My wife and I are big fans of Massimo Bottura's story and vibe. After being lucky enough to visit his signature restaurant in Modena, Italy, we were excited to learn we could have a "Massimo" experience right here in Los Angeles. It's expensive, of course, but on par for this kind of experience and worthwhile for a special occasion, such as my birthday!
The visual artistry of the food is unparalleled. Everything that is brought to you is like a piece of art on a plate with extraordinary detail paid to the visual presentation of the food. A lot of it tastes really great too. I especially enjoyed the "Risotto Camouflaged as Pizza" dish.
I'm a vegetarian and was happy that they offered a version of their tasting menu to suit my diet. Though when I compared what I was getting to the regular non-vegetarian counterpart my wife was getting, it didn't always seem like an equivalent deal. Case-in-point, the "Breakfast at Gucci" – a VERY cute small bagel situation that my wife was given with caviar and scallop. I was brought a different dish, which looked nice, but wasn't a bagel for sure...couldn't they have done a mini bagel with some vegetarian topping instead so I could have had the same experience my wife was having?
Also she was brought hearty beef looking item...for that course I had a beautiful ribbon of parsnip creating that wasn't quite as satisfying to eat, I'd imagine as the beef across from me. Now, again I'm a vegetarian, but if you're making a vegetarian version of something, I think it would be better if it was a little more on-point in same way to the non-vegetarian version sitting across from you.
I was especially excited about the 5 Seasons of Cheddar as our favorite dish on Modena was the 5 Ages of Parmesan. The Beverly Hills cheddar one was not quite as good as the Parmesan tributee dish...in terms of flavor and textures. Okay.
The service overall was a little off too. Our server was very nice and accommodating. He was, as one would expect, very knowledgeable about the food and we enjoyed the explanations of the dishes as well. But the timing was not right. We had food out before our cocktails come. Dishes came very quickly one after the other with no space to breathe in between. We actually had to tell them to slow down as it felt a bit rushed.
So all of these points together led to an experience which was still elevated above most of the dining experiences we have on a day to day basis, but a little disappointed at the overall food and experience.
If we came back I think we'd forgo the tasting menu and order a-la-carte to have more control over what we got.
All that having been said the atmosphere was comfortable and even a little fun which is nice for such a high-end restaurant where the trend (including at Osteria Francescana in Modena) is to be VERY formal.

Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura is a true gastronomic masterpiece. The cozy atmosphere, sophisticated interior, and impeccable service make this place unique. The dishes are crafted with meticulous attention to detail: fresh ingredients, creative presentation, and delightful flavors. The harmony of tradition and innovation in every recipe is especially impressive. If you appreciate fine dining, this is a must-visit destination.
I ordered the Chef’s Experience with 9 courses, and everything was incredibly delicious. However, two dishes weren’t quite to my taste. The Casoncelli Bergamaschi contained pork, so I couldn’t try it, and the Angus Beef Filet was served pink and rare. I personally can’t eat meat that feels undercooked to me, but that’s just my personal preference.
The service was exceptional.
The hostess was absolutely wonderful.
A huge thank you to the entire team!❤️

