Great place to grab a bite in a Big Bear! It was really cold so we opted to sit indoors but there are heated lamps and a fireplace outdoor. The service was quick and friendly. The Mac and cheese was delicious and the wings were crispy and fried but not greasy! The burger was simple and delicious.
It is a little pricey though at least for the quality of food.

This was the first time we had given this restaurant a try after several visits to Big Bear Lake. The food menu is more bar food than a traditional restaurant, consisting primarily of burgers, artisan pizzas, some specialty items and even food for your pet. Meaning, the restaurant is a pet friendly place. We also think it took more time than expected to be waited on and to receive our meals. The food was alright, but the prices were a little pricey, so we probably would not come back here to have lunch or dinner. Instead, this would be more of a place to have a drink, sit back and enjoy the music with friends. And we could not even imagine ordering a pizza here when right next store they have the best pizza in town. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining areas and outside tonight they had live music, which always makes for a more enjoyable evening. With the weather as beautiful as it was, we have no idea why anyone would want to be inside. There is plenty of free parking at the public parking lot behind the restaurant and limited parking along Pine Knot Avenue. As for the staff, we would give them an overall rating of neutral, nothing good or bad to report.

This is always our favorite place to relax when we are in Big Bear.
The live music is generally good quality and entertaining, and the food is usually great.
I especially recommend the pizzas, they are baked perfectly with crispy crust and soft inside.
We liked the idea of the sauteed peppers, but they weren't very flavorful.
Fries are perfect.
It's not all perfect, so feedback below, but in general we really like it here and they provide great service even though they discourage tipping.
The veggie burger wasn't very good, but it could be the variation we got (572 burger).
The mojito used a different alcohol or something because we didn't like this version.
Note that you order directly by the entrance, and they literally tell you to just skip the tipping screen. I think this is awesome, and it effectively means that this restaurant is 20% cheaper than other high quality restaurants.
Highly recommend!

Beautiful day in Big Bear so I was strolling around downtown when I heard some great music and stopped in! Huge outdoor patio with a live band entertaining the patrons. I waited in line, which moved quickly, while checking out the menu. I ordered the poke nachos and a cocktail. I found my way to a spot that was available and had just sat down when my nachos arrived! My drink soon followed. The nachos were stacked with fresh tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, and lots of tuna on fresh crispy wonton chips. The jalapenos and sauce brought just enough heat for delicious flavor. The staff was helpful and attentive, bringing out orders and clearing tables as they passed by. The band was lively and engaging the crowd. I met a great local couple while enjoying the ambiance and food. It’s definitely a favorite place of mine!

It is a mixed feeling dining here.
We could not find any seats anywhere else and we ended up here. It looks really nice both inside and outside and everyone seems busy.
Hybrid service means they are short of hands as everyone else due to various of reasons. We do a lot of things ourselves like waiting in line to order and finding a table ourselves. Then before we sit and get any service, we have to tip right after order is confirmed. Not sure whether this is part of the hybrid service. But it does not make me feel too comfortable as people are behind me and the waiter is waiting for me to finish the transaction. I am not against tipping, but I am against forced tipping as my money does not fall from the sky by itself. I also work hard for it.
My food is too dry and we constantly have to grab the persons behind bars to refill our water or get anything else. She does not seem happy or unhappy, just have to stop her from doing whatever she is doing. If hybrid means everyone’s able to help you, that seems also no one is responsible to help. Or I am just wrong?
I did not complain the food being over frying and dry. I don’t want to wait for a long time to have the remade and sitting in the high chair and tiny table to wait.
I have to say, I might have just been unlucky that day. A lot of places due to labor shortage have significant service quality decline. I prefer to eat at home if I could to avoid the disappointment especially the cost of eating out is getting higher.
I hope everyone gets good service. Big Bear Lake is a nice place to visit and to relax overall.

I visited 572 Social Kitchen and Lounge back in 2019, and even after all these years, the experience has stayed with me. It took me some time to find the name of the restaurant again so I could write this review, but I couldn't let this go unmentioned.
Honestly, I don't remember exactly what I ate, but I very much enjoyed it. What truly stood out to me, however, was the incredible gesture from our server that day. I was with a friend who didn't speak English very well at the time. She barely ate half of her meal, probably because she didn't enjoy it as much as I did. Without her saying a word, the server returned with the check and told us she had taken the burger off the bill. She kindly said to my friend, "I know you didn't enjoy it, so it's on the house."
This act of kindness left a lasting impression on me. It's the kind of outstanding customer service that's unforgettable. Even five years later, I still think about it, and I know that when I return to Big Bear–soon I hope–this will be the first restaurant I visit.
As a restaurant owner myself, this moment inspired me so much that I've shared the story with my own team, using it as an example of what exceptional service looks like.
Thank you to the team at 572 Social Kitchen and Lounge for such an unforgettable experience. I don't know if the server who helped us is still there, but her gesture made a lasting impact. Kudos to the entire team!

