We had a great time at this bistro, because of their delicious desserts. The service was friendly, and our order came quickly. The Black Out Dark Chocolate Cake was absolutely delightful and my favorite among the desserts we tried.

We were at Porta Via, Beverly Hills last night and our dinner experience was one of the best. All the dishes were delicious as well as the cocktails (The Bar Flower Martini was the best). I can't forget to mention the desserts which are exquisite. The atmosphere of the place is very pleasant and the service was the best with the Manager/Waiter Martin who was always attentive to make sure we didn't lack anything on the table. A place to enjoy alone, as a couple or with the family. I would like to give them 100 ⭐️⭐️⭐️. We are coming back soon. 100% Recommended!!!

They began cleaning the table, when each glass or plate emptied; which meant they showed up at our table 20 times in a short period of time. They kept interrupting our discussions. They told my friend to not talk, while another friend was ordering. The food was edible, maybe even good (not great) but for the prices they charge, it needed to be better. The pastas were overcooked and nothing really seemed to have been prepared fresh. Don’t waste your money. Don’t go.

Breakfast solid 2.9 / 5.0 - Just meh food with attentive but sloppy service.
For breakfast food like this I can just go to a diner. It's quite un-special and lacks flavor. Bacon is basically deep fried to a crisp, eggs & pancakes were basic but fine, everything else was fine. Coffee tastes good but was just seemed like the waiter didn't care, was very rushed (even though they weren't busy) and twice over poured coffee and didn't return to clean it up.
Didn't care for the style of the waiter (rushed and disinterested, seemed like he doesn't enjoy job) but the helpers were great. Nice white table clothes and nice setting.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions and have never had a great experience. Guests are greeted very warmly and politely and it all stops there. Once guests are seated, it takes a while for a server to take the order. The food has always been lukewarm at best. Once the food is brought to the table, nobody will ever approach you to ask about your order or if there is anything else they can get. And good luck on asking for anything before and after your meal is brought to the table! Your request will be ignored and ignored! Try it for yourself

The place only has customers who don’t want to wait in line for the restaurant next to it. The food is below average and the customer service is non existent. Our waiter disappeared on us for 15 minutes before taking order, we had to complain, he then came and asked if we now are ready to order as if it was our fault. He then kept pushing for us to order the wine and ignored guest requests during the serving. Do not recommend.

Oh my goodness. Where do I begin? We had to resort to this place bc Il Pastaio down the street had to long of a wait. This was arguably the worst dining experiences of my life. We waited for 20-30 minutes for server to even come greet us and take our order. Out of nowhere, a giant roach crawls all over our table. That was upsetting but out of their control so we let it slide.

Then, the food finally comes. Oh my god. I ordered the bolognese pasta and it was straight up cold and tasted like frozen pasta. My dad ordered the burger and it looked like inedible. The food was so bad we did not even want to look at the dessert menu.

Overall, terrible experience. Pretentious crowd and terrible food and service.

It was my first time being there, the tables were too close,we felt like that the other party are dining with us,we can hear their conversation.The drink were over price, the taste was not great.The waitress did not even offer a refill, they were rushing us ,even though it was not busy.I ordered the branzino,the quantity was ridiculous small ,and the side I couldn't even eat.
. After we finished the waiter jumped into conclusions that we were not tipping, since we were going to pay in cash.She bursted with attitude, NO TIP.
My son was so embarrassed not leaving him time to say anything.
We complained to the manager, all he said that he will talk to her,since he was pretty sure her actions were unintentional. I WILL NEVER DINE HERE AGAIN

I’m visiting the area and saw the menu here and had to try. This place was absolutely spectacular. Everyone was so kind and attentive, and the food was to die for! 100% recommend to try out. The outside dining area was so comfortable and it is in a beautiful spot in the Beverly Hills area. Absolutely have to go again!

Been here a couple times. It’s a decent spot for dinner. Food is good. Tonight my wife had the caesar salad and I had the spicy rigatoni, I wish I had gotten the salad as well.
Really only leaving this review to give kudos to our server Julia, who was fantastic. She was so friendly and attentive, which is hard to come by here in BH.

