First time here and would come back. Heard about here on LA Unscripted and decided to check it out. Pleasantly surprised! Walked in to a full bar and loud music. Brian greeted us right away and said we could grab a seat anywhere. We sat at the end of the bar and were given menus. Had a couple margaritas and a beer. Happy Hour food was tasty and decent price. Jacquie came on and took over and was very friendly. Probably a good spot to watch sports but would need to grab a seat in front of Tvs. Thank you Brian and Jacquie,, hopefully you are there when I go back.

All I can say is amazing. Wow this place is truly a hidden gem. I have tried basically most things on their menu and have not had anything that wasn't insanely tasty and delicious. I love the food here, I love the drinks here and I love the vibes here. There's a good DJ every time I've been here. BRIAN is the real MVP here, he's an amazing bartender and he guides me through the entire menu carefully describing and recommending me what I crave after a night of partying and drinking. I have to thank him because he always convinces me to try out the menu here and man it's so tasty, food here is insane. Thank you Cosecha and thank Brian, best bar around‼️

First time here. Nice spot. They have a few tvs for a sporting event but sometimes a few of them will be showing bad bunny music videos. Random note, they don't have something as simple as asada tacos lol but the food is still really good

OMG this place is amazing. Literally everything that comes out looks like a masterpiece. The flavors are out of this world. But if I'm being honest the customer service was on point. These people really appreciate your business and do above and beyond to make sure your happy before leaving. Definitely putting this on my list of places to return soon

I ordered the Mamasita drink and it was horrible. It tasted like burnt plastic.( Had other people taste it to make sure it tasted bad) They kindly replaced my drink which was the coconut drink and it wasn’t mixed correctly. You can tell they use a powder which was floating everywhere. Couldn’t finish. Wasn’t that good either. They need to invest in a trained bartender
And just to get refills we had to basically stand up to get their attention because when they dropped anything at our table they’d leave immediately without hearing us asking for refills.

We order food which took long as well. We tried ordering burritos and server said they’re only serving brunch. When I went to the restroom I see other tables with burritos. Not sure why we weren’t able to order that same food item.
They also messed up while taking our order and had to keep telling the server it was wrong. When we received our food it was still wrong. They fixed it which was appreciated but it took so long that he finished his main meal.
After this experience we won’t be coming back. I paid almost $200 for a bad experience and bland food. Honestly wasn’t worth it.
Just take your family somewhere where they’ll enjoy the visit.

A very good service (Thanks Marco for taking care of my group today) with an amazing assortment of food and drinks menu. The food tasted better and worth the money we paid. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Baldwin park vicinity. Don’t forget to order dessert as they have affiliations to the la michoacana nearby and you get yo taste two great places at once.

A great place to eat Mexican food. If you do not mind loud music, this is the right place for you. Authentic dishes that taste great and come at a reasonable price. The staff is super courteous and the bathrooms are clean. Recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Found this amazing Mexican restaurant that gives a Cancun type of feel. I literally could have just eaten the complimentary chips and salsas because they were so good! Many choices on the menu and good alcohol selection. Prices were fair and service was great. Definitely recommend!

The food is 🔥. Customer service horrible. Reserved a table for 11 for my bday dinner. When I showed up with my party the gentle man working the floor says to me sorry we over booked and I only have a table that seats 5 ppl . They never gave me a solution so the cramped us up in a table for 5 . Food orders came out wrong and when some of my guest finished eating, me the bday girl got my order last so at that point I just asked for a to go box . When paying for the bill I had clearly told the waiter we are all splitting the bill . Sure enough when we get up to pay they said unfortunately we can’t split the tabs 🤯 long story short my bday dinner was a disaster. Manager didn’t even bother to make it right.

