In 1931 a long-sought dream became reality. Giuseppe Cipriani opened the doors to Harry's Bar. In a discreet stone building perched along a canal just off Piazza San Marco in Venice, he created a timeless and impeccably appointed establishment. His concept was to serve others as you would want to be served yourself. His vision of simple luxury came to touch the souls of people all over the world. Four generations of Cipriani have grown a single restaurant, into a world renowned hospitality brand. Cipriani Beverly Hills is open for Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week.
The Jazz Café at Cipriani Beverly Hills offers classic Cipriani cuisine, attentive service and live entertainment, providing an intimate, warm atmosphere.
Cipriani Beverly Hills brings classic Italian elegance to the heart of Los Angeles, offering a sophisticated dining experience with its iconic Venetian-inspired dishes and sleek, upscale decor. The menu features Cipriani favorites like the signature carpaccio and delicate baked tagliolini, made with high-quality ingredients that highlight the essence of Italian cuisine. The restaurant exudes a refined ambiance, with white tablecloths and a well-curated wine selection, making it perfect for both special occasions and upscale gatherings. Service is attentive, though the lively atmosphere can be a bit noisy during peak hours. It’s a go-to spot for anyone seeking a taste of Cipriani’s renowned hospitality in a glamorous West Coast setting.

My birthday dinner was an unforgettable experience, thanks to my friends who surprised me at Cipriani. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and professional service, making our evening extra special. The food was exquisite, every bite got better and better. Big thanks to Carol, Erik, and their team for their outstanding hospitality. From beginning to end, everything surpassed my expectations, and I can't wait to return for more delicious Veal Piccatine! My birthday celebration was made truly memorable, thanks to all of you!

Pretty decent. But nothing extraordinary. The service was good, everyone was very friendly and the timing of everything was good.
Experience at the host stand can be more pleasant. No warm greeting, host seemed a bit inexperienced.
Food was ok. Nothing super impressive, but pretty standard. I would say just because there's nothing to complain about, also doesn't make it a great noteworthy experience either

I see and understand why reviews here are so polarized between a bevy of one stars and a bevy of five stars.
We were a group of about a dozen people.
🐠Tuna tartare was delicious, but beef carpaccio was smothered in this awful aïoli that disgraced the meat. 🐟Fish was severely overcooked and poorly presented; hardly anyone touched it.
🥩Beef was good when it wasn’t overcooked.
👨🍳But the service!😖 I understand and sympathize with the negative service comments at this establishment.
🥊I and my chair were severely bumped by the waiters continuously and multiple times as they served and cleared plates from the table. There was a clear lack of agility and spatial recognition; if anyone is recovering from injuries, this can be a serious problem.
I also saw a waiter, practically rip a menu out of a gentleman’s hands at our table; I’m guessing the waiter was instructed to clear all the menus and wasn’t about to let a kind customer stop him.

If I could leave negative stars I would. This was a lackluster dining experience in every way imaginable. No one should go to this restaurant. I doubt it will be open very long.
As an initial matter, when I arrived to the restaurant, which was practically empty, my husband and I were led to the back room to dine. There were 2 other parties in the front room. As other non-black diners came to the restaurant they were all seated in the front room. As a Black woman I cannot help but wonder whether this restaurant has a race problem. No one else was seated in this back section except for me and my husband - 2 Black people.
Things only got worse from here.
My server’s name was Corby. He is an older bald man. If you must eat here, do not sit in his section. It’s almost not fair to describe him as a server as he provided virtually no service to my husband and me. The first question that I asked of him was whether he had black napkins as I did not want to put a white napkin on my black pants resulting in my pants being covered in lint. He told me they did not have black napkins but that no lint would be left on my pants. I left this restaurant covered in white lint.
Corby was completely useless and unhelpful He never explained the menu, never once checked in on us after our food arrived. He never offered us more water. I could see his reflection in the mirror busily folding those white napkins as if that was his only task. When we called him over finally to clear our plates and I specifically brought up his lack of service he did not even apologize.
Now, I wish I could say the food was the saving grace here. It was not. All of the food that we ordered was incredibly bland. Clearly not even the smallest amount of salt was used in the kitchen. The minestrone soup, grilled salmon, spinach and ricotta ravioli all bland. They served a sad excuse of a side salad along with the salmon - I’ve seen side salads at Denny’s look more appetizing than this one. The only positive thing that I can say about the food is that the iced tea was refreshing and the plain mixed berries (not served with any sort of cream) served for dessert were fresh. The busboys were attentive.
All told, do not waste your time or money at this restaurant. There are far better (Italian) restaurants in Beverly Hills specifically and LA generally.

