Couldn’t order any of the drinks besides a mimosa or a hot coffee (including lattes) cause the barista wasn’t available. The latte was not warm. I got the “Wake Up Plate” and the potatoes were the only good/warm thing on it. Finally when I got up from the booth there was a piece of gum attached to my knee from under the table = absolutely disgusting.

Awful experience. First their website says that brunch is at the rooftop while they actually only serve it downstairs at the restaurant.
Server needed 10 minutes to bring menu since we set and water arrived tomorrow lol..
We left after 20 minutes of not being asked for drinks …

AVOID AVOID AVOID. The server was so concerned with asking the entire table to write him a good review and mention him by name that I had to get up and go to the bar to get the glass of water I asked him for. For some reason he completely ignored me, not even so much as glancing my way even though he fawned over everyone else. As a queer person I’m used to this kind of prejudice, but the server was pretty evidently gay too. Just plain weird.

As I sat at the bar to watch the band play, the same server stood directly in my eyeline, blocking the view, flirting with some guy in a suit sitting in front of me. This is not an exaggeration. The server was putting his hands on the guy and everything. Very uncomfortable. I’d have gotten better service in somebody’s living room.

This place left a bad taste in my mouth and felt like it was run by a bunch of bored 20 somethings who needed a hobby. Please don’t go here. Save yourself from being creeped out.

Came to the Sixty Hotel expecting Father's Day brunch on the roof deck only to find out that someone made a mistake in their OpenTable marketing -- there was no brunch on the roof. Luckily the team at Ella saved the day for our family and found us a spot even though they were fully booked. The live music with great service and food made fathers day special. Thank you from our family 🙏😊

Nice atmosphere for brunch, but food was okay, and service was slow.

They have an unlimited prosecco brunch option where you get three different juices to choose from to add to your unlimited prosecco. It was cute, fun, and came in little jars.

Food wise, the portion sizes are large and are just okay. I got a dish, which was a pile of soggy chips with two fried eggs on top. While the eggs and avocado were nice, the rest of the dish was pretty wet. Aside from that, the cornbread was good.

The restaurant was pretty empty, but still the service was really slow. We found out at the end that they were short staffed.

The place is nicely decorated, but I probably wouldn't come back.

There is a great band playing…. Like really great! The place has like a really nice old world vibe to it. It’s comfortable and relaxed. The food is decent. Something is not right with the kitchen/service though. Things don’t come out, drinks take forever…. When they come they are good, but if you come here, be prepared to chill and don’t get upset about waiting 10 minutes for that vodka tonic.

Very cute restaurant with live music. Came for brunch and had the cactus cocktail and the breakfast pizza- both were really good! Live music was nice. Sat at the bar & Ezra was great! Had good recommendations and was super friendly. This hotel also has a cute rooftop bar with great views of the city.

Horrible horrible horrible. We came here for Valentine’s Day. And they had a preset menu. So you would think the kitchen would have the orders in a normal amount of time. We got here at 9 for our reservation. Maybe seven tables were taken. It took us 45 minutes to get our first dish. And guess what. They skipped the first two courses. Straight to the entree. And they had the audacity to charge us the full price plus an extra $5 for the better salad (which we didn’t get). Stay away. I will never come back. Thank you for ruining what was supposed to be a beautiful night

Food is pretty good, service is some of the worst in Beverly Hills. That’s probably the reason they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill, even if you eat there alone... There are a lot of great restaurants in the area to choose from, the staff here isn’t up to par, at least not the times I’ve been there.
I’m a local resident and have been there twice now. First time for a late lunch, waited for 15 minutes until someone even came to the table (and no, it was not busy at all), then basically had to chase the server down for everything from ordering to getting a refill on water.

Decided to give it another chance and went for breakfast with my family (wife and 4 kids). There were only two other tables occupied - basically empty. The bartender told us to sit wherever we like, we did. After 10 minutes of not even seeing a server, let alone being approached by one, we decided to get up and go to Nate and Al’s for breakfast instead. It takes a while to mobilize 4 kids - about 5 minutes. In that time the bartender didn’t even look up at us, and someone who I assume is the server walked past us without looking at us either.

nobody said anything to us on the way out and so…well- we left.

Shame, we usually run a high bill and tip well…but I won’t be giving this place another chance. And I don’t see the reason you should either. Beverly Drive is loaded with awesome restaurants who actually want customers.

This place was amazing. Tried a ton of stuff in the menu that was recommended by the Chef, Brian. The highlights were definitely the mussels, bread, and this spicy pasta dish. The sauce from the mussels is truly one of the best tasting things I have ever eaten. Not only is the food amazing, the interior is really nice with lots of natural light and amazing service. There is also a rooftop bar that we enjoyed since we got there early. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in LA.

Absolute terrible and disappointing experience. I rarely leave reviews, however, we were treated very poorly immediately upon entering. We had a 8:00 reservation, yet they sat us down in the waiting area to DINE! We asked to sit at a table, yet due to “filming” we were not able. If you can’t seat us at a table at least cancel our reservation before we arrive. Terrible experience and will never go back.

Ella is a great brunch experience, the decor was impeccable and Sundays have a live band that begins around 12pm. The execution of the food was great and the cocktails are the quality you'd expect from an Umbrella Hospitality restaurant.
You may notice small inconveniences, however, such as there being no coffee menu, that have you requiring extra assistance from your server.

We were in L.A. for a wedding and we stayed at The Sixty Beverly Hills. We ate at The Ella everyday for breakfast and had a wonderful dinner. The service was excellent and we absolutely adored our hostess Aala. What an absolute doll!! She was very attentive to mom who has disabilities and made her feel totally at home. Will definitely be back again!!

Wow! Cocktails and Food were both amazing. The whole menu is stacked with great options. Definitely recommend starting with the POMPEII, served up with Maestro Dobel Diamante Tequila, golden beet, orange, lime, agave & a little heat. We also shared the Tomahawk steak....it was huge.

Located inside the Sixty Beverly Hills Hotel the cafe- restaurant is serving very flat food portion size reasonable but no flavour and the vegetables are frozen or just tired. The coffee is good but pricey the menu is dull and tiny. Pitty since the place is wide and airy there is good ambience the level of food doesn’t measure with the place or workers.

I was on the fence about leaving a review as I want to keep this treasure a secret, but I just had to share how wonderful everything was - 5 stars all around - great cocktails, excellent service, beautiful interior (gorgeous inviting California decor) would be great to take a client, a date, or a group of friends - the lemon pasta is insanely good as is the focaccia!
