I recently dined at California Kitchen Pizza, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The menu offers a great variety of pizzas, all with a unique twist that you won't find at your typical pizzeria.

I tried the BBQ Chicken Pizza, and it was fantastic. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce had just the right amount of tang, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The combination of flavors was spot on. My friend ordered the Margherita Pizza, which was equally delicious with a beautifully balanced tomato sauce and fresh basil.

The service was friendly and attentive, although the wait time was a bit longer than expected, especially for a weekday evening. However, the quality of the food made up for it. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the quality and creativity of the dishes, it's worth it.

Overall, California Kitchen Pizza is a great spot if you're looking for something beyond the usual pizza fare. I'll definitely be back to try more of their innovative pizzas!

First time at California Pizza Kitchen and it did not disappoint. We tried the Sedona Tortilla soup and Tomato Basil Bisque but the Sedona was overall better. The tomato soup taste wasn't the best. Had the Hawaiian pizza, which had big chunks of pineapple and ham on it, still very good and the wild mushroom pizza. Had an old fashioned as a drink and the strawberry lime margarita. Great experience. Would definitely revisit this place

Being a So Cal kid, I miss CPK where I live. I used to love their chicken BBQ pizza. The pizza did not disappoint. It's still good. Service was friendly and really enjoyed introducing and making a fan out of a newbie.

Food was not like other cpk stores we have been to. Very mediocre. Service was ok, they seem to be trying but know the place isn't up to par. We weren't even offered bread. Stopped in because it's somewhere we can usually all get something we are happy with, unfortunately not at this location. They didn't even have fountain soda just a few types of canned.

Edit: Your server informed me for over 40 minutes that my lettuce wrap was on its way. I observed the party next to me order their pizzas, get their pizzas, and finish their pizzas. When I again asked to confirm the status of the lettuce wrap after 40 minutes, it was not ready so I asked to cancel it and get my check for the sides that I ate. It would have been nothing if your server simply communicated that the food was late instead of continuing to lie/mislead about its status. She couldn't even bother to come back with the check and I ended up having to ask for help from one of the pizza chefs for the check. The utter incompetence from the staff that night was appalling.

Edit #2: I gave this location another shot because I love CPK. There is clearly an Asian tax. If you are Asian, definitely expect inferior, nonexistent service.

Upon reviewing other 1 star reviews, it seems clear that your staff doesn't like serving people of color. I hope this restaurant gets investigated for its practices.

Not actual pizza? Put a pretty decent chain restaurant with healthy-ish options. I had a Korean BBQ pizza that tasted like they dumped a whole bottle of karo syrup on it (EDIT: I can't figure out how to respond to CPK's reply below but let me just say that I didn't say I didn't like the pizza)

We ate here on Halloween night at 10:08pm. So the food is okay it came and after few minutes our table has a cockroach 🪳 under our food. We don’t know if from the pizza when they serve or maybe is on our table. Anyway we don’t tell them there’s a cockroach cause our Server is away I think she in the kitchen and some of the stuff are cleaning and back and fort to the kitchen so we just don’t bother them cause there busy cause they closing aswell. and also we killed the cockroach 🪳 so finished and leave. After 4 days I saw my credit that I was over charge. Good thing I have my copy of the receipt 🧾 so they over charge me for there tip. We gave a standard tip even they don’t serve as well. But she decided to put her own amount of tip without of my authority. That’s a fraud. I never ever came back here again I tried to call them any times but no once answered. and I reported this to my credit card. I wish I got a video or picture of that cockroach 🪳 so they can close the store and investigate. And also the fraud I want the server name maggy be fired due the fraud transaction.

I love that they have pizza with cauliflower crust. It's low in calories and supposedly healthier than regular crust. And it tastes just as good. I became a member of their rewards program and they offer great discounts and rewards all the time. A casual place that has terrific salads and nice pastas and excellent pizzas. Hawaiian and barbecue chicken are my faves. I do wish they would out lettuce cups back on their appetizer menu. They were really good- but they've discontinued them.

Great place to take the kids. Lots to keep them occupied while you finish your food, too. Surprisingly good food for a CPK. The portions are about 2/3 of the size they were pre-pandemic.

The pizza is good but its smaller than regular pizza so I can eat a whole pizza by myself here but I can't do that with a regular pizza. I rather just wait for the discount special promotions that the big chain restaurants periodically have , their pizzas are pretty good And if you take advantage of their special promptions then you get a lot bigger Bang for your buck.

