight was great. I loved most of them and would order them again. They did not skimp on the champagne. The only thing I wish was if the place was bigger. Maybe at a later time

Came in a while back, just getting around to writing about it. It was a really busy when we visited, but we were seated quickly, and the staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. A wonderful restaurant with a huge meal selection! Excellent friendly service. Very clean facility. Every meal ordered was delicious and very tasty! Hard to say which is my favorite. Breakfast and lunch only tho. Ample parking. Just a great little restaurant!

If consistency was a place it would be this restaurant by far !!! Been coming here for over a year once or twice a month and I’ve ordered the same thing every time because of just how good the chilaquiles are! It beats your authentic mexican restaurants and it’ll beat your moms too hahah. In all seriousness this restaurant deserves all the praise it gets, from the service to the atmosphere this restaurant is by far the best i’ve been to in Bakersfield it simply speaks for itself !!!

This place has set a new bar and nearly knocked down every other place I've eaten at by 1 star. This is where I plan to bring family during visits. Words like outstanding, superb and excellent do not effectively describe how well I enjoyed my meal; service included. The quality of my chicken fried steak as well as my wife's Benedict was absolutely unmatched. It is obvious only fresh, quality ingredients and skilled recipes are utilized here. We absolutely look forward to returning.

This was our first visit but we plan to return again soon. There was a 45-minute wait and people were standing around outside waiting to be called in. That alone speaks to how good the food is.

We went out for coffee and returned just in time to be called in. The staff was attentive, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was both welcoming and comfortable.

The chicken fried steak was tasty and the Rose Berry Mojito was especially tasty.

My husband really enjoyed his latte and chicken sandwich, while my friend loved her Nashville chicken skillet.

It was enjoyable and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Not bad for a busy Sunday!

Came in a while back, just getting around to writing about it. It was a really busy when we visited, but we were seated quickly, and the staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Our food came out in a timely manner, and tasted really good. Would definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

I took my wife Sunday morning, the wait wasn’t so bad 20 mins (average) we get called in then the lady said our table wasn’t , waited another 5 mins or so then another 10 mins before the waiter even walked over to our table to ask us what we wanted to drink. The food was excellent but the service completely sucked. They need to work on communication skills since we’re paying their paycheck. First time in a long time since I haven’t left a tip but he definitely didn’t deserve a tip.

First visit, I came for the Harry Potter theme! We tried all of the Harry potter drinks and they were delicious. Butterbeer soda and polyjuice potion were amazing! My daughter got the hot chocolate and said it was the best ever. The butterbeer pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever had, sooo much flavor! Our waiter was hilarious and awesome. I hope they do this every year 🪄✨️

Update- We refuse to dine here anymore. Our last dining experience had tasteless food, horrible and rude service, and long wait times. The very last time we visited we left without dining as we were seated over 20 minutes with hungry kids and nobody ever even took our drink orders- there were several empty tables and servers chatting in the back.

Food and Service was Amazing! Great for kids too. Ample portions. Large diverse menu and they made substitutions/alterations to cater to our personal tastes. Our server was Cara and though it was busy she was very attentive and made us feel like we were her only table.

They sat people ahead of us, and when they finally gave us a table, it took 25 minutes before they even approached us to take our order. It wasn't even as busy as it usually is. The service sucks. We walked out!

I think (my opinion) mexican food needs an update. American breakfast was 90% ok. we had 3 cafes we asked for sugar and we never got it. My husband had to get it from other table. The bowl of soup was hot but the chilaquiles were not.

My husband and I had the nutella pancakes and biscuits & gravy. The biscuits were huge and fluffy. The gravy was tasty and generous portion of sausage in it. We will definitely go back.

I ordered benedict eggs and they were delicious, the ones I ordered were served with carnitas and pico de gallo, ordered a mimosa and it was refreshing. Will definitely go back to try something different, everything looked so good.

Take forever to get you seated for one person to be a server. Let other people inside before you (waiting 45 minutes outside) don’t take first come first serve. They take whoever they want with zero consideration of people waiting because they are too lazy to set up reservations

After hearing all the hype about this place, i went to try it for myself and.... it's definitely breakfast! I ordered an omelet and it was very oily, the flavor was ok but forgettable. I chose to get a biscuit as well and unlike the omelet it was really good. Probably one of the best biscuits I've ever had, it was super fluffy and buttery. Atmosphere is alright, it's clean but no outdoor seating which is unfortunate. Good service too.

