Madres Brunch

Came in to celebrate my bestie's birthday. The service was excellent and the food was very delicious. We ordered the Omelette, two French Toast and the Madres Chilaquilas Towards the end the server came out with the "On Fire Birthday Waffle" for my friend. That was so sweet of them and I can't forget the Mimosa Flight Special. The drinks were cute and strong just how we like them lol We will be returning.

First time here, it’s popular and packed. So parking might be a challenge, the parking lot on sight is a bit condensed, we lucked out getting a parking space, but had to back in to the parking spot due to limited space. It seems, if you have a larger party, it may be a wait to be seated. Since there was only two of us, we were seated right away. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Seating area was a little tight, but they have fans circulating the air, so it made it tolerable. High energy music playing, but not overwhelming, nice background music-
From observation, presentation of the plates and showmanship was top notch. Portions of food were adequate. And quality of food was above average . There were flights of coffee and margaritas from what I observed. French toast and pancakes looked very appetizing and festive ( I’ll be trying them on a future visit). Overall a good experience and I have plans on returning to try other dishes. For this visit, we had the chilaquiles and the eggs divorciados. The chilaquiles were flavorful and filling, with plenty on the plate. The divorciados ,served with half a baked (menu stated baked potato but didn’t specify whole or half),had a great presentation and were good and flavorful- however being that I have a larger appetite than most, I could have used a little more on my plate. But overall a good experience and, I’m planning on future visits.

My friends and I host a yearly brunch here, the vibes are always fun & makes you feel at home! The service is quick and very accommodating to our requests. The food is always so flavorful and amazing; can’t wait for next years brunch! 🤩🙌🏽🥳

Food here was so good!!! The portions were also great and you will definitely get full. Their abuelita latte was good and I definitely recommend the chilaquiles though be prepared for that portion!! Would definitely love to return here.

Food was not great. Pancakes hard to cut, not fluffy at all and you would think for a $19 dollar plate they should. Do not order huevos divorciados, expensive plate for two eggs and cold beans. Definitely not coming back, food not great service lacks and expensive. Over rated.

Came in to celebrate my bestie's birthday. The service was excellent and the food was very delicious. Today was just bad service all around! It was only 4 adults and 3 kids(didn’t order food btw) and they called it a big party just so they can charge their own tip which it wouldn’t be a problem if the service was great but it wasn’t! Very disappointed with the food (chilaquiles) the server didn’t bother to bring us not even water, we had to ask about 4 times!
Don’t think I’ll be going there again! It was not worth it for the money we wasted!

Disappointed is an understatement if I could give a 0 star I would , party of 4 adults and 2 small kids we went here on Sunday around 2pm they close at 4pm, from the start our server was not pleasant at all. He took our drink order and took about 25 minutes to actually take our food order. In those 25 minutes he didn’t come around at all he then brought our drinks, I had asked for waters and it took him another 15 minutes for the water. We were hoping Once the food was brought it made up for the bad service, but the chilaquiles all around were cold and dry and it literally was just wet tortilla with 1 ounce of protein. To top it off we were charge 35 dollars for gratuity that was already included in our 200+ bill for unworthy service and food.

Food is all about presentation and not quality. The restaurant itself seems okay. The floor was dirty and cracked. This is the place to go if you want to over spend on mediocre food.

Was met with extreme prejudice. After being seated, 3 different servers walked by and didn't look in my table's direction. There were 3 tables seated 15-20 minutes after me and they were attended to almost immediately. After getting up to leave I asked to speak with a manager and her response was to ask where I was sitting before issuing a nonchalant and pitiful apology.

We were told it would be a 40 minute wait we ended up waiting about an hour & a half by the time they sat us we were still short a few seats so we had too add a table & we felt like we were super close to the next table I just felt squished in there .. definitely busy on a Saturday afternoon . Our server was the sweetest though .. I didn’t get her name but she had pretty red lipstick

Si buscan los chilaquiles más secos que ofrece Bellflower este es el lugar. Los ordené en salsa roja con el bistec. Incluyó puré de frijol negro que la forma que lo presentan en el plato da la ilusión que la porción es bien surtida. Pero no hay cantidad de frijoles que me hubiera ayudado pasarme esa tortilla seca de los chilaquiles. No tenían nada de salsa roja. Tampoco ofrecen arroz. Las papas estaban frias, se las llevo la muchacha y me trajo las mismas papas recién salidas del microondas. Está vez, la calidad de la imagen del restaurante no estuvo al par con la calidad de la comida.

If you are looking for the driest chilaquiles Bellflower has to offer, this is the place. I ordered them in red sauce with the steak. It included black bean puree, the way it is presented on the plate gives the illusion that the portion is well stocked. But there is no amount of beans that would have helped me pass on that dry chilaquile tortilla. They didn't have any red sauce. They don't offer rice either. The potatoes were cold, the girl took them and brought me the same potatoes fresh out of the microwave. This time, the quality of the restaurant's image was not on par with the quality of the food.

