One of the best burgers Ive ever had. I ordered the Eye if the Tiger and it was incredibly good, the beer that was suggested was also perfect and I ordered the onion rings that were also out of this world. Very pleased. My wifes salad was great, she loved it too. Service was a little slow because it was busy but the food compensated by far.

Worst customer service experience. My family waited 35 minutes to be seated. Just as we were called to our table, the power went out, and we were told it could take another 35 minutes. We decided to leave and return later to kill time. During that time, I missed three calls from the restaurant. I called back within three minutes, only to be told they gave our table away because we didn t answer. I explained we had already waited 35 minutes and had a hungry 9-year-old with us. The staff claimed they called 15 minutes earlier, which was inaccurate, and continued to argue with me. After all this, we waited an additional 10 minutes before finally being seated. However, food and atmosphere was good.

Our party of four had different sides, burgers and beers. All of it was excellent. This restaurant has the tendency to get very busy because the indoor seating is limited. 40 min meal. We got our food in about 10-15 minutes. Beef was cooked excellently. Towards the medium rare end. Veggie burger was delicious. Dont underestimate the fries. As the standard side they rival the onion rings, tots, and zucchini fries. Vegetarian options: You can sub in vegetarian patties

What a great little place to stop in for a bit. My first time eating at the Fire Rock Burgers & Brew. The Atmosphere was amazing! Great music and nice people. However, the food is very average. The topping are great on the burgers, it the burger meat was below quality. On the side of my burger I had tater tots, and I would give them a 2 out of 5 stars. Not a lot of flavor and could tell they used an average air fryer for cooking style. Yikes. Total price was $25 for a simple burger.

Sadly our food arrived cold and unimpressive. We were sitting at a table where I could see the window between the kitchen and the staff and our server brought our food immediately from that window yet somehow I still had cold fries and a burger with unmelted cheese. Burger patties are thin and small making the price point insulting. Much better burgers elsewhere in Big Bear. Overall service was great, atmosphere is fun, but ultimately I go to restaurants for food.

We came in on a very crowded Saturday evening. Service was OK. Food was mediocre best. My blue cheeseburger was thin, dry and flavorless. For a restaurant that has pretty much nothing but burger and sandwiches on the menu. I was very disappointed. 18 bucks for a burger that looked like a McDonald s hamburger patty only overcooked and dried out. My wife, chicken sandwich was supposed to be fried and appeared to be baked. The breading was soggy as soon as it was brought out. Place was very busy, but I doubt it ll stay that way for very long, the quality of the food does not dictate the price and if you re only going to serve burgers, you better serve good ones This place failed. We won t be back

1st time visiting Big Bear, picked this spot since it was close along with several other restaurants. The patio was pretty empty the inside was crowded, so I went to look for the server. Both her and the other server were very nice and attentive to our table. My Uncle loved his burger that had Philly Cheesesteak on top. It was very filling for him and he said it was really good. I had a chicken sandwich that wasnt the best tasting, but everyone else enjoyed their food. My cousin had a burger and my friend had a chicken salad.

I am a dasher. What I want to say is that this situation is not once or twice, but many times. Otherwise, I would not write so many words to complain about this matter. The waiters in your restaurant are the worst I have ever seen. When an order came from doordash, your waiters didn t even know it. After waiting for 25 minutes, the chef told the waiters that the order had come. Then they printed the order. Didn t the boss of your restaurant pay the waiters? This is the job that waiters must do. I suggest that your boss should retrain the waiters. The waiters can play with their phones, chat, and make phone calls, but they don t care whether they have received orders from doordash. Didn t doordash pay your restaurant? If you don t want to accept doordash orders, I suggest that you can close the online orders and don t waste other people s time waiting for orders forever. Every dasher who comes to pick up the food never asks about the order. They are always waiting. Of course, this has nothing to do with the chefs. They work very hard to make orders. I appreciate their efforts, but the waiters are terrible, very terrible, very terrible

Originally when we ordered here the first time we were drawn to the music and atmosphere of the place. Unfortunately our second go around wasnt as nice. I ordered a burger and dessert at the same time and asked for them to be brought out at the same time. They never did which wouldve been fine if they were busy but it was on a weekday and pretty dead. The server (blonde lady no name tag) admitted she forgot about the dessert and said it would be out shortly. Well, we waited an additional ten minutes and it still wasnt out. So, we asked another server to cancel dessert and wed just pay for what we ordered. Another guy comes out with the dessert saying it was on the house buy we declined it as we were ready to leave. He kept pushing that we take it to which we kept telling him we appreciate it but wed like the check. The blonde lady came back out again and said, Yeah it usually takes about 20 minutes to make for the futrue. Well maam...thats why I ordered it at the beginning of the order and requested it come out with me food. Also, for the future Id suggest she opens with that so people know how long it will take. Kind of a drag on the service.