I was initially pleased with the place, its calm atmosphere, and the elegant furniture. However, the staff were extremely unprofessional. They ruined the surprise and the celebration, and when I asked if they could clap or sing when serving the cake, they mocked me, which was both disrespectful and disappointing. The manager was the most rude and unprofessional person of all.

The food is ok, typical Italian fare, nothing special, but quality is acceptable. Service is abysmal, they are rude, inconsiderate, do not make you feel welcomed and will kick you out in no matter what after you've had your two hours at the table. No "whenever you're ready", or "no rush." You'll get "it has been two hours, we need you to vacate your table now."

We were at Cipriani's on a Saturday night. While we were eating, I placed my sunglasses on the table. We finished, walked out the door, and I remembered I left my glasses on the table. Went back inside, and they were gone. In a time span of 90 seconds. The head waiter said that he saw my sunglasses on the table during our dinner, however they disappeared within 90 seconds. The manager or host up front didn't do anything nor did they call me back. It was obviously one of their waiters who stole the glasses and they did absolutely nothing. Will never go back to this place. Absolute disgrace.

I had the pleasure of dining and drinking at Cipriani Beverly Hills on Friday November 1st. The city was in a very celebratory state coming off of the Dodgers World Series victory. The effervescent mood continued at Cipriani. The welcome at the front door was warm and embracing. We were whisked to the second floor for an evening of beautiful music and food at the newly opened jazz club.
I have no doubt that in a short period of time it will join a list of classic LA institutions. The vibe and atmosphere harken back to the days of elegant supper clubs in the mold of the Stork Club or El Morocco. Do be sure to wear your finest of evening attire. The room and the music demand it.
Cocktails were stiff and properly made. All of the Cipriani dinner classics were represented and executed brilliantly. Staff were attentive, welcoming and gracious. The manager Laura embodies everything that makes Cipriani service so legendary. She was elegant and graceful, making our party feel as if we had been regulars for years.
The restaurant is a true class act. The team should be proud of what they have accomplished.
I live in New York and travel often to LA for work and to visit family. Cipriani has quickly joined my list of favorites such as Tower Bar, Musso & Frank, Dresden etc. that are must visits when I am in town.

We were seated while waiting for my wife to arrive, and it took longer than I expected. But the staff were super friendly and kind and it didn't seem to bother them at all. They continued to bring bread and drinks until she got there.
It's expensive, but good.
I recognized a couple of people from movies, but no big deal.
An apparently wealthy fellow, with his wife and two sons, grew tired of waiting for a table and became belligerent. But the manager handled it well.
I'm not a big fan of the Beverly Hills lifestyle, but it was a good experience. The food was top-notch.

Where to start? First, there is no restaurant in my 30+ of life that has provide exquisite and attention to detail service than Cipriani in Beverly Hills (aside from their restaurant in LV, must be a Cipriani thing). The Wagyu Tenderloin Tagliata just melts in your mouth, no steak house can top it, the Argentian Shrimp Curry with rice pilaf I'd take any day over any lobster and then to top it all off the best dish great in flavor and yet very simple was Veal Piccatine. I'm not a dessert kind of guy however the house made Gelato and Creme Brulee were next level. Will be back very soon, the managers at this restaurant just make you feel like Royalty and that's reason enough to go back. Don't take my word for it or anyone else's just see for yourself.

