Ambience is amazing. Food serving portions is usually large atleast good for three. Best for couples and family to dine in here. Amazing ambience!! Wow. Tried eggplant parmigiana - it was very good. Will return to try other items in their menu.

We had a 2 birthday celebration at a table that accommodated all of us perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered Ceasars salad, fettuccine Alfredo, chic parmesan and chic marsela, which was fabulous! The waitress was there for our every need but not overbearing. We loved the old Italian decor. My son had his service dog with him, and there was no mention or recourse. We laughed, we ate and had great conversation.

We had my mother's 80th birthday dinner here, and it was wonderful. Because there were over 20 in our reservation, they put us in a room which wound up being only us. This was my first visit to this really fun and stylish restaurant. Having celiac I'm not always a fan of Italian restaurants because of the obvious. Even though there weren't a lot of gluten-free options, The Chicken Limon with lemon butter sauce and capers was delicious! The chicken was very moist and tasty - yum!! I had a side of steamed broccoli which was very good. When you walk in the restaurant you go through the kitchen to get to the dining tables. Very old world feeling.

I love Italian food. Not every place can do it right but this one can. The seasoning, the taste, the cook time and portions all authentic and given with respect from their family to mine. I will gladly travel another 200 miles to eat here.

Food was good and pricey. Yes, big portions and you will always take some home. We waited for drinks longer than I would hope. Food was served in an appropriate time frame. All food came out together. Some flavors were bland, but family enjoyed the atmosphere and overall experience.

It is a big restaurant with lots of decorations all around the walls! The servers are very nice and experienced, I loved it. Just know that all of the menus are for 3 or more people! Small = 3 people amount lol

We had my mother's 80th birthday dinner here, and it was wonderful. Because there were over 20 in our reservation, they put us in a room which wound up being only us. Ours server was wonderful, so I gave the 5 stars. Truthfully, they should've had someone helping him, but I can't discount his efforts with a lower rating.

Went in on thanksgiving. Each meal is about 30-40$ per plate but I went in on thanksgiving and tried their Thanksgiving family meal. Turkey a little dry and the rest of the dishes were bland AF . I only liked the gravy and mashed potatoes. Not sure ill even be back to try the regular Italian food. Atmosphere and service were A1 though so it made up for the lack of good food.

Buca di Beppo has such an amazing Italian atmosphere. I took my girlfriend's family here for dinner, and the staff was so accommodating and hospitable. Our meal was ordered "Family Style", and was served promptly and with consideration of all at the table. Everything was delicious, with the exception of the pasta being slightly overcooked. In all fairness, we like aldente pasta.

The chicken carbonara was amazing. We noticed our table was a folding table, so not very stable.
Got walked thru the kitchen and saw their cakes are basic store bought individual slices, so don't waste your money.

Visited Buca many many times and the food is always good!!!

My favorite place to get some pasta.

I always order the Frutti Di Mare with Alfredo sauce and I highly highly recommend it!!! They have small and big portions but they are both pretty big.

Service is usually good and the wait time is also good.

It is a bit pricey but if you have coupons, it is very reasonable.

I always come here when I have a coupon for Buca.

Overall fantastic Italian restaurant to get some pasta and is definitely family friendly!!!

Buca is really ideal for larger families looking for plates to share. The staff are patient and courteous, not out of this world food but a solid choice if you want to have a get together. Also have a quality picture taken for the memories while you’re at it!

Got take out food was good and still very hot after my 30 minute car ride home in traffic. Lasagna is always a great choice as well as their fettuccine Alfredo. Salad was a little old but still edible. Bread was fresh.

Judging from the other reviews, I had some what high expectations of this restaurant. I was sadly let down. The food was very bland and also too expensive for the portion sizes and quality. I'm giving two stars because my waiter was very nice.

Awesome! I absolutely loved the food, the service (Janet), and the atmosphere! Our server Janet was amazing!

I ordered the quattro plate, baked rigatoni, and the fettuccine Alfredo. My favorite was the quattro plate and the Alfredo. The baked rigatoni was aldente, so it wasn't to my liking.

It was my daughter's birthday so I ordered the birthday brownie which was huge! We absolutely loved the brownie dessert 🍨, and the staff sang happy birthday. 😊

This was my first visit to Bucca de Peppo, and it won't be my last.

It was a wonderful dining experience, we ordered the spaghetti and meatball family dish, lemon chicken and house salad. We were vacationing with grandkids and they did not complain about anything. It’s a great place for the whole family.