Ordered the chicken fried steak everyone says is amazing. Way too much breading and little bit of steak. Served cold country potatoes and they forgot my eggs. Coffee was terrible. Server was annoyed that we asked for potatoes that weren't cold and she wanted to take our full plate of food back instead of just bringing hot country potatoes. Charged extra for toast biscuits which normally come with a meal and they didn't serve us our eggs.

Waited 1.5 hours for our food and no one came to our table to give us an update or if we needed another coffee or mimosa. When “WE” asked our waitress she said there was a problem with the oil and that’s why it was taking so long. Okay that’s fine but why didn’t you let us know. When food finally came out it was disgusting. Like they rushed everything on the plate just to get it out. Last time I will ever come to this place. Also the restroom was leaking from the flush button 🤢 Get it together Toasted beginning of 2023 you guys were doing amazing now you’re falling apart!!!

Acude sin hambre, porque el tiempo de espera para ingresar, tomen tu orden y tengas los alimento en la mesa es casi eterno, mis hijos ya desesperados, nos salvó la vida éste señor muy amable, puso a mis hijas a jugar gato con unos popotes y crema para el café y al bebé lo distrajo haciendo torres!🫶 gracias gracias gracias 🫂. Buen sazón, las porciones son enormes, la atención regular, por ejemplo nunca volvió la mesera para ofrecer más café o checar si necesitas algo. Ojo con la limpieza en los baños, el agua del inodoro se salía de la base 😓.

If you want the best chicken fried steak and eggs in Bakersfield, this is a must. I've tried a number of the well known places in Bakersfield, and it is not even close. They have the best breading, and the gravy is magnificent. The hash were cooked perfectly, and the eggs were just right.

Our server was nice and professional even though they were busy. She managed a number of tables, and we were able to visit without being required to remind her about refills or items we requested.

The items we ordered were price right. The restaurant environment is busy, but it is a family-friendly establishment where you can take your family and even enjoy an adult beverage if you decide to partake.

This was my first visit, but the service warranted a review. I'll visit the location again and adjust or reaffirm the above comments if needed.

Came in for breakfast at 830 on Sunday.whe. we arrived when the place was not busy. We ordered our food and literally never heard from our server again. To be fair he did pour water when we were seated. I had to stop him twice to request a refill and to order to go food.

Now on To the food. My wife liked her oh diang meal. The chicken was cooked well but lacked seasoning my chicken fried steak was not good at all.
The outer shell was doughy and soggy. It tasted undercooked the steak itself was not seasoned at all. Homestyke potatoes had no seasoning anywhere to be foundw.

When we finally got him to check in to give us our bill he said he had "full tables" i guess that was to justify the terrible service.

Won't go back wont recommend

Place was full so I'm sure they won't miss our business.

The servers were sweet. I ordered a papasito Benedict and the bread was old/stale. My eggs weren’t poached, my hash browns didn’t have much flavor and neither did the guac. Leaving a review so they can make improvements :) my mazapán coffee was good, a little huge, but delish

The Restaurant is awesome, great food, just needs to more sauces.

I was shocked when they had no honey mustard and BBQ sauce.

I wanted a booth, they were going to seat us at a table anyways and we got a half booth plus we thought going during the week it would less crowd but nope.

Just letting know, the place is the best to eat and we'll be back again.

1015am on a Saturday. Great vibes but only one server we could see. She went to all the tables around us and checked on them, gave waters to people that were sat after us, but never came by our table. After about 15 minutes we left.

I Did order a meal without ham but he forgot to take out the ham, but it was good so I left it at that. He was friendly and food was bomb!!!! Cappuccino extremely delicious 😋 mimosas was delicious as well. We will definitely come back.

If I can give them a zero I would, two people came after us and the employees went to them and kept us waiting for nothing in say ten minutes. We never got our food or drinks, don't go we're unless you want to wait for thirty minutes.

Mediterranean style avocado toast on a thick baguette. It seems like the combinations would be weird, but the flavor contrast and portion size is perfect for a light breakfast. I will always recommend this place to friends, especially after a long night out.

Really good food for a good price, the service is great I went for breakfast and and it was delicious I'll have to try there lunch next time, also good variety on coffee flavors don't reccomend for big groups but good for small groups due to tje place isn't that big but other than that I highly reccomend for anyone to give them a try you won't regret it 😊

While being a relatively new addition to Southwest Bakersfield's eatery scene, Toasted has already garnered a loyal following! I enjoyed their Chili Verde breakfast plate with avocado, tortillas, and fruit; hash browns or country fries are an option.