Mi primera vez en este lugar, reunión de amigas el restaurante muy bonito y agradable la atención decente, esperamos casi media hora en la puerta para tener una mesa aunque habían mesas disponibles, cuando ordene mi comida, se equivocaron en mi orden pedí huevos over medium y me llevaron scramble, le dije al mesero y dijo que lo arreglaría y finalmente mis huevos fritos llegaron… no terminó medio.. mas bien quemados y al final ordené un ceviche para llevar, pregunte si estaba picante y me dijeron que no.! Pues yo pregunté si podían poner un poco de picante y la sorpresa cuando llegue y empezamos a comer era imposible comerlo tenía demasiado picante no picaba quemaba… y tenía habaneros picados, el sabor estaba muy bueno pero era una locura de picante y honestamente lamento haber pagado $25 dólares solo por el ceviche q al final tuvimos que tirar a la basura porque no lo pudimos comer, lastima el lugar está hermoso pero no fue una buena experiencia, estaba de vacaciones en California y quería disfrutar con mis amigas, pero quedé no muy satisfecha como clienta especialmente porque trabajo en la industria de los restaurantes, ojalá puedan mejorar. I went the night a street fair was going on in Baldwin park on the street the restaurant is on so needless to say it was busy. I had seen it on channel 5 and liked the presentation of the food and the decor and vibe of the restaurant. From the minute we walked in I felt at home and even thou it was busy the hostess approached us rught away and advised of the half hour wait. She sked for our number so she could call us. They have a bar area but it was full and they have a patio area too. There was a group of young men playing corrido music live and they sounded excellent. We left to a local market and returned after the call. We were seated immediately at a nice table booth and they had a nice drink menu and I chose the Costa Azul I believe jt was called. I saw wonderful food coming out of the kitchen and the band continued playing music the e tire time we were there as there were birthday party's there too. I also saw the owner and he was having fun too enjoying drinks with what appeared to be his brothers. Our mocajate was enough for two and was delicious. I enjoyed the fact that the vibe was homy and everyone was having a great time. They had a guest singer and at times the owner had them go to certain tables and for a long period of time they were near our table. In Spanish I conganulated the owner on his establishment and told him I had seen it on the news and by coincidence we happened to be at the market which was right next to it so I'm glad we decided to come in. I ALSO told him that I loved that I felt like I was in Mexico and felt at home there. We shook hands and he bowed with
hands together as a form of Thank you for my comments. The molcajete was priced well, but for 4 drinks we had it was 72 dollars so be prepared if u like to drink that your bill will be a decent price. LOVED THIS PLACE AND WILL GO BACK.

Today, Father's Day 2024, the second time here this year, and honestly left very disappointed (compared to my first visit) in the service. A manager or owner, not sure, seated us and took our order, but not once did anyone come and check in on us during our dining. I had to ask for refills myself and remind someone to please bring us creamer on more than one occasion. I asked for the check, and no one came back for over 10 minutes. 2 parties who arrived after us left after the were done, which is when I asked for it again and finally paid but was very loud about how ridiculous the service lacked and the same lady who seated us came back with the receipt for me to sign and tried sweeping this under with free churros. Are you serious? What would have actually made this right was to at least comp drinks or at least one free entrée. But no, instead, they thought free churros is the way to make a lack of service, right?! If I could give fewer stars, I would. Also, I had to request my copy of the proof of purchase? I felt bad not tipping (as l lived off tips for years myself), but for the first time, I was forced to leave nothing. As a side note, I could have walked out without paying, and they wouldn't have noticed, that's telling of how horrible the service was.

The service was the worst. For food you had to wait time to receive it. No table had a server. When my family and I were ready to leave they took almost half an hour just to take the check and to say sry the tried to give something free that wasn't worth the wait.

You have to fit the certain criteria of people for them to even acknowledge you. You have to be the loud and obnoxious party of people that will get drunk and spend lots of money on drinks. If you bring a nice simple family, they will not seat you, not care for you, and not even turn down the ear piercing loud music… even just a little. One of the lady servers just simply told us “no.” She didn’t even say sorry or tried to accommodate her to a table that’s not directly in front of the speaker. So after waiting for 15 minutes (actually timed) we got up and left. They didn’t even ask what the issue was or anything. They let us leave.