I've been fortunate to dine at many Michelin-starred restaurants around the world. Almost universally, you can expect a wonderful experience. However, over time, the details blur. Only a few restaurants stand out with crisp detail, where you think back and reminisce about enjoying a specific dish -- places like Guy Savoy, Alinea, Atelier Crenn, Gary Danko.
I'm convinced that our experience at Gucci Osteria will be one of those indelibly memorable meals.
Having plans in the early evening and wanting to enjoy an exceptional meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary, my wife and I made lunch reservations for their very first seating. We were pleased to see that their full tasting menu was available for lunch. We decided to indulge.
Each of the courses was excellent. A sense of humor was woven through the dishes. Bagel and cream cheese as a starter? Risotto masquerading as pizza? A silly straw with dessert? I love when fine dining doesn't take itself too seriously, and you can have fun with your food.
The service was wonderful. Present when we needed them, but not intrusive. Knowledgeable and helpful when we asked questions about how the dishes were prepared. Friendly, and made us feel welcome and that they enjoyed having us there.
The atmosphere was wonderful. We were on a protected deck that allowed us to enjoy the fresh California air while not having the sun shining on us directly nor the sound of traffic intruding on our conversation.
What we will forever remember is the standout dish, the risotto masquerading as pizza. And that the staff invited us back into the kitchen, allowing us to chat with a number of chefs, and took a picture with my wife and I. We will treasure that photo.
My one regret is that we forgot to ask for a photo with our server, Johnny. He took the photo of us in the kitchen, but we should have asked for a turn with him behind the camera. Johnny and the sommelier really made the experience so wonderful.
Overall, a perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A nice, relaxing, long lunch with enough time to get some coffee and make our way to the concert in the early evening. Thank you Gucci Osteria.

The food is stunning - looks gorgeous and is really good. The plates are meant to be shared which is great as we sampled a variety of dishes. The risotto was sublime, rich flavours and based on the tastes of a traditional pizza Neapolitan. The tomato tartine looked like artwork and tasted just as good. The fish was also a start. Every dish was meticulously presented and explained by the servers.
The setting is very ‘Gucci Garden’ with rich florals and prints - stunning.
This is a restaurant to be enjoyed for special occasions for sure and it’s worth it.

Excellent experience. Food is ok, more for the experience around smells, visuals and the decor than the unique flavors. Worth visiting once but would not come back. The service is superb and we had fun.
The risotto was interesting and good; the tequila drink with smoked sage was unique and superb (but costs the same as an entree); the tortellini are tasty but nothing out of this world; the Emilia burger was not good at all, my wife and I agreed it had a gooey thick texture that was not pleasant at all and we could not eat it. The fries were very good, among the best I’ve eaten — I loved the rosemary and chicken profile.

**Review of Gucci Osteria and Cocktail Bar**
I had the immense pleasure of dining at Gucci Osteria, an exquisite culinary gem that not only serves exceptional cuisine but also boasts an impressive cocktail bar and a fascinating museum on the top floor.
During my visit, I had the opportunity to try the "Memories of Negroni," a cocktail that truly stood out. As a devoted fan of Negronis, I can confidently say that this version was exceptional—perfectly balanced with rich flavors that elevated the classic into a new realm of taste.
The ambiance of the cocktail bar was both inviting and sophisticated, making it the perfect setting to enjoy such a delightful drink. I must commend the bar manager and the entire staff for their warmth and professionalism; they went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Their knowledge of mixology was evident, and they provided excellent recommendations.
To top it all off, I also received a bottle of gin to take home, a generous touch that underscored the establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Gucci Osteria is truly a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a unique blend of art, culture, and exquisite flavors. I highly recommend experiencing both the culinary offerings and the remarkable cocktails for an unforgettable evening.

McDonald's was better and cost 1/10000th the price. I suggest you invest your money instead of wasting it here. Wealthy people do not eat at the Gucci Restaurant. Only poor people who want to act rich eat here. Real bosses like myself have a private chef on call 24/7. I also have 70 million cash in the bank and over 700 properties.

