The Hideaway is a Mexican Steak House in the heart of Beverly Hills. Located inside the Rodeo Collection on Rodeo Drive
What a gem to find off Rodeo Drive. We stopped in for lunch and were delighted. we were greeted with some fresh tortilla chips with sliced lemon and lime and fresh salt to flavor them and salsa. Ordered off the lunch menu where you had choices to pick for 3 course meal. We started off with an appetizer of fresh guacamole, and then for the three course meal I chose chicken empanadas, a Caesar salad, and to finish it off with a pink champagne sorbet. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. The chicken and bananas had a very tasty Molay to dip them in. They were very fresh and had lovely flavor next the Caesar salad came with some rice and beans, but they were separate and the black beans were fabulous. The rice was cooked perfectly. And finally, the pink champagne sorbet was a nice pallet cleanser to finish off the meal. I recommend this restaurant. The staff was so polite and hard-working.

I honestly don’t know what was better… the service, the vibe, or the incredible filet mignon! Even though this is a Mexican place, I was amazed by the variety of food and flavors you can find here. Leaving some photos so you can see what I mean :) Our server, Roberto also went above and beyond to make us feel good. 10/10.

The Hideaway in Beverly Hills was such a vibe! With its cute decor and romantic atmosphere, it set the perfect tone for the night. My friend Fernanda and I started with a champagne bottle and melt-in-your-mouth yellowtail sashimi, thanks to the super helpful staff who made menu recommendations. We followed it up with a perfectly cooked A5 steak. I took a chocolate cake to go, and when I got home—surprise! It had gorgeous gold designs and tasted incredible. A dreamy experience all around!

This place was absolutely amazing!! The bartender put love into every drink that was served. The food was so delicious I had the uno dos tres menu with the Tuna tartar, a Salmon Caesar salad, and for dessert the flan. Everything prepared to perfection! They even had bean dip that was vegan which was perfect for me. I definitely recommend making your reservation you won't regret it!

Hideaway is a little slice of paradise in LA. The Caesar salad? To die for—crisp romaine, tangy dressing, and a magical touch that makes every bite unforgettable. And the flan? Silky, rich, and the perfect sweet ending.
The vibe is cozy and effortlessly cool, with margaritas that transport you straight to vacation mode. The staff was warm and attentive, and the manager went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I’ll definitely be back. Save me a seat!

An absolutely amazing time escaping reality for a moment. It was so nice to sit by the warm fire and enjoy delicious cocktails paired with the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had, made table side! The fillet and Seabass were cooked to perfection and the flan melts in your mouth. I can’t wait to come back soon and try more items on the menu!

The Hideaway Beverly Hills exceeded all expectations! I ordered the A5 Wagyu steak, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly tender and full of flavor. For the appetizer, we had the habachi sashimi, which was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with incredible flavor. They started us off with complimentary chips and salsa, which were a nice touch, and for dessert, we ended with the flan, which was creamy and indulgent. The service was impeccable—our server Mario was incredibly attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere at night is stunning, with gorgeous decor and a cozy, sophisticated vibe. A fantastic spot for a memorable dinner—I can’t wait to return!

We dined here for Christmas dinner. The service was prompt and the food was good. Unfortunately we had an incident that not only ruined our Christmas Dinner but the rest of our evening.
A waitstaff member spilled Coke all over me ( my hair, face, backside, coat), our table and my husband’s face. The waitperson took off and didn’t acknowledge anything. The manager noticed the floor and then I had to tell them it was everywhere, including on us. He didn’t seem too upset.
We had to finish our meal with a sticky table (eventually they wiped it), and me being soaked with sticky Coke.
The manager did comp our appetizer and glaas of wine but this was not sufficient. Furthermore, he did not approach our table again and was not very apologetic. Our waitress did promise to speak with the manager , after I stressed that it ruined our night and I was sitting there sticky and wet, but we received no further compensation.
I do realize that accidents happen but it was the lack of empathy and acknowledgment of a night ruined by management that is a concern.
We really should have had our meal comped for the inconvenience and that I had to go home and shower…ending our Christmas night.
Due to management’s reaction to this event, I would not recommend nor go back.

