From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the vast selection of drinks, pastries, and desserts. The variety is truly exceptional, catering to different tastes and preferences.

We were recommended the cinnamon roll, and it turned out to be an outstanding choice! The roll was topped with an incredibly light and fluffy cream, which added a perfect touch of sweetness without overpowering the taste. The roll itself was not overly sweet, allowing us to fully appreciate the rich, authentic flavor of the cinnamon and pastry.

The only downside was that it was extremely hot inside the bakery, which made our visit a bit uncomfortable. However, the quality of the food and the overall experience more than made up for it. Despite the heat, I would still highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious baked goods and a cozy atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a visit!

Great bakery. The outside of the building doesn't look fancy like places in downtown, but their baked goods are much better. They have awesome cupcakes. Our favorites are the lavender honey and the lemon raspberry. Their nut roll/sticky bun was fantastic. We have had many other items that are very good too, but the cupcakes and nut roll are the star of the show for us.

That cherry cheesecake, man! Do yourself a favor and get two 😁 I'm European and am not a fan of the dense and overly sweet New York cheese cake. This is a whole different level though. Fluffy, perfectly sweetened. I don't think they were trying to make just another cheesecake people here are used to. I'll definitely grab more next time I'm in Big Bear!

Must try coffee and pastry cafe when visiting Big Bear. I had the Champion Lodge Iced coffee and it tasted like a caramel apple so delicious! The regular ice caramel macchiato was also good I think you can’t go wrong with any thing you order

After snow play, a sweet treat is perfect, we googled bakery 🧁 this was the closet to us, being at alpine slides, we drove a few minutes, we are a big supporter of small businesses, Love the decor, not a big selection, but understandable since big bear has busy and non busy days, We choice our goodies the nice young lady gave us our box, we were so exited to try, we sat in the car had a bit myself of the brownie, was one of the best delicious brownies I’ve ever had, my son had the snickerdoodle cookie he said it was delicious, wanted to share with us so we could also try it. We sat in our car sampling each others sweets, they were all so so good, we will be coming back on our next trip to big bear, We we’re very happy and satisfied. Delicious

That cherry cheesecake, man! Do yourself a favor and get two Im European and am not a fan of the dense and overly sweet New York cheese cake. This is a whole different level though. First time here. I placed order and employee put everything on top of each other in plastic container and I paid $35. I got home and noticed I was missing an item and their prices are expensive. Maybe she packed them tightly intentionally , so that she could eat the item herself.? It was a $6 chocolate croissant. Careless employees!. To anybody reading this, please count your items and inspect before you leave don t trust the employees there. OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE BIG BEAR VILLAGE BAKERIES.

Very nice little bake shop. Service was friendly and I loved the baked goods. Light flakey croissants were still great the next day. I had a day old blueberry muffin that was what I needed right then. I also ordered a snickerdoodle sandwich cookie with cream and caramel. It was amazing. Weve gotten cakes from Sister My Sister twice now. Were from Arizona but have been vacationing in Big Bear every year for the last three years. Last year we picked up an Oreo cake for my birthday and it was so good! This year we were in Big Bear for our 18th wedding anniversary. We were able to get a Strawberry Champagne cake and it was so, so good!!! I didnt get a better picture of our anniversary cake before our 3 year old got into it. Haha!

I was needing some dessert and told my husband to pull in to this bakery on our way back to the house we were staying at. The door was a little tricky to open, but once I got in there was a group ordering which took some time for them to finish. After the group paid and left, I was expecting it to be my turn to order, but the lady started to assemble some boxes and did not approach me. I just stood there and watched her put some boxes together. She then said that I could let her know whenever I was ready.... and I was. I ended up getting a cookie sandwich $5, apple pie bar $4, and a brownie $4. My total came out to $13.00. Their cookies are so good on their own. They dont need the cream filling inside. The apple pie bar was really good too and I enjoyed the brownie. Overall, customer service could have been a little more prompt and friendly, but everything I ordered was really good.

