Hummus is to die for. Had the seasonal seabass special and schnitzel, plus the strawberry and blackberry cocktail. Everything was top notch. Very friendly service. Nice ambiance. Great patio; the hedges make it feel like you're in a secluded park. If you're staying at the adjacent Sonder Crescent Hotel it's a bonus being close to this quaint 5-star restaurant. For fine-dining quality food I found the prices totally reasonable! The portions were also very filling.

This is a hard review to write. Because things were mixed. Service was excellent. Some food like spicy olives were great. Loved the hummus. They grilled (make sure you odder this grilled) my Israeli bagel, which is great. However they over cooked my eggs, orange juice is warm (maybe offer some ice), my coffee was warm, not hot. They had 2 attempts, first had yolk, second a little better. over medium is runny but silky yolk.

Friendly Staff, Mediterranean Dining in an elegant hide away right in the heart of Beverly Hills. City Hall is right across the street, the next street over on Brighton to the West is Cannon. The entry is actually off Brighton through a small nondescript entry, up a short stairway to the tiny boutique hotel lobby, then to the right behind the lobby and down another short stairway (4-5steps) into the spacious NUA Restaurant/lounge.

There is public and wheelchair access from 403 Crescent Dr directly into the dining room too.

The food is reasonably priced especially for the area and quality! The outdoor patio is surrounded by a high hedge keeping the sound level low, the indoor area surprisingly elegant.

It’s ideal for that discreet business meeting, afternoon coffee with friends and associates, or romantic dining.

Everything is a 10/10 about this place. Me and my family are regular guests at this restaurant. Of course in addition to the exceptional food and yeah - the hummus to die for - their staff is really amazing. They are super nice people and very warm.

We hosted a private event on 10/19 and the team at NUA went above and beyond to take a great care of all our guests.

I would 100% recommend them for a perfect date night, family brunches and even private events!

Great job Team NUA ❤️👏

Great experience. We arrived right after the kitchen closed and they were nice enough to do a couple quick items for us. Food was excellent and very large portions. Different, and exotic flavors profiles that all worked together. Ines our server was outstanding and have no problem recommending to all.

Don’t come here. The place is racist. We (myself a POC) asked to be moved to another table with four chairs (because there was a loud party next to us) and the waiter said “no that table is reserved for four people”. Then a white (2 person) couple came in and took the table with four chairs that we asked for. Interesting why we weren’t seated there. Ruined the whole night. Really disappointed. They sat the POC in the corner in a dark lit spot 🤷🏾‍♀️

Reconciling with my Reflection (at Nua)

You know when you go to the bathroom at a restaurant and the lighting is five shades brighter than it was at the table and you see yourself in the mirror and think, “Oh Shit, is this what I look like?”
And then, of course, you leave the bathroom with 20% less confidence than you had at the table having just seen your flaws illuminated by very inconsiderate lighting—or is that just me?

Screw bright lights. I want to GLOW.

The bathroom at Nua has a floor lamp next to the toilet—a feature perhaps more appropriate for a reading parlor, not a public restroom, but I have to say, it works.

The vanity mirror is flanked by sconces that emit a candlelight hue and the reflection of the wallpaper’s flying zebras is a perfect backdrop for conjuring a bolder version of self.

Every time I leave that bathroom, I walk out thinking,
“I am fly as hell.”

Nua is a charming contemporary restaurant in the heart of Beverly Hills. I loved how the dining area and patio were tucked away from the street and sidewalk. More importantly, the meal I had was exceptional, I had the Schnitzel Sandwich and I must say it was quite yummy! My waitress however was just okay, but overall was impressed and will probably return at least one more time!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nua Beverly Hills for brunch, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and always ready with a friendly smile.

The atmosphere at Nua is a blend of chic and cozy, with beautiful art that adds a vibrant touch to the space. It’s the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable brunch.

The food was a standout highlight. The hummus was silky smooth and incredibly flavorful, a perfect start to the meal. The chicken schnitzel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, accompanied by delicious Israeli sides that complemented the dish perfectly. Their cocktails were also a delight, with inventive flavors that added a refreshing twist to our meal.

Overall, Nua Beverly Hills offers a memorable brunch experience with excellent food, creative cocktails, and outstanding service. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful meal in a stylish and welcoming setting.

The service we received from our server, Kai, and manager, Sierra, was nothing short of exceptional. Kai was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and offering insightful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. His attention to detail and warm, welcoming demeanor made us feel truly valued as guests. Sierra, the manager, further elevated our evening with her professional yet personable approach, checking in to ensure everything was to our liking and going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Their combined efforts created a seamless and memorable dining experience that perfectly complemented the exquisite food.

As a chef with a deep appreciation for flavor and technique, I was thoroughly impressed with the menu served today at NUA.

The Eggplant Baba Ghanoush was a revelation—its unexpected sweetness from the date syrup harmonized beautifully with the earthy notes of tomato, scallions, pickled onions, and tahini, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. The Hummus is in a league of its own, with a unique aeration that gives it a light, fluffy texture—truly unlike anything I’ve experienced before.

The Seasonal Rainbow Beet Salad was a standout, dressed to perfection with a bright, summery profile. The roasted beets paired exquisitely with ripe cherry tomatoes, crisp Persian cucumbers, and leafy organic greens, making every bite a celebration of fresh, vibrant flavors.

