I have been both a recurring guest of the Beverly Hills Hotel & patron of the Polo Lounge for over 25 years with my family. Most of the older staff there recognize us & commonly greet us with familiarity. WE HAVE A LOT OF HISTORY THERE.
This Christmas Eve, the very young ladies (almost every time these employees seem new these days) at the Polo Lounge entrance podium very casually & dismissively (with utterly blunt affects to boot) REFUSED TO SEAT US citing my girlfriend’s “ripped” jeans in violation of their dress code. Mind you these were the very stylish tasteful type of jeans, but, with yes, small intentional openings, the sort that just about everyone has come to regard as very fashionable for years now.
However, my intention then, as it is here now, was & is certainly not to take any issue whatsoever with the very existence of a dress code (much less quibble with the petty details). To the contrary, by and large I am a strong SUPPORTER OF maintaning GOOD STANDARDS & as such view reasonable DRESS CODES as one useful & effective instrument of fairly doing just that provided there is even application across ALL PATRONS regardless. For many years, long before I unexpectedly learned that day that the Polo Lounge had instituted a dress code approximately just a 4 short years prior, my personal dress code called for me to wear nothing short of a jacket or blazer there. Furthermore, I truly doubt that if some ridiculous celebrity showed up there in worse than “ripped” jeans that the staff wouldn’t be tripping over themselves to ask where he or she would like to be seated. All part of the standard hypocrisy my lack of naïveté won’t allow me to not conceive. But this is not a grievance (I actually really don’t have a grievance per se but rather a very sad set of undeniable observations) here now either. Suffice it to say that I do believe in reasonable & evenly applied dressed codes simply because I fully embrace maintaning high standards.
So what, in fact, then is MY POINT in writing any of this regarding the dismal experience there that day? It is simply the following: throughout the whole encounter ABSOLUTELY NO ONE at any instance even bothered to simply at least CONVENTIONALLY FEIGN A TRADITIONALLY POLITE, “I’M SORRY…….that we are unable to seat you & your party, sir” with a simple smile would have slightly mitigated the disappointment. Not the 2 young ladies at the podium, not the front desk, not the manager of the Polo Lounge. It is as if this attitude, a basic tenet of hospitality, was completely alien to them. This despite our obvious disappointment, surprise, & yes, at the end, frustration. All in spite of my many years of patronage. The complete lack of this very inexpensive sentiment was quite IMPOLITE per se to say the least. Its inclusion would have gone a long way. It’s lack took a bad experience & unnecessarily made it abysmal. Instead, when one of the older longstanding employees passing by the front podium overheard me telling the manager that I’d never heard of a dress code at the Polo Lounge, he saw fit to interject, unsolicited, “Well, you’ve never shown up like this here before!” When it was my girlfriend, not I, who was not, to our surprise, in compliance with the dress code. A completely classless statement & posture on his part. Mind you not less than 2 minutes prior this very same employee was performing his socially perfunctory but utterly meaningless “It’s nice to see you!” pretense while shaking my hand in the lobby as I made my way to the Lounge.
Lastly, the Polo Lounge, steeped in Hollywood history & folklore, rightfully loves to market Tinseltown’s nostalgic glamour. What the employees seem to blindly overlook is that nothing could be more devoid of class than being impolite to a longstanding patron. WITHOUT TRUE CLASS, GLAMOUR, LIKE HOLLYWOOD ITSELF, IS A COMPLETE ILLUSION. When the staff fails to be polite, it undermines what the Polo Lounge should be.

I’ve never written any review for any establishment ever but I felt compelled.
This is not a first offense either.

I dined here a couple of nights ago and was immediately struck by how the entire place felt like an old folks’ home on steroids—bland, dated, and way past its prime. The maitre d’ and his sidekick appeared to think they owned the establishment, though in reality, they seemed like clueless employees barely earning an hourly wage. Their off-putting attitudes were matched only by the maitre d’s ill-fitting orange suit and neon-orange spray tan to match—truly a “Laurel and Hardy” spectacle in modern times.

If the antiquated décor and awkward service weren’t enough, the food fell just as flat. Overcooked entrées, uninspired sides, and a general lack of flavor made it clear that this place is resting on laurels it earned years (if not decades) ago. From the attitude of the staff to the taste on the plate, everything here screams “washed up,” desperately clinging to whatever so-called glory days they think they once had.