There are lots of amazing restaurants in Beverly Hills with pleasant employees, great food, and wonderful service. Porta Via is not one of them. Absolutely terrible service. Ordered the branzino - the smallest piece of fish with 3 spears of asparagus. Manager emailed me offering to make up for the horrible behavior of the host but didn't follow through on his offer.

Honestly one of the worst places I've ever eaten.

Service was very slow and the team weren't attentive at all. The manager was screaming at staff behind us.

The food was disgusting, not even one member of our party finished their food. The lobster ravioli was questionable, the short rib was too sweet, the vodka pasta had a very questionable taste to it - they were definitely using old sauce or old ingredients. Was gross. The nachos were a joke, they gave not even a handful of chips and carrots with it, I've never been served a portion that looked as embarrassing as that. Caesar salad wasn't actually a caesar salad, there were no croutons, it was just lettuce in a very nasty sauce.

For a restaurant in such a prime high end location, honestly disgraceful providing that quality of food.

Bare in mind we were starving, we hadn't eaten all day so anything would've tasted good, but it was really that bad.

I HIGHLY recommend you walk straight past and just make your way to il pastaio and save yourself the heartbreak of wasting your money on a horrific dining experience.

The choice of either inside or outside seating is nice. China plates, good utensils, white tablecloths and napkins all lend to a nice dining experience. The food was good, but could be seasoned a bit more. Seems to be a bit on the bland side to accommodate a wider group of people. Had the Neapolitan Omelet while my dad had the Bistro Burger which was overcooked from the requested Medium-Rare, but not to the point of sending it back. We both had fruit smoothies which were great, but small for the price. Overall a good experience if you don't mind the high prices. (The Non-alcohol brunch listed above was $72 before tip for 2 people.)

Unfortunately, much like La Scala next to, it's just not very good. The food is perfectly adequate if one is shopping nearby and one wants to eat something but it's certainly not worth it as a destination.

The calamari fritti was pretty tasteless and mediocre. I'd normally have sent it back but did not wish to embarrass the friend who invited me. Salad of no interest. The zucchini pasta was good but much too watery.

Very expensive for the quality but then again they have BH rent to pay. Service was excellent.

Mediocre food, lackluster service.
The branzino was just ok but nothing special. The ceasar salad was flavorless. The service is sorely lacking, the bathroom was dirty with a broken sink.

Horrible service for my pickup order.
They didn’t have in stock what I ordered, so they substituted for something I didn’t want, even though it clearly stated to “CONTACT ME” if something was unavailable.
Upon pickup and realizing my order was all wrong, the workers had no sympathy and looked crazy and annoyed.
The food was basic quality and not something I would eat again.

MANAGEMENT, take off items from the menu if you are out of them for several weeks! If I had known this, I would’ve got my food elsewhere.

The ambiance was superb, and the beef patty in the hamburger was juicy and delicious – I loved it! Several of my Chinese friends who were with me are fluent in Spanish, so they directly communicated with the Latin American server in Spanish. The server was very friendly and even provided complimentary bread before the meal.

Go for the eclectic crowd of BH locals to media entertainment executives and talent. Small enough to be intimate but large enough to have your own space. Food is fresh, unique with LA flair. A great place to enjoy lunch or dinner. Guaranteed to impress without being flashy.

Was there just after lunch hours after looking at reviews in the general area for good restaurants. Can't tell what kind of theme it is other than typical Western food.
Food was OK, nothing to shout about. Service was up to par but we happened to witness a ruckus from another patron who was arguing with the server about his dietary restrictions.

There is a elder waiter here is very rude. We ordered food and drinks and ask for the WiFi code, he is keep asking 5 or 10 and kind of forcing me to choose one. I was asking several times what is the 5, 10 means? Is that means 5 or 10 doors? He just ignored me and keep saying “ just choose a number”.

I surprised they charge for the Wifi, and they can just tell me it cost 5 or 10 dollars straight way. Don’t know why they playing this scene which kinda made me feel uncomfortable.