A unique Michelin experience. Came here with my family and we had made a reservation beforehand for Sunday at 12:30pm. I suggest parking at the Brighton City Garage to get free parking for the first 90 min otherwise there’s valet for $15 available. You check in with the hostess and then take the elevator up to the Osteria.
For brunch, the only option is the set menu, and you actually get everything featured (no need to pick and choose). It’s $145/person plus extra for drinks ($8 for each Evian water bottle and much more for alcohol). The bread service was lowkey my favorite course thanks to the flaky croissants from Artelice and the wildberry marmalade. The Vermont butter and the other spread were also high quality. The egg dish was an Italian take on the traditional bacon and eggs breakfast, and was like a thick soup. For the entrees, the salad came with a very delicious basalmic vinegar from Modena and the burger came in a cute pink box. The fries were thrice cooked and the crab cakes had a strong flavor. In contrast, the enoki mushroom covered by bubu arare was bland, even with the seaweed aioli. For desserts, it was quite a spread. The cornettos came with the Gucci labeling and was my favorite of the desserts. The cheese tarts were covered with Parmesan and was their take on the Hokkaido cheese tart. The yogurt came with fresh granola and berries, and was very thick.
Service was super attentive and the meal felt like an experience. There was one restroom broken, but it was fine. The seating was outdoors but covered. After the meal, you have the option of going directly to the Gucci store or to Rodeo Drive. Overall, a great special occasion spot for a big meal.

A delightful experience from the moment we walked in the front door until we left. This is what high level hospitality looks like, chairs pulled out as you come to your table, to the way the menu was presented and explained, the narrative of each dish shared, and such a beautiful well thought out space. All the staff were professional, poised, calm, but still warm. Excellent service, but even more amazing food. Each dish was stunning, intentional, flavorful, with a touch of playful humor and character that said we take ourselves seriously, but not too seriously.

The brunch course at Gucci Osteria is a masterful blend of traditional Italian flavors and modern culinary innovation, each dish meticulously crafted to deliver both visual appeal and exquisite taste.
Selection of Freshly Baked Bread and Pastries
The meal begins with a delightful assortment of freshly baked bread and pastries, accompanied by an array of sweet and savory spreads. The quality of the bread and the creativity of the spreads set the tone for the rest of the meal.
Cured Fish and Meat
Following the bread and pastries, the selection of cured fish and meat showcases the finest ingredients, prepared with precision. Each bite offers a burst of flavor, perfectly paired with the accompanying Domaine Terrebrune 2021 Bandol and Cantina Privata - Domaine Ott ‘Etoile’ 2021 wines.

A refreshing interlude, the Aromatica salad features organic greens from the farmer’s market, balsamico, and flax seeds. This light and flavorful dish is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Le Crespelle di Mamma Dani
The spinach-filled crepe, bechamel, crispy pancetta, and sage combine to create a rich and satisfying dish that highlights traditional Italian flavors with a modern twist.
Holy Crab!
A standout dish, the Holy Crab! features russet potato cartouche, spider crab, and smoked trout roe. The flavors are perfectly balanced, offering a unique and indulgent taste experience.
Crispy Enoki Mushroom
Served with seaweed aioli and bubu arare, the Crispy Enoki Mushroom dish is a delightful fusion of textures and flavors, providing a crispy, umami-rich bite.

Monte Bianco Pavlova
For dessert, the Monte Bianco Pavlova features merengue, chestnut, rum, and chocolate, offering a light yet indulgent finish to the meal.
Gucci Cornetto
The Gucci Cornetto, with gelato alla crema and K&K raisins, is a sweet and creamy delight that perfectly captures the essence of Italian pastries.
Honey Yogurt
The Honey Yogurt with cardamom granola and fresh berries is a refreshing and healthy option that adds a nice balance to the dessert selection.
Modena Cheese Tart
The Modena Cheese Tart, made with Parmigiano Reggiano curd, is a savory treat that rounds out the meal beautifully.