Unless you’re looking for a subpar meal served with a side of condescension, I did not know that was in the menu, but it's served, (you are force fed it) as an entree. Then you might want to keep walking. This restaurant is long past its expiration date, and there’s little hope of reviving it unless drastic changes are made. Save yourself the disappointment—and your money—and go somewhere that still remembers how to treat customers and cook a decent meal.
Cipriani, Novakov, Avra, Steak 48 there are plenty to choose from.

We live in San Diego and dine at the Polo Lounge every time we drive up to LA. We hadn’t been in a few months, we came yesterday and it seems like it’s really gone downhill. Our food was very mediocre. My wife ordered the fish and chips and the fish was tiny but covered in tons of batter to make it look like it’s normal size. They took away the kids cups for my kids and gave them a regular cup that could easily spill with the Starbucks style (open top lid) and said that’s all they have. I ordered the steak Frites and the steak was ok but all the fries that came with our entrees were soggy. The service was mediocre and the people at the front just seemed disinterested and didn’t want to be there. We made the reservation 3 weeks in advance and called the night before to confirm and then were told we may have to wait but could sit outside. When we got there the hostess said there was nothing outside even though there was several empty tables. We got sat in a booth where the upholstery was ripped and tattered. For a 5 star hotel to have ripped up upholstery is just a terrible look. Not sure if they turned over their whole staff recently but it’s pretty mediocre. On a good note, the only thing that has stayed consistent was their soufflé.

Did not receive a menu with pricing for the souffle that we ordered. Ordered two regular chocolate soufflés with my friend to enjoy and when the bill came we were shocked that each souffle costs $38. We could not find a menu anywhere that showed this price. Does anyone else know if this is the legit price and what have you paid for this?

This place is totally ridiculous and a scam. Not worth the price tag at all. I Was told the slight rip in my jeans was a problem and that I wasn’t aloud in, mind you I had a $900 Ralph Lauren coat on, I said OK fine and went downstairs to the gift shop and bought $125 dollar sweat pants. I guess sweat pants is more acceptable to them than a nice pair of jeans with a slight rip. Lunch was $420 dollars for 3 people and the food was bland and underwhelming. Ontop of all of this they validate my parking for a $3 discount from $25 dollars to $22 dollars, it was laughable. Will never return

Overpriced and Underwhelming, But Pretty Decor

I left the Beverly Hilton to try breakfast at the Beverly Hills Hotel, excited to try their supposedly classic eggs Benedict. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. The eggs Benedict was mediocre, served with hash browns that tasted like they’d been sheet-pan baked and reheated, alongside a single, cold roasted tomato. For the price and hype, I expected much more.

To top it off, parking “validation” turned out to be just a discount, leaving me with a $22 charge for less than an hour’s stay. The decor was pretty—it’s got that going for it—but spending over $100 (with a cocktail) on this experience was disappointing. Not impressed and wouldn’t recommend it.

Washed it down with some whiskey. 🥃☕️

We had the tuna tartar, steak au poivre, the burger, and chocolate souffle.

The tuna tartar was very fatty and looked like it went through a blender instead of nice chopped cubes. There were big half cut chunks. The color was more of a flesh color instead of the nice bright pink you expect from fresh tuna. Flavor was still ok, but I did not enjoy the texture.

The steak au poivre was excellent. However, I ordered it medium rare, and it came well done. I sent it back, and their second attempt was closer to rare, but still very good. They comped us the steak, which I appreciated.

The burger was very good.

The chocolate souffle was friggin amazing.

The service was really rough. It seemed like they kept swapping servers and having people hover instead of assigning a single server to a table. As a result, it seemed like each server assumed that another server had helped us.

We had to track someone down yo order drinks after waiting 15 mins.

Our son ordered noodles, and we asked for parmesan. After 5 mins, we asked another server for parmesan. After 5 more mins, we tracked down a 3rd server to order parmesan. At which point, it finally came.

After getting our food, we asked the runner to send our server so we could order drinks with our entree. Nobody came. We tracked down a different server to order drinks with our entree.

They half cleared our plates after our entrees. Then another server came by to ask if we wanted to put in our order for starters and entrees, not realizing we had finished and we're waiting for dessert. This was obviously not an issue but just a general example of the clear confusion of the servers.

The prices are very high here. At this price point, there needs to be much better service. Whatever service model they're using they need to scrap.

I had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant in the Beverly Hills Hotel, and let me tell ya, it was an exceptional experience. The food was downright exquisite; every dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. Plus, the ambiance of the place was something else—full of elegance and charm that truly captures the essence of Beverly Hills.

