Italian specialties are served in this vibrant, bustling storefront dining room.
The atmosphere was great! The food was bland and came out semi warm. The server was nice and very informative. The drinks were strong and good. I had the mussels which was an appetizer. We asked for extra spicy and the broth was good.
The lobster pasta wasn't that great. It was bland and was definitely missing something.
If you looking for a place with a nice vibe this is it but the food isn't that great.

I walked by this restaurant so many times but I never had any food here before. It seemed like one of those neighborhood’s favorite place and I’m so glad I tried it. More than anything, SPAGHETTI NATALE was amazing. It was so simple but packed with flavors and spaghetti was cooked perfectly. It was on the expensive side since the fish was $58, but pasta prices are not like that and I think I will go back a lot more for that pasta alone. It is definitely a classic old school italian place with great service.

What a mediocre meal. Can’t say any food was bad, just nothing great. To start off … a nice lady sat us, was a nice crowd - not too crowded. That’s when it got not great - our server was TERRIBLE - I mean TERRIBLE!!!!! Anyone can see most of my reviews are deserved 5 stars - Piccollo gets 3 star for food and ZERO stars for service!!! We sat and waited and waited and waited - again - not too crowded, but normal nice crowd. Finally waiter came and I was just a bad communicator and could care less. I asked for a taste of a 2 red wines - took forever - he came back with one (the most expensive with such a tiny taste) - then he took forever to come back. I asked for a taste of another - and he came back with a full glass - no taste. I was thirsty so I took it. But again - bad communication he did not listen at all. Then he asked if we want water - didn’t offer filtered house - just brought us a bottle and popped it open and poured - pretty presumptuous! And a fee he did not even ask about - profit bottle. Which I often order - but sure is nice, professional, and respectful when we are at least asked. We waited and waited and waited to place our order - got some bread - THANK GOD WE WERE STARVING!!! The bread was mediocre at best - what Beverly Hill restaurant doesn’t have awesome bread????!! As we ordered, asked about veal and he points to duck - I speak VERY clearly and veal means veal-not duck. Order in, chopped arugula salad, eggplant app, pasta, veal. Over an hour from the start our food came - no check ins from our waiter or anyone - was terrible service - TERRIBLE - we were invisible - and we’re a nice, kind, we’ll dresses polite couple who eats out a LOT! Salad - was ok, not bad, ok. Eggplant app -delicious!!!! Wine - “good”. Aperol - very good/normal. Pasta - homemade - good, not great, but pretty good. Veal - huge portion with old school potato’s and veggies - pretty bad, tasted like Lysol - like canned mushroom sauce - no salt or anything special on veggies - VERY OLD SCHOOL - *Chef - this is Beverly Hills - this meal should be amazing - but was far from it. In summary - food was “ok” - but far from good, service was HORRIBLE AND VERY SLOW. WAITER - please train this guy. Others - look up “service”. Price - very fair, assuming food would have been good. We’ll never get these 2 hours back. If you want a mediocre Italian place like you’d find in a strip mall - you got it. If you want delicious LA/Beverly Hills good and SERVICE - this is not the place.

Our family recently dined here for a holiday dinner. The entire experience was exquisite except for one minor yet annoying aspect which I will describe in a moment, but first the positives: Wonderful old world Italy atmosphere, professional top notch service from the maître d, waiter, and bussers. Lovely menu with extensive selections, interesting daily specials, and a comprehensive wine list. Each dish served to our party of five was perfectly prepared, superbly presented, and delicious. With all these superlatives, what could possibly be negative? The menu listed 'Bread' as an option for $1.50. With main course dishes $25 to $45 per person, it seemed like this establishment is nickel-and-diming the patrons by charging for bread. No one in our party asked for bread, yet as soon as we placed our main course orders, the busser showed up with one loaf of bread and oil and vinegar for dipping. So it seems like anyone that dines here automatically receives bread, in our case about 1 1/2 slices per person, and sure enough the final bill included an extra $7.50 for bread that we never asked for. We spent $300, tipped 20%+ (to a well deserved team), and felt a bit fleeced out of an additional $7.50. Not a game changer, but enough of an irritation to prevent me from posting what would otherwise be a five star review.

Piccolo is a wonderful little place in Beverly Hills. It has been around awhile and is just adorable. It has this lovely red awing at the entrance. The place is kept super clean. The service is so friendly and warm. They know the menu and wine list well and may suggest something you have never had. You will love them. It can get crowded so make a reservation. They also do delivery and take away. We have been several times and I have forgotten to review.
The seating is so comfortable and I love white tablecloths with a wee candle.
Try their Cappelletti in Brodo, which has prosciutto stuffed tortellini, and parmesan on chicken broth. Their Melanzane Alla Parmigiana is amazing. It is
baked eggplant filled with ricotta, tomato, basil and mozzarella cheese. Every bite is great. We also love their Zuppetta di Cozze e Vongole. This is my grandson's favorite. It comes with steamed mussels and clams in a light spicy tomato sauce.
They have so many handmade pastas you will have to come back again and again. Among others they have capellini, rigatoni, gnocchi, fettuccine, penne, fusilli, spaghetti, linguine, and tagliatelle and all of them are made by hand. The sauce you can pick is endless from Aglio e Olio to Polpettine.
For your mains their Milanese di Vitello which is a breaded and pounded rack of veal, arugula, and chopped tomato is a favorite as well as their Filetto al Pepe Verde cooked to perfection and always as ordered. It is the best filet mignon all with a green pepper corn sauce, spinach and roasted potato.
You must have their lemon meringue pie if you did no eat too much pasta. If you want they can make it to go.
Have the best time.