My husband and I stopped by coming from the doctor at Cedar Sinai for his Follow up. We were looking for a Pizza joint near me and California Pizza Kitchen came up and we went straight to it. I ordered the soup Tortilla and Turkey sandwich my husband got just sandwich. Now I didn't know how the soup was going to be so l couldn't wait to see it😝🥺 I was disappointed because it was this Thick brown looking stuff, I was looking for soup Clear and looking the way it should taste instead l got this Paste tasting l don't know what that was. The turkey sandwich was ok but the too much filling with all that jazz on it l couldn't enjoy it. I saw all what was on it once l got it home too much stuff apples in a sandwich never experienced that before, l guess I'm old fashion when it comes to a good old turkey sandwich. Our waitress was amazing very attentive to our needs. Maybe one day we'll Try the Pizza on our next visit seems like that's what they're Famous for!

The service is very slow here and I find myself calling the waiter several times for things they are missing or drinks that need to be refilled. The bread for the burger was extremely stale, and the bread for the sandwiches is so crunchy it destroys the top of your mouth. I really recommend the Avocado Club Egg Rolls and honestly I like most of their pizzas, especially The Works, Barbeque Chicken and the Carne Asada Pizza.

3rd time in 3 months I've had to eat pizza from this CPK because a family member orders it- all 3 times the pizza has been undercooked to the point where there are cheese shreds under the top layer and the middle of the pizza's crust is soggy creating a completely flaccid slice.

I'd have preferred frozen pizza each time and paid 1/4 the price. Definitely would never choose to eat here.

CPK should know better! the waiter demeanor was inappropriate rude and mean no matter how nice we treated him my wife my little girl was extremely polite the service wasn't on his best side. beyond that my daughter food served cold and dry my wife served with different dish she didn't ordered and I was left to eat dry pasta no sauce which I asked for it but never got it I had to eat my pasta with the spoon.
We are staying at hotel across the street due to house painting and after long day of work my wife my daughter after school meet me to have a relaxing family dinner it turns out to be a nightmare .

Great food. Constant. Great value. Generous portions. At this particular location, there is only street parking. Within a block there are affordable city parking. I would have given more stars, but our phone order had magically disappeared and we had to wait another half hour for them to start a new one. It gets very busy and the service is unfortunately slow. But if you are not in a hurry, the food is great. Something to please all diet restrictions on the menu.

We were tired of junkfood and wanted a place that served pizza and bowls more like what we would see in Europe - And honestly I really feel that California Kitchen lived up to that to a decent degree ❤️🍕🥗 The food came quick and there wad more than enough for the two of us, also it tasted really well and looked great. Overall a lovely culinary experience if you expect a quick lunch or dinner that isnt too expensive and still tastes of many flavours 💪

Definitely the best pizza I had in my 2 weeks of holiday in LA and I would visit again if I came back 🤗

Have literally been sitting at our table for 16 minutes and someone at this very moment dropped bread and said “hi” AFTER I went to a manager and complained. There were two, 3 tops sat AFTER us, and we are watching them have drinks, cocktails and water before us. I verbatim asked the manager was this a minority issue (we are black) that we haven’t received service and her answer was no, we’re “short staffed” in the most nonchalant way possible. We are clearly the only black people in the building, and although we were sat BEFORE all the other tables we had to complain just to receive “service” This is sad. I am a bartender down the street and this is ridiculous. If I wasn’t so exhausted and starving I would have just left. We were literally ignored, while EVERYONE else received service. Unbelievable.

Friendly service. Small location provides an intimate setting. Outside seating is available for smaller parties (2). Bar is available. Restrooms are clean yet small. Parking is challenging here as it is hard to find. During my stay I noticed parking enforcement patrolling the street and ticketing. Check your meter before leaving your car.

Normally CPK is a safe bet for quality of food and service. This visit left a lot to be desired. They were really understaffed and the pizza was tough and lacked sufficient quantity of toppings. Also, ordered the adult mac n cheese for my son and it was no larger than a kids sized portion. CPK still has a customer but this time around was disappointment.

I gave this place more than 3 chances, and they failed to serve me a good food.
Food quality is awful, I got stomach ache and heartburn every time I tried their pizzas.
The servers seem to be lost all the time. They don’t know anything about what they are serving and they are rude.
I ordered take out two times, both times I was there on time to pick up my food and my food either was not ready or they lost it. 🤦🏻‍♀️
I really like CPK and I am a member, but this branch has failed me and it is such a disappointment since it’s very close to my home.
Please let me know if you improved and I’m willing to give you another chance.