What really made the lunch unforgettable was the incredible performance by the pianist, Patricia. She treated us to some sweet tunes, creating a magical atmosphere that went hand in hand with the delicious food and the surroundings. I gotta say, it’s a place I’ll definitely be coming back to, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.

DO NOT BUY ANYONE A GIFT FROM THIS PLACE. The recipient will show up and be asked to pay. The certificates are false advertising and a complete scam.

We came with a certificate for "Sunday Brunch for Two at the Polo Lounge" then when it was time to pay they tell us that our gift certificate does not cover what it clearly states it covers.

We came at the right time, ordered only off the correct menu, then were told to pay despite the certificate covering the meal.

You'd expect more from what is meant to be a luxury hotel.

See photo clearly stating what is covers and know we went on a Sunday at 2:00 and were served the prefix menu only.

I made reservations months in advance for my mom’s birthday, specifically requesting an outdoor table. However, we were seated inside, despite numerous open tables outside that remained unoccupied throughout our meal. My pancakes were disappointing, and the desserts were equally unsatisfactory. Overall, the service was extremely poor.

Came here a couple of weeks ago and despite empty booths and tables elsewhere we were seated directly next to the kitchen with clanking plates, pots, and pans so loud I could barely hear my wife.

About fifteen minutes later a waiter appears for his first of two appearances in the forty five minutes we are there.

We ask him if we can be moved somewhere where we could hear each other. He looked around and said he couldn't. I was already discussing leaving with my wife previously and we were sold on it at that point. I think our waiter could detect this and said he'd go ask the host.

We were promptly moved to what I would say is the best booth in the entire restaurant. I've dined here many times over the years - I hope my opinions are worth something.

We looked at the menu and made our decision but by the time the waiter arrived we'd been there for forty five minutes and decided to leave. We explained the situation to our waiter.

"Sorry". He said as he left in a huff without another word. His departure was no surprise. We seemed an inconvenience to him from the start. Not a smile or any gesture of warmth from him the whole night. The hostesses seemed hardly bothered when we informed them of our troubles on the way out. The only person that night who did seem to care was an older French waiter who I believe is the head waiter. I've seen him there over the years and he has been excellent at his job every time we've had him as a waiter. He did seem to understand and care that we received bad service and for that I'm grateful.

For a place that sells dover sole for a hundred dollars (nearly) I'd expect the staff to act like they give a hoot but I didn't see it on that night and so I took my business to BOA Steakhouse down the boulevard where the service and food were as flawless as they have been the many times I've dined there.

On food + atmosphere: I've eaten here enough to know that the food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is impeccable. No honest person could really argue otherwise. But, as it goes, it was all ruined by one waiter with a bad attitude.

I will add that the winter is a better time to dine here from my experience. Because at 8pm on a Saturday summer night the staff here were absolutely spent. I blame the management. If employees can't or won't do their job well it's usually a bad boss that's behind their broken morale and it certainly was a bad morale kind of night. Could also be the clientele. The ultra rich are on the whole an insufferable and entitled lot. They alone are enough to drive anyone insane. Just walk down Beverly Dr at 5pm and you'll see it from the way they drive. I was mistaken for one of them that night I think. Which is understandable. I'm sure the rest of their tables were just that for the most part and that my needs were too much at that point.

Our poor waiter was sweating so profusely I was afraid his sweat would drip into my food. Can the Sultan not afford A/C and a second shift staff for the peak season? Sad! A profoundly disappointing performance from a Dorchester collection hotel and supposedly the best spot in BH (South Beverly Grill would like a word!). To anyone who works hard and values a place where people actually care then based on my experience tonight I'd advise you to look elsewhere for a place more deserving of your business.

My advice to anyone who is not a millionaire is that this place as it was tonight is not worth your money and there are much better places in Los Angeles to spend a night of celebration. If you get bad service anywhere don't be afraid to let them know and walk out. We did just that and it saved our hard earned Saturday night. The pianist that night was phenomenal, though.

Los Angeles has always been on the map when it comes to food and entertainment. Having since moved out of Los Angeles, it’s always such a great time going back and indulging in the culture. Sadly, this trip back was such a lackluster experience. I was stoked to try out Polo Lounge seeing it was so highly recommended but now I get why. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not longer a local so I fall into the category of tourist nowadays but it definitely seems like most reviews are left by tourists. When you set the bar so high you almost feel bad not leaving a good review as a tourist because you want to be part of what’s popping off. A place of this caliber should not be leaving a patron wanting fast food. Food was below subpar and I literally felt like I could have gotten something better at Long John Silvers. Dessert was okay but nothing to write home about. Seating is far too close to other tables especially with the staff weaving in and out the whole time. All in all, for a $300+ dinner, other than the expected good service and presentation, this place is way overrated, overpriced, and honestly, not even good. Spare your change and just go hit up a taqueria. Haha. Literally wish we had after eating here.

