Woman working the counter with red hair was so rude out of no where. I was picking up an order and she ignored me for several minutes because she had AirPods in. I asked about the order and she said it would be 15 minutes after 10min I checked in to see if they needed more time still and she snapped back before I could finish the sentence “I SAID IT WOULD BE 15 MINUTES” the other customers inside all looked up. I responded ok I just wanted to check since you said that 10 minutes ago. Another employee then said it would be 15 more minutes. I could care less about waiting but that woman was so rude. Get better FOH staff

Tastiest pizza I've had on the West Coast (living here since 2010)! Those of us from the Mid-Atlantic get that craving for NY style pizza and LA is lacking most of the time, in most areas, in most price points, etc. Stopped in at Joe's today on a whim while doing errands in the area and was NOT disappointed! Seriously tasty pizza and a nice assortment of beverage options. The staff were friendly. I tried the classic cheese and the white pizza and will definitely be back soon to try more varieties! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

I do like how they do have vegan cheese. What I don’t like that I have to buy a whole pie to get a vegan cheese pizza. That was disappointing. Even though I know it may not be a popular dish. The slices are a good enjoyable size. Unless it’s a group of you that want vegan pizza this is not a solo spot to grab a slice and go.

Bare bone menu with the things you need most. Nothing cute about this pizza joint, just go in there and feel the vibe. You wanna relive the time you hit Joes in NYC at midnight to get your second wind to the next bar. Only thing is it’s too new and clean to be completely legit. The walls don’t have enough history to date but this place isn’t going away anytime soon, you see?

If you’re in the Beverly Hills are and you’re in the mood for a New York style pizza. This is definitely the pizza place for you to visit with family and friends or by yourself. Hand tossed, fresh ingredients love the flavors. They got plenty of options for the pizzas. Cheese only or vegetable or meat lovers.vegan,gluten-free, supreme, bbq chicken,Sicilian, Grandma. They got additional toppings for $3 xtra. They also got different options for the calzones original ,Italian and meat lovers. They also got salads Italian, Caesar and antipasto. The also got Heros chicken parmigiana, meatballs parmigiana, veggie, sausage and pepper, and one of my favorite eggplant parmigiana. If you’re in the mood for pasta they got cheese ravioli, pasta primavera and spaghetti or penne marinara. They sell garlic knots and for dessert cannoli. They got fountain drinks can sodas, water,Snapple, Red Bull,San pellegrino, Mexican coke bottles and Mexican Fanta bottles. I highly recommend this pizza place for you to visit with family and friends or by yourself you won’t be disappointed.

Nice, quaint spot in Beverly Hills. I like the outdoor and indoor seating and the shop owners / employees are soo nice and sweet, super respectful. A slice is around $4.95 and they’re really big. It’s your typical big oven warmed pizza joint; they warm it up for you if you get the slice but I think if you buy it fresh it probably would taste better than getting the slice. Highly recommend coming to Joe’s pizza if you’re looking for a fast dinner!

Alright. Look, Joe's Pizza in general... is an original New York City Establishment started by a Sicilian immigrant called Joe. So, to see Joe's make it to this point where there are now 6 locations in Los Angeles is pretty serious. So keep that in mind, the point of Joe's is not for it to be the best Pizza you ever had in your life. It will be good, you may believe it is really good, great, amazing and you might even believe it is the best Pizza you ever had in your life. But, if you know a thing or two about PIzza and have been around the block... you know what Joe's Pizza is.

Joe's Pizza is a standard bearer. It is an example of how a standard, straight up, no nonsense New York City Pizza Pie is like. Now that this established... if you are not familiar with New York Pizza in a way where you can tell the difference between it and other types of Pizza, you may not understand why Joe's is so good. This is Pizza for people who understand Pizza and want their Pizza well-balanced, delicious and with the "correct" crust and cheese and sauce to give you that example.

Now, are they the best New York Style Pizza in Los Angeles? No. Prime Pizza is the best New York Style Pizza in Los Angeles because it is a newer places that had time to learn from the OGs of New York Style PIzza that are here with us now such as Joe's PIzza, Prince Street PIzza and Village Pizza. I have been to New York and Italy and Chicago for that matter. Not only that but I tried 101 San Francisco Pizzas and became a Top P Reviewer. So, trust me. Joe's... is the Grandfather, okay? Prince Street is the Son or brother. Prime Pizza is the Grandson. Understand?

