I used to get food from here often years ago when I worked close by. I returned today so my bf could taste how great they were. I ordered an asada torta and I was disappointed. It barely had meat and the avocado slices were only 3 and very small and thin. It was all bread lettuce and mayo. Service was great and workers were very friendly. Instead of reducing the amount of meat and avocado, just charge more.

Genuinely surprised how awesome this place is, from the customer service to the variety of the menu and how clean everything is. I picked up a Huarache de asada and my brother a Torta the asada. My brother loved his Torta he practically inhaled it! My Huarache was amazing, the corn dough was prepared fresh the pinto beans were delicious and the meat had the perfect textured and flavor. The lettuce and tomatoes looked and tasted fresh. The Horchata was delicious to. Easily my new favorite local Mexican food restaurant. Highly recommended! 10/10

The owner is awesome. The girls he has working there are trash. Food is great but the price is bad. Asada fries and two soaps and one glass bottle of coke $30. Soaps didn't come with rice and beans. Receipt is not itemized and I feel they make the prices up as they go and blame the language barrier when they charge you to much.

Love this place. The staff here are amazing, they make you feel at home and treat you as if they were your own family. The food is exceptional. It was my first time here and will definitely not be my last!

Solo tengan cuidado con la cuenta me estaban cobrando mas de 20 dollares de mas es mucho!! Y todabia se molesto el cocinero no se si sea el dueño pero pedi q me hicieran la cuenta otra ves porq hasta eso no te dan recibo y ahi es donde aprovechan para cobrarte de mas!!! Cuando pides la cuenta no te dan nada solo te dicen un total sin recibo lo bueno q tengo buena memoria y soy buena para las matematicas!!!

If you want the authentic Mexican food experience, this is the place. Great food with a homemade taste just like a grandparent or aunt made it, with love. The torta milanesa was delicious. The burrito of lengua was outstanding, the tortilla seemed hand made. The gorditas were also non-expensive and tasty, hand made corn flour tortillas with delicious cotija cheese. The mango juice was all natural, and their salsa was tangy, zesty, spicy and delicious. If I’m ever in Baldwin Park, I’m returning to this spot.

Actual authentic Mexican food, the food here has that vibe like if your Tia cooked it for you con cariño ❤️ , I got the chilaquiles and was ecstatic because the asada came out just right and the chilaquiles weren't soggy at all

Quality tasting food. Very personable staff. Kitchen is wide open, cooking area is 50% completely visible. Home type of cozy feel, with the twist of a loud kitchen. (Sounds like a kitchen at home on thanksgiving)

I’ve been coming to Tizoc for a few years now. Little background, I grew up in a Mexican family and my abuelita and mom made everything from scratch.
I kid you not, it taste like abuelita and my mom are cooking. Super authentic. I usually take it to go, the location is a bit crowded for me so I usually go for tacos de birria or pastor, their carne con Chile is amazing. Give it a try!

Can't go wrong with whatever you order here. My favorite are their chicharron tacos. This place is better suited for takeout as the seating is limited and it's small. One of my favorite places to go for a quick bite.

Was in the area for Biz, had 2 carne asada tacos, great service with a smile, the beef was great, the red salsa was a little hot, but I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy food. One of the best tacos I've had. Clean place, just off the freeway, well worth the stop.