Very disappointed with the service here. The food was actually pretty good except for the childrens quesadilla that took almost 50 minutes to come out and came out 20 minutes after the adults food. The cheese wasn't even melted in the quesadilla. Portions are not equal me and my wife got the same plate but she got a smaller portion. The drink I got was very watered down but the taste was alright. Only got checked on 2 times in the hour and a half we where there. Had to remind the staff 3 times and toom 30 minutes to get a high chair. Really sucks that our experience was lack luster because the food had very good and unique flavor.

Very poor customer service. We reserved a table for 8, and we were four waiting, and the other four were looking for parking space. The host asked us to wait outside. I asked my mother in law who is 82 years old, to be inside because of the sun and heat, but the host denied it. They gave our reservation to another family and made us wait even more. Finally, we took off, and we ended in Kalaberas.

meh service. Had marayah as my server. Been here 3 times, never had to pay gratuity.. And I tipped 20% bc I wasn’t forced to. This time they decided I was young and dumb Or not going to tip them or something, because they all of a sudden said I had to pay an added 18% gratuity - and when confronted, the server said her manager was doing it for some fight night that I wasn’t even aware of. No menus say gratuity added either. It feels like they made that up for me only.

Although the restaurant is titled as a "Bistro", the food and atmosphere feels like a club or bar with a live DJ. Food was mediocre and was served cold. When asked to reheat, only the rice was heated and enchiladas were blocks of cheese. Additionally, smoking is allowed in the patio, which may be a problem to some customers.

This isn’t a real review because I couldn’t get in the front door. What I thought was the Laker game on the tv, turned out to be a Spanish music video. I couldn’t get past the front doors because the bass was pumping so loud, I don’t make it in. Clearly the music isn’t for me. However, can’t you just sit and eat without a club between your ears? I left and don’t walk in.

Very disappointing, had been looking forward to coming here from all the great reviews and from people’s recommendations but I I’ve never had such experience as we did. We were greeted nicely and sat down as usual even accommodated since I had my baby and a stroller. Also that literally waitress walking around us assisting everyone else serving and checking out people and thet simply did not acknowledge us not even ask for our drink order. Yet they sat down a party of 5 right next to us and right away took their order. We had been waiting patiently for about 20 minutes we just decided to leave since they kept ignoring us. Even as we walked they looked at us and did not bother to ask if there was an issue. Won’t be going back or even bothering to recommend to others will actually be telling them not to go unless they want to be ignored

I forgot to take a picture but the food was delicious. I ordered the quesabirria tacos (comes with 3 & the meat juice) and a jamaica and they both were good. The agua frescas come in the big margarita schooner glasses. Not sure if they have free refills but I don't think so. I liked my tacos crunchy so I asked for them well. The chips were crunchy and not stale, the guac taste fresh. The waiter was attentive and checked on us a few times. Overall it was a good experience.

The food was decent. The chips, salsa, drinks and guacamole were the best things I tasted here. It was not extremely busy, there were about 4 tables of guests. Our table was the biggest. Our waitress was not accommodating. She never really checked on us. She brought everyone’s food out about 15 minutes apart (party of 9, 2 at a time) this could’ve been a problem in the kitchen and not necessarily on the waitress. Waitress kept saying that there were no refills. She got her job done but you can tell that she doesn’t enjoy it. We always pay extra for service and typically go over gratuity. In this case we did not. Overall wouldn’t recommend dining here. Maybe just drinks at the bar.

