Iced coffee flights. Shrimp and grits. Bacon waffles. Hibiscus mimosas. Chilaquiles. Need I say more!? This is the brunch experience I've been waiting for. Excellent service. Great ambiance. They were playing 90s hip hop all afternoon! Had such a great time I didn't want to leave. We were so full had to go home afterwards and take a nap. Is that not the perfect brunch? Totally worth making a little trek from Long Beach to Bellflower. This place is THE destination.

Such a great spot. Service was quick and servers were polite and engaging. Took into account a food allergy one of us had and notified the kitchen staff to cook their meal separately from any allergens. Nashville chicken was amazing, perfect amount of spice and with tons of flavor. Cheeseburger was solid, meat and cheese were fresh and cooked to perfection and the bun was the crown jewel. Got the big mimosa and attempted to split it with 2 people but it seems more like a 4 person endeavor. Portions were generous. For the price (a little on the $$ end) we definitely got more than we paid for. Absolutely recommend and will be coming back!

The food was great! I recommend the breakfast burger and the bacon waffle. The mint mojito iced coffee was refreshing and sweet. It was busy today since it’s a Saturday, but we were seated in about 15 minutes. Our server was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. The biggest issue was the volume of the music with the noise of the crowded interior. It was hard to speak to my partner across the table. We ended up practically yelling to be heard. This may be less of a problem during less busy times.

The ambience, the service, and the cleanliness of this place is amazing. But, would I come back? Definitely not. The food is overpriced. The portions are small. The menu is short and very limited. For one French toast piece a la mode, I paid $6…. one small-corner-piece. I ordered chilaquiles, the tortilla was soggy and the ingredients did not balance well with the portion served. Took my boyfriend and his brother with me to try this place out, both of them over 6ft tall (big tall men that need more than just a small serving), were still hungry by then end of our meal. It is not a place to go eat at if you have a big appetite. It was an unsatisfactory experience. We paid about $75 for three plates of food, a water , mimosa (overpowered by the champagne), and OJ. Not worth it .

We just moved to the neighborhood and The Nest También caught our eye so we decided to give it a try and oh man we're we glad we did. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun, the staff are all so nice, and the food was amazing. I had the mini french toast a la mode and the crispy potatoes with the garlic aioli and it was delicious I could not stop eating those potatoes! My mom had the breakfast burger and she loved it the bacon jam was a great twist and the egg was cooked perfect. My grandma had the chilaquiles and let me tell you that lady is picky as heck and she finished her whole plate! We will definitely be coming back here a lot!

One of the best brunches I've had recently. I found it by chance on Google Maps, and I'm glad I did.

The menu is pretty simple, straightforward brunch items.

We got the fried chicken sandwich, the fried chicken plate, The Benny, the bacon waffle, and chilaquiles. Highly highly recommend the bacon waffle. It was so fluffy and rich and sweet. Liked pretty much everything we tried. The chilaquiles was the only "meh" item, in my opinion. It's funny that they say it's one of their signature items.

The breads and sauces and such are all home made too. Bacon is cured by the restaurant. Biscuits are baked in house. Good stuff overall.

Good coffee, and fairly good service too. Highly recommend.

Wonderful restaurant with kind employees. I appreciate the design and aspect of small plate/side orders with your main. It helps simplify the process of trying more delicious options. I feel this concept also fosters a greater sense of satisfaction at the end of the meal. It feels as though the food and meal experience was designed with intent. Very happy with this restaurant and plan an being a long time repeat customer.

Unfortunately is too expensive for the food plus the service is not great, but dont get me wrong, the pancakes are good. But I paid $21 for two pancakes, two eggs and three small stripes of bacon. And $6 for a cup of coffee and no refill my wife ordered the same thing and my daughter ate for free My total was $68 plus $12.50 tip.

I came here with my for brunch with my family and before we entered the restaurant we were getting out of the car and my grandmother accidentally bumped the car we were parked next too when she opened her door. The lady in the car was extremely rude about this and treated my grandmother with the utmost disrespect. It turns out this lady worked at the restaurant. The food was very bland and way overpriced for the quality of it aswell.

Decent food but I was expecting more for their prices. If you ask for a side salsa its an extra 3 dollars per serving plus each refill is charged separately. I get that there are places that do that but this is not even the greatest location nor quality of food to do that.