I had to delete my old review that was very disparaging. I visited the 572 with my friend September 18th. We had the most wonderful and pleasant experience compared to my old experience which was very disappointing. The 572 and their bartender completely changed my opinion of the establishment. Good going and I shall return. By the way they know how to make a martini right.

This is a cool place to get food and listent to live music. Its all cover band stuff and mostly a mix of music for boomers and gen x. The outdoor area is beautiful. I dont love the diner concept where you find your own table and then go to the counter to order, but they did have signs up that made it apparent this was how the place worked. Ive been to places that dont do a good job of that and left, so happy they are user friendly. I ordered the steamed mussels and they were so good! My partners mom ordered the chicken strip and they were pretty decent. Overall would recommend this place. Good place to get a drink, if thats your thing. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessing outdoor eating area with a power wheelchair. Cant recall if the inside area was accessible, but I think it was.

They have live music it seems almost all the time, which lends itself to a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very nice and attentive. However, the food is mediocre at best. My gf had the steamed mussels and several of them were just empty shells and some were not even opened. I had the california burger, which had no flavor. The hamburger patty definitely seems to be a cooked frozen patty, not what Id expect for the price. If you want to enjoy the music, Id recommend just getting an appetizer and getting actual food somewhere else.

Maybe the best place for outdoor dining in the village. Good food, great friendly service, fast service and nice seating. Theyve got fire pits and, for summer 2024, live music 7 days a week. There are only two criticisms or shortcomings from our latest Fall/Cold weather visit: not nearly enough heaters, and some tables were allowed to move heaters so that they had two rather than staff keeping them spaced evenly between the tables. This left some folks cold, including me, who shivered like a darn Chihuahua once it got past a certain point. Secondly, 572 does have the village prices thing going on... it can be a little steep.

The manager would not honor a $50 gift card given to me by Big Bear destinations when booking a rental. He claimed it had no balance & when I asked for more information on how this could have happened he got upset and told me I had five minutes to get out. I could not believe this man was kicking us out. We had not done anything. This manager is unhinged and should not be in the position he is in. When I asked for my gift card back and he pulled out a wad of cash and threw $60 on the table. I left the money on the table, untouched. I found this incredibly insulting and was in disbelief. He came back before we left and shouted Who waits 3 years to use a gift card! Did he not know we were in a pandemic? Does he not know Big Bear is a vacation destination and not everyone visits often? I have no doubt the customer service demonstrated by this Manager Carlos will be the inevitable downfall of this restaurant. Avoid this restaurant, spare yourself the embarrassment.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I ll be very honest upfront, the food is not good. Like at all. No flavor on anything but I guess it s American food. I love it for the atmosphere and drinks. We have a wee baby so it s nice to go out, grab a snack and chill by the outdoor fire pit area. We ve met a lot of fun people and parents here. The live music is awesome although it s not very diverse from what I ve seen. I wish they d get more groups of different genres to come play music. Anyway, it s fun, loud, and there are places to chill and relax further away from the music where we tend to perch ourselves, and then there s seating closer to the music as well. Lots of seating and all of the staff have been very kind, helpful, and respectful.

Our group was large but we were served very quickly, at an outdoor table with heating, good quality dishes and drinks. Wheelchair accessibility: All tables are at banquette level.

I took a day trip with my family and walked up and down the street deciding what to eat. My kids being picky wanted pizza. So I stopped and got that for them and decided to try this spot for my sis in law and I. I set the kids up outside as we had the pizza and dogs with us. I went in to order when the manager came out and very rudely came at my sister about having outside food there. That is not the part the irks me. Your policy is your policy. This rating was for the actions of the manager. Her tone. Her gross face she made basically shaking her finger at me repeating everything my sis in law had just told me. I m not the one, you come at me respectively or not at all. I told her she can keep her look at her finger to herself. You work with the public. Come at customers correctly. Disgusted.