Our friends brought my husband and I to celebrate my birthday on 12/16/23 and the food and service were really good. We close the tab and reopen another tab that's how good the drinks/food and service were, we practically stayed until almost closing time :)

This place is short staffed. A lot of people didn’t have reservations and all the waitresses didn’t know what to do with them. They’re own waitress told us their servers and cooks are slow. There’s a waitress that got rid of 5 families since they did not have a reservation and didn’t give them the options to wait she said they would not get served until ALL reservations are dealt with first. Very unprofessional. Vaca Brunch & Beyond is definitely recommend and right around the corner.

I've been here 3 separate times, twice with my bf and once by myself, so it's enough to have a good idea of this place. Each time I came, I ordered something different. I'm giving this place a low rating for two reasons.
The first is that the food is okay compared to the many other mexican restaurants in the area. The first time I went was a few weeks after they opened. I got the Pozole Verde and it smelled gross, it basically smelled like they don't clean their chicken before cooking it. With the pozole I got an appetizer that I think they don't offer anymore. It was thick sliced pieces of cheese in pesto sauce and a few other things. Basically, that dish was okay, nothing special. Just from this alone I didn't want to come back but I thought I was being too picky since it had good ratings. The next time I went, in 2022, I got the Enchilada Flight which was a bit dry and they put a minimal amount of sauce on the enchiladas and the tortillas didn't seem to be heated well either. With the enchiladas I got the Cazuelita de Queso Fondido which was actually good, only issue with that was you need to eat it fast before it gets cold since it doesn't taste good anymore. What finally made me decide to not come here anymore was the House Pasta I had this year. It was disgusting, too much cheese that over powered the poblano sauce, unbalanced ratio of meat to pasta, and it was too salty. This time instead of an appetizer I got a dessert which was basically churros with icecream. That dish was pretty good, you honestly can't go wrong with that combo. For drinks I only got horchata and agua fresca de piña (which was sent to another table and by the time the waitress came to our table I was already eating, but I don't blame her because she was super busy).
The second reason for such a low rating is due to the prices! Holy hell who wants to pay so much money for mediocre food. Like why would I pay 100+ dollars for a steak when the rest of the food isn't even that good.
The atmosphere is cool, music is good, except when they consistently change it in the middle of a song. Just get youtube premium and make a pre-selected playlist! It's not that hard. But even with a nice atmosphere, it isn't worth it if you can't enjoy the food.
Overall, if you like wasting money on OK food then, sure, this is a place you can do that at. But if you want food worth spending money on, then the new mexican restaurant with the pig logo by Morgan Park is great, or the Argentinian restaurant by the West Co. mall is amazing!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Came from Buena Park to check this place out and regret every penny. They said they had bottomless mimosas 60 min limit which was fine when me and my family got there the lady had a horrible presence and was telling me how to drink my drink and it drink it too fast because they didn’t want to “lose money” they didn’t say that on the phone. Overall not a good experience and will not be coming back. Never do reviews so that tells you a lot. Save your money don’t come to this location

First of all it’s overpriced & the food isn’t worth the price. I purchased the sushi Crunch rolls and they were gross , the rice was pretty dry / hard and there was a lot of huge pieces of cucumber that tasted old. (I should have known since it’s not a sushi spot ) I also got the guacamole and it wasn’t worth it either they gave me a small portion for the price that it was. I will not return to this place. . Very disappointed! Save your self the time and the money. .

The food was delicious. The service was great and so was the atmosphere. Highly recommend even to reserve for events.

This is a diamond in the rough, from the outside looks like a repainted pizza Hutt, but it was some of the best tasting food I've had . There are plenty of options from steak to tacos to even sushi and pasta. The guacamole was great an included some hot salsa an even thai chilly oil to send it higher. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't have a liquor license. When you first walk in it feels like a bar but is limited to wine based tequilas. But if your just looking for quality food with actual taste and heat your in fir a treat.

Came here for Cinco de Mayo for lunch and loved this place! The drinks and service were amazing and Marco took great care of us! I highly recommend the Cosecha Burrito, guacamole, and margarita flight.