1) Service, service , service , for an additional 24$ on top of bill you would think they’d offer refills more napkins , clean utensils , NO 2) FOOD was not great, just looks nice, your paying for cute looking food not tasty food . 3) They allow pets, fine. In an open space, we complained to waiter and he argued that there is no roof there it’s a “tarp” not a roof so it’s considered “Open space” however literally between the wall and tarp there was no open space, completely enclosed . No open windows , it was enclosed where they have fans blowing and dog hair blowing on your table , gross . Poor management and coordinating on their part . Very unhygienic .

5 Star Brunch in the L.A. area is highly recommended!!! I went for a late Sunday Brunch with my wife today and found this excellent restaurant on Yelp! The service was friendly, fast, and on point. We ordered the Mimosa Flight and Modelo Michelada which was tasty! The food came in quickly, hot, and in large portions. The ambiance was relaxed and everyone was having a great time. I can't wait to come back and try some of their other great dishes!

Awful, awful place to bring your family. The food was subpar, and the menu lacks to mention the details of your dish. For example, I ordered hash browns as a side and they brought out a melted block of cheese with a couple shreds of potato in it... so, NOT hash browns. I sent them back expecting a clear apology and some hospitality; Instead, the waiter made a face at me, insisted I was wrong, and brought out some bland diced potatoes... Thanks?
The restaurant itself was super unwelcoming. It was dark and damp with only a couple fans to keep you and your food cooled off.The NO AC part also means they leave their doors open as workers step in and out a couple feet away from you with dirty mops with flies following them.
Wouldn't recommend this establishment to a single soul..

Great little place. I’d recommend. Ordered Rancheros which was tasty. Also enjoyed a mimosa flight and the specialty mimosa flight of which I absolutely loved the green apple and Tiffany. Cost was reasonable. Service was excellent and there was sufficient parking.

A wonderful experience! I will return, with or without my bookclub, most definitely. Service was amazing. The Huevos Divorciados was truly the best deconstructed loaded baked potato ever! As I have been craving Birría recently so I added it. I was not disappointed. 😋 My friend had one of the Chilaquiles options and enjoyed it very much. Please try the flights, you will be pleased. So pretty, unique and tasty.

We dine in and wow the customer service was amazing thank you Elizabeth! She was awesome! She gives you recommendations and answers all your questions. Very polite, love that she kept checking on us and always smiling thank you for our first experience at Madres Brunch we will be coming back. Came here for the first time on Father’s Day after the change.

Didn’t know what to expect. It was packed…but surprisingly being seated went quick and smooth. Great outdoorsy atmosphere, felt exactly like a brunch!

From there it was mimosas and then on to our entrees. 👍🏼

The service was astounding, food came out on time and waiters where very attentive. No complaints in this department.

Went for the Los Cubanos, the pork chops where phenomenal, I was surprised with the cheese on top! And over easy eggs on top! The food was delicious. Other plates are the Chilaquiles Rojos and The Popeye omelette which tasted delightful.

Mos Def will be coming back!

Looks like a great place but very disappointed with the service I was given. I was seated by the host and told the server will be with me shortly; little did we know the server never showed. We were seated over 20 minutes and not one single staff came to check on us. Keep in mind the manager was present only checking on the tables with food on them. I went up to the host to express my concerns and was told they will be with me shortly. The next server told us that our server has not showed up to their shift yet. This is not a customer's problem and should be handled appropriately with the manager. Why would we be seated when our server is not even present, this makes no sense. After working in the hospitality industry for over 8 years, this is honestly disappointing to see. We ended up walking out since my wife and I were not receiving any service. As we were walking out, my wife spoke to the manager (Sean/Shawn) and also expressed her feelings about the situation and all he had to say was “Sorry about that” and nothing more. I understand that the restaurant industry can be a bit hectic but it is also important for managers to be quick problem solvers and great communicators to their team. Please let this review be a learning opportunity and not just another complaint.