Mario and Agustine treat their customers like family! The restaurant is lucky to have them behind the bar. Cheers!

Let’s just start with the prices and be realistic here, that is some expensive pasta and maybe it is acceptable since it’s .. Beverly Hills. Salads were very nice and interesting. Great wine selection. We sat at the patio which was fun but perhaps would be a different dining experience if sat inside. The muscles very tasty. We’ve had many many different meals in greater LA, and usually were blown away by the flavours, even for a simple dish. Here we were left underwhelmed…something was missing 🤷🏻♂️ the flavours just didn’t come through in our meals. Based on some of these reviews this is the place to be for pasta…I’m not so sure.

Went mid-week, early afternoon. Was not impressed by the food. The Piccolo Paradiso($21) was overdressed, in soggy clumps. The lamb chops($45)were really disappointing. Not sure if it was the preparation, freshness, or what. The spicy seafood pasta was ok, but over-spiced. The Italian bottled water we received was labeled "alkaline", and must be an acquired taste...
Interestingly, we were served 3 tiny slices of bread, and we were charged for 2 servings($1.50 each serving)?
We certainly did not "get what you pay for". They had only one server, and he did not check on us after the food was delivered, and it was very difficult to obtain our check.

Looked great from the outside. On the inside it was so chilly most people still wore their coats. The wall seating is leather but it's literally a piece of wood back there. Very uncomfortable. The lasagnette pesto was almost without any texture and more of an overly soft paste. For the price you pay, there must be better places to eat.

Excellent food and service; I understand this restaurant is owned by the same owner as Panzanella's in Sherman Oaks, which is partly responsible for the high ratings. The atmosphere wasn't perfect, we sat outside and every so often, we could smell the aroma of burnt Marijuana, which, sorry to say, doesn't go so well with the outstanding food. And then there was the loud noise of Beverly Hills hot rods drag racing down Beverly Drive.... Next time, we may try to find an inside table, but, obviously, these detractors were not the fault of our wonderful hosts! You must try this awesome restaurant for yourselves!!!

Minus: we were seated in front of the door and people going in and out kept us freezing. Our waiter was changed right after we ordered without advising us so we had to keep asking different people for parts of our order. However, they were all accommodating. Sunday night June 6th
Worst service I’ve ever encountered. The place was recommended to us by the concierge at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel a couple of blocks away where we were staying; they made the reservations for us.
We had no idea what we were in for.
Indifferent, blah hostess seated us. Indifferent, aloof water than continued that lead. Couple things of note; he got in a fight with another server over who was going to finally bring a Diet Coke after we’d been waiting over 10 minutes for it. When the pasta arrived, grated cheese was requested and they never brought it. Once the meal was done I asked the waiter why he never brought it— he did not have an answer so I asked to speak with an owner or a manager. He said he was the manager.
When I continued to let him know I needed to speak with an owner or manager he then went and got the rude Hostess and brought her over to me as if she was going to do anything.
The slow, neglectful service could’ve been overlooked if they were at least somewhat friendly and welcoming.
This place is horrible, spend your money somewhere where they they are happy to have you. And if you don’t believe this review scroll through and read the others that say basically the same thing.

We made reservations for 05/22 at 9:15pm. When we arrived the hostess did not great us as they usually do. She asked if we had reservations and we answered with name and number of guest (Terrell +3). She asked us a second time appearing skeptical about us actually having reservations.. We were finally seated. Our server greeted us and brought us water 25 minutes after being seated. He then got distracted with customers he appeared to know personally based of how he greeted them. 30 min later we had to ask our server “if there was any bread for the table”. At the same time the table next to us (Seemingly Friends) had been served drinks, bread, and their entree. When our server finally brought our bread, we quickly placed our order. Our food arrived at 10:30pm and it was lukewarm/cold as if it had been sitting for a while. The plates weren’t hot at all and I then asked the gentlemen who dropped of our plate to call the supervisor/manager over. When the supervisor/manager arrived he did not greed us or asked us how could he assist us instead he just stood there. We attempted to explain how horrible the service had been since we arrived but all he heard us say was our food was cold and took back our plates.
Our plates were returned after being taken for 10 minutes the food was the same but the plate was hot. At this point we were doing our best to make the best out of our horrible experience. No one checked back on us, not the supervisor, not our waiter. I could understand if it was a busy night but it was not! We saw our waiter at the end when he handed us the check. My friends and I are extremely disappointed with this Resturant’s lack of service. The least we would have expected from the manager or whomever to come back to our table and check-in but NOPE! It seemed like everyone avoided us the rest of the night. There were no apologies or an adjustment on our check! NOTHING! Save your money and go somewhere else with better service

If you feel you got an extra money to spend even don’t go there if the food was for free I would think I might eat it to this point. Spending over 30 bucks is not worth this restaurant at all. Sorry but you gotta fix your food I thought the restaurant is good but unfortunately it wasn’t that great experience.