The food and drinks in this place are soooo good! Clean, Excellent service, quality of food and presentation were all on point. Came for lunch and I was not dissappointed... I order a green pasta with shrimp and chicken and can't wait to go back for it again...

I got the pasta...it was very salty. Also got the chicken nachos as an appetizer...chicken was super salty as well. The horchata is delicious on the other hand..friendly customer service and good atmosphere.

Came here because we heard it was better than Kalaveras. Made a reservation and when I walked in, the guy at the bar and seated me within 5 minutes. We were not offered complimentary chips and salsa like pretty much every other Mexican restaurant does. We didn’t even get utensils or water. The waiter stated that they no longer offer that, disappointing as I had to pay $14 for chips and salsa w/ guac. For food we ordered the Campesinos and the Crispy Shrimp Tacos. The Campesinos was pretty dry and definitely needed the guac and salsa. The shrimp tacos were okay, I asked for the sauce to be on the side, but they still put it inside. The drinks were good and more on the sweet side. One was watermelon and the other had jalapeño, I don’t remember the names. This whole meal was about $100. Might try this place one more time, but with this experience I feel it is not better than Kalaveras.

No chips and salsa offered, no breakfast available from this Mexican restaurant except for a couple hours saturday sunday only, lady working there treats employees and customers disrespectful, food is not good at all especially for the prices, be cautious with their food I got food poisoning after eating there, food takes +40 min to get to your table even if restaurant is empty.

SO DECIDED TO TRY OUT TODAY WITH A FRIEND WE WERE LOOKING SOMEWHERE WITH BAR FOR LUNCH TRYING TO WATCH CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GAME TO OUR SUPRISE THEY DIDNT WANT TO PUT THE GAME ON BECAUSE THEY WERE WATCHING YOUTUBE VIDEOS SO ENDED UP EATING AT VIA MAR PERFECT SERVICE AND PUT THE GAME ON THE TV WITH NO PROBLEMS.

Read some reviews on this spot so we decided to give it a try. The Margarita flight was exceptional, I personally loved the Frida cocktail ( not included in the flight, made w/rum flavored wine). The birria was authentic and the campesinos were delicious. Luis our bartender was the best and Manuel was accommodating all of our requests. Can’t wait to return here, definitely recommend this gem.

The food was incredible. I had a fancy burrito that had a jalapeno popper inside of it. Everyone's meal was fantastic. We also had the pork belly appetizer. So yummy
The music was so incredibly loud that we couldn't have conversations at our table. It's loud like a club. But there's no dance floor. So loud!
The waitress was kind and friendly. However, it took a very long time to get drinks when we would order them.
All in all, I would go back. And I do recommend. The food was just so stellar!

Agua chiles need more spice but taste good, complaining about coctel camarón too much salsa inglesa can’t even enjoy the cocktail shrimp 🦐 also I was serve last my suchi roll with to much sauce over powering the dish didn’t enjoy sushi and cocktail not good and horchata Extremely sweet….. Hope they do better!

The bone marrow sopes are excellent. The Carne Asada parrilla was great; good go 2-3 people. The drinks were okay. The Lengua Skillet was very tasty, the green sauce was very good

Ordered their nachos for takeout and the meat was overcooked, burned, and dry. Literally taste like they gave us left over meat from the night before or from their brunch that they just reheated.

Always try before you go based on other's reviews. That's what we do, and how we get to give our honest opinion. This place is good not great, the food is over priced for the servings portions. The drinks? they say they don't have a liquor license so they can't MAKE drinks? But they serve their own specialty drinks and beer? I don't know that works 🤷. Overall, it's a good place to try and say you've tried it. Maybe a place to visit once in a while. Final verdict, overpriced food, the location with okay food.