Polo Lounge in the renowned Beverly Hills hotel was our destination for Father's Day with my wife and friends. Our favorite waitress, Michelle, who we know from a popular jazz location in the area, invited us to this tropical haven. We were seated outside in a booth often reserved for celebrities, surrounded by lush greenery and warm smiles. The live music was nice and inviting. The food was exceptional, particularly the tender steak and delicious scrambled eggs. Wifey enjoyed the chicken and waffle, complimenting the juicy chicken. Our drinks, lemon drops, whiskey sour, and espresso martinis were also impressive. Chef Joshua and his team provided attentive and accommodating service, making our experience truly memorable. It’s a nice place, but it feels like some things haven’t been repaired in a while. The women’s restroom has an unpleasant smell. The hanger in my stall was snatched off, and the door handles were rusty.
The dining room is not very spacious: people are constantly bumping into each other. The biggest downside of this place is that you probably won’t get the best treatment if you’re not upper class. They won’t say anything but you’ll feel like you don’t belong by the way you are served. Also, I wouldn’t expect to get served fast. I really liked live music and the atmosphere of the 60s Hollywood. I would highly suggest this place to make some repairs (as the current condition of the place doesn’t really match its level) and train their staff to be more friendly. The food is solid, but overpriced. You’re mostly paying for the class.

She went out of her way to make sure she could do everything possible to make her mother's birthday special, and she called multiple times and talked to multiple people to make sure everything was precisely specifically nuanced. But when we showed up it was an absolute disaster from beginning to end, and she blames it all on "that chirpy dunce" who made the reservation. The reservation woman didn't notate the special occasion, she didn't notate the allergies, she didn't notate the guest count correctly, she didn't notate that the check should not be dropped for the group so that it could be handled discreetly by my wife or myself so the siblings did not feel uncomfortable due to current financial difficulty, etc. The reservation woman made this a disaster, and I have never wished more for someone to lose their job, but this person very much deserves it!!!

We had been looking forward to our lunch on the patio for several months. We were a little early for our reservation so we joined the bartender Jet for a drink. He was great and made me an excellent jalapeno gimlet ( I think ) our other drink was excellent too. We had great and friendly service. Unfortunately that service didn't extend to the patio.

Our server never asked if we wanted any drinks. After he took our order he went MIA. My empty water glass looking for a refill eventually I flagged down someone to fill it up.
The chopped salad was excellent. Great dressing and bursting with flavor. The pasta Bolognese, well I know it had meat in there but for $56 I shouldn't need a magnifying glass to find it. Should I have said something to our server. Had he ever came by before we were 3/4 done with lunch maybe I would have but alas he still was someplace that wasn't on the patio.
For someplace that has been around as long as it has and charges what it does, It shouldn't be a lot to expect attentive service. Just to show I'm not just someone who posts poor reviews, go check my review of where we had dinner the following night. Mina in las Vegas. That staff is well prepared and attentive.
Very disappointed in the service at the polo lounge patio and the food left me with a wondering how that meet might have tasted. Next time we stay at the bar with Jet

The restaurant is WAY above my budget, but my mom went there years ago and remembers how beautiful it was so I wanted to take her there. We ended up going there for Sunday brunch. Although the hotel and restaurant are beautiful, the visit was a huge disappointment.

First thing: When we entered the staff determined we weren't young, attractive, or rich so they sat us in the back corner indoors next to 2 families each with a crying baby. One or both babies were crying until the families left. The young. attractive, rich people were outside on the patio. Also, everything I read recommended making a reservation but there were plenty of empty tables the entire time we were there - inside and outside. They sat us at a booth that could have fit 3-4 people while we were only 2.

Second thing: Before we went there I was looking at the breakfast and lunch menus. I didn't think the Sunday brunch menu was different but it turns out it is. It's a fixed price 3 course meal (appetizer, entree, desert) that's $155 per person (after tax and tip it's about $200 per person). The brunch menu only has about a third of what's on the breakfast menu and a third of what's on the lunch menu. The items I was interested in weren't on the brunch menu. Also, apparently, everyone isn't required to order from the brunch menu. I saw a pizza on a table close to me although it wasn't on ANY menu (maybe it was on a kids menu, I don't know) and I watched a couple come in, didn't even look at the menu, and ordered 1 thing for each person (no appetizer and no dessert that I saw).