I amd my friends recently visited Fire Rock Burger and Brews in Big Bear City for takeout, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. I had previously visited this establishment two years ago and had a wonderful experience, but this time, things have clearly taken a turn for the worse. Firstly, the Brussel sprouts that we ordered were extremely disappointing. They were overly greasy and surprisingly sweet, which completely detracted from the natural flavors of the dish. The combination of excessive oil and sweetness made the dish unappetizing. Moving on to the burgers, they were equally unsatisfactory. Not only were they cold, but the overall quality was subpar. The meat lacked flavor and juiciness, leaving a lot to be desired. It was evident that the burgers had not been prepared with care. Lastly, the chicken wings were underwhelming. They were mediocre at best, lacking the flavor and tenderness that one would expect. It was a disappointment to find that even the chicken wings fell short of expectations. To make matters worse, there was no labeling on the food packaging, making it difficult for us to identify our order among other food items. This lack of organization added unnecessary frustration to the already disappointing experience. It is truly disheartening to see the decline in quality at Fire Rock Burger and Brews since my last visit. I had high hopes based on my previous experience, but unfortunately, it seems that something has gone wrong in the kitchen. I hope that the management takes note of these issues and works towards improving the overall dining experience for their customers.

Out of the 4 of us only one person liked the burger and it was the eye of the tiger. The burger selection sounded good, with good sounding toppings. Shredded lettuce on a $18 burger though, cmon. Patties were pretty small and the buns were stale. Our service was pretty bad. We felt like we were not wanted to fine there because our server wanted to go home. The food wasn t bad it just wasn t all that great. Cool atmosphere, tiny place. I wouldn t eat there again personally. Maybe grab a beer and appetizer though.

Our advise based on our experience: do not attempt to order take-out. We ordered early in the afternoon to avoid peak hours and were told our order would be ready between 5 and 5:15, about an hour and 20 minute wait, but we were okay with that and grateful to be getting a hot meal. Our dogs were with us and we couldnt simply dine-in. When we arrived to pick up our order of 2 burgers, we were told our order didnt exist. We showed her our order number and proof of payment and she said she probably deleted our order because they were too busy with in-house orders. Of course we were frustrated and asked why they would do that and she very rudely answered, Because I can and waved her tablet at us. We ended up finding Sandys Sports Bar and Restaurant and they kindly took our take-out order, even though they were quite busy themselves. Great customer service and well poised under pressure, unlike the treatment we received at Fire Rock. From a business perspective, why not 86 take-out on busy weekends instead of canceling orders just because the establishment is getting busy, OR fulfill the orders that have come in and discontinue take-out from there. To top the situation off, there were plenty of empty tables. Sandys Sports Bar and Restaurant more than made up for the terrible experience at Fire Rock and we are extremely grateful for them. Thank you Sandys!!!

The Desperado has onion rings and jalapeños in them, and mine literally had one small onion ring half the size of burger and 4 slices of jalapeños. I m not sure how the waiter could bring out such a burger. I asked for the sauces on the side and they had missed that request as well. I don t think I ll return again unless I start seeing 5 star reviews consistently for a few months.

Place is clean. Decorative and interesting, visually. Staff is impartial. Bordering rude. Came twice and ordered the same thing both times, second time the manager told me they couldn t accommodate my order a plain cheeseburger with pickles that I d have to pay for a deluxe burger (paying for toppings I m not eating) and she d adjust not the price I m still paying for a deluxe burger for a plain burger in exchange. When questioned why I didn t have this issue the last time she just kept telling me what she d do. Both times I came my total cost was different. How s that possible when we ordered the exact same food. Cooks got our order wrong. Waited longer for it to be remade and no attempts at making that right were made to us. Then they put two different cheeses on our burgers and claimed both were American. One is just white. Won t be back. Wouldn t recommend, unfortunately. Our first experience (Thursday staff) was much better than our last (Saturday staff). Far too many inconsistencies. Dietary restrictions: They offered gluten free buns.

