The young lady who works at the cafe was courteous and welcoming. The other patron seemed disenterested, and not very welcoming.

The panini sandwich i had was bland. Furthermore, when i asked for avacado instead of Bacon, i was given what looked like Avacado, but one can hardly call it Avacado.

Yogurt parfait, consistent of strawberries, raisins, and oats, yogurt was vanilla. It was pretty small but the ingredients were higher quality so it compensated for the size. Spent around 5 dollars.

Nailed it! This cute little cafe deserves more than five stars. Such kind women run this establishment! Incredibly delicious food with croissants that melt in your mouth. And oh my goodness the little bakery. Adorable! I came here with two other colleagues for breakfast. We ordered the croissant sandwich, and my colleagues ordered the burritos. We all had coffee and chai tea. Everything was delicious, hot, and the service was just incredible. I'm shocked that others have not taken the time to write such a great review on this establishment. The place was packed by the time we left. And it's no wonder! Can't wait to come back.

Great sandwich. Panini was so-so.
Ok customer service. Nice attitude. Prices are decent. Not enough space for proper dining and too much cold air allowed in when door propped open. Wasn't offered refill without asking. Otherwise, better than most hole-in-the-wall cafés, especially in Brea.

Disappointing BLT.
Small amount of bacon, and burnt.
Bacon was well overcooked with a charcoal flavor and hard crunch.
Not worth the cost.
The website menu is not the correct price. Everything is a dollare more than currently shown online.

Came here one day after my chiropractor appointment next door. Lots of options to choose from and the person that greeted was very cheerful - loved it! Went with a spinach breakfast wrap. A bit pricey, but i feel that’s everywhere now. The wrap was good and I think they used a panini press to finish it up because it was nice and toasted on the outside.

Overall a good choice for a quick bite.

Simple cafe with several fresh pastry options and breakfast and lunch menu items. We had the bagel and eggs and bagel with salmon breakfast. Both enjoyable yet the Salmon bagel had a bit much pepper. Coffee was great and presented in a simple mug you would have at home.

Its indoor dining has a "cozy" feel to it. Easy ambiance music makes enjoying breakfast a bit more relaxing. Friendly service. Price a bit on the high side but for a quiet place to start off the morning it maybe worthwhile. Family owned establishment.

Carmel Café features great food fresh and well made, superb baking - croissants as good as what you would get in Paris, and warm friendly ambiance. It is worth a trip to Brea just to eat here.

Love this little cafe! Great food! Everyone is super friendly there and the food they cook up is so delicious! They also have handmade seasonal decor art from local artists that you can purchase. It's so nice to see a business care about their community and supporting local artists.

This cafe is delicious and family owned. They are so nice and it’s cute to hear the “customer service” voice vs one if the girls regular voice (which is just a nice and genuine) the prices are spot on!!!!!!!! Please don’t raise them and OMG if only you were open on the weekends! Even for a minimal amount of time. Today would have been my third day eating here lol I meant to take a picture but it was too late. The avocado pesto toast was delicious.

Moved back to the area recently and was looking for a nice breakfast spot for a burrito. This popped up just around the corner from our house, the menu looked good, croissants looked great, so I decided to try it out. My wife and I went all out the first time and split the burrito and the breakfast sandwich, as well as a strawberry croissant. Admittedly too much food, but we wanted to try it all. It took a little longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. The croissant was warm, flaky and delicious. The sandwich was great, with a fluffy egg, great sauce and tasty bacon. I love burritos and this one did not disappoint. From the fluffy eggs to the potato hash, the homeade salsa and the final panini grill on the tortilla, it was fantastic! Looking forward to trying out more of their offerings!

Best service ever. I went in yesterday the 17th of February and had delicious jasmine passion fruit tea which I highly recommend. And they have a hefty choice of meal options from wraps and coissants to chips and desserts. They even have a soup of the day

This place has been popping up on my to go list for a while now and I finally got to go during my lunch. They're mostly opened for breakfast/lunch, they do coffee, tea, pastries, sandwiches soups ect and they also bake cakes. The staff was super bubbly and friendly and took my order right away. I got the sugar free hazelnut latte and a cherry chocolate turnover. The turnover is so flakey and buttery, the chocolate cherry filling is sweet, tart, and so tasty. The lattee is super creamy and pipping hot. I love this place.
