Bar Noir

We were in LA to attend a birthday party at the Peninsula Hotel and my economically shrewd wife found Maison 140 as a cool and inexpensive nearby hotel - which we were very happy with. However drinks in the downstairs Bar Noir was an incredible added bonus. Randy the Barman engaged us immediately and within 3 minutes we had our generously poured drinks and were chatting to other guests. It felt like we were regulars at “Cheers” (the old TV series Bar, where everyone knows your name). It was one of the best bar experiences we’ve had in years. Absolutely loved it. Thanks Randy ! A nice bar to enjoy the live music on certain days with the weather allowing the patio option... Definetly try the house special margarita, can not remember the name 😊 but it was excellent. Overall chill vibe.

Finally went to 'Bar Noir'. Can't say I didn't like it. Friendly chill spot with some potent elixirs, reminiscent of Eastern Europe.