Let me begin with the food I ordered a plate of green chilaquiles with no pork beef and for side hotcakes. The green sauce was super tangy on the salty side. The eggs were not fully cooked plus the pancakes completely raw and super nasty with no flavor. My wife order a small plate for are son the fruit was super old. The fruit was dry and freezer burn this place was not good at all. Hey ask you if you want pork meat on the chilaquiles plate and even if you dont get the pork meat they still charge you and arm and a leg for that plate not worth it. Parking in horrible the waiter never came back to see if we need something else after I requested an extra plate he never came back with the plate or to say sorry. Customer service really sucks they need more help in customer service. The wait time was 45 minutes no worth it.

I ordered from here once before and I was excited to find that this place was available on Uber East s today, u til my food arrived. There was a live and injured fly INSIDE MY SANDWICH BOX just walking all over the sandwich as soon as I opened the box. It didn t even fly away, just kept crawling on everything. No way I m gonna eat that sandwich or the other one we bought this afternoon. Complete waste of money and grossed me the hell out. NEVER again!

I Really wish I would have been able to taste my food to give this place a rating, but unfortunately we didnt even receive our food. We waited an hour. However, I did get to taste their disgusting sour coffee.. They are lucky I didnt do the talking. My husband Was polite to the manager and to the waitress. I am upset that he was. The manager offers us free meal tickets. My husband kept it but I destroyed mine. Im never coming here again, and I dont recommend anybody to come to this place. They forget about you. Not sure if we just came at the wrong time, but NOT at all what we were expecting! The original Nest off of Alondra is way better! The food here was over cooked and over priced for what you were getting. I do not recommend this place for breakfast. Lets hope their dinner menu and service is better than breakfast. Only good thing that came out of this was half off the bottle champagne for mimosas. Be careful the chilaquiles is very overpriced and more of a tapa plate. Wheelchair accessibility: I mean theres no stairs and plenty of room to get around inside.

Had a lot of fun getting brunch here. This location is focused on the classic brunch vibe whereas the other one is a more traditional breakfast joint. The wait at this location was zero compared to 1.5 hours at the other one. When we walked in we immediately saw the largest champagne glass Ive ever seen holding what appeared to be a gallon of mimosa... So yeah. Check it out. The owner Tony politely greeted us and thanked us for coming in. Will def return here!

I have a family of 5 the food quality, service and the constant communication between front to customer is beyond my expectations. I am shop manager, and customer service is my specialty, and these people in here are worth the wait and time. The food is just the best i had as far as in-house made by scratch daily. Went for breakfast on April 15, 2023. My group ordered a variety of things, but I had the chilaquiles and added a side of sausage. The chips were all coated with a red sauce and came topped with crumbly Mexican cheese and cilantro. I chose the sunny side up egg and it was delicious. I also had the spicy michelada and that was well crafted. Pretty spicy and a good ratio of beer to the mix. I also had a part of the gravlax and the salmon on there was super buttery, smoky and salty. Finished with a Mango Cart for good measure. The portions, relative to the price are somewhat steep tho ($16 for 1 bacon waffle, no sides), but some of the other dishes are generous. We were visiting family and had breakfast at The Nest. I am vegan and was just expecting to have coffee and maybe a mimosa but they had a number of vegan options that were not printed on the menu. Our server told me all about them and I was not disappointed! I tried the vegan sweet potato hash and it was delicious! They also offered some great brunch cocktails. We tried the pop-pop, which was prosecco and a house made fruit popsicle, and the blueberry lemonade. I would definitely recommend! None of the drinks (edit: except coffee) are free refill. Not even the cokes, which come in smaller glasses than even the water cups. Its maybe 8-10 oz of actual soda for $4. The water cup I got after wasnt even properly clean. They wont add anything to a menu item instead theyll charge you a side. I asked to put bacon on a burger, instead they gave a side of bacon, and put maple syrup on it. Burgers are basically slider sized for $14. Bacon at least was crisp.

The food was good but its way too expensive for what appears on the plate. What you read on the menu is exactly all youre going to get. Only one side was offered to me by the waitress, tater tots at a cost. Nothing else was offered. No fruit, hashbrowns, nothing. You have to ask for everything. No ketchup, no hot sauce or any condiments were offered. I had to ask everytime. You end up feeling awkward because you have to ask for this and ask for that. Same with water. I wasnt offered any, I had to ask for it. The music is obnoxiously loud, blaring some techno junk that makes you wonder if youre there for Sunday breakfast or for clubbing. The ambient is pretentious and it feels like Palm Springs came to Bellflower. It was a miracle that coffee refills are free.