Presently (July 2023), they're featuring Hogwarts-inspired menu items 😋. See the Unicorn Blood 😬 peeking out at the top of the picture.

The service was excellent, attentive, engaging, and friendly. Say "hey" to Theresa and Caesar if you're fortunate enough to be served by them 😃.

The atmosphere was amazing. They sat my family of six right away but that was of course before the Father's Day breakfast crowd came. I'm giving it 4 stars because they took a long time to bring out our food. The food was hot and it was good I just didn't understand why they took so long to bring out our food since it wasn't busy. We seen our waitress all about three times maybe while we were there for a period of an hour and 45 minutes maybe 2 hours. I'm not sure if this was due to it being Father's Day or if this is how it is on a regular day but overall the experience and the food was great.

Great breakfast spot..would have given all 5 star but the cooks 3-3 shorted me gravy on the biscuits and gravy..2 biscuits and only enough gravy for one, even when I order extra I'm shorted..resulting in having to drive all the way back for more gravy all 3 times.. Mgr very accommodating and fixes it when I come, but still a pain to drive back then it's cold.....Will I go back,?? YES..ITS GOOD FOOD.. lol

My french toast tasted and looked like it was dipped in water. Very wet & soggy and not flavorful. I’m not picky and I couldn’t eat this. My potatoes and bacon were great, but for the price I expected the main entree to be decent enough to eat. :( My food was still very hot when I began eating it so it wasn’t a takeout/freshness issue. I also requested condiments and received none.

The wait is way too long. We arrived at 10:15 am, got seated around 10:40 over an hour later did we get our food. Was it worth the wait? No! Food was ok, lacks flavor and service was ok, overall not worth it.

Great first visit! Excellent food. Ordered a "Karen" omelette (never thought I'd do that) with home fries and biscuit. Menu has a good selection. My server, Jennifer, and the hostesses were great. Will be back with my family in tow.

I have been twice- both times the food was so good! In reality, one dish could probably feed two or three people (unless they are big eaters). I got the breakfast totchos and they were so good- they make me want to go back again! Only thing, it takes a while to get your food but it's worth the wait in my opinion!

Took 40 minutes to get our food to us even though the restaurant was half empty (2 adult meals, side of fruit for baby). French toast was soggy. Bacon was burned. People after us got their food before or served at the same time as we did. They offered us to go drinks for our trouble but we were already running late and couldn't wait longer for them. Give yourself plenty of time if you want to try this place out apparently..

Went here on a Date not knowing what to expect.
Great place for breakfast.
I tried the Country Fried Steak with Country style potatoes and sunny side up eggs.

Great portions.

My Date had the Chilaquiles for Breakfast.
The green sauce was delicious. Enjoy Sharing of each other’s plates.

To top it off the Mimosas are amazing
great personalized menu to choose from.

Drinks I recommend ordering the flight of mimosas one of each flavor.

The Mexican Candy was Amazing. Definitely will try to return to this spot soon and try more great food and the MIMOSASSS.

Definitely earn my business in the near future.
I highly recommend anyone to try this place if your in the area. You won’t regret it.

I had the pleasure of visiting this established while in California from Georgia. I heard that the lines are usually long but I guess I came at a great time. No wait at 9am. The greeter was great but our server Ceasar was the ultimate best! Greeted us with a smile and was very patient with our orders due to it being our first time. The food was very very good and our flight topped everything off. The flight is 4 tasty mimosas on a rack. I will definitely make this a priority stop when I visit California again. Thank you.

Was very disappointed in the food and service as our food was cold and some of the drinks we ordered never came we seen plenty of other drinks waiting on the counter to be taken out as well had high expectations as images online looked good but was not what we seen in person and is not worth another try as we drove across town to try.

Disappointed... waited hour and a half to be seated and food to come out. We ordered the Belgian waffle with the chicken strip, eggs and country potatoes. The waffle was amazing, the eggs and potatoes were ok. But that piece of chicken was the blandest tasteless thing I ever had, like I was eating boiled chicken with some crunchy breading, very disappointing... then our waitress Yvette was not very friendly. Flicked out receipt in the middle of the table.

Excellent service. The food was very good. My husband had a spicy type of eggs Benedict with. He said it was spicy, which for him was genuine. I had a Cubano sandwich. It was excellent.