I recently visited Cipriani Beverly Hills while in town, and it was an unforgettable dining experience! My friend recommended this spot, and I’m so glad they did. Having been to many restaurants, I can confidently say this is one of the best I’ve ever been to.
Everything about Cipriani exceeded my expectations—the ambiance, the service, and especially the food. The Scampi Langostino was delicious and the desserts were a highlight of the meal. The tiramisu was out of this world, and I couldn't resist trying my friend's lemon meringue, which was equally amazing.
Cipriani Beverly Hills has won me over, and I’ll definitely be coming back every time I’m in town!

Sloppy Cipriani disappoints.
A friend recently took me to this new joint. I was sad Hilton acquired the Beverly Hills Cipriani Hotel where I spent many hours in the lobby lounge enjoying the famous Harry’s bar menu. So I really looked forward to the Cipriani restaurant opening!
People say it’s hard to get a reservation, but we had no problem. Maybe I’m on a frequent guest list? We were seated in the middle of the back of the restaurant where the by the host who said it was quieter there. That’s absurd. The place is loud enough to make you wonder why the designer didn’t use soft sound absorbing cushions & drapes. The noise level clearly put everyone on edged ensuring a hostile atmosphere.
Our Cipriani waiter crudely kept asking us to repeat ourselves saying she couldn’t hear us. Her thick accent didn’t help. She struggled with the sound, our English & the menu. Her manager kept coming to check on her. She interrupted our conversation so many times to confirm our order that I finally asked her to please stop bugging us. After that she rudely hovered over us trying to get us to finish our meal & leave. Since the place wasn’t busy, I thought this was beyond annoying. The Cipriani N.Y. manager would surely fire both these horrible people.
The yucky Cipriani food was truly disappointing. The eggplant Parm was too salty & the pasta was overcooked. Neither of us finished our food. The people at the table next to us complained about their meal & sent something back. Staff kept bumping their chair, making everyone uncomfortable. The tables were not well placed. Everyone we encountered was unfriendly.
If you want to be treated poorly in a loud room with mediocre food, this place is for you. I won’t be back soon.

Tried to scam us with their 20% large party service charge when we're only four people. Extremely not satisfied with how they deal with reservations, not on time and had us wait despite having a reservation, the manager was like 'people wait for 30 minutes' I have a table booked it's really not my problem, don't allow reservations then if you're not gonna seat people in time. Did I mention that they're a typical LA restaurant where they sit the 'unwanted' folks deep inside the restaurant? Anyways just don't bother going there because their food is mediocre at most too.

DO NOT BRING AN INFANT HERE! Absolute worst experience ever. Ruined my fiancé’s birthday. Would rate zero stars if I could. Took my 7 month old out of his car seat to get fresh air because he was getting fussy and I didn’t want to disturb other people dining, and one of the employees had the nerve to tell me I could not walk around with my baby. I had ordered over $500 in food, and immediately got up and left after being told that before the food arrived. Disgusting and disrespectful. And the appetizer that arrived before left (chicken salad) was also not tasty at all. Will never dine here again. Thank you Cipriani for a horrific experience.

We have been in many locations around the world at the establishment. Always very good experience. Unfortunately I can’t say that for Cipriani BH.
We were at the restaurant in the beginning when the place was opened. It was much better, however the experience started to deteriorate.
There is a special lunch menu for $34 that includes 3 course meal with a lot of additional changes.I think they should be ashamed of surviving this kind of food.
Everything was so bad, worse than a fast food place. I ordered a sea bream and when I saw it I was shocked. They brought me the tail of the fish. It looked disgusting and didn’t have any taste.
My fiancé order some kind of chicken with tomato sauce. It had no flavor whatsoever.
The service was horrible ,so many people were walking around. Everyone had an attitude and very unfriendly.
I guess we won’t be going back any time soon. I think the management should take this into consideration, I see a lot of people are not happy with the experience they have at this well known establishment.