Cant stop, wont stop. The owners and staff really know what they are doing. The food is ON POINT, and the vibe is great. This is a nice airy place to go out to eat with friends or family, and get some really epic soul-inspired cuisine. The executive chef clearly has thought through how to make the simple things special, from the bacon jam on the burger to the bread & biscuits made FROM SCATCH every morning. I mean, who even does that these days? Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the mimosas are fun. This is not an inexpensive place--they definitely charge what the food is worth. That said, Nest También knows how to bring quality at a level thats pretty unique to Bellflower. 10/10 would repeat. And keep repeating. Also, hot chicken sandwich is my go-to here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and the service was amazing Order: 2 Egg Combo ($12) Sausage, potatoes, and two sunny side up eggs The potatoes had a wonderful crunch on the outside, well seasoned, and was warm and soft on the inside. The eggs were cooked perfectly to order. The sausage was the king of the show. It had a wonderful blend of spices and was juicy. Never had sausage like this before and will go back for more! This a great place if you want a satisfying meal that wont cause you to have food coma after and be productive for the rest of the day, hit this place up Parking: There is a lot right next to the restaurant that has a pay station (card only) that costs $4 for 3 hours (additional hour additional dollar). You have to plan ahead how long you are staying in the area because you have to place your receipt with printed hours on the dashboard.

Food and staff interactions were all great! I only wonder if it would be possible to open some more windows indoors as it was pretty loud and felt like I had to shout just to speak with my party. Just a thought. Otherwise I still recommend this place to everyone I know and absolutely love the hibiscus mimosas! Will definitely be back soon.

I got to The Nest all the time and decided to try this place out. I like the decor and clean ambiance of the restaurant. The music was too loud and hard to have conversations. The service was really slow. My food was delicious but cold. The waitress fixed it and was super nice but they should be checking the food before it leaves the kitchen. Overall my experience was just ok. I ll probably go back because I m all for supporting local businesses and maybe I just came on a bad day.

The ambience, the service, and the cleanliness of this place is amazing. But, would I come back? Definitely not. The food is overpriced. The portions are small. The menu is short and very limited. For one French toast piece a la mode, I paid $6 . one small-corner-piece. I ordered chilaquiles, the tortilla was soggy and the ingredients did not balance well with the portion served. Took my boyfriend and his brother with me to try this place out, both of them over 6ft tall (big tall men that need more than just a small serving), were still hungry by then end of our meal. It is not a place to go eat at if you have a big appetite. It was an unsatisfactory experience. We paid about $75 for three plates of food, a water , mimosa (overpowered by the champagne), and OJ. Not worth it .

My 1st exp was EXCELLENT. My waitress, was super Lively, black hair pulled up in bandana, was over the top, food was awesome and asst manager, young gal was also awesome. Liked so much I came back 2 days later for Mday. My wait was 1 hr longer that predicted, so 2 hrs, but I didn t care & the owner gave me a comp glass of wine. The waitress was new, seemed frazzled which I wouldn t care, that s totally fine but she was rude, hard to approach, like don t ask questions. I actually tried to order super quick, as it felt she was done & I needed to make it quick. As a result, I had to switch my order. I said, if they haven t yet submitted my order, I d be grateful to change it (it had only been minutes), but if so don t worry about it. She did change it, but it caused lots of bill issues. Again no big on my part but it was awkward approaching the waitress with it, as she seemed put off. I also had a coupon, that seemed a lot of work to try and use. I had to awkwardly insist the use of it. I ll likely try Tambien atleast once more since my first experience was great. But if my 2nd exp had been my 1st I wouldn t be back, especially since the prices are on the high-end. After my 1st exp I would have highly recommended. After 2nd, only slightly recommend. I m hopeful it was a weird experience & the 3rd time will be a charm. If so, I ll change my review to 5 stars. The food is excellent best waffle ever!

Nice place ; very different . But food it s not good , I order a chilaquiles very salty and dry , Chichen tasted really bad . No I m so sorry but not good at all. Coffee for that price ?? Not please don t go and expend your money and nasty food .