Gucci Osteria is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of art, fashion, and gastronomy. Whether you’re a food enthusiast, a fashion lover, or simply looking for a luxurious brunch experience, Gucci Osteria offers an unparalleled journey into the world of haute cuisine. My recent visit to Gucci Osteria in Los Angeles was an utter disappointment, especially compared to the delightful experience I had a year ago. The deterioration in both service and quality was shockingly evident.
From the outset, the service was abysmal. Our food was brought out before we even received our drinks. To make matters worse, one of our dishes was served while my partner was still in the washroom. The lack of coordination and basic courtesy was astonishing.
The biggest letdown, however, was the food. The fish dish reeked of an off-putting odor the moment it was placed in front of us. One bite confirmed our suspicions – it was undeniably bad. We promptly returned both fish dishes, only to be met with indifference from the staff. Their lack of concern for serving spoiled food was both alarming and unacceptable. Even the basics were mishandled. The focaccia bread was dry and didn't seem fresh at all.
Adding to the frustration, the valet service was a disaster. We were charged $16 for self-parking, and to top it off, they left our car keys inside the open vehicle. This blatant disregard for security was inexcusable.
The waitress mumbled throughout the night, making it impossible to understand the descriptions of the dishes. This lack of clear communication further detracted from the dining experience.
To add insult to injury, the entire experience was grossly overpriced. Given the appalling service, subpar food, and security negligence, the high prices felt like a slap in the face.
Gucci Osteria has taken a dramatic nosedive in quality and service. What was once a luxurious dining experience is now a frustration and disappointment.

I’ve been to 20+ Michelin star restaurants and this was the worst one in terms of food. We did the chef’s menu and the food was either bland or too rich/sour.
The cocktails were great but they were $40+ each. The service and ambiance were good but not great.
As someone that loves food, this was absolutely not worth it. Food + drinks came out to $1000 for two people.
Would not recommend anyone come here if you care about the quality of the food. Literally pick any other Michelin star restaurant and you’ll be much more satisfied.

Usually I don’t disappoint of Italian restaurants in LA, especially Beverly Hills because I live here. But this restaurant is different. They only care about how to make the food fashionable but not focus on delicious. I think most of the people go there for taking pictures, and I don’t really think anyone wants to go there again.

The people on here complaining and giving one star, don’t exist. There is no way that if you appreciate great food and service that you would be dissatisfied. The place is really pricey as a Michelin restaurant would be in the arguably the most expensive street in the world, with a luxurious brand and tier to the chef of the number one restaurant in the world. Speaking of which, I had the tortellini and the Emilia Burger as they are the two Massimo classics in the menu.. bread basket and dessert were amazing as was the service. The burger was delicious and the tortellini was elegant and had a big flavour. I don’t think I would have to go back again but I certainly enjoyed my visit.

Each dish is a masterpiece, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors and creativity. The attention to detail is remarkable, reflecting the high standards one would expect from the collaboration of Gucci and Massimo Bottura. While the price reflects the exclusivity, every bite is a testament to the exceptional quality. The salad was prob the best I have ever had. 💜

After trying the Gucci Osteria in Florence, this was on my bucket list.
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the hostess, who has assisted us to the elevator to the 2nd level. We arrived on time for our reservation, and was immediately seated. (Which you would expect)
I did some research on Chef Mattia Agazzi, so I could get a feel on his style and art. We did the Tasting Menu that was offered, and also the wine pairing. Our server/ servers were amazing.
They explained each dish thoroughly, validated some of my knowledge as well as paint the story that inspired some of the special dishes.
I would say this is something you would have to appreciate to fully grasp the culinary art that goes into each meal.
As an added bonus before departing, I had the opportunity to meet and chat with Chef Aggazi and inform him my appreciation for his work.

We went there for a birthday dinner and were blown away by the service and the food. The wine list and cocktails were amazing! We opted for the beverly hills classic tasting-Each of the dishes were presented with a story behind it and that added a great touch to the food! There was phenomenal depth of flavours and a wow factor in most of the dishes! The only thing on the menu I did not like was the cod as milanese! The insalata di mare was divinely refreshing and was my favourite item on the menu!
I think what set apart the service was we went on a late Sunday evening which wasn’t a typical influencer heavy day so the service was unhurried, above and beyond!
Highly recommend!