FOOD POISONING AT CIPRIANI BEVERLY HILLS!!
I recently dined at Cipriani Beverly Hills and it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Despite having a reservation, I was left waiting for 20 minutes before being seated. This wait time would have been somewhat forgivable if the service and food had made up for it, but unfortunately, it only went downhill from there.
The food also caused severe food poisoning. I spent the night incredibly ill, vomiting and having severe stomach pain, which completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable evening.
After the ordeal, I called the restaurant to explain what happened. I was promised a follow-up phone call from the manager, but that call never came. Being ignored after such a serious issue is simply unacceptable.
Given the long wait despite a reservation and severe health issues caused by the food, compounded by the lack of response from the management, I cannot in good conscience recommend Cipriani to anyone. Dining out should be a pleasurable experience, not one that leaves you feeling regretful, unwell, and ignored.

As an Italian, I am well-acquainted with Cipriani as is the whole world probably. My grandfather, a chef, often shared tales of the legacy that has become synonymous with Cipriani, evoking fond memories from my days spent with him in Italy. Therefore, when I discovered their new location in Beverly Hills, I was excited to try it for lunch. Unfortunately, our initial excitement soon turned to disappointment when we were denied a table with the explanation that they were "fully booked." A quick scan of the room revealed otherwise, with only about 10 out of perhaps 80 tables occupied and wait staff idle. It was evident to me and my family that there was space available, and we felt unfairly judged. As regular patrons in Beverly Hills, this experience left us all feeling quite disheartened.
It seems that the legacy of what Mr. Cipriani carefully built - an establishment embodying the idea of "treating others as you would like to be treated" - has been lost in Beverly Hills. Despite claiming to offer ‘classic cuisine, attentive service, and live entertainment in an intimate, warm setting,’ I encountered unfriendly attitudes and snobbish behavior. They ought to take a quick journey back to their origins - to a man who honored people and valued hard work with a love and passion for great food. The pretentious demeanor I encountered at Cipriani is a far cry from its illustrious past, now just a sad imitation of what it once was. In a city bursting with authentic Italian gems, mark my words, Cipriani might disappear faster than a plate of pasta at an Italian feast! Arrivederci, Cipriani!

The most disgusting experience of my life. I will never go to this restaurant again. This is a disaster for the City of Beverly Hills. Extremely unprofessional stuff and management. The entire restaurant is flooded by waiters who are not doing anything except interrupting guests every 2 minutes. Also horrible acoustics, extremely noisy restaurant. Horrible overpticed food, we ordered a salad which had only 4 pieces of extremely hard tomatoes and it was $21. We also ordered pasta - that was uncooked, they charged $4 for an ice cube in a drink, and $24 for 2 waters, also the artichoke in the salad was all brown. The staff kept interrupting every 2 minutes, to make us leave fast, after 50 minutes they were already offering a dessert. I asked to call the manager to talk about this nonsense, she came and with attitude told us that this is a fast paced restaurant, and customers have to leave quickly. She didn't even apologize for ruining my friend's birthday. Exactly 1 hour later we were forced to leave and met people at the valet complaining about the same situation. This is a shame for Cipriani group, their food in Vegas is also very bad. I hope this restaurant will stop existing soon, these people don't represent the values and customer service of Beverly Hills. Do not waste your time, money and nerves and do not even go there. There are many wonderful Italian restaurants like Madeo, Dante etc. with great food and exceptional customer service.

Horrible place, our food was cold, we had to wait for an hour with reservations and also they cancelled our reservation 5 hours before it was due. Nasty place and rude management.

Service was good- everyone from the valet , bartenders, manager & servers were very attentive. But the food, which we came for- was disappointing.
(We ordered the Spinach ravioli & Tagliatelle ragu as mains and I was not a fan of either). The martinis are served in a large shot glass.. they were well made but didn’t love the glasswear.
Cipriani NYC sets the bar so hoping BH can enhance the taste a bit to match the aesthetic

It not makes sense at all you Pay for Luxury service and Restaurant to get the Andres respectful and rude people. This is one of the divorces experience ever had in my entire life in Restaurant.

