We had not been to Big Bear for a couple years, but when we revisited we made sure to stop into barrel 33. Its a very nice wine bar, they have food you can eat along with your drink, and depending on the night they have live music. We enjoy sitting in the couch area with our wine plushies with a snack. Plenty of seating - you can be as social or non-social with other patrons. Just a great place to visit.

As someone who loves charcuterie boards and wine tasting, I was floored by this place. I went in the middle of the week to avoid the rush, and it was such an incredibly cool experience. We spoke at length with the very friendly staff, and got the board that comes with what would be one of the best pretzels (and cheese dip) Ive ever ordered. It was a really amazing experience that well be repeating in the future! Parking: Ive never seen a lack of parking in The Village (so far). Even when its snowy and tourists flock here, it seems like theres always enough spots nearby.

My partner and I stopped in tonight for the first time and had such a wonderful experience! They had so many wine and beer options, as well as some great ciders and hard seltzers, and the food was incredible! We are charcuterie fans, and their offering of the meats/cheeses/olives/fruits and nuts/etc. served inside a soft pretzel was phenomenal! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and theyre dog-friendly, so our sweet girl got to come along and join the fun with us! We saw that they host a lot of music and art events, and cant wait to go back for those!

Ive been coming to Big Bear on and off for years and have largely been disappointed with the food and bars, but this place did not disappoint. The food was excellent. I was a little disappointed they only had one IPA on tap and I found it to be lacking, but I tried a couple other beers and really enjoyed both. Really enjoyed the wine my partner ordered as well. I appreciate that they seem to have good taste. The ambiance was extremely relaxed, which was also nice.

After a morning of four wheeling, I was really excited to try this place. They had a great selection of beer and wine and a bartender who really knew her stuff. I think we got in their shortly after they opened, because there was one couple ahead of us. After ordering a round and lunch, my entire table ate and had a few beers. The place got bust and the tables filled up quickly with people eating and enjoying there time. About an hour and a half in, I asked another bartender if he could check on my sandwich. Without knowing what sandwich, without knowing that its been an hour and a half and my entire table has eaten and is ready to go, without knowing several other tables have gotten their good and are ready to move on. He replied. Its coming, without ever checking on it. After another 30 minutes, just shy of 2 hours, the original server came past the table and when asked about it, disappeared only to come back a few minutes later to let me know they have no idea where my food was, would you like to order again? We moved on and I am not coming back

Incredible store! Some very cute wine themed things here, including wine barrel doggy beds, flannels with spunky wine related sayings, cute glasses and wine bottle holders... And oh yes... WINE! You can do tastings, buy a glass, buy bottles, but I highly recommend the beer float and wine slushies! The float is made with this incredible ice cream, which I think may have bacon in it, and the beer is this coconut porter. Its really more than a float, its an experience! The employees are always incredibly friendly and depending on the time you go, the atmosphere can be like a little party or you can have the whole place to yourself of you go early during the week. I love this store and hope that maybe they can expand and have a patio eventually!

I stood at the bar for a while and watch the interaction with customers on a nice busy holiday weekend. The pours were barely an ounce each. For four of us tasting and $100 it would ve been best to just buy a few bottles and enjoy a nice full glasses of wine. So basically, you re paying $25 to drink a glass of wine.