Another thing about Joe's Pizza, they have the reverse situation of Prince Street Pizza. Prince Street Pizza's Square Sicilian is their strength. Round NY Pie, their weakness. Joe's strength is the Round Pie all day. Sicilian is decent but it pales in comparison to their Round Pie. Their Sicilian is however better than Prince Street's Round. Here is the Ranking for Best Pizza only involving Joe's, Prime and Prince from best to worst

1. Prime Pizza Round, 8.1
2. Joe's Pizza Round, 7.9
3. Prime Pizza Sicilian, 7.8
4. Prince Street Sicilian, 7.6
5. Joe's Sicilian, 6.9
6. Prince Street Round, 6.4

New Yorkers like it kept real, right? Alright. Well, there you go. Keeping it real. Joe's should be proud of Prime Pizza if you ask me but who knows. Anyway. You want the most clean cut representation of New York Style Pizza in Los Angeles? Joe's is it, Jack. It's what Tony's is the San Francisco. Understand? Or not?

Another thing, the plastic wheel thing being lodged into the Sicilian Slice (see pics) and not used on the Full Round Pie felt both hilarious, troll-esque and a bit like a hate crime all at once. I’ll allow it. By it, I mean, the moderate abuse on the side of New York Style Pizza. However, Joe's... come on man, the Top P Reviewer graces you and you give the Top P Reviewer this? Look at the weird hole in the picture. Thousands will see you lodged the plastic wheel thing into a single Sicilian slice but did not use it on the full round pie. Why, Joe's? You filthy animals!

Use my scale to help you decide between the places and you'll see I am right give or take. You might change my 3 and 4 around but otherwise you'll likely agree.

Here is my proposal for Joe’s new ad campaign and rebranding. A little bit of a jingle if you will:

“Joe’s.

We’re Really Good New York Pizza.
However, Prime Pizza is Simply Better
At Both Styles of PIzza
We Provide.

At Both Styles of Pizza
We Provide.

New York Style or Sicilian
It really doesn't matter
Even though our Pies are good
Prime Pizza is Objectively
Better in Every
Conceivable Way

At Both Styles of Pizza
We Provide.

Joe’s Pizza.
Since 1978."

Seeing as how this place has nothing to do with NYC’s Joe’s Pizza, I’m impressed that they somehow reverse engineered the extract look and flavor of the original Joe’s. It’s pretty much identical and tastes amazing. The real thing in LA (make sure to stick to plain cheese pizza).

Joe’s is a solid pizza spot if you like a thinner crust pizza. They also offer a Sicilian, but I haven’t tried even though it looked great! Overall the pizza was good. Nice crunch on the outer crust and the right amount of sauce for me (medium sauce, not dry and not too much so it’s soggy). I would prefer a bit more of a stable bottom crust but the pizzas are giant so I get why it was a little droopy ;) The garlic knots are delicious! Soft, fresh and plenty of fresh garlic! We also had the fresh mozzarella pizza and it wasn’t my favorite. The cheese was a bit scarce even for a margarita style pizza, so it was mostly sauce and crust. All in all a good meal and with their huge pizzas, you definitely will have pizza for tomorrow.

I don't know what happened. It might have been an off night. The woman at the counter used ungloved hands to take money then prepare pepperoni's on my pizza slice.
A tray of dough crashed to the floor. She picked up some of the spilled pieces and did not throw them away.
Now to my pizza. The crust was soggy and wet. I could not pick it up without the toppings rolling off... The onions were cold; piled on in a heap after baking. The sauce was thin and tasteless.

Worst pizza I've ever had. I took my husband to this place today to celebrate his birthday because he is a pizza lover, but it turned out to be a disaster. It totally spoiled our celebration and we left this place extremely disappointed. We usually finish an extra large pie just by ourselves, but we couldn't finish even 2 slices of this so called "pizza". The sauce got too dried, the cheese was too cold and the bread was crispy, it felt like eating a sandwich not a pizza. I typically never post bad reviews, but this one got to my nerve. It was that bad. Don't get carried away by the celeb pics on the wall, it doesn't mean nothing. A true pizza maker would trust his pizza and not the celeb pics on the wall.