From starting at the bar for a pre dinner drink to the amazing food and terrific service, Cipriani delivered on a legitimately authentic (and delicious) Italian dinner. Tuna tartar, beef carpaccio, eggplant parmigiano, fresh burrata and lamb chops highlighted an amazing meal. A proper, white table cloth, high end dinner as elegant as expected.

Good service, fair food, nice looking restaurant. The crowd was very Beverly Hills older that are trying too hard to be hip and stylish. Definite scene but not in a good way. Glad we checked it out but probably will not return.

After a few more visits to Cipriani Beverly Hills, I've decided to revise my initial review. Initially, I had an unfortunate encounter with a manager named Samantha, which led to a rather negative perception of the establishment. Samantha had abruptly canceled my reservation without any explanation, and her response during our phone conversation was dismissive and unprofessional, making for an exceedingly disappointing experience.
However, having returned to the Beverly Hills location several times since, I realize that judging the entire staff based on one individual's actions was unfair. I acknowledge that the restaurant, being relatively new, is still finding its footing, and it's understandable that they're busy and still adjusting. Despite my initial experience, the hospitality extended by other staff members has been remarkable.
I want to extend my appreciation to Eric, another manager at Cipriani, who has been exceptionally kind and attentive, ensuring that our visits were memorable. His friendliness and professionalism starkly contrast with my previous encounter and highlight the level of service I've come to expect from Cipriani establishments worldwide.
Additionally, the serving staffs, including Alberto, Peter, and Dario, have gone above and beyond to provide excellent service, making our dining experiences enjoyable and fun. Their efforts have significantly improved my view of this location, and it's clear that they are dedicated to ensuring patrons have a positive experience.

I absolutely love cipriani in Miami and NYC and was so excited to try out the new LA location. It was so loud we could barely hear each other at dinner. The food was good and we had good service. My main complaint is the drinks. It came in a shot glass. It makes you not want to order drinks here because you would need 4 to make 1 cocktail. Shot glass drinks are not the vibe.

Never ever will I go to this place again!!
In the last few weeks I was also invited by friends but I refuse to ever go to this place again.
Very rude corrupt staff.
When I make a reservation they cancelled me already a number of times. When I go in without a reservation and pay money to the staff , I get a table right away without waiting.
When my well known powerful friends call for me , I also get a table right away but the food is so horrible that I will never dine here again. They lost a very valuable customer for life.
I rather go to their place in Monte Carlo , Mexico City and
New York where I get treated like a king.
Horrible food compared to other fine Italian restaurants.
Definitely not Cipriani quality of food what I am used to around the globe. A 92 years old lady guest I had with me was basically pushed out of the restaurant and almost fall on the floor. Give this place 6 months in Beverly Hills and it will be closed. Beverly Hills is a very small closed community.

As a frequent patron of Cipriani establishments across the globe, including locations in Las Vegas, New York, Miami, London, Dubai, and Monaco, I have come to expect a certain standard of excellence associated with the brand. It is with regret that I must report my recent experience at the Los Angeles location fell significantly short of these expectations, particularly in terms of management and customer service.
During my visit, I observed an alarming incident involving a group of Persian gentlemen seated nearby. The waiter and manager approached them in a manner that I perceived as unnecessarily rude and discriminatory. They were instructed to pay immediately and leave the restaurant on the grounds of being 'loud', despite what appeared to be normal behavior. This confrontation escalated to the point where their unfinished wine and food were removed from the table, denying them the opportunity to complete their meal.
Additionally, the ambiance was markedly uncomfortable. The presence of approximately five waiters and a manager, who stood idly behind my table, created an oppressive atmosphere akin to being under constant surveillance.
My personal experience with the service was also unsatisfactory. Having specified a strong aversion to raw meat based on a previous experience in Miami, I was disappointed to receive an appetizer that directly contradicted my request. Furthermore, my order of lamb chops was served without inquiring about my preferred level of doneness, resulting in a dish that was unacceptably undercooked.
These instances collectively suggest a serious lapse in the quality control and customer sensitivity that Cipriani is renowned for. I urge the headquarters to closely review the management practices at the Los Angeles location. Without prompt and decisive action, I fear these issues could significantly tarnish the reputation and success of this establishment.