The Borekas took a delightful twist on tradition, with a crispy, flaky pastry dough studded with black and white sesame seeds, elevated by an electric chili pesto that invigorated the entire dish.

The Schnitzel was another triumph—a tender, brined chicken breast, delicately breaded and served with ripe tomatoes, pickles, and a generous spread of that unforgettable hummus, all nestled between slices of traditional challah bread.

And to finish, the Halavah Ice Cream Parfait was simply superb, with the rich, nutty tahini and sweet date syrup rounding off the meal in the most indulgent way.

This menu is a true testament to the art of Israeli classics as each dish carefully crafted with flavor, texture, and presentation in mind.

We will be back!

Located in the Sonder hotel sits this cute, open-air outdoor patio spot. Came during the day time so it was very bright and enjoyable to dine at. The servers were super kind and helpful. The food came out pretty quickly. Fries are always a good starter. The hummus was fire, but you might need another pita to finish it. The branzino was perfectly seared with the grilled veggies. The ribeye was okay, we got it medium rare, but I feel like it was kind of cold. All the cocktails were bomb, ask if it's too sweet as they can switch out some ingredients or add less sweetener.

I recently hosted a daytime event at NUA, and I can't praise this restaurant enough!

Food: The set menu was beyond amazing, offering a delightful variety of flavors. The Eggplant dip is a standout with its unique sweetness, and the Shakshuka is hands down the best I've ever had. The Jerusalem bagel and Limonana drink complemented the meal perfectly.

Service: Contrary to some reviews, I experienced impeccable service. The staff, led by the fantastic manager Sierra, was not only friendly but also highly professional. Special shoutout to Maggie, our server, for her warmth. Chef Yoav took the time to chat with us, adding a personal touch to the experience.

Atmosphere: NUA is a haven of beauty with its abundance of greenery, flowers, and chic aesthetic. The ambiance is unparalleled, making it a perfect setting for any occasion.

I am definitely planning to revisit and, hopefully, organize more events at NUA. A big thank you to the entire team at NUA for making my event memorable!

The place is very nice except I had horrible service. My business partner and I placed our order. He had an appetizer and I ordered a meal. She brings out his appetizer shortly. She comes 10 minutes later and told me the kitchen was closed. She had a horrible attitude about it, wasn’t apologetic or communicated. She clearly didn’t put in my order in time. She could have let me know when we ordered there wasn’t going to be time, or when she brought the appetizer. Why make me wait 20 minutes just to tell me the kitchen was closed? Worst service and server I’ve had.

Good food, nothing amazing though and we ordered all the suggested specialties. The skewered chicken was good but $33 for a couple of thighs is overpriced. The eggplant shareable dish is the one you want to get, the hummus with the thick bread they offer isn’t that flavorful and hard to swallow. Based on reservations the place should be full but it wasn’t. Overall, you are paying for the cute garden atmosphere and good service but if you eat a lot of Mediterranean food, you can find better for cheaper.

It was like little meatballs cooked in pita. The green sauce was spicy and flavorful. The shakshuka was maybe one of the best I've ever had and the merguez was a perfect addition. Service was great, back patio ambiance was lovely.

This totally unexpected place (a former hotel, elderly residence) has all of the exuberance and the smarts and the dedication that I always equate with Tel Aviv. It is here, and so much more. Executive Chef-partner, Yoav Schverd seems to effortlessly prepare full-bodied dishes bring the best of new Mediterranean cuisine, almost all of it served at room temperature as is the custom. He greets and takes time with guests on top of this. The hotel may be the jet setter’s landing place when in town. Still, the buzz of of families and diners of all ages sharing communal tables lasts well after sundown at the special dinners to greet the Sabbath and during the lunch and dinner service as well.

Quite disappointed by the quality of the food - the hummus was tasty but the chicken skewer was quite bland, overlooked on the outside and a bit chewy. The restaurant is nice and our waitress was friendly but I can’t understand the 5 star reviews for the food… I hope they can find a way to improve.

Good kebab shop food but not a real restaurant, sorry. And for that, the prices are unjustified.

This place was horrible! Flys everywhere and even in my orange drink. The food was disgusting the shipud was so uncooked as you see in the picture. When we first walked it nobody was there until we sat ourselves. Then a lady came to us and told us we can’t sit here because it’s reserved we says that’s fine and stood up and then we asked her to be seated inside because it was cold outside and she gave us a really dirty look. Then said “never mind you can sit there” so we went back to the same seats. All the time we were there no one came in so it’s obviously not reserved as she said. The food was so overpriced for the quality. The food was 200$ for 4 dishes 1 side and 3 drinks which one had a dead fly in it. At the end when we were paying we gave our server which was the only one who was nice there, tax exemption she went to ask her manager the lady with the dirty looks, about it. And that same lady looked like she say a dead body. She was so mad about that for literally no reason. Overall the place is disgusting and horrible!! I would never come here again and so should you.

A perfect hideaway in Beverly Hills tucked inside a boutique hotel. This isrealie inspired cuisine will leave you satisfied and coming back again. We had the chicken on a skewer that was flavorful and delicious. The hummus was exceptional with the warm pita bread. And a vegetable dish was great. Highly recommended as a private romantic getaway spot!

Visited Beverly Hill sign and saw this restaurant. Very surprised with the taste!!! Got roasted salmon, cauliflower, humus and a wrap. The first three tasted amazing. Best Mediterranean food I had so far.
