The restaurant itself is so beautiful and cabin like which is such an amazing atmosphere for children plus a bar so it's grown-up friendly too. The food omggggg so good and was done fast. No wait which was amazing. A MUST TRY!

Absolutely will come here again on our next big bear trip. We stopped here tonight on Xmas eve and were greeted so warmly. They gave our kids Christmas goodie bags and were so sweet to our family. The broccoli soup was incredible and the bread with butter. My daughter loved all her spaghetti and couldn’t stop talking about how much she loved her noodles.

It's charming but the food was subpar. My son loved his ribs but my steak was dry/unseasoned & potato wasn't done. Calamari was overpriced for whatcha get & and it's put on top of fries? Add insult by charging a "service fee" & 3% more if ya pay with a credit card? I won't return.

Amazing food and atmosphere. They were busy and that’s the only reason they lost a star.
The food was delicious, and portions were huge. It’s obvious they care about what they are doing and take pride in the place. Can’t wait to go back.

We walked in and sat waited a few minutes to be seated, no problem at all. We went and got seated at the bar, awesome choice. We were made some great drinks and we both got Chicken Fried Steak and biscuits and gravy. Oh man, I was so happy with it. Yall, if you want some big portions and great food, give this place a try. We are going here for breakfast again the next day

The fish and chips meal deal is good and filling. Good breakfast lunch and dinner. The servers are always friendly and helpful to answer any questions or make modifications to your meal. The owners are good people who help out a lot in the local community. If you plan on going to Denny's do yourself a favor and stop here instead.

We had a very attentive and funny waiter. The restaurant was not crowded on a Thursday night. They had a pork rib special that 3 of us ordered. It was plenty of food and tasty. The atmosphere suits a mountain town.

Employees were very friendly and helpful. Although we didn't eat inside because our son was asleep in the car, I did go in to order. The restaurant was very clean and relaxing. I had a pastrami sandwich and my wife had a grilled chicken and they were both delicious. The waitress gave us everything we needed so we could enjoy our meal in the car. Will definitely be going back.

Great place for a hearty breakfast they even have German food and it's authentic.
Try the Weiner schnitzel or Cabbage rolls, they have authentic German beer on tap as well. Get a pitcher you won't regret it.

The owners are great and the food is always fresh and made to order. The fish and chips are great and don't forget the malt vinegar.

If you want Mexican food the same owners have Sonora Cantina next door and it's just as good and just as authentic. Try an top shelf Margarita they are strong!

We learned the OCI was open for dinner and had a new chef. We were very pleased with the service and especially the meals. 7 of us and everyone had something different. All agreed that their dinners were excellent and could easily have been split - or take home for a second meal. One issue for some could be wine is only available as splits ( 375 mL) . We will be back soon!

Highly recommend! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We ordered the German breakfast and egg, bacon, waffle. The german breakfast might seem confusing because of the saurkraut but, you have to try it. It is special. Dog friendly, our server was amazing, took care of 2 humans and dogs! Fantastic experience. Can't wait to return this week to try other items on the menu and enjoy the great staff!

Stopped here for breakfast this morning walked in sat down waiting for a server to come to our table. After waiting patiently watching the server walk around never making eye contact with us not even a Welcome have a seat. I’ll be right with you? Absolutely nothing after 10 min of waiting we decided to walk out and leave. I never like leaving bad reviews but not being acknowledged as customers is very unprofessional! Disappointing had to go somewhere else when we really wanted to try out your breakfast. Please train your staff to make contact and let them know you’ll be with them shortly.

Food was subpar waffles especially as well as the drink orders they could t even get a half tea and Lemonade correct, oh they also have a service fee as well on a $100 bill I was taxed 24 dollars which is fine but I consider that the tip! We are going they also made us a feel a certain type of way for letting them know the food was bland which I guess is expected but yea just letting everybody know I would not recommend Denny's is right down the street!!

food is great but service and pricing is misleading. if you choose a side of biscuitS and gravy they give you a single biscuit, nowhere does it specify it's single even though biscuits is plural. They will also gladly not give you a side if you don't ask for it and still charge you full price.

also the German Breakfast and Chicken fried steak are the same price even though one comes with double nearly triple the meat, same sides.

Service was good but the scrambled eggs were over done. My wife asked for melted cheese on her eggs and they forgot them so when they brought them back the cheese was sort of melted but was hard and crunchy like the cook took a propane torch to the cheese. The portions were skimpy in relation to the price.
Sadly, we won't be back.

when we walked in there were no other customers in the restaurant
there were two people behind the counter talking very loudly with music playing loud from the kitchen, we ordered our food I asked for cheese on my scrambled eggs when it was brought to us there was no cheese on my eggs. the waitress took it back, cheese was put on them and the cheese never melted and was crunchy, the eggs were over cooked. for the amount of money that they charge for their food and the amount that we received was crazy, it was like one eggs. Took my mother, girlfriend, and daughter in for breakfast. The server was wonderful. Good conversation, and made us all feel at home. The food was insanely good. The German breakfast was absolutely insane. Big bockwurst, pile of kraut, eggs cooked exactly how I ordered. Set chorizo burrito is easily worth more than what they ask for, huge, awesome potatoes in there, perfection. Mom ended up with a build your own omelette, country potatoes on the side. Everything cooked and seasoned beautifully. The kiddo had the pancake combo for kids, she ate almost every bite. This restaurant was a staple for me growing up and remains that today. Prices are definitely a bit high like everywhere else, but what you get, and how hospitable they are, i am more than willing to come back and pay. Thank you old country inn!!! ALSO MAKE SURE YOU GET MIMOSAS!!!!

Rarely do I posts reviews. But I was truly disappointed. I called in my breakfast order. Picked it up. $25 order and I left a $5 tip. Only to get home and they forgot my toast, the steak could have walked off the plate, steak was hardly cooked or seasoned at all and I asked for onions in my breakfast potatoes - no onions. I had ordered each plate with over easy eggs... 1 plate was correct and the other was scrambled eggs. I had to recook the steak with seasoning and then reheat all the food. I called the next day and all they said is that they would let the kitchen staff know as they were closing. The lady that took my order was a sweetheart but I definitely won't be going back.

Horrible breakfast. Stay away from the biscuits and gravy, it tastes like the gravy has clam juice in it. The gravy literally tasted like clam chowder. The coffee tasted like it from the night before. The eggs... Both scrambled and over-medium are gross. Honestly, Denny's would have been 100 times better. It's also pricey, so do yourself a favor a spend your hard earned money some where else.

We were not greeted even after asking for a table. After sitting at an open table, it took 30 minutes just to order drinks and get them. Then we waited another 15 minutes just to order our food. All of the food came out at different times. My coffee had an eyelash in it. My friend’s food had a hair on it when it finally came out and had to be sent back. Our waitress was not apologetic for any of our inconveniences. I am currently waiting just to pay our check which has been at least 15 minutes. We had to bring our cards to the waitress just to be able to pay and leave. Overall we waited a ridiculous amount of time to eat and service was very poor.

Years ago, we had a fabulous German breakfast here. This time, the over easy eggs were fried and tough, the hash browns were burned on the bottom and barely cooked on the top, the sauerkraut was too sour and the casing on the bratwurst was hard to cut. Finally, we were incorrectly told only one order of toast came with two breakfasts. After we inquired, the second order of toast was found in the kitchen. Time had been unkind to this former German gem.