One of the best brunches Ive had recently. I found it by chance on Google Maps, and Im glad I did. The menu is pretty simple, straightforward brunch items. We got the fried chicken sandwich, the fried chicken plate, The Benny, the bacon waffle, and chilaquiles. Highly highly recommend the bacon waffle. It was so fluffy and rich and sweet. Liked pretty much everything we tried. The chilaquiles was the only meh item, in my opinion. Its funny that they say its one of their signature items. The breads and sauces and such are all home made too. Bacon is cured by the restaurant. Biscuits are baked in house. Good stuff overall. Good coffee, and fairly good service too. Highly recommend.

What a great experience! Was visiting for the Superbowl and happen to land in a bar where the owner is from Ohio! Antonio the owner was so engaged with us and all the other customers Im not sure if he had a clone in the store or not he was everywhere and so welcoming! I tried damn near everything on the menu and it was all great! The mini french toast was a pleasant surprise! The potatoes tacos were the bomb and the verde salsa was the perfect spice. The crispy potatoes had just the right crunch! Im happy we got the chance to go and have this experience and connection!

The menu is small, their hours are few. I had the breakfast burger and it was AMAZING. Just go and try it, its an experience for sure. They offer outside seating and you can bring your dog.

Love eating here flight a little expensive but worth it beautiful and delicious. I absolutely love the chicken biscuit the seasoning was great chicken was crispy and they make the biscuit from scratch every day definitely will be back and I would like them to have a DJ again they had one for the grand opening but they should have one all the time especially during brunch it really sets the mood and its in a great location.

We just moved to the neighborhood and The Nest También caught our eye so we decided to give it a try and oh man were we glad we did. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun, the staff are all so nice, and the food was amazing. I had the mini french toast a la mode and the crispy potatoes with the garlic aioli and it was delicious I could not stop eating those potatoes! My mom had the breakfast burger and she loved it the bacon jam was a great twist and the egg was cooked perfect. My grandma had the chilaquiles and let me tell you that lady is picky as heck and she finished her whole plate! We will definitely be coming back here a lot!

The food and friendliness of the staff are the reason why we enjoy this place. My picky 5 year old loved the mini french toast and bacon. We had no idea Tuesday and Thursday kids eat free, so she even ate a bit more. the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is so good. The chicken is moist and the breading is light. The chilaquiles were great. Fresh and light, but still filling. And of course, the habenero salsa is still a hit.

Another wonderful meal at The Nest Tambien. I m definitely sad they got rid of my favorite dish, tortilla espanola, but the flautas and the Tambien Mule definitely made up for it. And did I mention they have THE best staff. If you haven t been here it s an absolute MUST!!!

If your on the fence about ordering a slice of focaccia as a meal, just DO IT! Maybe it was just my slice but let me tell you, this thing is craveable! The flake salt, fennel seeds and rosemary on top made it so savory, then boom you get this pop of a Concord grape that just refreshes your palate. I just thought it was another breakfast place .WRONG. Everything we had was PERFECT and I do mean everything. My best friend and I ordered a bunch to split so here goes. The biscuits are fluffy but crisp with just the right amount of butter. The Crispy Potatoes are GOODT I ve never had potatoes so good. Perfect crispiness, just the right amount of salt, & the aioli was the right touch as a dip. We also ordered the Gravlax .The size was good, the salmon w the cream cheese and the multigrain bread .man the whole thing was just sooo good. Highly recommend. Last but not least the Potato Tacos, who in the world would ve thought to put mashed potatoes in a taco? Think cheesy Gordita crunch but a little healthier. Was so good we didn t even get a picture. Honestly just .I m HERE FOR IT all. And an added bonus it s BLACK OWNED! I will be back when in town!

Nice local spot, food was delicious, and the owner personally greets you, theres not a big selection on the menu, but room for growth. They did not overcrowd their space which was good. Ill be back.

This place is excellent! Theres a limited menu now because its their soft opening. Its a different concept and dining experience from the original (The Nest Breakfast joint). The Nest: También has a light, open and friendly vibe. Dont expect to be so overfed that youll need a nap later. I think its a great place to meet with friends, hang out, eat and drink (Brunch anyone?!).

As a Bellflower local Ive eaten at the original Nest location for many years and always loved having great food served by dope people. The Nest También builds on the same foundation and more. The new spot has way more tables, a full bartop area and outdoor dining. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the food is still great! Theyre still making some adjustments and figuring things out through their soft opening but I can already tell that this place is going to be just as dope as always. P.S. Get a mimosa!