I am so disappointed in this place. I came here two times last week. The first time was so good. The service the food was amazing, but the 2nd time was HORRIBLE!!! The food tasted nothing like the night before. The service was terrible!! I ordered the kids chicken nugget meal, which come with fries, and they brought the wrong order to me. That order came with only chicken nuggets. I went to let the server know that I was missing my fries. He said I ordered the regular nuggets on the menus, which comes with no fries. He then told me he will have to give me a refund and then recharge me because they game me to many chicken nuggets. I told him, why not just give me the fries? Why would you throw away the nuggets you already gave me just to bring back less? I spoke to the manager who agreed to just give me the fries. I said, ok, thank you so much and she gave me the fries. Well when I looked at my bank account two days later they double charged me. And one of the orders they charged me for is even more money. I m so mad right now. They doubled charge me and I can t get a hold of anyone. I was charged $60 instead of $50. No one is answering the phone and I want my money back. I m so disappointed!

A great selection of beer and the food was delicious! We enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying the warm weather.

Im not going to lie the self-seating and get up and order your food is a little off, just because the place gives out a more upscale feel. The food though was delicious we ordered a classic cheeseburger and a cheese and pepperoni pizza. The burger is a gourmet burger and the pizza had the brick oven kind of taste. Will come back with the family next time.

Stopped in for a late lunch with the family. The seared tuna was fantastic!

We had dinner here on a Sunday night, it was not busy and we had great service. Staff were all friendly and checked on us frequently. The pepperoni pizza was awesome. The outdoor patio had fire pits and lights strung up and would have been a pretty place to eat if it wasn t so cold.

Great selection of beers and cocktails. Very large outdoor space with a fireplace. They also have a wide variety of wine and several sake bottles to choose from. Great spot for small and large groups. Definitely worth a visit if your in the Village.

Great big patio area and really good food. They have a huge outdoor patio, which is dog friendly. They also had live music from 2pm on, with 2 different bands playing. They have heat lamps and a large outdoor fire pit for when it gets a little chilly. The service is super fast and everyone was super friendly there, patrons and servers.

Great location to sit with friends or family. The outdoor setting is easy and very enjoyable with heat lamps during the winter season. It is pet friendly, but pets must be manageable and comply with rules. The food was definitely worth trying with excellent portions. Drinks are a must try with many options on tap and specialty drinks made at the bar. Price ranges from 14.99+ depending on what you are craving. Live music in the evening with options to dine indoors or outdoors. Conveniently located in the village of Big Bear. Easy to find with parking areas that are walking distance.

My wife and I stopped in here for a quick drink on a sunday afternoon - after a long bike ride in the mountains - The irish mule I ordered and the pineapple mojito she got were so good, we decided to order some shishito peppers and wound up hanging out all afternoon. We picked those apples after drink #2. . Apparently the band we saw is there every Sunday. Really nice vibe. A good mix of younger and older crowd. Bonus- Everyone who came and went at the tables around us was fun to talk to!

Terrible experience, food is really terrible, service is one of the worst I ve seen. Worst part about is that the owner hates dogs while allowing dogs on the patio. our little 5 pound dog barked a few times and owner angrily came over and slapped my dog before telling us that he makes the rules here. Would never come back here. Owner is literally the biggest joke I ve come across.

Burger was so overcooked it was dry and tough and very disappointing. You have to order and pay up front so there isn t much service. Food generally was not very good. Live music is nice.

Casual eatery, bar. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fireplaces outside. Casual since you order at the bar and the staff brings it to you. The food has always been amazing, very pleasant staff. I love the casual atmosphere with no waiters which feels a lot more relaxing.

Absolutely adore this place! It was our first time here and the live music is the best in Big Bear! Carlos, the owner, was positively wonderful and made multiple stops at everyone s table to make sure all were doing well. I can t recommend this spot enough! The music, the food, and the vibe will get your spirits soaring into the night!!

Unfortunate since place use to be well run. Definitely gone downhill in recent years mostly due to poorly trained staff. Much better places to go in Big Bear if you want to enjoy your stay here - advice from a Big Bear resident.

We like coming here, its a nice place, but the staff was extremely rude to us, because my small Chihuahua was sitting on my lap (shes 3.5 lbs) and they told me she isnt allowed to sit ON MY LAP?! how is this even allowed to say to a dog mom? We were very upset and had to put her on the cold floor. :(