Third thing: It seems like they spend more time making the plates look good that making them taste good. The food I got was ready for an Instagram photo, but tasted average. I decided on the "lobster rolls royce" for my entree. It was a roll with a little bit of lobster on the top and some very bland french fries on the side. My desert was the smallest piece of cheesecake I have ever received at a restaurant. My mom didn't like her food much either.
Maybe if I had ordered the item from the breakfast menu or the lunch menu that I thought would be good I would have liked it better (it would have definitely been cheaper).

Overall, the beautiful old-Hollywood atmosphere isn't worth paying $200 a person for food that's just OK.

To bad EVERY SINGLE time I go to the bar, there is a Hispanic barman who keeps ignoring me, because he is talking to guys at the bar about girls, or talks to girls. Tonight again, the bar was empty. 2 people at the bar. One was his friend and this barman kept talking about girls and girls, very rude and totally inappropriate while I waited over 5 minutes and still after 5 minutes he didn't say hello and I wasn't able to order my food and drinks. This happened 3 other times already. Tonight I walked out. I refused to go to the bar and eat there because of this waiter many times. I would go in and walk out if he would be there. Tonight I gave it another chance. What a mistake. He will let you wait. Girls and trash talk are more important. WHY is he still working there. The other 2 barmen who work there are great.

Outrageously priced, for obvious reasons. Tortilla soup is to die for. Great place to go if you want to witness “Hollywood power lunches.” Why was the carpeting all stained by our table? It looked like a murder had taken place. I wish I had taken photos of it.😹

The bar at the polo lounge is where you should spend your time. I took the bar tender’s recommendation to order the chicken parmigiana and I was glad I did. My friend’s entrees of the mushroom risotto and pasta in clam sauce lacked luster. Most of our food wasn’t hot and overall not worth the price.

We asked to have the music turned on, granted we were early in reservations, but it felt clear the patio was not equal to the experience happening inside. The inside dining room with its wonderful decor and live music may have improved our experience.

Prices for the soup and also dessert were also not worth it.

Walking around before and after dinner were way more interesting than where we ate.

Overall the price point is not worth it and there’s more fun and delicious choices elsewhere.

We visited the Polo Lounge for dinner having made a long standing reservation.

Our reservation was for 20.30. The restaurant was full at this time and we were advised to return in ten minutes and we would be seated. Not a great start ~ what is the point in making a reservation if it cannot or will not be honoured?

Returning ten minutes later, as advised, the host then told us there was still no table available and we were asked to wait at the bar. Whilst the barman was friendly and professional, the bar area needed a good clean as there were used straws lying about and food on the floor.

At around 21.10 (40 minutes after our arrival and reservation time!) we were finally seated at a booth table in the restaurant. Unfortunately we were then ignored… the waiter in our section was clearly unable to manage the 4 or 5 tables he had, as we heard others complaining about incorrect drinks and being unable to attract attention in order to settle the bill.

At around 21.30, one full hour after arriving (and by this point very hungry) we decided to cut our losses and leave. I have never before had cause to walk out of a restaurant, especially not one purporting to be a place of quality and tradition (and you will see from my other reviews we are regular diners in “nice” restaurants).

AVOID! There are much better places to spend your time and money in LA.

Visited on a Friday evening with a reservation for dinner at 2030. Arrived promptly at 2020 and was told we'd be seated shortly and to have a drink at the bar or wait in the lounge. After 15 minutes we returned and were told the table should be available soon and to have a drink at the bar which, on this occasion we did. Drinks were good although the bar area was untidy (napkins and chips on the floor etc). Come 2100 we still hadn't been seated but eventually were shown to a table. Fast forward another 20 minutes and staff hadn't acknowledged us. So, having finished our drinks and witnessed a table struggling to pay and another table with an incorrect order, we left. We offered the host cash for the drinks we'd had but this was declined: the only positive customer service we'd received.

For a restaurant which is expected to excel at service and quality we were left very disappointed.

The menu offered a delightful array of American classics with a modern twist, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The ambiance, with its soft lighting and live piano, created an intimate atmosphere that made the evening truly special. It’s no wonder this place is a favorite among celebrities; dining here made me feel like one too. ☺️

The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring every detail was perfect.

