Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s eatery with New American fare on the Waldorf Astoria rooftop.
I had an amazing lunch at The Rooftop at Beverly Hills! The views were stunning and decor of the restaurant was nice. It was easy to make a reservation and change it when I was running late. I ordered the Caesar Salad and Smah Burger. Both were excellent and the portions were generous! Adrian (busboy) was attentive and checked in multiple times to ensure I was enjoying my food and visit. Since I was dinning alone, he also offered to take some photos for me which, I appreciated! Overall, I had a lovely experience and would return to The Rooftop at Beverly Hills again.

At the heart of Beverly Hills, this restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria is remarkably nice rooftop with best view of Los Angeles. The food is a little bit asian + american. We ordered a pad thai, pepper steak, grilled octopus and mac n cheese. I liked mac and cheese and the octopus. Beef was like mongolian and a little bit salty but not bad. Server Bill was friendly and the staff at the bar and the vallet was nice. But when I asked which elevator to access the rooftop at the front, the woman at the left said turn around and go this way and the attitude was not quite gentle, I was about to say thank you have a good evening but she said nothing. I think AI is much better than this person at the front.

When you arrive there your best option to find parking in Beverly Hills location is to do valet parking. There was no better spot to get it than here. One of the best rooftops you can go to in Los Angeles. Had a great business meeting pulling up to this spot. I would definitely recommend coming here with friends and family. You got to schedule an appointment to get seated at the top or u can just chill at the bar location. Tell them Hussain sent ya. I plan on coming by here again sometime this month.

The food and service were amazing, topped off by the incredible views of the LA skyline. Whilst the night was a little pricey (we did have cocktails and wine though)... and when you convert to Aus $... but it was an amazing experience and again, the food was fresh, delicious, and a wonderful change to the excessive fast food style eating offered elsewhere. The sashimi was incredible. Highly recommended! ❤️

Delicious dinner and amazing views. This rooftop restaurant has some of the best views of Los Angeles, and the food did not disappoint. The service was great, and the DJ made the atmosphere so enjoyable with fun music to listen to as you look at the skyline. We ordered the Guacamole, Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, and Tuna Tartare as appetizers and they were all delicious. Possibly the best tuna I've had. For dinner we got the Salmon and the Lobster Burger and they were both phenomenal. The Brookie for dessert topped with vanilla mochi ended off the meal perfectly. Great night.

Our check was 250$ for two people plus valet and and the tips. I have no problem with paying the bill.
My server disappeared only checked on us twice: We gave the busser a 29$ bill for the help: the server we did not leave anything.
He had the nerve to come to me at the elevator to ask for a tip. Asked if I left cash. Told me I can’t have a 250$ bill and not tip. If the service is good I’ll tip. Service was terrible. I am the manger of a 5 star hotel within 10 minutes from this location.

We’ve been here many times, and it’s always been incredible. The drinks are always 10/10, and service you can’t even rate.
My husband and I were sitting at the bar, and I assume the bar staff saw I was a bit cold, so Felix went out of his way and grabbed me a blanket and put it on me to warm me up. I really appreciated that and made my experience here 12/10. Such a small thing can make a big difference in someone’s experience.
Thank you so much Felix and your staff for such a great experience!

This place is SO BEAUTIFUL. The windows that surround the restaurant are clean so the view is NOT obstructed and it offers 180 degree views of the LA city. The service was excellent. I had the Spicy Tuna Rice, average, nothing I haven’t tried before and the Double Smash Burger that comes with fries. Simple but tasty. I will 100% be returning. Thank you everyone at The Rooftop Beverly Hills!

The restaurant views were awesome as told to me by others. Afraid of heights so I didn't look. 😄 The food was delicious. But there was an incident. I shared my food allergies early on and questioned what was in the food and placed my order. At first bite, I knew it included ingredients I was allergic to. The server apologized, and the manager came to check on me and offered to call paramedics. All was alright and was made right.