The Hideaway in Beverly Hills is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the ambiance transports you to a chic, intimate retreat.
The steak was juicy and perfectly pink, the brussel sprouts were tangy and paired well with the pomegranates, and my kiwi cocktail was uniquely fruity.

Super hot inside, the hostess acted like I was crazy and then every person (3 couples) sat down and left because it was so hot
For $400 the food tastes sub par no flavor or spice, street food taste better than what I ate.
We had two servers because their shift was up, I spent $400 and you’re gunna switch server. This isn’t Applebees this is rodeo drive.
There was a really awesome guy waiter, tall looks like Neil Brennon was fantastic. He wasn’t even our waiter, but we saw him taking care of people around us. Outstanding customer service.
Just cause your on rodeo drive doesn’t mean you can serve terrible food at a high price. I saw the tik toks and videos and nothing matches up. Service was inconsistent and food was below a 5 out of 10
Had chicken, filet, flautas, churros and alot of heart burn

Ordered cocktails, we never got them. Waitress was in a bad mood and seemed to be taking it out on us. Food was below par, I left my entire entree. All my 4 guests also left their food, and the worst part is that the server saw they clearly didn’t eat it and didn’t bother asking “if there was a problem” never visiting this place again

What waiter places the customer’s food on the ground? Well that’s what happened to us.
My friend and I visited this location and the food was fantastic. The music didn’t seem to fit the atmosphere though… the early 2000’s music fit more appropriately in a night club. The environment is beautiful, very well put together.
My waiter, however, appeared very aloof… very off. I asked for water, he took my glass with him and I had to remind him that I asked for water. As we were leaving, the waiter bagged our food and placed it on the ground. I was so confused… I called to complain to the manager. The next day. He apologized and said that he would fix it.
The food is great… but the service, not so much.

My recent birthday dinner experience in Beverly Hills was far from what I’d hoped for. The chips were enjoyable, but the rest of the food was disappointingly low quality. The appetizer lacked flavor, the meat was dry, and even the churros didn’t meet expectations. The host was kind, but she didn’t acknowledge my birthday or offer any celebratory touch, like candles.
I was also concerned about cleanliness; the bathroom didn’t feel very sanitary, and the spoons provided had visible stains. Overall, the restaurant missed several details that could have made the evening special and for being in beverly hills is pretty low quality.

Never Going Back
I had high expectations for “The Hideaway,” but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. First of all, the waiter, Brandon, didn’t bother mentioning that the water was a ridiculous $9 per bottle. He just kept refilling without a word until we racked up EIGHT bottles. That’s $72 for water, and we had no clue until the bill came!
As for the food? Barely there. We ordered a few dishes, and the portions were laughably small. We were left hungry and furious. It felt like we paid a premium for a glorified snack, not a meal. For a restaurant in Beverly Hills, I expected much better service and transparency. But instead, we were left frustrated, overcharged, and still hungry. Avoid this place at all costs!

The food at this restaurant was actually pretty good, with authentic flavors and well-prepared dishes. However, the service was a major letdown. The staff was inattentive and slow, and it felt like we were being ignored for most of the meal. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like water refills and utensils. It really took away from what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. If the service matched the quality of the food, this place could be great, but sadly, it didn’t. #firebrandon

I visited during vacation with my husband. They have two areas and they sat us in the quiet area near the bar, where the other area was happy and jolly, i felt they were hiding us. We are both latinos, so i felt a little out of place at first, but we got over it, we were hungry. The food is mediocre at best. I cant complaint about the server, but everything else was blah. I wouldn’t return there. Ill drive elsewhere to always eat at Inka Wasi! Is the best place i have tried around!!🤪

I arrived at the restaurant around 5:50 p.m. and sat at the bar. While the hostess was friendly, the bartender rudely informed me that happy hour ended at six and refused to let me order two drinks at once. When I asked the manager for help, she was very kind and resolved the issue by offering a drink on the house. However, the bartender remained rude throughout the evening, making noise and being disruptive. If you visit during happy hour, I’d recommend avoiding the bar. Despite the bartender’s behavior, another staff member was extremely polite and pleasant.