I had a meeting scheduled at Buca in Brea, as I've had great experiences at other Buca locations. Unfortunately, this visit was quite disappointing. I ordered a sandwich and water, but it took 45 minutes to receive a stale sandwich and what seemed like reheated old fries. The staff was apologetic, but I couldn't help feeling sorry for them because it wasn’t their fault. Despite my forgiving nature, the experience was a letdown. The restaurant was empty at noon, yet they seemed understaffed in the kitchen. I may stick to my local Buca in the future, but I do hope this particular location improves.

Food is Not very tasty, I was a little disappointed. Each plate was about 30-45 dollars and it wasn't that good. Service was good but like I said food was very disappointing 😕 Chicken Alfredo had No flavor, Green Bean casserole was salty. Spicy shrimp pasta was a little more flavored than the other dishes. Chicken plate was ok but $45.00 for 3 chicken steaks in a limon sauce was too much. With that $$ I could of bought at least 3-4 whole chickens. Anyway Sorry Bucca you have to put more flavor in your food if your prices are going to be that high.

Great atmosphere and great service. Love the food served family style. We had calamari for our appetizer and Chicken saltimbolco with an order of garlic bread. Dessert was the. Chocolate chip conolli. All was delicious. I celebrated my birthday here and they sang a happy birthday song with a 3 candle candelabra to make 3 birthday wishes plus free ice cream. It was a great night.

Catering review:

- ordered catering a week in advance
- received confirmation of order day of order
- 3 hours before the event, I received the attached email stating my order was not sent to the store.
- Upon calling, I was told the bank flagged the charge as fraud, and this was a "common issue" for Buca Di Beppo orders and customers (if common, why not fix?)
- checked the bank account and was charged, no reversal on the account
- The suggested solution was to pay for the order again by providing my card information over the phone (risky and unusual ask for anyone that has had identity stolen or compromised), OR
- spend more of my time calling my bank on a Saturday to release funds even though my bank did not alert me of any fraudulent activity and already charged me for the order.
- the agent who helped over the phone didn't understand the inconvenience, the unsecure ask of personal data, or the extended effort to fix a problem
- spent 20 minutes on the phone and got nowhere

Never again! This same summary is posting anywhere and everywhere to prevent others from this horrible experience

Everything they make here is delicious! The baked ziti was out of this world, every bite was somehow better than the last lol. The cannoli was the perfect way to end the meal as well, absolutely phenomenal! And the staff are so friendly, which is a HUGE bonus. This is my new spot!

Mi esposo y yo fuimos en fin de semana, y cada plato es muy copioso, es un plato para compartir, su sabor es auténtico italiano. No es tan salado, solo siento que sus precios son un poco elevados.
El restaurante es un tanto peculiar, tiene su decoración muy auténtica, me gusta el salón donde tienen las botellas en el techo.

The food is delicious. This is the second time my wife and I have been there and the calamari is so good. The first time we were there over 5 years ago we said we would go back well we finally did and we found out that now they add chili peppers to the sauce. If ruined my wife’s lunch since she does not eat chili she drank 3 glasses of water and it was not helping. We had chicken carbonero and somehow that helped her. We will go back not yet but this time we will ask for no chili on the sauce. I wanted to give them 5 stars but my wife almost ran out the door and I could not blame her. I was very shocked with the prices. We just had three things and it was over $100!!!

Arrabiata pizza not as good as I remember. They had no hot tea ir decaf coffee but the Apple gorgonzola salad was REALLY good. Go back just for that & the stuffed mushrooms.

I had lunch with my friend and it was absolutely wonderful. The service was great that food was great. Everything was perfect. I certainly would recommend it. I did not do the family style. Cuz there was just the 2 of us. We did them lunch menu, and it was just for 1 person. We each ordered what we wanted.

Every year a friend of mine has a big gathering at Buca in the Popes room. We always have fun and enjoy the food. The Pope's room is unique because of the acoustics you can easily talk to someone across the large round table as easily as the person next to you. The ceiling is curved so it bounces the voice from above sounding a little like a speaker. We order multiple family style dishes and everyone gets their chance at many flavorful dishes. The desserts are worth saving space for, they are as good to eat as they look. 4 stars for the food as it is very good it is not the best. It's just a little bland for Italian cuisine.

The food and service was good. They need to invest in new tables and chairs. The chairs were so bad and decrepit. Our waitress had to search to find decent chairs because the ones we were sitting on were falling apart. (Big time liability).

Service was good in the beginning but then, the place got really busy and our server was not able to fulfill our request for to go boxes.