It was more casual than I expected. You could see hotel guests almost in their PJs having dinner with their kids as well as people who had dressed up for a night out.
Not saying that it's good or bad, but if this is your night out with your person, be aware that it the scene may not be what you expect.

Havent even had a chance to get the experience of the restaurant where It was absolute disappointment from the valet. Smh we were told they dont have parking when the car behind us got better treatment. Then we called hotel and restaurant to see why we cant give our car to valet - we were told that they have an availability at the moment and we can route back. No thank you. The valet guy was unprofessional individual who could have been a bit better at what he does. Rating this place 0/10.

I was a regular at JG in Shanghai on the bund and wanted to see how this JG compared — it did not disappoint.
Views are great here almost 365 of the city. I prefer it over SoHo House as it’s more open air yet feels more private.
Food was really good as expected. Service was great, everything was served fast and the staff was extremely attentive

Atop the beautiful Waldorf Astoria hotel with panoramic views of Beverly Hills and Hollywood from 12 stories high. An impeccably garden walkway to the restaurant starts the vibe.
The Rooftop by JG is one of the largest of its kind in Beverly Hills.
Starting off with Forbes five star hostess Hannah who moved our party to a better table without asking.
The tequila mockingbird cocktail was probably the best drink I've ever had.... Pricey, but worth it!
Our gregarious and attentive server Harmony recommended the Sashimi with spicy white Ponzu appetizer and it was a home run!
Everyone from the bartenders to the wait staff were spot on, highly recommended! We'll be back

Went here on Fathers' day 2024. The view was spectacular & the hostess had a nice disposition. She also had to bus our table prior to seating us. We got the lobster burger & Spicy Thai burger. The food & drinks were delicious & strong. I'd give them a 10/10. However, our server Jade was a 0/10. She took 10 min to come & acknowledge us. Meanwhile the party we checked in with had already ordered drinks with their server. We had to ask a bus person for water since Jade was MIA. She didn't even check on us once! We had to ask another bus person for a salt shaker & someone else re-filled our water glasses. JADE did absolutely NOTHING! At these prices, service should be top notch! My friends who frequent this restaurant rave about the service so unfortunately, we must have gotten the one bad server they have. I'm usually a generous tipper but tipping Jade 10% was for the hostess & bus people who actually worked. I'd definitely come back for the view & food/drinks but never again subject myself to the poor service Jade exhibits! The poor service from Jade makes this restaurant less desirable when compared to similar establishments. There are too many other nice restaurants in LA that offer outstanding service, great food/drinks & beautiful aesthetics.

Perched atop the Waldorf Astoria, Rooftop by JG elevates the Los Angeles skyline experience. As the sun dips below the Hollywood Hills, this high-altitude haven becomes a sanctuary for the city's tastemakers. The ambiance, a symphony of chic and cosmopolitan, mirrors the energy pulsing through the veins of the City of Angels. The panoramic views stretch from Downtown's glittering lights to the vast expanse of the Pacific, a visual feast rivaling the culinary delights crafted by JG's skilled chefs. In this sky-high sanctuary, sophistication meets the unmistakable swagger of Los Angeles, making Rooftop by JG a celestial destination where the stars above compete with the stars below.

I’ve taken so many people here because I think it has the absolute most stunning 360 degree views of pretty much ALL of Los Angeles. It’s so breathtaking that one of my friends I took there recently actually physically “gasped” as soon as the elevator doors opened and he caught a first small glimpse of the view!