Epitome of all flash and no substance. The food was mid, kind of competes with El Torito but double the price. Fails to capture the essence of what makes Mexican food exciting and delicious. “Wagyu beef” flautas… they would be embarrassed if they had shame, but on Rodeo drive you take money from people who don’t know better.
Look, if you’re trying to have good food around this price point just go to Damian’s. Hideaway ain’t it.

Food was really good. Not amazing but far better than similarly priced restaurants of similar cuisine in the area. The atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant were just lovely. However, where the restaurant really shines is in it's service. We came during a pretty busy time and they were short staffed by two people. Having said that, the service was perhaps the quickest I've seen in any BH restaurant lately, and our server stayed nice, helpful, and cheery despite the obvious stress. Service was great! Very nice servers. Super cute decor. But the food was so mid. Everything lacked flavor, even the cocktails. Not a singular thing was spicy or salted. How you gonna serve a spicy (hint it wasn’t spicy) mezcal cocktail and not even line the rim with salt or chili powder? Wut? That drink was $20 😂 Had the table side Caesar which is needlessly huge and a massive waste as nobody can finish that, bland brisket, unsalted gauc, papas bravas with a gross brown sauce and brussel sprouts. The best thing we had were the brussel sprouts so that says a lot. Everything else was so unseasoned and bland. I’d rate it higher, but the prices were so outrageous vs how mid the food is. $90 per person. Wouldn’t come back sadly. :/

So yes, get the table side cesar salad and the brisket (you're welcome).

The staff was so nice and accommodating we had 2 senior dogs that we needed to bring with us because they have heart issues and can't be left alone I had them in a HUGE stroller and the staff helped me so much and gave me no hassle in bringing them in the patio area. They gave us a spacious table like I requested and I loved it! The food was amazing! Huge compliments to the chef we did the 3 course lunch meal and it was perfect! We have an autistic child that usually hates eating everything and they made him a chicken quesadilla that he devoured! This was a huge delight and was very much worth it! They even have valet which made it extremely hassle free and accommodating. You should definitely check this place out the vibe, food, decor, and staff, are all perfect!

First time going there and I liked it. Food was tasty...I would say it's more gourmet Mexican food.
The one thing I didn't like was that if you're in a party of 8 or more, you're not allowed to order from their uno, dos, tres menu, which has more options and the pricing is more affordable.
The regular menu is pricier and is a la carte and has no kids menu.
I would say it's not too kid friendly either.
But overall it was a good experience and would go back.

Upon my recent visit to The Hideaway, a quaint establishment nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills, I embarked on a culinary adventure reminiscent of a British aristocrat's whimsical escapade through the colonies, with an amusing twist. Their menu, a veritable feast for the senses, offered a delightful array of dishes, each with a name more enchanting than the last.Firstly, the "Truffle Honey-Laced Duck Confit," a dish so rich and decadent, one might suspect it was the culinary equivalent of a silk robe and a monocle. It was, in essence, a dish that whispered sweet nothings of luxury and comfort into one's palate, much like a gentle caress from a velvet glove.Next, I found myself beguiled by the "Lobster Thermidor Redux," a dish that dared to reinvent a classic with audacious flair. It was as if the chef had taken the essence of the sea and infused it with a touch of aristocratic rebellion, serving it with a side of culinary anarchy. A truly bold move, akin to wearing white after Labor Day.Lastly, the "Chocolate Soufflé with a Whisper of Lavender" was nothing short of a poetic end to the meal. This dessert, so light and airy, seemed to defy gravity itself, as if it were a balloon, tethered to the plate by nothing but the sheer will of culinary excellence. It was, in every sense, the perfect denouement to an evening of gastronomic extravagance.