"The restaurant will automatically add 20% on the bill"
I've been to thousands of restaurants around the world, and I have a passion for Michelin restaurants.
In fact, I started to eat in a Michelin restaurants in Europe/especially Italy, 25 years ago.
This place deserves 5 stars for an average customer, but not for someone with a serious experience.
The furniture are tacky for a fancy upscale restaurant in Beverly Hills, especially with the name "Gucci".
The service was great, but not outstanding and they didn't have any personality, or at least it wasn't comparable to any upscale dining experience in Italy, and the rest of Europe.
Few dishes were really impressive, while others were mediocre.
The presentation was poor. The burrata was old and didn't have a taste, as well as the Cod.
The boero chocolate was ridiculous, I for sure don't want to see that in a fancy restaurant.
That's an old chocolate candy that were popular among old grandma's in Italy.
The pasticcino with custard, it was dry and didn't have any custard.
The tortellini dish needed to be more creamy.
The chocolate dessert was ok and the gelato/ice cream was tasteless and needed to be made with milk not water.
The mini hamburger inspired by shake shack was ridiculous as well, however, I liked the box.
Shake shack is a fast food chain, and isn't even one of the best in America.
I am tired of Panna water, in Italy there are hundreds of better waters, and panna isn't the most popular at all.
As it is right now, this place in Italy will close in less than a year.
Try to check "Sadler restaurant in Milan, Italy" to get an idea of a real upscale restaurant from there.
I felt more to have dinner in a coffee place, than a Michelin restaurant.
Maybe you can trick few young influencers without knowledge, but not clients like me.
This place deserves 3.5 stars, but since I don't have the option, I had to choose between 3 and 4, and I chose 4 stars just because of the Gucci name fashion brand that sounds unique for a restaurant. However, the quality of food, atmosphere, and service deserves a 3 stars or max 3.5

OMG this is by far the fanciest restaurant I've ever dined in my life! It is intimate but luxurious! Reservation wasn't hard though. We were late for the reservation but they were nice and we still got the full experience. We celebrated my friend's birthday here and the restaurant went above and beyond! First of all, the waiter gave us an in-depth lecture of the restaurants and the dishes served. I ordered the SoCal spaghetto and it was bomb! Will come back to celebrate more special occasions in the future!

The food is not quite what we expected… especially the almond sorbet with seaweed jam is yucky! NEVER DO DESSERT WITH SEAWEED JAM! Can’t believe the taste is weird!
Congratulations Osteria! You win the award for the worst food in the $$$ class in Beverly Hills. The main entrees served at our table uncreative and just awful with mystery ingredients floating in soupy messes. Luckily, the bread was warm and good or we would have all left the table hungry.
EDIT: The service was good and the atmosphere are good too, besides the food being yucky.

Horrible experience, Brian was our waiter he was high as they get, very slow to process information. The most disappointing thing is I asked for the wine list from a different gentlemen, Brian came running over saying what do you want white or red I said white preferably French. Without showing me the menu or confirming the price he poured the wine ( later realizing it was $140 a glass) I feel like that should have been mentioned prior to the pour. Anyways food was delicious and everything but Brian was pleasant

So we went to the Gucci event at the McCabe Ranch near Aspen for Aspen Food and Wine. It was poorly organized, they ignored the obvious bad cold rainy weather, served appetizers that could have come from Costco, were arrogant, had us stand in 48 degree cold drizzling rain before letting us into a barn, which still smelled like fresh horse poop, to then serve us “family style” mediocre food, like very starchy risotto, because it sat too long. The speeches they gave before dinner in this barn we unintelligible because they forgot to bring a mike or bull horn. It was just a stumbling event made worse by the arrogance of this dude with red glasses. Run from Gucci food events!

I’ve been to many Fine, high end and Michelin star restaurants, but this is so fancy and bougie, because the experience is very different, all the interior thing are Gucci, be ready to have a nice experience in a rooftop of Gucci store in Iconic Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills. I totally recommend going there to celebrate a special occasion because it’s very pricey and you wanna have a good time and memories, I recommend to go with a Chef menu to get a taste of everything in the menu and definitely try the signature hamburger 🍔 that is one of the best hamburger I’ve ever had, also the dessert was the best dessert. Just grab a drink and follow the chef 👨🍳, you gonna enjoy it!