Ive been here now 4 times the food is great its kinda small which leads to my main gripe about this place I came in to order carryout which Ive done before no problem over this past weekend it wasnt late at all 6 pm they were somewhat busy and I had just ate within the hour as I commuted an hour up the mountain to spend my money on food and souvenirs for Christmas shopping anyways in my party of two we were told repeatedly that we could not order carryout or to go. And the young lady who worked there suggested we should order through a third party for delivery. Literally made no sense as a business to suggest we spend more money ordering through someone else and also as a paying customer we asked for food to go saving them the time and space of seating my party. An overall terrible feeling i was ready to spend close to $100 on my order as the food is great but the customer service and accomodations demonstrated from my most recent visit were really unprofessional.

Today, 10/24/23 at 12:45pm, my wife and I made our first visit at Fire Rock in Big Bear for lunch. The place had only one other couple inside and the piped-in Rock music was so loud it was extremely difficult to communicate. My wife ordered the Un-Wedge salad ($14.00) and I ordered the Bat burger ($17.00). This is basically a Burger and Brews restaurant and I was surprised the waiter didn t ask me how I wanted my burger cooked. The food arrived quickly and I immediately discovered my French Fries were cold. I had to walk the fries over to the bar to get my waiter s attention. My Bat burger was to be a Mushroom Burger with onions, Gouda cheese and Garlic sauce. It was Absolutely Terrible and the hamburger patty was extremely thin, not what I expected a $17.00 to be. I had to force myself to eat it. My wife s Un-Wedge salad came with large pieces of lettuce preventing her from eating it. No utensils were provided to cut the lettuce into smaller pieces. She had to order boxes to take it home. A New batch of French Fries were delivered and they all Stuck together and so spicy I could not eat them. We were totally disappointed with the food, loud music and service and will never return.

I havent had a bad experience here. I love it here! They have absolutely amazing food and the wait staff never disappoints. I believe its the only place here to have gluten free burgers, and thats easily worth the price tag to me. Its a bit on the pricier side, but its so worth it Dietary restrictions: They offer a beyond patty, and they offer a gluten-free bun

Kid-friendliness: They have Jenga and connect four on the back patio as well as chalk walls that my kid always loves to draw on! The kids menu offers the normal stuff, however servings are big enough for younger kids to share with parents. Recommended dishes

This was our first time at Fire Rock Burgers & Brews. The food was very good & our server was awesome. She was so nice and kept checking on us for drink refills and how we were doing. The atmosphere is great, they have a small space but made it perfect for eating and hanging out. We even played a big 4 across game on our outdoor table. We will definitely be back here!

It was a nice experience going to this restaurant. They people were welcoming and also accommodate me at the last minute. The food was good. They have a guitar rock theme and the staff was nice. You can ask them to make food vegetarian, so that s a plus. It is located in the village.

I highly recommend the carne asada fries appetizer from here. Its a huge portion to share-especially if you just want a snack. However, my partner and I couldnt finish it which is a first for us. There was so much meat on it that we didnt finish. Also I loved the pineapple Pico so much on it that I asked for more. It was a nice break from all the salt and it just went perfectly with everything.

The teenager who took us to our table wasnt in the best mood (Maybe cause the place was crowed...?), but our waitress was very nice... bad thing she never came back so we could ask her for soda refill for my daughter. I had a hamburger, my little one had lemon pepper boneless and I had a cheese burguer. All food, for real, was amazing. Prices arent cheap but neither super expensive, and it is flavorful food so it worth it. They have outside tables front/back of the restaurant, and of course, inside. The ladies bathroom was so nice and clean . Definitely a most if you are visiting Big Bear.

We stumbled on this spot, and it was probably the best food we ve had in our 5 day trip to big bear. Staff hustles and the food was great. My wife opted for the birria quesadilla at a burger joint, and it was still on point.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed! I walked in today feeling happy after a nice 7 mile run . Just to feel disappointment. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad hoping for a creamy sauce , crunchy lettuce, and seasoned chicken breast. But that s not what I got . I got a sad piece of lettuce with practically a chicken nugget . Not to mention the price was absurd! Will never return again . L Establishment.

Upon arrival I received no welcoming and the women were totally rude and rolling their eyes whole time.. they also told the busser boy to attend me, which apparently looked confused took 15 minutes taking my order and another 10 minutes with my credit card not knowing how to charge me.. and final I had to package all my food TO GO! because busser boy refused to... just horrible! Definitely lack of management
