The vegan ice cream is great here. We enjoyed it very much. 24 flavors, many fruity, I would say the most interesting was pickle pear, which tastes literally like pitaya fruit! We loved the flavor apple pie so much! And we got also all 3 kinds of vegan chocolate flavors. Each was perfect. And they have also vegan cones. Nice service, nice atmosphere and area. Thank you!

I was looking forward to trying this popular gelateria and had high hopes based on the reputation and unique flavors. The service was friendly, and the flavor options were impressive, which initially got me excited. However, I was disappointed with the texture of the gelato itself—it seemed like it had been made days prior and had likely gone through several melting and re-freezing cycles. Most flavors had visible ice crystals, and some were partially melted, which affected the creaminess and freshness I typically associate with gelato.

This could be a great spot if there was more attention to quality control and freshness, as the flavors themselves were solid. I hope this feedback is helpful and that they’re able to address some of these issues, as I’d love to return in the future for a truly fresh experience.

Was very bad, plus it was my first time, and the guy was rushing us to select what we wanted! Then I noticed that he didnt offer us any samples, but the other customers they did! I saw the woman giving customers samples of the ice cream, and these people were their first time, too! Plus, their ice cream its SUPER SWEET! And they kinda taste all the same. Its says its all vegan! I got a waffle cone, and that thing was hard. I couldnt even bite on it. Ive never eaten cardboard, but Im guessing thats how it tastes. Final thoughts, very expensive and not good quality of ice cream definitely not going back first and last. I wish I would get a refund back! LOL

Some of my favorite gelato on the planet. I first had Fatamorgana in Campo di Fiori in Rome. None of the quality has been sacrificed in its move to Los Angeles. My favorite is Stracciatella but I ve never had a flavor I didn t love from here.

FANTASTIC!!! I dreamed about how delicious this gelato was!! We had a Nutella, chocolate hazelnut and pistachio cup and a blueberry cheesecake milkshake. Both were absolutely amazing!!! Everything is gluten free so this place is a MUST for any gluten-intolerant or celiac patrons! Even if you re not gluten-free, you will undoubtedly enjoy it as it still is the best gelato outside of Italy. Other dietary ingredients (like dairy or soy) are clearly labeled on each flavor so that you can find exactly what you want. The flavors are made from real ingredients so that it actually tastes like the real thing. (I love the passion fruit sorbet!) I can t recommend this place highly enough. I m sad to see people disappointed because I ve truly never been disappointed from the quality of food or service from the employees. The flavors are so incredibly delicious that I honestly can never decide which flavor to choose! Luckily you can have 2 flavors fit inside of a small ;) There are over 10 varieties of chocolate, over 10 different sorbets, and some fun unique flavors like basil or ricotta. You really can t go wrong with any of them. I love trying them all. This is their 2nd location in LA. The first one is in Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. I highly recommend both locations!! This place is a gem!

A HUGE range of flavours, especially vegan flavours, which is great to see. So many chocolate options too. The service in store was efficient and friendly. Store was clean. Unfortunately I didn t enjoy my ice cream, but I think this is just because I chose the wrong flavour. I chose the Estasi chocolate / coffee / hazelnut ice cream. I couldn t taste any hazelnut and the coffee was very muted. It just tasted like chocolate ice cream. I would probably revisit and try another flavour.

Gelato here reminds me of Italy: the size of scoops is perfect, gluten free waffles and the amount of flavors you could barely imagine. Parking could be a hustle on weekends - thats a busy street. But the quality of gelato definitely worth it, I highly recommend! They also have a nice loyalty points program - once in a while I am getting my gelato for free.

Came in. Chose my flavors right away and told the lady behind the counter what I want immediately so she doesn t wait for me. Pay and press no tip on the screen. The employee sighs loudly, intentionally right before saying here s your card and hands it back to me Also gave me a burnt waffle cone and each scoop of ice cream was the size of a small apricot. I love fatamorgana but not coming back to that one:)

Fatmorgana has an incredible range of gelato, including numerous flavours Ive never seen anywhere else in the U.S. For example Ricotta, Honey and Coconut. Or Banana cream and sesame crunch. Yes, please! Even the basic vanilla is a little slice of heaven. Definitely visiting again.