Overall, we enjoyed the restaurant, although we would probably not choose to return there again. The service is of the highest standard, as is the interior design.
We liked almost all the dishes, especially the tortellini in a glossy pool of Parmigiano. Trying a burger in a Michelin-starred restaurant in collaboration with Shake Shack was also fun.
However, the overall impression is still one of the slightly bland flavors. We didn't discover anything new for ourselves.

Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills, CA is a unique dining experience that offers a taste of luxury and sophistication. The decor of the restaurant is opulent, with velvet banquettes and chic lighting. The food is nothing short of extraordinary, and every dish is a work of art. The menu offers a range of Italian dishes, each with its own modern twist. The pasta is made fresh, and the sauces are flavorful and rich. The wine list is extensive and offers some of the best Italian wines available through Gucci connections. The service is impeccable, with waiters who are attentive and knowledgeable. The attention to detail and commitment to quality are evident in every aspect of the dining experience. Overall, Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills, CA is a must-visit for anyone looking for a luxurious dining experience that will leave them feeling satisfied and impressed.

To be concise - underwhelming …. Ambiance - cute (can’t go wrong with everything Gucci branded, I imagine), service - nice (server was kind and sweet ), food …. Well, here it all went wrong. Menu prices average 65/70 USD per dish, only handful of options, and even though the prelude (amuse bouche, bread, butter) was great, the main you’re paying for was just sad. We had a burger - served in a very pretty box and supposedly made in collab with shake shack (gosh, should have gone there instead and saved 200$), and it was just NOT good: buns, meat patty (temperature of their choice (blue), as no one ever asked us how we would like it), avocado spread and all dripped in some mustardy, off brown color sauce …. 50$ signature tortellini (very soupy as described) and served in a smaller bowl than I serve my 4yo with…
No one really asked us how things were, even though I’m pretty sure our body language spoke for itself. On the way out we shared most do the above with a manager ( seemed like someone suited up to be in charge), but were told that it’s first they hear and burger especially is their best seller ( I imagine lowest price on the menu does it’s ratings…)
Soooo, save your money, or better save your money for other known chefs in the area like Mr Puck ….
You’re welcome :)

One of a kind Birthday dinner !
From the moment I arrived at Gucci Osteria, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated, and the staff was friendly and attentive. As I perused the menu, I was impressed by the innovative dishes that blended Italian and Japanese influences in unexpected ways.
I started with the American breakfast, which was a luxurious and decadent way to begin my meal. The combination of eggs, potato foam, and Imperial Ossetra caviar was a delightful explosion of flavors and textures. The Cantina Privata - Krug 'Grande Cuvee 169eme Champagne was an excellent pairing, adding a touch of elegance to the dish.
Next, I tried the fish tartare with smoked and crispy rock fish, potatoes, and shiso. This dish was a standout, with the fish melting in my mouth and the accompanying potatoes and shiso adding a unique and delicious twist. The Liquid Farm 'Golden Slope' Chardonnay complemented the dish perfectly, enhancing the flavors and textures.
For my main course, I opted for the Wagyu bollito with apple mostarda and warm zabaione. This dish was a true indulgence, with the Wagyu beef cooked to perfection and the apple mostarda adding a sweet and tangy flavor. The Eisele Vineyard 'Altagracia' 2014, Napa Valley, was an excellent choice to pair with this dish, bringing out the rich and savory flavors.
Finally, I ended my meal with the Sgroppino and the Milk & Honey desserts. The Sgroppino was a refreshing and light way to cleanse my palate after the main course, with the yuzu, coconut, and California citrus flavors coming together in a perfect balance. The Milk & Honey was a sweet and creamy dessert that was the perfect way to end my meal.
Overall, my experience at Gucci Osteria was truly exceptional. The food was innovative, delicious, and expertly prepared, and the wine pairings were outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable dining experience. Special thanks to our waiter Chris who guided our experience. Bravissimo and monto bene !!!