Tucked away below the main road you feel like you're in a secret hidden spot. Enter immediately going down some stairs taking you just a little further below street level where you enter a big window ceiling so during the day is nice and bright. Making any sense? You'll just have to see it for yourself. Outside patio furniture for table tops and decor to match a feeling you are in Mexico enjoying a nice outdoors dining. Waiters greet you with complimentary in-house made chips and roasted tomatoe salsa with a small board of lemon, lime & salt. We also received a complimentary vegan black bean dip, which was delicious! Food is quality, flavorful, and portioned perfectly. Lattes are smooth and delicious even without offering any flavors. If you are one for flavored lattes, maybe try the café de Olla with cream. It has a hint of spices like cinnamon in it and may be a great substitute for your flavored lattes. I like to visit places a few times before doing reviews to see the consistency of its work, so from this you can tell I have not been disappointed. It's highly recommended that you make reservations. Enjoy!

Great place for dining with beautiful design, very live atmosphere, and super tasty dishes.
The only negative point was the bar. As we were waiting for our table, interacting with the two bar tenders was super unpleasant. They were rude and inattentive and were giving us attitude upon any questions about the cocktails or drinks.
I ordered the NY Steak and Lobster tail which was very tasty.

This place was awful. It was like el Torito food and service but with Beverly Hills pricing. Servers never came back to check on us. Drinks were giant and bad, but again, so expensive. My passion fruit marg tasted like a giant juice made from concentrate. Everything took over an hour to arrive. Churro tasted like cardboard and the sauce was scary. Steak was warm — could have been hot. Again, fine for a family oriented neighborhood Mexican restaurant, but markets itself as more upscale than it actually was. 0/10 do not rec, fix it if you want to stay open and be true to your brand. Asked for the bill, took 46 minutes to get it and we asked multiple times. Our server Fatima dropped the lime from a drink picked it up and put it back in the drink!?!

This place is absolutely stunning! Such a beautiful restaurant in a great location. Our sever Jairus was amazing! Very attentive and kind. The food was DELICIOUS!!! Best fish tacos and tuna tartare. We are visiting from South Florida and definitely the best place we tried in SoCal!

Perfect place to have lunch on a budget (for Beverly Hills standards). We both order their Uno, Dos, Tres lunch special which included an app, the main, and a dessert for $30. We were so full and couldn’t finish it all. The vibes are spot on and so is the service. Highly recommend going during the week, when it’s not as busy.

Thanks to all the all thr staff for making our celebration a memorable event. From the time you walk in until the time you walk out you are given the best customer service. The food was cook with perfection. The atmosphere was awesome. My family and I even had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners/ actor Evan Ross. This young man was amazingly humble and even asked to take a picture with our birthday girl. Did I mention that the service was excellent?

Food was good, liked the free chips salsa and beans. The main platters were ok. Decent not great. But good for the lunch special price in Beverly Hills. Service was very good. Decor is nice. Right in the middle of Rodeo Drive. Decent lunch special.

I just recently visited California went to Rodeo Drive and stopped in to The hideaway for late lunch. My experience was fantastic I met one of the investors there and he was a gem! So personal and friendly. Made my day meeting him. The servers were great and the food. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Shout out to Evan! ❤️

For some reason the waiters here think it’s ok to serve the tab to the customer when they are finished with their drink instead of asking them if they want another?! That happened twice. The most weird experience. Not sure what was going on as we were 2 people having a quiet polite conversation at the table, and had to put up with crying babies around us. Do not recommend

Great location and good prices but underwhelming fish tacos as part of the meal deal.

I came here to celebrate my mommy’s birthday 🥳! I made my reservation through open table website. Here’s a tip, collect points for each reservation on that website or app will give you discounts. Now back to my review. We were greeted at the front desk. Once my reservation was located, we were promptly escorted to the lanai area. This is a wonderful romantic place for dinner. Perfect for a date night. Our server was Victor C. He had a lively sense of humor. The Chips and Guacamole are so delicious! We had the Caesar salad with salmon, and rosed chicken. This was a large portion for lunch. The decor of the restaurant is Spanish. The lanai area has patio furniture with really beautiful pillows on each chair. Love ❤️ these pillows. Our margaritas were not water down. The mixologist knows how to make a proper drink. We received a bottle of mineral water sparking with our meal. We a wonderful experience here.
