The food is amazing and everyone at the restaurant has been so kind and inviting. The gluten free options are better than I’ve had anywhere else. Great flavor profiles, delicious and health focused.

Just unlocked a new fave bfast dish! It was my first time trying the Shakshuka and it was amazing. The flavors of the sauce were so good and I loved the toast. It was a bit spicy but nothing I couldn’t handle with some water (take it from someone who has no tolerance to spicy food). I also had the matcha and it was good but not memorable.

This cafe will fool you coming in, the atmosphere is not wow, nor is the service level and interaction. But wait till you get to the good part, the food is seriously good, fresh and full of taste.
The French Omelette sandwich is a great combination of fresh greens, eggs and the rest of delicious amenities.
The Best burger ever is actually one of the best burgers ever 😁, juicy, great sauce and perfect caramelized onions.
I think the grilled chicken sandwich was the least of our favorites.
To end with, the salmon toast was a very refreshing sandwich, the salmon is beetroot flavored salmon,, a nice twist.
I think these guys have really worked on the details and food, so takeaways should be on fire.
Ohh and the coffees were great 👍.

Food was great but what was really amazing was their freshly brew drip coffee- I was curious which brand of beans they used. Very lovely atmosphere as well.

Healthy food with a creative twist! I would never have thought to have chili sauce on my eggs! Highly recommend the All I Avo Wanted. If you are wanting to have unique flavors, try that dish!

I have gone to parakeet cafe several times since moving to LA. The con is that it is ridiculously expensive but … the food is amazing, fresh, delicious (for the most part).

I especially love the green eggs dish. I wouldn’t ever thought to add green beans in eggs but it’s so good. I did order the charcoal waffle once and it was super dry. Maybe the food quality depends on what you get.

The staff here is nice enough and there’s free water and sparkling water!!

Really beautiful and aesthetic cafe, I loved the vibe and the interior design. The service was okay, the waiter wasn’t smiling and looked tired and didn’t feel the most welcoming and accommodating but was mellow and served us what we needed. It was empty on a Sunday afternoon, there’s a lot of pastries. It’s a bit pricey and if you want to add protein like chicken or salmon they charge you $10+ which is insane, I feel like they should add chicken on some of the bowls or salads but it’s an extra cost. The food on the menu all sounds appealing though, super yummy! I got the harvest toast and the heirloom tomatoes tasted really fresh. I got a sunny side up eggs on the toast and it was good. It’s a order at the cashier and sit down with a table number cafe. Would come back for the vibes, food is pretty average for LA cafes, it’s good food!

We had excellent service when we were there from the greeting, ordering, coffee refills, delivering of food and clearing.
Liked the vibe of the cafe, very clean (it was morning before the rush) throughout, bright & cheery with nice decor.
Overall food was good but I wouldn't say excellent. All generally tasty and while they are creative in their combinations I'd say it lacked that next level. Still, good prices and good food meant for value. Coffee was great. Nice kids menu for good prices and healthy options. Tons of great baked goods they make 'in-house' from their san diego location and deliver daily.
Lots of good reasons to come back again

Dine in service is great, the food is fantastic and the kitchen is pretty fast. Take out coffee will take 30 min with nobody else in line. Seriously. And if you order two drinks the batista refuses to tell you which is which, or label them, and will give you major attitude if you ask. We are regulars and love coming for brunch but we tried bringing friends for coffee and they said they'd never come back due to the poor service.

I have a sensitive tummy and don’t like to eat out too often because I feel heavy or bloated after eating out, but always feel great after I eat here! Must be their Stella ingredients 😋 definitely recommend

I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Parakeet Cafe on July 18th around 9:50-10:00 a.m. I urgently needed to use the restroom and politely asked the staff member at the front counter. Despite offering to make a purchase immediately after, I was told I could not use the restroom until I had paid. When I emphasized the urgency, the staff member rudely stated, "We don't want anybody off of the street to come use the restroom."

As a Black woman, I felt humiliated and degraded by this insinuation. To make matters worse, there were no signs in the cafe indicating that restrooms are for paying customers only. I had to leave in distress and run to my workplace to avoid an embarrassing situation. Though the manager later offered me a pastry and coffee, it did little to alleviate the frustration and humiliation I experienced.

Additionally, I reached out to the corporate office via email to address this incident and have not heard a response in over two weeks. This lack of communication further demonstrates their disregard for customer concerns.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this issue and train their staff to handle such situations with empathy and respect. Until then, I cannot recommend Parakeet Cafe.

Amazing service and amazing food ! I recommend this place to everyone I know ❤️ two staff members Saula and Diego are the best ❤️❤️ I love the cold matcha , and their gluten free desserts especially but their food items are on fire too !

Was here for the first time and ordered the Cesar salad with avocado and chicken to go. The salad was delicious and the chicken was soft and well seasoned. Will definitely order again.

Only have had soup and salad. The salad was very fresh tasting and the dressing wa great. Not much in it though-although it said avocado, there was very little compared to other places. The soup was very good. Interesting flavors overall.

The staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. The high level of attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant is apparent. The menu offers fantastic options for everyone, including vegan and vegetarian dishes. The food is delicious, well-seasoned, and made with exceptional quality ingredients. I love that they have many house-made items including house almond/nut milks. I look forward to returning here regularly.

Best brunch I've had in years! I really don't know where to start, my wife and our 2 kids went there sunday around 930am, place was not too busy so we got our food pretty fast.
We ordered 6 dishes since everything dounded so appealing. Every dish was pretty big and very very tasty, we had the truffle/mushroom egg, avocado toast, smoked salmon plate, waffle. We had a toast with tomatoes and poached eggs, the tomatoes were the best I've had in my life, seriously. I'm picky just to let you and i own a restaurant. We left full and very happy. I can't wait to go back. Great quality, great portions, everyone of staff means was really nice and professional.
Sorry i forgot to mention the Burrito, ohhhh myyyy deliciousss

It was one of the most unpleasant food experiences I've had in LA. The coffee was burned and tasted bad. My Shakshouka had extremely overcooked eggs, and the overall taste was strange. The only thing I could eat was the bread. My husband ordered a burrito, and it was a mess. Pictures attached. He said it was gross.
Now it’s clear why on Saturday morning this place is empty.

Avocado toast and shakshuka were absolutely fantastic, spicy, varied textures and tastes. Really good spot. And coffee is delicious. The croissant is good for a US-made croissant.

I loved it, for breakfast everything was perfect. Must try the cappuccino.
Avocado bread was so delicious and was presented in an artistic way. The scrambled egg was done exactly the way I wanted to be the labneh side was tasty.

The food is amazing! I would suggest looking on their website at the photos of the food. It really shows exactly what you'll get. My only negative about this place is that they don't take CASH. Personally, I don't like businesses dictating how I pay.

Was unfortunately on a pretty rough day while going there and still the place did a lot to lift my spirits

Staff were great and very positive and i am greatfull for it, truly thank you.

Mocha was the best i ever had, and i drank mocha all over town during my month in LA.

Food was great, i got the eggs benedict which had a very impressive presentation(to which my lousy camera did not do justice so i will avoid posting that picture), every ingredient was prepared perfectly and the tastes in the dish fit and blend together well.

Decor and atmosphere is stunning, from the parakeet wall to the dishes to the music and every other part of the decor.

Hope to visit again on better days for me and wish lovely lives to the staff.

I am a big fan of Parakeet Cafe in La Jolla, San Diego. I had brunch at their Beverly Hills location, and, unfortunately, the taste of the food was like day and night compared to La Jolla. I always get their overnight oats and greens scrambled eggs. They were totally off at their new location in BH.

Beyond delicious. Perfectly prepared. Truly fresh & healthy. I had the vegan carne Asada bowl. Can’t wait to have it again. Restaurant is clean with great decor. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

My first time at the cafe I was greeted by Riley and another co worker of hers so sweet and helpful! And then Natal the manager was also very sweet and helpful when I needed to change my order. I was treated like a queen! I’ll definitely come back!! Great service great pumpkin spiced coffee and great ambience!

Three stars for me as a yelp&Google reviewer means it was average. The service was really good. The food was sub par. I ordered avocado and salmon toast and that was good with no labani because I don't eat dairy. However that was after they redid my order because I got chiloqueas and the combo of sunny side up eggs with tortilla chips and spicy sauce does not sit right with my stomach. I want to try to be nice but stay away from that dish it tastes like throw up. Sunny side up eggs suck not sure why anyone likes them anyways. I will come back because I want to see if the smoothies and pastries taste better then the food main course meals for the price they are at.

An elevated cafe vibe and the crew is always pleasant. The acai bowl is very well put together, but the scoops just need to be less icy and more smooth. The lox and eggs had some darn good cream cheese and eggs scrambled were perfect texture. Just wish the avocado bas a pinch of salt and pepper (none on tables). Compared to Urth, this place has higher quality - by far. The little touches like giving me a real knife (not butter knife like other cafes) for cutting mattered. Suggestion: Some hedges for outdoor seating.

First time here and wasn't quite sure what to get, the girl at the register, Belinda was very helpful and had great recommendations. Ended up getting getting the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Iced mint matcha latte both were absolutely delicious. Would deff come again

Horrible! Worst experience I think I have ever had at a restaurant. The woman at the counter could not understand my order as I kept ordering the yogurt bowl with coconut yogurt. When it came, the order was wrong as it had Greek yogurt I spoke with the kitchen and they offered to make me a new one. While I was waiting I ate the fruit off the top of the yogurt bowl, but did not eat any of the yogurt, when they brought back the correct order, the guy started to berate and yell at me and accuse me of trying to get two meals for the price of one. He said that if the order was really wrong I shouldn’t have touched it and ate any of it while I was waiting and again that I was just trying to get one over on them. I left, not eating anything and paying for my meal. I would highly recommend staying away from this place!

This restaurant exceeded my expectations, the menu is extremely well designed, you can choose from an extensive variety of different plates. The food and drinks are delicious and the service truly stands out.
Highly recommended!!