First time did not disappoint. I had the abulita mocha coffee drink and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Then eggs Benedict on a biscuit with a bowl of fruit. Great service. We will be back.

I tried this place because my co-worker recommended it as well as I've heard the omelette's are Awesome. Both correct. I had "The Meaty" omelette is fantastic and the house made biscuit was really good too.

La comida no estuvo mal el servicio es muy tardado pedí un champurrado que mas bien era café con crema .pedí chilaquiles y me dijeron que no tenían tortilla para cosinarlos.entonces pedí huevos rancheros y que tampoco me los podían hacer. Todo carisimo por 3 platos fueron 70.00 pedí cajas para llevar y tampoco tenían hasi que el servicio no estuvo nada bueno. Esperamos como 25 minutos para que nos atendieran y dieran la comida.

Food was good. I ordered the breakfast tacos and they were very good, also had the champurrado latte which was good, but too sweet.

Terrible experience! Wouldn’t ever walk into that place. Never got the server too take our order. Or to take our drinks order. Just walked out do to the lack of service .

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Our waitress took care of us. My coffee never empty and got water before we asked. The food was really good and big portions as well. We will come back with the rest of our family members for sure. Thanks for the great experience all around

Very good food all around. Had the iced abuelita latte and the kraken burger. The latte had a very good chocolate cinnamon sort of flavor and the kraken burger didn't disappoint. I would be coming back more often with my friends and family.

Food was great. Pancakes were huge and perfect. Chilaquiles red were amazing. Coffee drinks were not hot also not the best . Overall really liked the place and will be returning.

My husband and I came here for the first time for my 21st birthday breakfast!
Their menu has lots of great stuff, we had a hard time picking what we wanted, our server was THE BEST. Our food came out very quick and was delicious and the mimosas were so good :)
SHOUTOUT TO MARIYAH, she definitely helped start my birthday off great and I had a great time, will definitely be back :)

We walked in a Saturday morning around 10am/11am and got sit right away. The food was delicious! A lot of flavor. The service was good too. I will say, the drinks were a bit too strong for my liking, but other than that- definitely a place I would go back to.

Today My friends and I decided to go and celebrate my birthday there for brunch. Our experience there today was completely unacceptable due to our waitress YVETTE was so rude she ruined my birthday brunch and she straight up tried to tip herself off of my friend who paid my part for my birthday. The messed up thing is she was rude to us the whole time she would roll her eyes when my friends ordered, not bringing either one of my friends water when they repeatedly asked(she eventually brought one water). We were still nice to her the whole time because we didn't want to ruin our own time there. What makes me sick tho is my friend always tips and tips good she would have left more than what her expected change was but the waitress took it upon herself to just keep the money when she knows she didn't deserve it. She just left us sitting there while she chatted up with her coworkers until my friend had to ask for her change and that was a whole situation in itself because after she gave my friend her incorrect change she stood there waiting for a tip when she had already got one from my other friend. It was a mess and when I was walking out another of her coworkers kept asking if I forgot something indicating a tip! If the owner is reading this watch the cameras you can clearly see me going back to the table because I thought he was saying I forgot my phone or something and I went to look and said no I didn't forget anything while going back out he said again are you sure?? in a condescending attitude. I felt bad for both of my friends who endure that behavior to not ruin my birthday brunch but I want to make it very clear this is not acceptable.

Have been here several times since it opened because it is very near my home. In the beginning everything was great: service, food, wait time. However quality has definitely deteriorated since their opening. Today has been the worst ever. I’m not going to mention every detail about what happened today or other days. But the cherry on top of an irritating visit here was when the girl who usually seats us was our waitress. We were being friendly and respectful as I’ve worked in customer service before and know how it is. This girl NEVER smiles even when people go out of their way to be nice to her she always has a straight face, no personality and thats fine but if you hate working there find another job. Today she walked away from me as I was still ordering, and still forgot to bring me a water until I reminded her again and then she took like 10 min to bring it. My friend never got the water she asked for. She was rushing us but couldn’t even keep up with herself. I then gave her cash to pay for my food and she never brought me my change. I waited like 20 min and when I saw she was just sitting down Chit chatting with her coworkers I reminded her about my change. It wasn’t much change just a few bucks which I would have just told her to keep but when she brought me the change (which was still incorrect) She then asked in an aggressive tone “AnYtHiNg ElSe?” And I wanted to say “yeah the correct change” but I was so over it I just walked out. So irritated with them right now especially because the owner was sitting right there and didn’t say anything.