A surreal experience to say the least. This iconic venue has been featured in so many movies I’ve seen growing up. Truly a pleasure and it lived up to the expectations. The service was impeccable. The aesthetic pleasure was unmatched. We had breakfast right after flying into LA, first stop. The fresh orange juice was wonderful. Eggs, hash browns, bacon and the bread were amazing. It’s relatively well priced given the history of this place. I will be returning many times again and recommend you try as well! They also are very accommodating, I had set a reservation for 10:15am and because of the marathon going on at that time I was going to arrive late. When I called to let them know, they were very understanding.

A great place to celebrate a birthday. I thought the food might be mediocre because the hotel restaurant possibly rely on their iconic status to draw in tourists, but instead the food was top notch. I had a cosmopolitan cocktail, parmesan truffle fries, NY steak au poivre, a glass of Moet champagne and a slice of chocolate birthday cake. It was all delish and served at just the right temperature. The waiter was really kind and thoughtful. Reserve far in advance to get a garden terrace seat, it is worth the effort!

The Polo Room is a non-negotiable dining experience when we are visiting Beverly Hills. Whether it’s for a work meeting or to have a mommy-daughter breakfast, the staff is always very attentive, anticipating needs, and making wonderful recommendations if you need help choosing from the menu. Michelle and Walter were so helpful, they even helped with recommendations to new places we hadn’t been to while visiting. The lemon ricotta pancakes were very fluffy. I would suggest sharing them with someone else who orders an egg dish or just ordering a single cake. My friend ordered the huevos rancheros and loved it. Our girls enjoyed their chocolate milks, and the kids menu.

VINTAGE BEVERLY HILLS AMBIANCE WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE

We made reservations for a Friday night as first timers there. The vintage feel of the hotel wreaked of historic Beverly Hills and glamour.

Our server Iunitz was amazing, simply stellar.

We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday over a nice dinner and this has always been on her to do list.

We had perfect seats close to the pianist who played classical tunes all night.

Will be back for Iunitz and got outdoor seating in the garden area once the weather breaks.

Edit: This is an edit to the our recent review.
After a negative experience, we were contacted by hotel management not only with a very
professional apology but with an expressed concern that every guest has a great
experience at the Polo Lounge. They handled our concerns in a very professional manner
and changed our mind about who they really are with the most perfect experience a guest
could have at our next visit! We were blown away with our experience. Perfection in every
aspect: from arriving, to how our reservation was handled, to service, to drinks and to
food. An experience we had become accustomed to from the Beverly Hills Hotel and the
reason we have been patrons for many years.
Thanks very much to hotel management and staff. We will most definitely be back!

We have been coming to the Polo Lounge for years and especially enjoy visiting the hotel during the holiday season. When we arrived 12/1/23 we were disappointed at the quality of service within the polo lounge. My wife and I both work in the service industry and if any of my locations would be managed in this manner, the manger would be out of a job! There were 4 tables of guests and no one had any service for 20+ minutes while a couple of waiters were racing to accommodate folks in the backroom. No One spoke to any of the guests in the lounge area, the receptionists were trying to figure things out and when I asked if this was self service today, she responded "yes". Wow! At the BH Hills hotel!!! When I walked up to the bar to get us a cocktail, the bartender mentioned that there was a waiter taking orders, when I replied no one waited on any of us and we were told it was self service, the barely english speaking bartender said -he never heard of that! What an embarrassment for a hotel of this caliber! No manager around to observe and correct. The two $30 drinks were horrible! I remember the days when Perry the bartender blew away guests with uniquely mixed cocktails, but those times are over and all good things come to an end.

I imagined this place would just be a pretty place with bland food but I was wrong.

Not only is the restaurant so beautiful, but the service and food were beyond.

We arrived 45 minutes earlier than our reservation on a Saturday night. The restaurant was bustling and looked to be about 80% full.

I asked the hostess if it was possible to get in earlier. She looked at her book and said she would be able to seat us in the patio. Which is where we wanted to be so it worked out great.

We ordered the McCarthy Salad and Chicken Parm. Both were so good!!

The way the salad was chopped made it really neat and easier to eat.

Chicken parm was perfect and creamy but so clean tasting.

The pink drink!!🩷🩷😻😻 I can't remember the name. But it was the yummiest alcoholic drink I've ever had.

Waiters are all on point and always checked in etc.

The chocolate souffle was sooooooo goooood.