First time here and it was great. The service was good and the food and drinks were delicious. I wasn't looking to drink but my sisters were looking forward to mimosas, however they weren't currently serving anything with liquor as they are in the process of renewing their liquor license. Besides that, I had the Chilaquiles Verde and a hot Dulce de Leche Latte and ate and drank every bit. I definitely want to return and try some of their other menu items. And the staff was pleasant, courteous and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Im sorry, im a server myself and i wanted to bring my family to lunch and i get that sometimes the unexpected can happen. I was quoted 20-30 mins for my party of 5. It got changed to 6 so they quoted 10-15 mins more. That was okay, but we got sat 1 hour and 25 mins later! I was frustrated but I wanted to try this new place so we stayed. Then we get greeted by our server and he was great at first, but when the food came out, he was no where to be seen. We needed butter, ketchup, hot sauce and more napkins but finally had to ask another server for help. The food was cold in my family's chilaquiles and to make matters worse, I had hair in my French toast. I lost my appetite since I noticed after I had taken a bite. Also, the menu said one price, but we were charged a few dollars more unexpectedly again because the menu wasn't updated according to the server. If I am being presented something that says a price I would love to pay that exact price. I just wanted to get out of there because of this bad experience. They auto charged 20% tip for parties of 6 and more and the bill came to $170 for a bad dining experience.

outdoor seating atmosphere is extremely disappointing. waiters are friendly however inattentive- after being seated service is slow I believe there was only one worker attending outside. food also lacked flavor although portions are (too) big, it is still not worth the price. The food/drinks are only nicely presented Im assuming for social media, but I noticed a lot of food wasting.

Food was great. We got their Chilango plate and the Birria Omelette. With a hot chocolate. Everything was delicious. The parking is small and they weren’t serving any alcohol when we went. Our server Daniel mentioned they were working on getting their license again. He also brought salsas for me to taste. Red and green. They were both so delicious! I couldn’t choose one!

The food is really good. I've enjoyed the Chilaquiles several times now and they don't disappoint. The serving staff is very attentive. My only complaint is the noise level and the fly problem due to the dining area being an open space.

The place is really cool and trendy, the food is good and the customer service is outstanding. The only down side is parking and the fact that they get packed super fast. I would recommend you arrive early and be flexible with the parking situation. The food is good but heavy, so be mindful.

First time coming here, wanted to try because of a video I saw on instagram. I saw pink pancakes and wanted to try! I ended up ordering the Journey pancakes and they were great, but nothing extraordinary. Its a sweet dish so any sweet lovers, this one’s for you. Also ordered a flight of margaritas and just loved the strawberry one! Service was great! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. There is music and the vibe of the place is so cute. Wait time is less than 10 minutes. Only downside for me was parking. It’s decent but the place gets full really fast so have to look for parking outside on the neighborhood and hope you get lucky.

Great food a lot of options. The waffle with Carmel super good birria omelette even better. The mimosa and Oreo shake tasty as well. Person in front to greet you very nice also guy who came around checking on people was good to see.

Fue nuestra primera vez y no creo volvamos..todo era muy exacto, una servilleta por persona, no refills en el café americano, no chips panecito o salsa en lo que esperas el platillo , en general lo más destacable fue la amabilidad y servicio del mesero que nos tocó.

Me and my husband decided to eat here first time trying IT HOWEVER, IM not returning!

Our server jorge was amazing I'll say that he was very attentive and on point with everything kudos to him.....
THE FOOD how ever was very disappointing I got los cubanos plate, the porkchops were too dry and hard I couldn't cut or bite into it, my husband got the chilaquiles and the eggs were cold by the time we got our food, I feel like the food lacks taste and it's over priced I would go back ONLY IF THE MENU WOULD TASTE BETTER!

And as to tje atmosphere the music was loud and I felt like it was going on loop for hours with the same beat........ VERY ANNOYING!!

The food was great. Had the large margarita flight. 🍹 Tamarindo was the best, in my opinion. The breakfast sandwich was amazing. I got ham and bacon. We each had a different plate. Try to get there early. We got there at 10 am, didn't wait at all. By 1030am, there was a long line.

Wait time to be seated was average. Customer service was superb, food came fast after ordering. Waitresses/waiters were professional and helpful. Great experience, we'll be back in the near future!

Love What they did with the place!

First time here and i was blown away by the presentation and flavor of the food!

The Menu options are extensive and they have Mimosas!!! We grabbed a ice cold latte flight with 4 different iced latte's
1.mazapan
2.chocolate abuelita
3.cinnamon
4. pistachio
Every single one was delicious!
They have these really soft and perfectly balanced pistachio waffles which they top with ice cream the BOMB!

I had the red chilaquiles with egg
we went on saturday around 11am wait time was 18 minutes but can be longer!

They have made it happen on the corner of alondra and lakewood good job guys!

Great Customer Service!!
I was Seated Super Fast and Multiple people Passed by My Table to ask if everything was OK and if I needed anything.
The only downside was they had a lot of Fly's In the patio area (which is why they only got 3 stars) I would Recommend To the Owner..... To Invest in some kind of fly traps or fly deterrents but besides that everything I ordered was good.

Iced Mazapan Coffee 🔥
And The Chilaquiles Rojos
with Asada and Egg
Overall it was good.

I love the ambiance inside 🥰 the food was delicious. I got the verde chilaquiles and a side of the red. I gotta say next time I’m ordering the red one. That red salsa was so much more tastier. The portions are huge too! Oh and the strawberry horchata latte 👌🏽yum!