We went there on a Saturday afternoon around 145pm. Not too crowded, just about 3-4 tables in use. They gave us the brunch menu. We weren't looking to eat omelets. We were looking for burritos. They were nice enough to let us read the lunch-dinner menu while they made the transition in the kitchen. I think they put away the brunch menu at 2pm. I had the chance to read both menus and they have a really good variety of food. It's pretty impressive to see what they have. It's not just Mexican food. They had sushi, burgers, fries, pancakes (brunch menu). The ambiance is upbeat. There's disco lights but doesn't feel like a club, it's still a family and friends restaurant. My 7 month old slept through the loud music. The music was nice. They have TVs playing sports too. The restaurant inside looked clean and modern. Good place for a girls night There's plenty of parking and it's free! The alcoholic drink menu has a wide selection too. The complementary chips n salsa are bomb (see pic)! Cool place to have in Baldwin Park.

I really wanted to like this place but my experience was next to terrible.
We arrived asked for drinks took a little while but it was okay.
Guacamole was just okay nothing special.
We asked for our entrees omg this is where everything went sideways.
Our food took for ever when I say forever it was forever.
Finally it arrives but our order was all wrong.
Asked our server to bring us the check.
She kept pushing to get us dessert on the house & she did but didn’t really ate it because it was pointless at the time.
We just paid left her a nice 20% & left.
Will never come back.
Keep an eye for places like this. There were some other nice options around

So good! Can’t wait to go again. The free chips + dips are DELICIOUS!!! Love the green and red oily sauce. Our server was very attentive and he was informative about the food we ordered. It’s on the pricier side for sure so it’s a nice treat for us. 8/11/22
Update: Okay hear me out… went again a few days ago and was ignored by all the servers. My husband had to go to the front to ask for someone to take our order. He wanted to leave but we had been waiting for 10min already at our table with menus that I didn’t want to go anywhere else. I’m really disappointed because we didn’t even get a “sorry for the wait” or anything like that.
Honestly it’s expensive here so you expect better service! You’re paying $20 a plate, $8 for an agua fresca and $12+ for a nice drink sooo you kind of have high hopes when you go to a place like this. I know this isn’t like a fancy restaurant but still. Food was still bomb but I guess the service is hit or miss. Didn’t even take pics of the food because we were so hungry that we started eating immediately.

Went to la cosecha to try out the menu and location. The chips and salsas and small sample of beans that are brought were tasty. For myself and SIL ordered the steak, mom ordered enchiladas, children burger and burrito, hubby some tacos. All the food was tasty. Good job on that. Now to the down side. The music was so LOUD we could not hear our servers. Yes be aware it's like a club in there. You want to speak to your table mates shout at them, The servers, everyone.

Tardaron en darnos el menú, y no estaban ocupados, llegaron otras personas y los atendieron más rápido, mi hijo se sintió mal porque pensó que como hiba sport nos trataron asi!! La comida no es cosa del otro mundo.definitivamente no regresaría otra vez. Un consejo: lo más importante en un restaurant es la cortesía y por consiguiente una buena comida.

Awesome service, great food! We had Kat for our server, and she was great. She offered advice and recommendations, and we loved everything. We are from out of town, but if i was local, i would definitely frequent this place.

New and Clean. First impression was great. They brought us some delicious house made salsas and chips. We then ordered aguas frescas. The tamarindo agua fresca was delicious. No complaints there but the cucumber water was just bland and the pineapple agua fresca was extremely watered down. Each cup of agua fresca was priced at $8. Definitely not worth it.
Queso fundido was great we all loved it. Tacos governador and birria tacos were not good in my opinion.
The green pasta was delicious we all agreed. The enchiladas have potential but the rice was really bad.
Service was good for a busy sunday. They did a good job.
My overall opinion is that most items are overpriced and not worth the amount you are paying.

Found this amazing Mexican restaurant that gives a Cancun type of feel. I literally could have just eaten the complimentary chips and salsas because they were so good! Many choices on the menu and good alcohol selection. Prices were fair and service was great. Definitely recommend!