It is a unique and elegant dining experience. We had the 7 course tier and one of us had the premium wine pairing from limited edition imported bottles, one of which was one of only 800 bottles. The dish portions are sample sizes of the chef's creation - Mattia Agazzi and the presentations are colorful and artistic. Be prepared to pay top $$$$ for the meal. (2k+ for our party of four). Great luxurious atmosphere and location 3 floors above the Rodeo Drive sidewalk next to the Gucci store. Reservations are hard to book so call a month in advance a deposits are required. This is the only Gucci branded restaurant in the U.S. and one of only four in the world. It will be a one time experience for me since the food was not really satisfyingly great portions (see my photos). And although it is worth the experience the price may not be practical for a colorful and creative gourmet meal. Like I said, it is an adventure for the palate and not a feast. The staff are great and they take the time to tell the story behind every dish and wine bottle. Of course you are paying for the brand like their goods in the stores. So splurge here...for once in your lifetime at least.

And speaking of the wait staff, they are so, so, so excellent. From the moment I walked in, to the last step out of the restaurant, they were there. Been here 3 times, and every time it is different, even the same dish might be different size, i always get chefs choice course meal, and out of 3 times chef send extra “compliment” dishes only once. So this inconsistency is why i cant give 5 stars. But it is a good quality delicious food in very cozy atmosphere with great service.

// This is one of the best culinary experiences we have ever had. We went for lunch on a Friday and did the Beverly Hills Classic (tasting menu) with the wine pairing. Christian and his team went out of their way to make us feel special and to give us the ultimate luxury dining experience. Every meal offering had a story and was hand crafted for this location. The Sommelier paired the perfect wines for each course, enhancing the experience. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. While it is a higher price-point, you won’t get the same treatment anywhere else on Rodeo Drive. We will be back!

The chefs tasting menu was divine. The tortellini was one of the best I’ve ever had. Every dish garnered a “wow” (except the main fried cod which was perfectly done but exactly as expected). The regular wine pairing was good, but the premium was fantástica d interesting.

It is incredible that the inspectors of the Michelin Guide maintain the star to a restaurant that only offers its clients an outdoor lunch that, in the middle of summer, reaches -as was my case today- 34° C? Can anyone really enjoy a good tasting menu at such a temperature? In the hypothetical case that this were the case, it seems to me that the restaurant should offer the possibility of doing it in another part of the restaurant at a more suitable temperature (in the GUCCI store that is under the restaurant if there is air conditioning). The bloodiest thing is that they do not warn of this relevant circumstance on their website and, of course, when you get there if you decide not to stay, they charge you for the resignation.
To make matters worse, the waitress who has served us has served me the Prosecco in the glass of water. Only when he has seen the expression on my face has he stopped serving. Perhaps he thought that by not giving the profile of the regular customer of that restaurant (Rodeo Drive - Los Angeles) we were ignorant people who would accept anything. To rectify it, he has served me a new glass of Prosecco from a lower priced bottle that would have been open and it is not known because it had lost all the carbon.
In short, a good tasting menu that would have deserved a better review if it hadn't been for the above.
Of course, a place not recommended to go on days of high temperatures for those people as "rare" as the one who subscribes with the mania of enjoying a gastronomic experience at the right temperatures.

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a divine experience. Truly amazing staff at all points of contact and service, well done on making a high end restaurant feel like a casual/family style experience (ie not stuffy). The decor and vibe was everything - we all spotted decor that we wanted for ourselves. The food and cocktails were not only beautifully presented but tasted phenomenal. The food is brought out tapas style so all can share if they like, adding to the homey feel. If you have the means or a special occasion then get a reservation! You will not regret it.

