You just can't beat NORMS. The food, service & ✨(in this case) paying for my check was good, consistent, and efficient per usual. 👍🏽

✨ Hey NORMS you have the pay tablets at this location...why are you not rolling this out at more locations?
Standing in that cashier line has factored in my decision to go elsewhere so many times. Places like Chili's, Applebee's, or TGI Friday's because paying is efficient.

I love NORMS (a customer for 41 years, pops first took me at age 11, La Cienega location, I AM 53 Now!) but you must keep the cashier for your seniors they are a huge customer base AND roll out these pay tablets for your younger customers. I assure you, your repeat business will increase. Your food and service are good, consistent and efficient. Your check/pay experience is outdated and overdue for a rune up!

I ordered online for pick up. I got the country fried steak and eggs and substituted the hashbrown for cajun tatertots and got hotcakes with strawberry cheesecake topping. My steak was missing the gravy, tater tots were missing the cajun seasoning, and I got regular strawberry topping without any of the cheesecake cream. But the hostess was nice, and the food was ready by the time it said it would be.

I'm giving this place a 1 star due to the restaurants maintenance. I know it's hard to keep a really busy restaurant clean. But the bathrooms are disgustingly filthy need attention to accommodate customers. Besides that the tables and area was dirty. I've been to extremely busy restaurants before and this has never been the issue.

Norm's is a classic, diner type of restaurant, that serves excellent food at decent prices. Portions are large, and the waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at all hours! It gets very busy at times, so be aware you may bevin for a wait. It's well work it however.

This location is our favorite Norms, Food and service is always great. On every visit it’s always full, but waiting isn’t long. Today we had breakfast and lunch. I had the 1/2 sandwich, soup & salad. I chose tuna, clam chowder and salad with ranch. My sandwich was perfect, salad crispy and fresh and my soup delicious. My kids had breakfast plates. Always very happy eating here, prices are good

First time in a long time. I wanted a traditional breakfast with hashbrowns. The meal came out pretty quickly as there were alot of customers ahead of me. Overall it was what I was hoping for the waitress was kind and made sure I had enough coffee. And thank you for the ketchup and hot sauce. As of June 2024 this meal came out to about 15 dollars. Look forward to one of those late night . I'm in the mood for breakfast ! Btw it does come with pancakes 🥞.

This place is too busy, long waiting to get seated, place was dirty, too many people, slow service, noisy, and food was not to Norms standards. Disappointed !!

we went at 1 server was never around. she was everywhere except our table. we where like when we where in elementary raising our had to speak. we both had coffee needless to say I only got it filled once. my usual is 3 or 4 times because they come to ask numerous times she never came too ask.usually

The worst food 😫
I won't go into great detail, but half the order was incomplete, the salad was wilted and not drained causing run off that had to be soaked up with knapkins before it could be eaten!
The patty melt didn't have any potatoes as ordered, just the sandwich which was too greasy to eat!

Way to expensive tried to charge me 7$ for 2 sodas!! And a single burger nothing on the side they tried to charge 15$!!!! Was very disappointed in the food and service.

Arrive late morning, still very busy. The food tastes as if cooked on a very dirty grill. All our food tasted like dirty greese.

Sunday morning very busy, obviously a well liked neighborhood eatery. Steak cooked on a dirty grill leaving a dirty greese taste. Same with the eggs and hashbrowns. Bathroom was extremely dirty and very neglected. The staff was very good handling the large crowd, but should do a better job with food preparation and bathroom maintenance.

Outdated but fits with the "Diner" feel. Servers are pleasant, food is decent, a little pricey but better than Denny's. Their mobile app rewards program is a plus.

I have been frequenting this location for many years. Lately there has been a food mistake at every occasion. Something left out/not what was ordered. This was the first time my husband had a very legitimate complaint about his steak, which is his usual order. The previous visit they didn't give him his scrambled eggs with his steak breakfast, instead they gave him carrots. This time his steak was actually tough and "chewy". I'm hoping that these are temporary issues. The people seem caring, kind, and professional. Maybe they're just overwhelmed... it does get very busy. The food is normally excellent. Not just for the price...

I sat @ the counter and witnessed all kinds of health code violations, from waiters using the same dirty butter scooper, handling people's food with dirty hands etc..this place is a breeding ground of all sorts infectious diseases.

Got a porter steak and the knife I got couldn’t cut my steak I ask for another knife but that’s all they had it was too chewy I ended up giving it to my dog just awful

They served us burnt bacon. You know how sour burnt bacon tastes? Yeah it looked completely burnt from the start and they still served it. Do not come here if you want good bacon that is not burnt.

Review for the Norm's leadership team from what I can only imagine is this location. I sat next to a group of y'all at a nearby diner and I couldn't help but overhear how poorly you treated your fellow service workers while wearing your logo'ed shirts.

If this is how you treat people at other restaurants I can only imagine the treatment your employees get. I've been coming to both these diners for more than 15 years but the Karen attitude lost you guys a customer for life.

Been coming off and on for 20 years now. The food has been consistently good over the years. Last night our server Patsy was fantastic and made our experience that much more enjoyable. She was friendly, attentive, and helpful considering it was such a busy night. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Me and my husband go here every so often and the service is absolutely great! Our server Patsy was absolutely phenomenal last night given the busy holiday! She always checked up on us and did whatever she could to help us if we needed it, and she had a wonderful attitude! 5 stars for that woman alone!!

We went late night about 4 tables occupied including ours, not one time did the server come and check up to make sure everything is well, we didn’t feel like we were welcomed or taken care of we had our server Gabriela and at the end she said she couldn’t even print us a receipt because we wanted to see what she was charging us for . Very disappointed never received my soup ….. my son wanted to order pancakes but she never came so we just got up to go pay at the front because we figured she was never going to come to our table….

I had amazing service on Sunday night. Been to norms and always had Okay service. Lillian changed my experience. I would go back just to experience her again. Lili was expectional! From taking my order, to the end. She had been by far the best waitress I've had.

Coffee was good. Food was ok but slow. Slow to seat compared to Downey norms. Service was adequate however vibe was off for me. Probably would not return but that's just me. I am sure others may find it pleasant.