Came to the world famous Cipriani finally in Beverly Hills! Excellent food, and atmosphere. Upscale and classy crowd. Manager Eric was so nice bringing the Italian culture of hospitality to Beverly Hills. Convenient valet parking on Camden. Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience.
P.s. all the whiners with the 1 stars all seem like snobby impatient people who have no understanding of what it means to open a restaurant in Beverly Hills especially one with such anticipation. Give the staff a break while they work out the kinks of being open only for a couple weeks.

Booked several reservations on open table and very important ones and my experience is canceled without even notifying me with a phone call or email or something. I had to click on my confirmed reservation to see that it shows the experience is cancelled! Wow this is totally the opposite of how I was welcomed in Las Vegas cipriani! I don’t even want to go! Horrible start folks! This is not how u do a business in America! Reviews are important! U don’t treat your regular customers like this, who visited almost all cipriani restaurants. I am expecting an email from you manager!

I’ve been here twice now - and made a third reservation which was canceled by the restaurant.
Both times I’ve dined there we were sat an hour after the reservation time. No attempts by staff to accommodate or even apologize.
The atmosphere felt strange as well… 9:30 pm at night with all the lights on and no music ?
Food was OKAY. We’ve dined at their other locations before and were much happier with what we ate in (Vegas, New York and Miami).
Most recently the restaurant called us to cancel our reservation because they are overbooked. I explained we had people already coming from out of town to join us for a birthday dinner … no apology no option to change the time or date. Extremely dismissive and rude. I’ve lived in Beverly Hills my whole life and with this level of service I don’t think this is going to make it for long …

WORST EXPERIENCE! I made a reservation 3 weeks ago and they called me 2 days before the date to cancel my reservation because they had "overbooked" without offering to rebook me on another date. I called them multiple times, they did not want to rebook me on another date, straight up told me to go back on Open Table and make a reservation, even though nothing is available for the next 2 months. Very unprofessional, I've never had that experience with a restaurant before. Are they even allowed to do that?

Really great ambiance but in a city where good food exists everywhere, Cipriani sticks out like a sore thumb. For the price, food is forgettable. This restaurant is like a magnet for LA transplants and encapsulates why I hate eating in Beverly Hills; they prioritize aesthetic and preserving a brand name of "high class" instead of just making really good food. Server was good and fairly attentive. If you want good Italian food, in all honesty the pasta at Pasta Sisters which is a pretty normal restaurant clears every single dish I had here, which is saying a lot.

Steer far away from this establishment. Should be out of business. Only a matter of time.. They don’t honor reservations booked on open table and cancel them unilaterally. Never ever experienced something like this .Their senior management should fire the 2 pompous front of house guys that run that place. Disgraceful, shame on you!

No words for the whole experience from last night.
Cipriani is my favorite restaurant in NYC and Miami. The best service and food…
This review is for an old manager who needs to learn people skills and communication skills as a manager.
We came for my friend's bday, and he kicked us out from door stating to my face that the reservation was canceled while my reservation was still on OpenTable. He didn't have any compassion, he didn't even say, I'm sorry...
At first, he said they called me yesterday and left a message ( I don't even have a voicemail ), then he started to be even more rude when I showed to him that my reservation was not canceled on the open table app. Then he even said that they canceled my reservation on Wednesday… basically, he just didn't want us there.
Not even an apology, nothing. Rude. Mean. He just left.
This restaurant should be closed before is opened with management like this in the middle of Beverly Hills. I have never experienced someone with no people skills working in a restaurant as a manager.
Save yourself embarrassment walking in with a reservation made a long time ago, you will be kicked out because the manager thinks you are not a Beverly Hills enough to be seated in his restaurant. Wow Cipriani!

Ignore the poor reviews - or at least know it's due to extreme demand for this new edition of Cipriani. Even the best have their challenges. Thankfully for me, Cipriani rose to occasion and delivered an EXCELLENT meal. Food was spectacular and service surpassed even the Soho location I typically go to. Very fun and delicious. Enjoy!

