Genuinely surprised how awesome this place is, from the customer service to the variety of the menu and how clean everything is. I picked up a Huarache de asada and my brother a Torta the asada. My brother loved his Torta he practically inhaled it! My Huarache was amazing, the corn dough was prepared fresh the pinto beans were delicious and the meat had the perfect textured and flavor. The lettuce and tomatoes looked and tasted fresh. The Horchata was delicious to. Easily my new favorite local Mexican food restaurant. Highly recommended! 10/10

The food was very good, and the drinks were GREAT!! They were freshly made licuados and smoothies just like in México 🇲🇽. Yummy! All employess were so very nice. Thank you 💖

The owner is awesome. The girls he has working there are trash. Food is great but the price is bad. Asada fries and two soaps and one glass bottle of coke $30. Soaps didn't come with rice and beans. Receipt is not itemized and I feel they make the prices up as they go and blame the language barrier when they charge you to much.

Just be careful with the bill, they were charging me more than 20 dollars more, its a lot!! And the cook was still upset. I dont know if he is the owner, but I asked them to do the bill again because even then they dont give you a receipt and thats where they take the opportunity to overcharge you!!! When you ask for the bill, they dont give you anything, they just tell you a total without a receipt. The good thing is that I have a good memory and Im good at math!!!

If you want the authentic Mexican food experience, this is the place. Great food with a homemade taste just like a grandparent or aunt made it, with love. The torta milanesa was delicious. The burrito of lengua was outstanding, the tortilla seemed hand made. The gorditas were also non-expensive and tasty, hand made corn flour tortillas with delicious cotija cheese. The mango juice was all natural, and their salsa was tangy, zesty, spicy and delicious. If I m ever in Baldwin Park, I m returning to this spot.

Actual authentic Mexican food, the food here has that vibe like if your Tia cooked it for you con cariño , I got the chilaquiles and was ecstatic because the asada came out just right and the chilaquiles werent soggy at all

Quality tasting food. Very personable staff. Kitchen is wide open, cooking area is 50% completely visible. Home type of cozy feel, with the twist of a loud kitchen. (Sounds like a kitchen at home on thanksgiving)

I ve been coming to Tizoc for a few years now. Little background, I grew up in a Mexican family and my abuelita and mom made everything from scratch. I kid you not, it taste like abuelita and my mom are cooking. Super authentic. I usually take it to go, the location is a bit crowded for me so I usually go for tacos de birria or pastor, their carne con Chile is amazing. Give it a try!

Cant go wrong with whatever you order here. My favorite are their chicharron tacos. This place is better suited for takeout as the seating is limited and its small. One of my favorite places to go for a quick bite.

Was in the area for Biz, had 2 carne asada tacos, great service with a smile, the beef was great, the red salsa was a little hot, but Im a wimp when it comes to spicy food. One of the best tacos Ive had. Clean place, just off the freeway, well worth the stop.
