My daughter and I had a late breakfast here and it was very nice. We were greeted and seated by a very friendly server who took our drink order immediately. Shortly after we ordered our food, which didn't take long. The food was hot and tasty. Checking out was quick and the server was very helpful with the gift card we had. The restaurant was clean as well as the restroom. The parking lot has ample parking with several handicapped spaces. I've been to this particular place several times over the years and I've never been disappointed.

This establishment never disappoints!! Every meal I’ve tried here has been delicious (Chefs Kiss). I love how IHOP is always adding new items to their menu so I never get bored coming here. Lastly, the customer service I always receive is 5 star!!

We come here every now and then. Everything is good but this time the food was lukewarm. I can't believe that the cooks were not aware of it. No excuses for sending out food that's cool. Normally, it's a very nice place to eat.

IHOP is no longer the International House of Pancakes... the International Pancakes are gone from the menu... there are very ordinary pancakes.. and typical coffee shop fare... Guess what... other coffee shops do it better and cheaper. No reason to eat here.

Anthony is the best waiter I’ve ever had at IHOP. My sister asked him to take her plate which had a lot of food on it and he said “are you sure no one else wants it?” I love that! A waiter who questions wastefulness! I ate the food that my sister was going to waste :)

When my kids ordered big plates he verified with us parents. Love that.

He was polite and exceptional despite the crowded morning!

Last Sunday in the morning I went with my kids here and there was a waitress named Juana that made my experience very good and she paid a lot of attention to us and also answered lots of our questions about the menu and I would definitely recommend going her and I would come back

Brea location horrible. First and last time coming here. This is the worst IHOP I’ve been to. Food portions/quality are not what you get at other IHOPs.

Usually the omelettes are robust well-made, but mine was nothing like the picture, and not like how IHOP typically makes them. Mine was thin, low quantity on the ingredients, and the pancakes were dry and overcooked.

My boyfriend’s strawberry pancakes with whipped cream were pathetically made the server kindly brought more strawberry toppings.

There are about three other restaurants in the general area will definitely be going to those not coming back to this one ever again.

Alejandra provided excellent customer service even while working solo. Went to Cocos down the street. And was ignored for over 10 minutes. So we walked out. I'm so glad we did. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and provided drinks instantly. On top of the terrific service. Food was delicious.

This California IHOP is completely different from the sub par/ half clean IHOP's in Texas. Very clean, fresh food, and great wait staff. Interesting to see the difference between the 2 states franchises.

I ordered take out today since the last time I ate in house the waitress had terrible customer service. Only to be more disappointed than the previous visit. The portions of food they give for take out is far less than when you eat there, I got one slice of turkey bacon and one slice of regular bacon, my French toast was physically too hard to consume. Needless to say I will never return to this location. Whoever lets the food leave in that condition should be fired because they're literally costing this place money in the form of return customers not returning ever again. The only positive was the cashier at the front very cordial and polite.

Disappointed that they no longer have a 55+ menu. They also don't serve cranberry juice anymore. Of course these were the two items I specifically requested. The server told me if I wanted a senior discount of 10% I'd have to ask the cashier when I paid the check. The pancakes were so hard I could have used them as a Frisbee. Unfortunate that they raise prices and overall quality. Not worth my time or money.

We visited on Father's Day, and they were busy. we had to wait half an hour. Naturally, they were busy, so the service was not very good. Food is the same for all IHOPs. This is a good sign that they all have the same kind of food.

The pancakes and the crispy breaded chicken sandwhich were very good. The waiter was very polite and was patient and was excellent. Service was very good. Only drawback is the ac is too much is too cold in the restaruent need to make the restaruent warmer.

Well, well, well, if it isn't IHOP - International House of Pancakes, or as I like to call it, the International House of PIGGING OUT! I recently tried their Mushroom and Spinach Omelette with a side of bacon, and let me tell you, I was oinking with joy. The bacon was so plentiful, I felt like I was in a pig pen. And speaking of pigs, the waitress must have thought I was one because I had to practically scream my order at her to get it across. But lucky for me, she heard me loud and clear and I got even more bacon! Bacon bacon bacon, it was like a dream come true.

Now, while the communication may have been a bit lacking, the service was still top-notch. Despite the busy atmosphere, I always get seated quickly and the waitstaff is always running around like chickens with their heads cut off to make sure everything is just right. And let me tell you, the coffee was so good, it was like I was drinking liquid gold.

The only downside was the watery orange juice, but hey, you can't win 'em all. And while the hash browns were nothing to write home about, this is still a great place to hang out with family and friends and enjoy the moment. So if you're looking for a place to indulge your inner pig, IHOP is the place to be!

Went on a Tuesday and the wait for food took a lot longer then expected and it was nowhere near busy, on top of the long wait the portions were too small! I ordered a side of hash browns and they literally gave me a small square that was burnt on the outside and not cooked properly in the inside! Very disappointing and won’t be returning.

Service was horrible. The waiter sat me in a booth and never came back.
I waited for 15 minutes? The restaurant was not busy. The couple two tables away,,paid their bill as I looked at the menu and noticed the waiter never even looked at me so I asked them how the service was before I came in? They said it was fine? So I left (unhappy and hungry).

I'm really glad the city has this IHOP. For some reason I do not understand why the city of Brea does not have the Denny's restaurant. But almost every Sunday it is our tradition to order breakfast from here in the morning and I go pick it up. The quality is great the service is wonderful. They have very nice restaurant manager who knows his customers. And the quality of the food and service is very nice.

After 10 minutes of our family's arrived, we were led to our table, then we sat and waited for approximately 25 minutes.
I called the gentleman who took us to the table and let him know we are ready to order.
People came in after us, a couple, 4 other parties, 3 20-something men, and 1 middle age lady, all sat, ordered, and got their breakfast on their table.
I made another signal, then a manager-type came, and nicely took orders for us.
Then the server came.
I felt mistreated.
Not thinking to come to this location anytime soon.

The last 2 times my family and i have been to visit, service has been atrocious. The second to last time, it was empty, we were literally the only people and service was still ridiculously slow. No water refills, no one checking on us.
Just visited again last night and will not be returning. Came in a little after 5 and left a little after 7. Now, the place was decently packed and only one waiter but she completely ignored our table after seating us, making multiple trips to other tables and taking orders of people she had seated after us. People who came in after us all received food before we could even order..she checked on us once, never refilled our waters either.
Another table had to constantly get up to ask about their food and even the check so they could leave, she kept disappearing. Even when another waiter showed up at 6, service was still slow and non existent. Didn't bother asking for anything as i wasn't willing to be there til 9. My kids were so cranky and hungry, and we all left very unsatisfied. Food was decent, I ordered buttermilk chicken but the side of mac and cheese was awful and cold like it was sitting for an hour.
Also took note that no tables were available as we left because none of the other tables had been bussed and cleaned.
After that terrible disaster of service, we will not be returning.

Breakfast is my favorite type of food and IHOP always delivers! The double blueberry pancakes are my go to item. I also like to get an order of scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. Today we visited this location and our server Josimar was very attentive and also recommended options from their specials. We always get seated quickly and the location is clean and right next to Brea mall.

Generations of family love this establishment, and the food is what you expect. Kids eat free in the evening, old people are everywhere.

Come for breakfast, try all the syrups, don't wear a clown face and ask for a rooty tooty.

Grear service. I live in Anaheim but I prefer to take my family to this location even though there's several location near by my house because of the food quality and customer service and more. We always get 2 entrées and share with my 2 kids because they serve you a decent amount of food and refills. Definitely a good place to hang out with family and friends and enjoy the moment. Great experience overall.
