Good lunch spot with a pleasant service and atmosphere. we had the Tuna melt and Patty melt. Both very nice - although as a previous poster mentioned any bill above 50dollars gets a gratuity of 18% added which is annoying. That being said the food and atmosphere is great.

Less than pleasant dining experience. Ordered the turkey lettuce wraps. The turkey arrived burnt to a crisp, which is actually toxic for the body. I politely reordered the turkey lettuce wraps, bit into one and it was raw. Apparently the food manager was in house but I was never recognized after bringing the issue to the front counter. Got my refund and won’t be returning.

PSA: 18% SERVICE CHARGED ADDED TO BILL IF YOU SPEND OVER $50. Crazy...no signage until you pay. They don't even tell you. Super shady but I'll admit, the food is decent and decor is nice. But nothing to come back to, especially with the limited parking around the area.

1 had a terrible experience at this coffee shop. The service was extremely slow, taking 15 minutes to deliver a coffee to the table. I ordered a regular latte with almond milk, which cost $7.66—a ridiculously high price. To make matters worse, the coffee was burned and tasted awful. I’m surprised this place is so busy. This was my first and last visit, and I do not recommend it. If you want good service and quality coffee, avoid this place.

My wife and I were hunting for a good option near Rodeo and I'm glad before d this place. Amazing bread made the sandwiches delicious.

We split the turkey and venue sandwiches and a plate of fries. A perfect amount of food.

The patio offered some unexpected entertainment as we watched a drama unfold in the form of a free episode of "Beverly Hills 20-somethings". :D

I’d post a photo but couldn’t put my fork down to take one. An absolute gem of a place. Ate 3 times here over our 2 day stay. Every meal went from great to stunning. Finishing with their famous tuna melt on the last day - wow! And the service - I’d go back just for Aarron’s energy - he needs to be recognised as a legend in these parts! Loved it!

1. No signage out front. Was I at the right spot? Who knows! Went inside. No signage there either!
2. No menu available to view until it’s your turn at the register! Nothing hanging on the wall, nothing to grab from the countertop. Had to wing it
3. Learned tip is included! At a restaurant with no servers!!! WHAT?
4. An umbrella tipped over and also smashed into an infant in a stroller on the sidewalk. Nice infrastructure.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years. But I won’t be coming back. The portions have gotten smaller and smaller. You pay close to $30 for a meal that does not fill you up. To make matters worse, they add an 18% gratuity before tax. What are they adding this gratuity for, I really don’t know. You order the food at the counter. All in all, you do not get value at this place. There are plenty of restaurants in the area that give you a decent plate of food without forcing an 18% gratuity down your throat.

MANDATORY 18% TIPS BUT POOR SERVICES?!?!?!‼️⁉️🆘🆘
We came around at 11:30am and the restaurant was pretty empty (not a busy time). Still, our order took a long time to arrive. While we were waiting, nobody served us any water. 😓When the food arrived, the yogurt was spilled and there were only two sets of utensils for four people. When we asked for more utensils and water, the Mexican waiter looked really impatient and impolite. The look he gave was absolutely offensive.🤔When we were finished, the same waiter came with a big attitude, banding forks and knives against the plates and murmured in his mother tongue we couldn’t understand. Overall, I just want to say. If you charge a mandatory 18% “gratuity charge” beforehand, then you should act like you deserve it. 😥😥

Waited 15 min for a table. I sat down and had an employee bring a high chair. After 5 min of waiting for my wife and daughter to arrive, I'm told I need to order. I reply I'm waiting for my family and I'll order now. Then I'm told you need to order 1st to sit down and told to get up. Employee didn't care at all. Horrible service, will never return.

It can be really tough getting a table here but it's always worth the wait. I would strongly recommend getting a reservation instead of trying two wait around for an hour. You have to try the waffles here. They are the best thing on the menu in my opinion. They are also very instagrammable. 😍😁. Expect to pay around fifty dollars a person if you have any type of appetite.