Unfortunately I will have to give this experience of dining at Gucci Osteria one star . Me and my girls had this reservation 3 months in advance and we were so excited . Just to get there and thoroughly be disappointed with both sets of menus to choose from .
After surveying the menu we decided to choose our main courses . While the service was superb the food was not good to me at all. Out of all the dishes I maybe enjoyed one. Not only did we not enjoy the food but for that type of cost did not expect the cod which i was excited about, to be cooked in what tasted like old oil. None of us could even eat it.
All in all i would not recommend. If just going to shop downstairs and check out the esthetic upstairs that would make sense .
Very disappointed. Especially for coming out of town . I have eaten great food in Italy and this was not up to par.

Ok so I appreciated the amazing staff and Chef. I am not an Asian , nor an Oriental. Yet, 8 out of 10 tables were Oriental tourists. Fortunately dog meat was not on the menu, yet, the Italian menu seemed to be overwhelmingly marred by Oriental influence. Cod wasnt fresh, salad was great yet having miso dressing etc was an obvious kowtow to the tasteless Oriental market that they seem to be chasing. Damn shame, oh well Wine was great, as again were the staff. Been to many Michelin starred joints, buy this is such a sad attempt to please tasteless orientals. The chef should be ashamed because i know he can do sooo much better than this.

But they are still offering dinner services however not willing to move my reservation to dinner. WTH?? DO NOT COME.

The experience is 'OK." The food, very disappointing. I think the staff sniffed out that my table wasn't into the food (and therefore less likely to rack up a huge bill). We went from having multiple staff members hovering around our table, to being largely ignored.
Cocktails are fine. Bread is just alright. The french-fries are amazing. The burger though, what an irredeemable joke. Hey, seasoning matters. Texture matters. The Emilia Burger had neither. Everything is presented well - but lacks substance. So, really, a direct culinary analogy of the high-fashion world.
We did not order dessert at this point. Check please!
It's very pretentious - which I would excuse had the food actually met a standard.

This food does not seem so appetizing as the zozto like someone's barf in it, the fried bread looks like it came from a scrap wall of hive bees, and the tortellini looks like animal's fetuses. Its great for those who want to look rich by eating mini kids meals, but its a sham price overall for those who are careful with their finances.

There are two major issues we encountered with our dinner at the Gucci Osteria.
First issue is our table, during the reservation I had requested an outside table to which the person on the phone specified that they are “all outside” and I would be seated on a balcony regardless of which table. Which was not the case when we showed up we were seated indoors and nowhere near a balcony. When we explained that to the maitre’d we had wanted an outdoors balcony table and we asked for it during the reservation they said that the outdoors tables were all requested and booked by other people that wanted to sit on the balcony - they did not even check they just patronizingly said they were booked and seated us without apologizing or caring that we were paying 600$ for our dinner and not being seated where we had wanted/requested. We should have left when we noticed that behavior but alas.
Second issue we had was with the set menu. The food was not enough for a 135$ price tag. In italy/Europe set menus come with a variety of dishes that leave you full and satisfied but the Gucci Osteria had the tiniest portions and only served 5 items including dessert. Also for 135$ it should’ve at least included tea and coffee afterwards (which is a standard with every set menu in Italy or Europe).
In addition to feeling completely rushed with no time space between the dishes. The wine pairing felt like wine tasting as our glasses were barely filled (with cheap 30$ dollars a bottle wines mind you).
Best part of the 600$ experience was the raisin bread that they did not refill. Even Olive Garden would refill your bread basket without you asking.

Portions were what you would expect at a high end restaurant but we left satisfied. It is an amazing culinary experience from start to finish! The staff is already rude and pretentious. They need some serious self-evaluation about who they want to be as a restaurant. A 3-Michelin star chef should not be brought down with front of house staff as poor as this. Being hospitable to everyone is how you maintain high ratings in the hospitality industry.