Our server was good but the server at the table behind us was out of this world. We eavesdropped and heard how he was explaining the menu to his guests, mentioned the top recommendations, and the variety of drinks in the drink menu. We were like we need him to be our server next time.

The Chilango omelette was stuffed with red chilaquiles. The chilaquiles were still crispy and deliciously flavorful. The black beans left me wanting more, they were really tasty with that drizzle of sour cream. This is a MUST stop if you are in the mood for good food/brunch.

My guest ordered the pistachio waffles topped with pistachio ice cream. I got a small tasting and they had a good pistachio flavor. However, after she added the syrup I think that they were overpoweringly sweet. But to each it's own.

I arrived at about 12:30pm. The wait was 45 to and hour wait. Of course waited. It was for my birthday. And my party wasn't here yet. So it was fine. It's expected. But there isn't much seating outside where they could put some shade too. Food was great performance was great. Inside was hot, I sat next to the window and I was sweating and there wasn't much AC inside. Other than that it was okay.

Service was AMAZING! staff was so relaxed and welcoming. Felt like I was my aunties house. The food was super delicious! I had the huevos rancheros....soooo good! The only draw back was the annoying flies we had to keep shooing away. They were relentless, first there was one, then five. (FYI we were sitting inside not the outside patio) regardless of the flying bugs I will be back!

I really enjoyed this new brunch spot. The food was really good. The presentation of the food was also very nice. Jorge was a really good waiter. They seem like the teamwork is really good. My family definitely want to come back. I was told the Mimosas and Coffee flights are the best.

The place is a nice beautiful place. Ambiance is great, have good music. But not that great food for the price. I ordered chilaquiles and this is the only place that charges more for the eggs. And where just ok. My daughter got the pink pancakes. They look amazing but don't taste amazing. What kid doesn't want to finish pink pancakes. Just not too good. And to get refills I had to hunt them down. Don't get me wrong the place is very nice and we enjoyed our experience. But too expensive for just an experience.

The music was too loud , it was like being at a club. The service was excellent, the wait time was long, due to large grps of family and I think we waited much longer for the food. One hour wait for chilaquiles, and they were ok I had better.

Got the worst table ever. Right next to the serving station. Imagine attempting to eat while waiters yell their food orders and constantly pass by your table that was maybe 2 square feet in size. As a couple, we tried looking at the manager for help but seemed to be ignored.

Tengan paciencia porque hay mucha gente en espera, la comida esta bien nada extraordinario, los chilaquiles muy secos pero pedimos mas salsa y la llevaron sin costo extra. El servicio rapido y atento. El unico inconveniente es la musica muy fuerte y no hay forma de platicar ... mucho ruido y hablar a gritos

Very little parking available to begin with. We were sat down at a table outside right away. Took about 15 mins for a server to come by. Then another 30 mins to bring us regular coffees. The food took another 15 mins to come out. There were a lot of flies around, 1 landed on the pancakes. They were able to replace the pancakes with fresh ones. Overall the food was very bland and dry. The service was slow, and the server was very hard to find. I am visiting from out of state and high expectations for this restaurant. But I was left dissatisfied and disappointed.

I was excited to try this since I saw it passing around instagram, but was deeply disappointed. Food was mediocre at best, flies everywhere, and somehow my food came before my coffee. It wasn't overly busy so I thought service would be good but only the food runners seemed to be on their toes. Then in the outside seating, there are so many flies going around I had one land on my food while eating. They did at least replace promptly but it was a huge inconvenience.

Then the syrups stay in the middle of the tables and when the flies go around they land on them. Kind of gross when you then pour the syrup on your food... unfortunately figured that one after the fact.

Overall... a lot of gimmick and flash for mediocre food.

Service is good but food is not that good, I ordered the chilaquiles verde with birria and they were very dry most people was taking the food to go, the outdoor patio is nice but very uncomfortable with this heat they have fans all over but you can still feel is very hot.

Server Jorge was amazing. We are from out of state and came to visit this Restaurant due to its high star rating. The service alone makes it’s 5 starts. The food was just as great !

Came here for the first time. Saw this local spot near me. I am big about supporting your local places but I personally wouldn’t come back but if I did I wouldn’t get the same things I bought today. I ordered what they call “The One” it’s a birria sandwich with pickled onions , eggs, and birria. I also ordered a birria omelette. Both items were very moist however birria lacked flavor. The consomé was too oily , potatoes that came as a side were over cooked. For the price point of a little over 62$ with what they call a coffee ✈️ flight I would say is not worth it. Service was very friendly at the door however when you get seated they don’t really attended to their customers. Had too look for my waiter to get the check for like 10 mins. If you want water you better speak up because if not they won’t ask either.