Maybe the cashier thought we were tourists. I think we got way over charged. Two sandwiches and a drink cost $65. I wanted the cashier to print the receipt, but never got it. We sat outside. The environment was okay except the cars kept honking on other cars that were waiting for the pedestrians to get across the street. The sandwiches and the drink were also okay, but not $65 okay.

I'll start by saying the food here is incredible. Very very overpriced. But incredible.

This review is primarily a result of a personal experience from the service on my 4th visit within a week.

Every other time I went here the food was great and the service was ok no issues. Also the ambiance is cool. They have a little out door area for seating as well as some indoor seats.

Generally, we would walk in and my wife would find a place to sit and we would then order food. This was never a problem the previous 3 times we came in. Today, however, seemed to rub us the wrong way.

There was an extremely long wait to order food so I asked my wife to grab a seat and I'll order whatever she wanted as her back hurts after standing for too long (this stems from a prior accident she was involved in).

As she went to sit down the gentleman at the front yelled at her "actually you can't sit down until you have ordered". My issue with this is two fold.

First, the staff could have been much more friendly about it by saying something like "excuse me miss, sorry but we ask that you order food before taking a seat please" or "excuse me, can you please order before taking a seat".

Alternatively, they could have also posted this "unspoken rule", that nobody was ever aware, at the front as people walk in so that we would be on notice.

Second, I had been here on three previous occasions within the last week and had never been told that we need to order before having a seat.

I understand the logic, as they want people to be seated on a first come first serve bases. However, if that is how you want to run your restaurant you should probably have a hostess and seat people as they come and have waiters take orders, instead of forcing people to order first and pay up front and grab their food from the bar.

Unfortunately the tone of his voice coupled with the way he said it was so rude that it was embarrassing for my wife.

Sadly we will not return anymore even though they had excellent food.

I wish maybe they would train the staff a little more properly on restaurant etiquette to hopefully prevent this in the future.

Busy on a saturday morning but we managed to get a table outside. Service was also quick.

Popular place in the hood of BH :). We had the burger and an omelette, both were good but not worth the price. Also tables are a bit cramped. But great location and great for people watching. I’d go again. Coffee was good too.

I just realized when my friend mentioned to me I may have been scammed. I ordered 2 cappuccinos $5 each , waffles $18-20?, and scramble 20-25? I expected it to be like $45-55. I didn’t put tip on register, and just paid for it quickly. Coming home and checking bank app I see I was charged $71. My bad for not taking receipt, but if you go here get receipt!

Croft Alley is a staple must here in Beverly Hills, prime West Hollywood! It’s casual counter service! Interior is beautiful it’s rustic in a good way, it gives a home away from home take for the interior,
Lovely outdoor seating!

The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable, and our food came out amazing and definitely a bang for your buck! Bring friends for casual lunches and brunches!

But definitely coming back to try the whole menu!

I honestly cannot understand how Croft Alley could have any less than 5 stars!

Firstly, location! Such a fun spot for people watching and the Cafe itself is very relaxed and incredibly unpretentious.

The Staff are absolutely part of the appeal! The Cashier was incredibly friendly, cracked jokes and even came out to say Hi and remembered my name- good points there!

Ordered the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, the Waffles and the Salmon Bowl. My Dear Sweet Corn Bread.... it was AMAZING! The Waffles were absolutely the best I have ever eaten! The flavour was out of this world!

Salmon was fresh, flavourful and delicious and the coffee was divine.

This is my new favourite brunch spot in Los Angeles and some of the best food I have eaten in a minute! Absolutely returning and also want to try out the Melrose location.

This restaurant has a cute outdoor seating area which is perfect for brunch. I came in during lunch time and ordered the waffle. It was seriously so delicious! I love the fact that they use almond flour for the waffle. They also give a 10% discount if you work in the area. I will definitely be coming back.

Kitchen look gross. Nobody wears hairnets or gloves. The cook was eating with her hands while making a sandwich.
