Absolutely 5-Star! Everything was on point. We were in Lake Arrowhead for several meals and this one was definitely the best. They also serve breakfast, so we're coming back for that as well next time. All four people in my dining party were very happy with their food. Cali Burrito. Shrimp Burrito, Chimi-style bean & cheese. They even had a chicken sandwich for our picky eater. Highly recommend!

Restaurant recently opened and we have eaten here 5 times. So far food has been great. Chips are fresh and salsa tasty. We always order the sizzling trio fajitas - usually awesome but today a little dry but still very tasty. Best menudo on the mountain. Service is great. Some workers are new but they are friendly, and really try to be attentive to customers. If they keep up the great food and services, this restaurant will be the best Mexican restaurant on the mountain. Definitely recommend

We had a group of 20 women and let me tell you..the service was outstanding! The young man that took our drink order was absolutely adorable and our server was awesome. The food was delicious. All of us enjoyed our food. The ice cream nachos were super yummy! We were treated well from beginning to end of our visit.We will definitely be visiting again on our next women's retreat...I look forward to it!

The service is bad I like to have chips and salsa with my meal .when my food got there the lady asked if we want more she never brought any she was at register helping customers. And other waiters did not even look at us I got up and asked. Then the rice and beans were cold and hard.

My first visit was a little bit of a disaster . My next visit was a lot better and the food was good. On my first visit I ordered a fish and the fish was so hard I could not penetrate it with a fork. It was over fried. I gave you a second chance and you did well. Watch your whole face and a plate make sure it's tender

To enter the restaurant, you have to walk past several non working doors. It makes walking in a tad complicated. Our waiter, David was extremely courteous. We got chips and salsa right away! The salsa was delicious! I had the cheese enchiladas, which were delicious. The beans and rice were also great. Our drinks and chips and salsa were refilled frequently. We were there late for lunch, around 3, so for most of our meal we were the only people in the restaurant.

This restaurant has changed hands a couple of times thru the years. The server was super friendly and funny. The food was fantastic. The service was a little on the slow side. I took some clients here, and they loved the food.

One thing that really stood out is that they have paid receipts taped in their window. These are meals that have been paid for by generous people for those less fortunate. All they have to do is to go inside, and they will receive one of the prepaid meals. What a concept! In addition, there was a note on a napkin by someone who had received one of the meals. It was very heartfelt! Please support this restaurant!

We came in as a large party was seated right away. Our server David was attentive and friendly. Made us feel like family. The food was delicious and authentic. We went friday for lunch and Sunday for breakfast. Both entrées were delicious. It's definitely a spot you want to visit. Don't forget to order the michelada margarita.

First time here. Charred and Overcooked fajitas were flavorless bitter and inedible. Tortillas were microwaved. There were Ants in the soda. Fish tacos were not fresh and not visually appealing. Beans had a funny/weird after taste. Rice was not good. Beef stew was full of fat and probably on its last day before getting tossed out. Service was poor, Waitress seemed to have a bad attitude not sure why but we all have bad days I guess. Chips and Salsa was good. Pastor taco was okay. That's the only positive thing I can say. I still left a tip knowing that I will definitely not be back. Good news is there is 79 other mediocre Mexican restaurants on the mountain.

I base my decision on weather or not there are good chips and salsa. They were both perfect! I loved the slight heat of the salsa. The workers spoke Spanish and there were other Spanish speaking people eating in the restaurant. Another positive sign of it's authenticity. My friend had a chicken enchilada lunch plate and loved it! I tried something new to me, Huarache. It was wonderful!!!

Went to have Dinner with my wife ordered at 6:10 at 7 o'clock. We still didn't get any food only a drink. They had a large party but had their way under staft ended up leaving after an hour of only having a drink and chips they need to plan better and staff appropriately Ridiculous service

The few times I've been here, you can tell the food is legit but reheated. Service was slow, but the staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean and nice. They do have lunch specials and the prices were fair. I'd go back here again because I like Mexican food and this place was okay.

El sazón de éste lugar es lo más parecido que hemos encontrado, al sazón mexicano real (no tex mex, como en otras partes de California).
Las albóndigas y el menudo, tal cual en el norte de México... Con zanahoria/papa y maíz pozolero, respectivamente. Mi hija pidió un tamal y dejando de lado que lo sirvieron con salsa y queso cheddar encima, el sabor fue bueno, al igual que los frijoles refritos y el arroz rojo.

El estacionamiento es amplio, es fácil llegar al lugar, los precios son bastante accesibles. Ah! Y tienen menú para niños.

Fue un gusto encontrar éste restaurante. Además, el servicio fue rápido y amable... Y tienen al mesero más joven y apuesto! Tienen que venir a probar✌️.

There are a lot of mediocre and expensive restaurants in the mountains, but this place is good! I had chicken mole enchiladas, and the sauce was excellent. Ask for the hot salsa. The stuff they normally serve is too mild.

We were surprised to have found this little piece of authentic Mexican joint in the mountain. It’s clearly a family-run business where everyone cared about your experience. We will definitely go back next time we are in Lake Arrowhead!

Good food, sometimes told they don't sell food that's on the menu, when I've ordered the week before, so very strange. Never got asked for drink refill after food was served as they never returned after that, too busy focused on talking to another customer about something that needed repairing at her home

This is sad to say…(don’t want to offend anyone) and I don’t know how to explain without using the wrong terminology. I witnessed the owner be discriminatory to people who look like him. I couldn’t believe my eyes but his servers were SO NICE to us and they were so rude to people who looked Hispanic (sorry if I’m not using the right term). There was a Hispanic couple who were seated before us and sat there with no menu in sight for a long time (at least 20 min). When the husband finally complained they were totally ignored. It’s sad in my opinion because this is a “Mexican restaurant” yikes :/

Absolutely love this restaurant! My husband was working in the area and we stopped in for dinner. Amazing food, amazing service! Every single employee came up to us to make sure everything was great! Everyone was SO sweet and had such a great attitude! The house salsa was the best I’ve ever had so I got a huge container to take home! It’s so rare to have great service AND great food these days, so I highly recommend this restaurant! We will be back for sure!

I picked up dinner for the wife and I for our 1st meal here. Her taco salad was excellent, and I tried the chili rellano/Verde burrito.....omg, such awesome flavor. Our new favorite spot up the hill.

This is the first time that we have ever been here and it was the most amazing restaurant experience that we have ever had. The food was amazing, and the service was awesome. It is family owned and their son who is out of school for the summer, was helping around the restaurant. He did an amazing job. Me and my wife had just checked out on our final day at a cabin in Lake Arrowhead and decided to stop there for lunch. So glad we did. We are willing to drive the hour from our home just to eat there. That's how great everything was. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. And I believe they also do breakfast. They were kind enough to allow me to get a picture with them in order to remember the experience. We love this restaurant, and we love this family. God-bless them. ❤

My husband and I are honeymooning from out of town and this was the first Mexican food we saw and we were amazed! The food was amazing, the staff was so attentive, and the owner was super nice as well. Everything was clean and the service was actually fast. Hopefully we come back again before we leave! Lots of parking, unusual for this area. Easy access. We both had the veggie omelette, it came with pan roasted potatoes. Really good, I was quite pleased with my impulse choice. It's the first place coming into Blue Jay from the west. Can't imagine anyplace else nearby being better.