They have an abundance of different pastries and cookies. I had a cinnamon role, which was okay (the frosting was really nice, the bun itself a bit bland). My wife had a ham and cheese croissant which was okay (also a bit bland). Dont go here for coffee.

My wife and I walked a mile through the snow only to find they don t keep their posted hours and were closed with no explanation. We were there at 9am and their sign says they open at 8am Wednesday mornings. You would think at least one of the sisters could make it to work on time but thankfully there are other breakfast spots in Big Bear operated by professionals.

Cute quaint bakery with a couple of chairs, but not a place you stay long. A friend of mine recommended this place and I love a good recommendation and it did not disappoint. My guest and I were greeted by friendly staff who answered our questions and remained patient as we decided and kept adding. In our defense everything sounded good and we were walking that thin line of wanting to try things and just being greedy. Lol There is quite a lot to choose from and they have two of my favorites: snickerdoodle in cupcake form and red velvet in Brownie form! I am here for both of these desserts. I loved the little bit of snickerdoodle cookie on top of the cupcake serving not only as decoration, but a tasty little delight to round out the cupcake. I will say definitely let the cupcake sit for a few minutes before consuming because they are in a refrigerated case and same for the red velvet Brownie, which was my favorite of the two. But the cupcake was very close. You know what, its a tie! If and when Im every back in the area I will return.

Wish I could do more stars! Sister My Sister did the cake and desserts for my wedding this weekend, and I am not kidding when I say every guest I spoke to said it was the most delicious cake they had ever had. The dessert table with the cake was BEAUTIFUL, the cake was so incredible I almost didnt want to slice it... but Im so glad I did because it was absolutely delicious. Our cake was a three-tier with the lavender honey cake, strawberry champagne, and pumpkin apple, and picking a favorite is way too hard! We also got some satellite dishes of cupcakes and small finger desserts like cookies, apple pie bites and brownies and those all vanished in a matter of hours. The cake was just so beautiful though. We had a fairytale wedding so the cake was supposed to look like a birch tree stump, covered in moss and flowers and ferns with our initials carved into the tree, and an edible sword stuck into the top. It looked *exactly* like the picture I put together for it, Lucy is a very talented artist and really knocked it out of the park! Highly, highly, highly recommend stopping by here just for coffee and a cupcake, but if youre looking for a wedding cake caterer then you wont get better than Sister My Sister!

Great Bake Shop. I had to do a DoorDash order and they were very nice and called when they had only 3 of the 6 fruit pinwheels I ordered (until you haven t tried them you won t understand why I wanted so many just for myself). They offered substitutes and here I am about to enjoy some cherry cheese braids and fruit pinwheels. Highly recommend you give them a try!

This place is special. An extraordinary experience run by incredible people. The atmosphere, the workers, and best of all THE CAKE. We have only lived here a year and we have already gotten 3 different cakes from there. A+!!! Highly recommended

The chocolate brownie was really amazing, but I took one star off for inconsistency in payment policy. One day I went for a chocolate brownie and purchased it for $3.75 with credit card. I saw the bread pudding and asked how much it was and was told it was $3.75 as well. I decided to come back the next day to pick one up before heading away from Big Bear. When I came back I was then told it was $4 and when I presented my credit card the lady told me there s a $5 minimum, but that she would give it to me anyway. Makes it sound like she would just charge $4 right? Nope. Got charged $5. I was bringing the bread pudding back home for my dad so I didn t feel like arguing. He said the bread pudding was just ok.

Hands-down the most delicious and beautiful cake I have ever gotten for someone. Makes celebrating a birthday that much more special. This cake fed about 15 people And everyone was obsessed with it. Beautiful work!

I took my wife and daughter there this weekend and we absolutely loved it. The staff was friendly, the inside was clean and decorated very cute, and the baked goods are unbelievable! They had some of the best treats Ive ever had. We will definitely be dropping by whenever we are up in Big Bear. Thank you again for your excellent service.