I usually don’t do this, but last Friday I went to go eat here And it was horrible two hours after we left everybody in my family started throwing up we all got food poisoning I would’ve understood if maybe just one or two would’ve got it then I would’ve said it was a stomach flu for my whole family, including myself to get sick after eating here was not cool at all and more because we were celebrating my birthday. I was upset for some reason two days later I called this establishment. I talked to the managers that was in charge that night. She looked up my reservation that was for 645. She told me exactly that it was a party for six and after all, this was confirmed she hung up the phone, I don’t know what the issue was what maybe if I would’ve got treated with respect when I called I would’ve not left this review, but I kind of feel that the waiter wasn’t there as well. I would have to be calling him to get refills on my drink get me more water. It was just a mess, I would definitely not be going back to establishment. I think the only good thing about this night was the young lady and the guy who were taking pictures. They were more attentive of my table than the waiter. Hopefully you guys can do better next time.

I had a mixed experience at Buca De Beppo in Brea. While the ambiance was great for a birthday celebration, I couldn't help but feel frustrated by the long wait times. The food took forever to arrive, and even our drinks were delayed. However, once the Ravioli's finally made their appearance, I was in culinary heaven. They were absolutely delicious and worth the wait.

The Vodka de Penne was a delightful surprise, though it did pack a spicy kick. The combination of flavors was intriguing and left me craving more despite the slow service. Speaking of birthdays, the restaurant does offer a festive atmosphere that's perfect for celebrating special occasions.

To end on a sweet note, the chocolate cake was a satisfying conclusion to the meal. It managed to salvage some of the earlier frustrations with its rich and indulgent taste. While the delays were disappointing, the memorable flavors of the Ravioli and Vodka de Penne, along with the festive setting, could make Buca De Beppo a worthwhile choice for a celebratory meal.

I had $25 coupon so I thought I would try with my family however, I had to say sorry to my family after going there. I ordered meat pasta, it was blend, and overpriced. And pasta was also cold. Also kids ordered pizzas and pizzas were worse than microwaveable pizza. all my family didn't finish their meal. Seems all precooked and no chef available in the restaurant. Uggh... I will never go back there.

I haven't been in so long because of where I live, but when I get the chance... I take it. They never disappoint. On this visit, we had the pleasure of meeting and working with Kathy as our waitress. She was amazing and really put a smile on everyone's face. The food came out, and always, was amazing. Large enough portions to share with the rest of the table. You can't be upset visiting. We visited Buca Di Beppo after many,many years. Food was less impressive than what we remembered. It wasn't bad or anything, just nothing to be wowed with. The pizza came out Luke warm less ooyee, gooye than it used to. The Chicken Parmesan was well made but not enough seasoning, and again, it wasn't hot. I don't know if it was slow service or what, but we came back full but not happy.

Pasta is dry with hardly any sauce… the drop of sauce that was on there had hardly any flavor what so ever.
Highly disappointed.
Their food appeared to be delicious in online photos.

Buca is great service and friendly servers. The only thing that I didn't like was the parking in the back. Very dark with not enough lighting. Scary times for all of us!

This is a great to go and eat with friends and family. It has a great Italian American atmosphere and the food is not that bad...😊

Great place to celebrate from a solo to large party. They serve food big enough for family to share and still have a take home. Price are reasonable and budget wise. Come visit and try with friends..great italian food.

I ordered a chicken in a lemon sauce with capers,the chicken was rapped in proscuito forget the exact name of it it,said would feed 2 to 3 people when i got it and took it home i opened it 3 small pieces of chicken wrapped in proscuitto, which was over cooked and thats it no noodels our anything which the chicen was very small also thats it i paid 37.71 for this garbage, at this price i called back and stated to the person on the phone is this all i get for almos 40 bucks she said yep stay away from this rip off..

Food was good and pricey. Yes, big portions and you will always take some home. We waited for drinks longer than I would hope. Food was served in an appropriate time frame. All food came out together. Some flavors were bland, but family enjoyed the atmosphere and overall experience.

HONEST REVIEW: I finally tried this place but it was very disappointing. I love the decor and the atmosphere, BUT the food is no nothing to write home about... the spaghetti sauce is just really very plain and average. Just give me the noodles and I'll bring my own spaghetti sauce next time thank you.

Gary was our amazing server! He was friendly, involved, offered suggestions and was engaging in a very enjoyable manner.
Our meals were perfectly prepared and served in a timely manner. We will be back!