What a fantastic restaurant! The mood, the Italian accent among the wait staff, the wine and the dessert...they were all magnificent! I highly recommend the prosciutto and burrata appetizer! The burrata was as expected on the outside, but really soft and flavorful on the inside! The prosciutto was perfect! No fatty parts - just the good stuff! Two nights in a row I asked for a wine recommendation, different wines each night, both were fantastic! The carbonara pasta dish was good, but I have had better. The steak tartare was good, but again I've had better. The texture was a little off in my opinion. Yet I still highly recommend this restaurant. The dessert both nights was wonderful! The chocolate gelato is amazing! So was the chocolate soffritto! I suggest you check it out!!

Piccolo Paradiso is the old school Italian place you are always looking for. A wide variety of dishes with the freshest ingredients. So much more than a red sauce place. Intriguing large salads with simple and light dressings. Fresh pasta, veal, sausage it’s all here and all authentic.

We arrived initially to celebrate a work accomplishment and chose piccolo paradiso. While eating the carbonara pasta we ordered, there was a piece of metal brush from the dish cleaner inside the pasta and there was only little pasta left. Normally i wouldn’t make it a fuss. HOWEVER EHEN THE MANAGER CAME BY THE TABLE HE SAID: this happens once or twice a year and this kind of things happen. When they wash the pot it might get stuck in the screw, and it does happen. Took a while for him to offer that single pasta for compensation. But that’s not what I was looking for. The professionalism for such high rank restaurants should be taken more seriously. THIS is the most basic general restaurant policy, along with professional attitude. After this recommend not coming here after all. I have been to too many Italian restaurants in LA; look elsewhere for a better experience, quality and service.

This was my last restaurant meal before the LA outdoor dining shutdown and it was ok but not memorable. Food was good, not great. Still trying to figure out why the gluten-free spaghetti was broken/cut in half. The waiter checked with the chef who said that's what happens "with the heat". It hasn't been hot in LA for a while, which means they likely have had it for months and don't store it properly. No need to come back.

I visited with my daughter.
It's a very small restaurant, crowded with the tables very close to each other. You can barely squeeze through.
Food was tasty. We liked it.
After getting your dish service was lacking.
No one ever asked if I would like to have a other glass of wine. Finally someone asked, I said ok, but the wine never arrived.
My daughter asked for extra bread, that seemed to never arrive. So she asked for the second time and she was able get the bread.
After are dinner plates were removed, no one asked if we would like to have a dessert, so when finally someone did, we said no, we just want the check. We were just tired of sitting around and waiting for any attention.
Waiter's are running around a lot, but everything seems like very chaotic.
Costumer service should be definitely better.

I will not recommend this restuarant at all . Rude employees here. I parked in front of the place temporarily here to go to Jimmy Jones so my girlfriend can let her son know we are here. When I came back to the car, one of employees lean against the car and start yelling at us about parking the car there. We say we are sorry and he continue yelling at us. We end up in shouting match. He still yell at us when we left.

A warm family feeling neighborhood joint. It's as if your uncle had a restaurant and invited you for dinner. Cute, charming, intimate restaurant, great service, delicious Italian food. Branzino was delicious and the pork chop was wonderful. The dessert was great. You are seated close to your fellow diners so not a place for private conversations. Really enjoyable

Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in LA. Their lasagna is fantastic, but their amazing Dover Sole makes choosing one dish to eat difficult. You can’t go wrong here. The service is unbelievable. Definitely worth trying.

I just love this place.
Compared to other Italian Restaurant in Beverly Hills is more quiet and cozy. Not a lot of tourists but mostly locals.
Pasta is always an excellent choice here ( I love their Gnocchi dish), but everything else on the menu is just as good.
Good selection of wine and great service too.

This restaurant is a gem. Found it as I was looking for a restaurant close to the Beverly Hills Marriott. It's within a mile distance. Atmosphere is charming, wait staff, hostess, manager were very helpful, especially as my mom needs extra assistance. The food was delicious! My margherita was nice and strong but also with great proportions! We had the calamari appetizer. My mom and I split the cesaer salad and linguini con aragosta e granchio. My husband had Spaghetti Natale. Bread came out piping hot with olive oil to drizzle. First time my husband has been excited to drink a cup of coffee that smelled delicious as it arrived at the table. This is saying something because he is very picky about his coffee and actually commented on how good it smelled and tasted! Valet parking after 6pm! We will be back!