The food is absolutely beyond disappointing, ordered the chicken which was basically chunk sized parts of all the chicken in can-like tomato saude..I could not even touch it. The Tuna tartar was basically tuna placed in a blender, nothing else…bland and inedible. My friend’s fish was soaked in olive oil, and my friend veal ragu pasta was utterly horrible. The place needs some music because the restaurant can get either very loud or uncomfortably quiet. Staff very nice and attentive. Please Fire the cook and reboot!

An outstanding meal tonight (my birthday)! What a cool spot - VERY HIGH ENERGY!!!! Seems like a dozen servers for every customer - all great folks and a HIGH LEVEL OF SERVICE -,JUST PERFECT!!! Igor - a great waiter!!! Ok the food - tuna tartar - as good as it gets with amazing side spread (amazing good) and bread crisps. Pasta Veal Sugo - best ever! Lamb Chops w old school mint jelly - excellent. Meringue White cake - not crisp like normal - way better and soft. Summary - a perfect dinner - super hot spot - beautiful crowd of A-players! A must!! 5 - Stars!

If I could give this NEGATIVE stars I would. I’ve never ever had such bad service without even going to the resturant!!
What this restaurant pulled is absolutely insane, We had 4 reservations as we are regulars in the one in Vegas, New York and Mexico City and were very excited for the opening and was going to take various clients and friends. We made the reservation a month in advance and even flew out to be there for this opening weekend.
Lo and behold 24 hours before our reservation we get a notification on open table that they cancelled the reservation. No explanation nothing. One by one they cancelled each one. I called the restaurant and they said sorry with the following excuses. 1. We overbooked. 2. Our kitchen is malfunctioning. 3. The restaurant is not ready. 4 we apologize but we can’t accommodate your confirmed reservation. Let me be clear, I called 4 different times. Each time with a different excuse.
Then they said you can try on open table and then hangs up the phone on you.
Furious that they cancelled all 4 of my reservations at different times and days and with their staff was rude on the phone and hung up ok me when I asked why. I decided to drive there.
I asked to speak to the manager. An older Italian man who ignored me. He said go talk to host I can’t help you. I go to the host and I ask them to reconfirm my reservation. Meanwhile the restaurant is packed with a number of b list and c list socialites in LA who clearly they accommodated by bumping my reservations.
The host did nothing other than said I’m sorry but we hope to see you come at a later date. Not once did they even bother looking at the books to find a spot for my 4 dates. Their recommendation was to book on open table. OpenTable does not have any availability til end of February for weekend dates.
So long story short we were rejected after having confirmed reservations and the restaurant did nothing to fix the problem. This elitest mentality will burn bridges with the community and I hope they fail because they have not anything to make amends for the damage they have done. We had clients book flights, we had secured babysitters, and scheduled around these planned dinners only to be cancelled for just cause.
My recommendation. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCATION

Made a reservation a few weeks in advance and then received a random cancellation by the restaurant because they over booked tables. When I called back and spoke with the hostess and the manager about rebooking my reservation, they were not helpful at all and very rude. they did not provide any resolutions or alternative times to rebook.
This restaurant just recently opened, and already horrible customer service. I’ve been to several Ciprianis before, but this location has the most rudest customer service.

Can’t comment on the food or atmosphere because the customer service is so horrible. Made reservations weeks in advance, they cancelled last minute with no alternative options for times or dates, only explanation is they overbooked. Manager was rude and I am just shocked but not surprised because I just read a bunch of similar reviews. Cipriani step it up, don’t ruin the restaurant that’s good everywhere else the first month you open! Very disappointed.

while the food & the ambiance look exceptional, the customer service is sorely lacking. the maitre d made no attempt to take a requested reservation by dismissing me & saying they are booked out for the foreseeable future. I’m a local business owner & could not believe the aloof attitude. fortunately, I have other fine dining choices on camden including mr chow & the grill on the alley for great service, food & ambiance.