Whether you are a local or a visitor, dining at the Rooftop by JG Restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria is a not-to-be missed outstanding culinary experience.
With sweeping 360-degree views of Downtown, Beverly Hills, Century City, West LA, Bel Air and Holmby Hills and more, it is simply a fantastic place to dine. I grew up in Westwood and drove down Wilshire Boulevard thousands of times and to see it from above is so special, too. The views from this restaurant show the intricate tapestry of Los Angeles architecture from small to mega-sized homes as well as sleek high-rise buildings and hotels. Love it! The weather was balmy today after a rainstorm and the cloud-filled sky was gorgeous.
Meanwhile, we thought that the food is creative, flavorful and absolutely delicious. This was my third visit to this restaurant and today we split a great hamburger with tasty and crispy fries along with a pear and frisée salad that was the perfect compliment to the burger. My husband had the salmon dish which he thoroughly enjoyed. We finished up with a plate of three different cookies which we also split. On our last visit, we had the Cobb Salad that was great, too. The service was attentive and excellent! We definitely appreciated their friendly and professional demeanor. The tables are well-spaced so you can truly enjoy interacting with your friends or family. We prefer al fresco dining these days and this was perfect!
This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. Highly recommended!

You are paying for the view, which is phenomenal. The food is mediocre and insanely expensive. Service can be weird and passive-aggressive, in stereotypical LA fashion. I ordered a Caesar salad that had like 3 tiny crumb croutons and no dressing, literally just bagged romaine. So strange because Jean Georges is an extremely reputable chef but I think this place only has his name because of location.

Went there with my family for dinner a couple weeks ago. Was totally underwhelmed with the menu. Not sure what it says about the menu but all four of us ended up ordering the Cobb salad for dinner because it was the only thing on the menu that we were interested in. It was a good salad but there was just nothing else on the menu that any of us wanted. Plus for some reason where I was sitting they had my chair and our table too far back so every single server and hostess and diners bumped me and my chair when they walked by our table. So I think I got hit at least 35 times while I was sitting there for two hours I kept mentioning it and no one did anything or moved our table at all. Nice view I think except I was facing the wall. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

Where else in Beverly Hills can you find these kind of gorgeous views, these scene stealing views pretty much overshadow everything else including the limited (and very pricey) menu and food selection.

Great atmosphere at the rooftop of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. You must try the lamb chops and the burrata here!
The lamb chops come with yoghurt, cucumber and lime which are excellent pairings.
The steak on the other hand was very ok, nothing special.
We booked for the experience for $150pp the service was good overall but when we wanted to order some more water, there was no one really looking out to see if we needed any. Had to really work to get someone’s attention which took away some of the focus on the meal and friends.
I wouldn’t recommended getting the experience because although it “guarantees an edge seat” we didn’t have an optimal view the first time (luckily changed to somewhere better) but we could’ve gotten similar outcomes without having booked the special experience. It is the same menu and same place and everything, so no added edge, really.

Awful service. Made you feel very unwelcome. The entire restaurant is very pretentious (and presumptuous/judgemental). They have a policy that you must order a full meal (which they don’t tell you until you are seated and order). They then make a fuss and chase you out, asking inappropriate questions. Definitely avoid. Plenty of other much nicer places at the same price point nearby.

He dared to lie that he was on a break after taking orders from nearby tables, saw us, and ignored us. The food was mediocre. However, the rooftop view was great that could be seen from other places. There are thousands of restaurants in LA with mediocre food with better service or bad service with better food.
After I requested no onions in my dishes, there were green onions.

The view is amazing as you could imagine from the rooftop. Open area seating is a breath of fresh air.
The pea soup has a gritty texture. You can taste the pea but it's not overpowering. The salmon is perfectly seared and not over seasoned. The oil and green onion sauce drizzled is an odd selection that doesn't match the rest of the dish. The cookies are a good dessert but they are a little too dense.

I try not to write negative reviews, but I felt like I was robbed after dining here. Everything was ridiculously overpriced, but I'm always willing to look past the price if the food is good. Sadly, it was not. I ordered the Miso Cod, which is supposed to be the chef's recommendation. It was bland, had little flavor, and was a very small fillet. The valet is $20 with validation as well. So for two mediocre entrees and one drink, we spent almost $200 plus valet and tip. Our waitress was very kind, but I think you could get more for your money virtually anywhere else in LA.
