Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday for a small meal and tea. We were a bit full from an earlier outing, yet managed to try a few small appetizers and plates to curb our appetite. The tea was amazing! I recommend this place for a light meal. The ambiance was calm and quiet. Perfect for a small intimate celebration!

Our new favorite dining spot. Since the Montclair Nordstrom closed (our old regular lunch dining spot) we have now chosen the Brea Mall location. The staff are all friendly and very attentive. It's nice to see Carina again, she was at the Montclair location before. We also met Christian, server, who is VERY pleasant and hospitable. The rest of everyone are GREAT also. I wish I caught all their names.

It’s a great place to relax from all the shopping. Their food is pretty decent. The service could be slow during the busy hours, but I’ve never really had major problem. Their OJ is really good which is freshly squeezed. Their kid’s menu is good as well. I come here often enough whenever I shop!

Every time I eat here I'm like how do they not have a Michelin star. I had the French dip and the bf had the mushroom ravioli, the frech dip would 100% be my last meal and the bf said this is the best italian dish he has ever had beside a italian place he went to in Dubai. The magic bar made me roll my eyes and get mad at how good it was. I asked the server to heat it up a lil and I couldn't eat more then a few bites because, like you know, I was full of the best french dip on planet earth... the service was excellent. The girl working the register and some of the other register people had a bit of a attitude but like, I get it we were not cute as we had just come from a camping trip. All to say, eat here and you will never be disappointed

They have really good salad dressings. The salad was delicious. The sandwich should have been hot throughout. Some parts of the sandwich was cold.

First time here. Met up with a friend and her husband. My husband, me and my mom are from out of state. I thought the food was really delicious & service was great. Very good considering the week we've had.

just had one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time with my wife at Marketplace Café. This restaurant is an absolute gem and the experience was made even better with exceptional service. From the manager Karina who set up a beautiful table for us with extras on it to set a romantic mood, to our waitress Christina who was filled with delightful recommendations of her favorite dishes for us to consider, every bit of this experience was enjoyable. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were all memorable. Hats off to the chef 🧑‍🍳. Looking forward to frequenting this place the next time we are at Brea Mall, which knowing my wife will be sometime soon. 😆 Thanks Marketplace Cafe!

Love The Cafe @ Nordstrom! Food is always fresh, service delightful and the atmosphere is fun and always clean. Parking: Usually it s an easy in & out, with plenty of parking. Last time I went was 1week til Christmas so it was a bit more difficult to find a spot. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Mine are grown, but when they were younger they would come with me all the time!

I am writing this review on behalf of my mom. She is in her sixties, Asian, have some difficulty speaking English. She came with two friends who are like her, and they wanted to sit by the window. They were told they cannot and were given some strange reason about how the restaurant was understaffed? Even though there were people sitting by the window and more people were seated there as time went on? What does that even mean? The optics tell me this was very discriminatory, and my mom and her friends were ignored because of the language barrier. This is truly unacceptable. It s a restaurant inside a mall. Calm down.

For a shopping mall like Brea, there is a restaurant of good quality that is surprising. It is easy to order and there are few minefields. I like it.

Nordstrom s is my favorite place to shop and eat because the service is unbeatable. I don t typically come to Brea often but i have come this direction a few times these past few weeks. My grandma loves the Clam Chowder. The last time I visited didn t sit well with me. I dined in and ended up coming back after shopping to get some soup Togo. My server Sabrina while dining in was amazing. Only dine in complaint is that a guy was vacuuming while we were eating. The entire restaurant and close to all the tables. The rest of the staff not so much. Very much not the Nordstrom culture or vibe. As I was doing a Togo order the staff behind the counter was extra on their socializing about their personal lives. Which made it hard to place my order with the cashier. Another employee wearing two pigtail braids was eating a slice of cake behind the register as another employee was ringing people up. Yes I got to see her take a few bites, while i was waiting for my order. The order was ready and waiting on a counter without letting me know. I got up and asked a guy hey is this mine and went to show him my receipt and he was like you can check. I grabbed my order and left. To get home and my desert was a missing that i paid for. I called the store and got my money back from the manager of the cafe. I don t remember her name because she wasn t pleasant like the rest of the team. I explained to her about the employee eating and all she said was I ll speak with her. No apology or Nordstrom feel of that this will be taken care of. I will return to this location because of coarse Nordstrom has amazing food. Especially their soups. I just won t have any expectations that s for sure.

Very disappointed Menu change not great, poor variety options, except deserts as always. Had the chicken panini, soggy onion, greasy with little flavor except chili pesto to stronge. Didnt even finish. My sister chicken pesto sas lad not much better dry chicken aside plain salad. Sad use to be so nice.

Ordered Sante Fe Sandwich and Chicken Penne pasta during lunch. Enjoyed our meal. Shared some pasta with our 1-yr old grand daughter. We like eating at this restaurant because service is good, and the place has a nice pleasant atmosphere. Delicious food highlights everything. The coffee was strong, as good coffee should be. My husband likes meeting his clients here.