My husband and I got 4 flavours and they were all either average tasting or not good. Steer clear from the baklava and tiramisu Flavor. The baklava one tasted more like a pumpkin spice Flavor while the tiramisu had no Flavor at all. The Belgian chocolate was okay, and there was a hazelnut one that was fine too. Wouldn t come here again

A choice of 66 flavors. Everything is made fresh which makes the taste even better. Nice workers. Definitely the best gelato in the area. They are really helpful to people with any allergies. They ll go to the back and get a fresh scooper just for you, or they will wash it in different water than the other scoopers. Is a bit pricey but it s definitely worth it. You will leave there wanting to go again.

Best gelato in the area. They have so many flavors that you dont even know where to start. The quality of the ingredients is excellent; my favorite are the sorbets. They have some seating area inside and outside; you can find metered parking or use the public parking structure on South Beverly.

Finally, an amazing gelato place in Los Angeles! I dont know what drugs they are slipping into this gelato, but I could not believe the flavors going on with my taste buds. This is hands down the best gelato in LA. Go here. Study the flavors. There are so many options. They have an entire section dedicated to chocolates! I live five blocks from here. My diet is dead. But I am happy. LA finally has great Gelato!

After living in Rome for several years I fell in love with Fatamorgana. It was an amazing day when I saw their logo out of the corner of my eye while driving down Beverly. I thought No, could it be? Is it really Fatamorgana just two blocks from my house? I drove back to my house, parked my car, and walked (ran!) to the store. Yes, it really was my beloved Fatamorgana from Rome - exactly the same way they make it in Italy and it s by FAR the best gelato in the city! As a bonus the owners (Ale and Steve) are real characters and always welcome you with a story and a smile. I visit at least twice a week and new flavors are always being introduced. If you haven t visited this place, I promise you it ll be the first time you had real gelato, just like they make in the old country.

I am 4 10 tall and the size of a 9 year old girl. I am also 62 yrs old, and after being diagnosed with NAFLD I began my quest to lose nearly 1/2 my body weight to remain at a healthy and athletic body at 117#. I lost my favorite ice cream flavor due to shipping restrictions last Winter, and have been searching for that PERFECT dark chocolate ice cream replacement for 5 months now. We are here for vacation and I stopped into your shop and drooled over the selections of 8 chocolate flavors to choose from. I asked the lady working on Sunday Feb 2nd at 12:45 PM if they had a child or baby size I could order, and she said..Yes, for CHILDREN! This is why America has gotten so Fat. I was only going to be there once. Im sure she wasnt the owner, so why was she so MEAN. I have been very upset about this. Its Monday nite now, and I am mad enuf to write this, and go somewhere else nearby (venice area) and also post this in the appropriate places on the internet so other Americans dont have to get fatter by being forced to purchase MORE than they should eat at one time!

This is without a doubt my favorite place in the World to get Gelato. Each of their flavors is made from scratch. Honestly, once you try their quality, you dont want to try any other gelato. By far the BEST place to have ice-cream. In LA over the past few years, weve had an explosion of top notch ice cream choices: Roris, Sweet Rose, Salt & Straw, etc. But where is all the great gelato? There have been some places serving cheap versions (artificial ingredients and gross fake colors resulting in unnatural tasting goop) but this is LA, where is the authentic & delicious gelato? I FOUND IT! Fatamorgana is an import directly from Rome. One taste and you are immediately transported to the eternal city. Theres a reason why people stand in line excitedly for this stuff. Fresh natural ingredients result in fresh natural ice creamy treats. How many different types of chocolate can you imagine? Odds are Fatamorgana offers that many choices of pure chocolate gelato if not more! Then they also have sorbettos in amazing flavors and crazy combinations; I ate the passion fruit sorbeto all summer long! Again, fresh ingredients used in traditional recipes and manufacturing gives us authentic Italian gelato without having to fly for 12 hours. This is the REAL deal so go enjoy!

They just opened and are already out of salted caramel...my husband s favorite. My husband got nothing (went to Starbucks for Lemon Loaf) I got chocolate on a regular sugar cone. Cone was basic with no flavor and chocolate was bitter. Creamistry is MUCH better. The place was clean and the staff was nice. Gelato is a lot of calories so if you re going to have it it s gotta be worth it. To the owners....invest in better cones and a loyalty program....you will need it to stay in this high rent district with sub-par gelato and awful cone.

60 flavors... 9 types of chocolate to choose from .. hazelnut chocolate and Kentucky chocolate were so great ..
