I wanted to have breakfast at The Cabana Cafe. We were 2 people. It was almost 11:30 am. The lady at the front desk showed us a table under the sun. I asked her that we were gonna have breakfast and leave. Can’t you put us on a table that not under the sun. She said “They are fully booked” But it was fully empty. And she said she could nothing to do. This is a bad impression for a business. Your workers are so rude.

I regret to report that our recent visit to your establishment fell short of our expectations. The pricing of the dishes seemed disproportionately high relative to the quality offered, and unfortunately, the eggs Benedict I ordered featured overcooked ham, making it difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the English muffin was overly toasted, leaving me to only consume the eggs and fruit. My daughter’s omelette was dry and lacked flavor. We specifically chose your venue for my daughter's 18th birthday, highlighting her desire for a special breakfast, which was communicated both verbally and in our reservation notes. Despite this acknowledgment upon our arrival, she did not receive the expected slice of birthday cake, as depicted in online reviews. Very disappointing experience.

Was excited to try this place but had a very under-whelming brunch experience.

Ordered 2 eggs that came with a small side salad and added a grilled salmon filet ($31 for the eggs plus $26 to add the salmon). Received smoked salmon instead of grilled. It took 20 minutes more to receive the correct item, in which time my eggs were cold and my friend was eating alone. Asked for new eggs prior to the salmon even showing up and still could not get the new eggs out with the salmon hot at the same time, so before the salmon started going cold I ate it with the cold eggs.

The salmon unfortunately smelled bad and was undercooked. The side salad which I asked for dressing on the side also came with dressing mixed in. I asked for the eggs over medium but received over easy. The second set of eggs which were supposed to be free were added to the bill and I had to ask for them to be taken off.

The waiter was nice and the salmon was also taken off which I was happy with but even with that it cost $130 for 2 eggs, a side salad, 1 piece of avocado toast, and 2 coffees. Not worth it for all the hassle as there was no atmosphere and the place was dead at 11:30am on a Sunday.

Celebrity treatment. It’s a wicked spot for a real Beverly Hills experience, great for photos and the food is really great too! Openly it’s double the price of most places around but your paying for the vibe! I’d recommend Uber as you have to pay $30 including tip for valet! I would also recommend arriving at a decent time as it gets shaded around 4.30! Finding your way down to the cafe is a little bit of a trek but it’s cool to check out the hotel it’s beautiful. It’s a must visit.. but good to know what your in store for..

The Cabana Cafe in Los Angeles is a charming and welcoming location that provides a welcome escape from the city's bustle. This cafe is in a lovely setting and has a laid-back, tropical vibe that makes it the ideal place for a leisurely lunch or a fast pick-me-up.

The Cabana Cafe's menu offers a wide selection of delectable dishes, from light salads and filling sandwiches to exquisite smoothies and unique coffee drinks. Each meal is thoughtfully prepared with high-quality, fresh ingredients, creating a wonderful blend of flavors that are pleasing to the tongue.

Two or three tables are occupied, almost 10 employees are around, they don't bother to collect the excess on your table, the service is very slow. You have to make an effort to take care of the table. They forget to enter the order. Despite all this, if it is an American culture to demand the service fee openly, it is necessary to give proper service and demand it. Unfortunately, the food tastes the same. The only good thing is the design of the hotel.

Located in the Beverly Hills Hotel. You dine pool side with the gentle breeze blowing. I have had a lot of avocado toast but this was the best, perfectly seasoned with an egg plopped on top. Fresh juices, chai latte which is not always an option- yum, yum an yum. What a beautiful location to take a break at.

My dream to stay at this hotel but due to effects of inflation my husband and I decided to eat there instead. I love the vintage preppy vibe of it. The servers wear preppy tennis outfits. Really nice service. During the holidays the place was adorned with real Poinsettia flowers and gilded holiday ornaments. Very festive so I'm happy I went a couple days before Christmas. I wasn't cold at all, the temp that day was high 60s. I am not too sure but I think we got a Marilyn Monroe inspired drink, french onion soup, quesadilla and burger. My burger was impossible meat. Food was great!

Review №53

Ridiculous prices. Come here for the ambience. There's 2h parking on Crescent Drive.

Not much is worth it except for the cookie skillet and smoothies. Think of them as the price of admission to the tourist spot. Club sandwich is also OK - they give a surprisingly large amount.

If you're rich enough to afford these prices without worrying, then you're probably not reading this review.

Went here for breakfast and ended up spending more than $200 for 2 people. We got mimosas/ coffee, omelettes and toast which all ended up just ok. The service was subpar, I spilled my coffee and the waitress only handed me a flimsy cocktail napkin to clean it up myself. I know the hotel is supposed to reflect old Hollywood or whatever but I felt I was having breakfast in someone's grandma's patio. I guess to go there once to experience it is ok but I'll definitely not be returning when next I'm in the area. Nothing special

Such a beautiful iconic hotel. I made reservations for lunch at the Cabana Club since I wanted to spoil myself a little. There was a little mix up with my food, something I wasn’t too bothered by, and the manager informed me that they ended up taking my food off the bill. It wasn’t necessary but a welcomed surprise.

There is 2 hour street parking on the side of the road and due to COVID you can only limit your stay at the Cabana Club for 90 min, so depending on how long you plan to eat you’ll have plenty of time to walk around the hotel and look at The Pink Palace.

Way too overpriced and not great for reputation and location. Service is okay but food & drink items are nothing special.
