The iconic diner has been serving Hollywood stars since 1949 and you still never know who you might find yourself eating a slice of apple pie next to.
Was a nice cute place with only 20 countertop seats available. Loved the jungle wall paper and comfy seats. The place was busy, but the staff handled it well. Had a delicious eggs benedict and an iced coffee. But bring the extra cash not cheap for breakfast. Enjoy!!

We knew that this was extremely overpriced but it was for the location, location, location.
It’s kind of sad they give you an entree for $30 (breakfast burrito) and absolutely no garnishes.
“What is this depressing bean?” (The Grinch)
I mean- make it next level but we knew the prices ahead of time so just know that it’s overpriced and kinda lackluster.

The food is good, had the Eggs Benedict was average but good. Service was excellent. This is a great little counter top restaurant, small and quiet but full. Dress is super casual, with stellar service from the entire hotel staff. It’s a fun place to eat and will be returning.

Stay away from this place😰
I am an Italian
Executive Italian chef,
and have been living in Beverly Hills for 12 years
unfortunately this cafe is not bad but the staff
especially the 2 ladies one on 40 ,
And the other one on the 57
is very rude, she takes confidences that
shouldn't be made with customers.
like today I had to ask for a glass of water and
he slammed the glass on me table,
and the
man next to me got scared,
then the cook made me an omelet with
something that looked like salmon but wasn't
salmon,
and the man with the glasses pretended he
wasn't He saw ME,
I had to ask him several times to refill my
coffee.
Instead the other day the younger girl,
she threw a straw in the face of a gentleman,
and another day ...
but let's leave I could tell about it...
I don't understand how the manager of the
Beverly hills hotel Don't take action.

The prices are high, but it’s the Beverly Hills Hotel so it’s to be expected! The cocktails do have a heavy pour, which is good. Very friendly staff and a cute look!

Service was just, fine. The $16 ~slice~ of cake was awful. It was not the worst slice of cake I have ever had but I would have preferred hostess. In fact I would have been more satisfied if I had paid $16 for a hostess cupcake. And no, the pretty box did not make up for how awful this cake was. WHY WAS THIS SLICE OF CAKE $16? This experience has forever tarnished my opinion of the hotel in which it resides, which I used to hold in the highest regard.

My husband and I ate at the Fountain Room this morning. Ruthie was the most fabulous, kind, attentive server. We were seated immediately, coffee was poured quickly, and she made great menu recommendations. Food arrived minutes after ordering. Other staff members were just as friendly and attentive. Great experience, I will definitely be back when I come back to visit Beverly Hills.

I recently had breakfast at The Fountain Coffee Room. I loved how everything was frozen in time. However I wanted a strawberry shake and asked for one and got a chocolate shake. The breakfast was ok and nothing to brag about. I saw that on hotel website you can have fresh oranges squeezed right in front of you and that never happened. Overall the atmosphere was very cool however I was very disappointed with the fountain coffee room I felt the gentleman taking our order didn't pay attention to what we wanted.

Nice place to visit inside the Beverly Hills Hotel. I always enjoy the food there, specially the tasty Breakfast Burritos! The staff is always very professional and kind. The place is very small and can get pretty crowded, but you can always go to the Polo Lounge instead, the atmosphere is great!

Most bland, disgusting, overpriced club sandwich I ever tasted. Also, it is shown with french fries in the pictures, but not served with fries. What you see is not what you get. One star because the latte was not too bad. But for $8, it should be much better. Also, the room is in a tiny basement, that can barely fit a dozen customers.

I love everything about this place. The ingredients, the decor, the staff, the service. This place is intimate maybe about 12 seats in the entire place, Denise is fantastic always attentive as is the staff Ruthie and the guys.
Although its located at the Beverly Hills Hotel there are mainly locals and long time guests of the hotel. There are some locals or members only secretes that I will not disclose on here :) It is said that Elizabeth Taylor grew up hanging out there as her dad owned an art gallery a few steps from the shop.
Must try: ORANGE/GRAPE FRUIT FREEZE. So delicious specially on a hot summer LA day.
McCARTHY SALAD. Delicious request a grilled jalapeño
MARY J. BLIGE PIE. This is a secret pie that is not on the menu it is not always available but, do ask for it. The recipe was given to the chef by Mary J Blige so the legend goes. It's amazingly delicious.
