Baja Fish Tacos

Pretty good fish taco spot. I do remember the fish tacos being way better the last time I was here though. The fish was in small strips which was weird and it just wasn't packed with flavor how I remember. But this is happening with a bunch of restaurants these days. The star of the meal were the shrimp taquitos, omg they were so bomb! My kids got the burrito which looked good and the shrimp tacos which looked better than my fish tacos. Overall it's a pretty tasty place where you can't really go wrong with most choices. I will say prices seem insane these days, it cost $99 for four of us to eat which was each of us getting a dish plus the taquitos and two drinks. Nuts.

This has become our favorite last minute meal, Saturday afternoon treat, friendly meetup destination. Every item we’ve had has been delicious. All the friends we’ve brought here have very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Do not pass on the onion from the salsa bar, you may need a beer to wash down the heat but the flavor it will add to any burrito or taco will not disappoint.

The food is clean, the ingredients are fresh, the food is plentiful and very delicious, and the staff are especially friendly. Asada tacos are made with steak, the meat is tender and delicious, and there is a separate seasoning section, so it is very convenient.
The outdoor seating is very spacious, so you can bring your dog.

There is no better place to get delicious, fresh and quality fish tacos! My family and I come here at least once a month and we all love it! The staff is always so friendly and attentive. They have a wonderful salsa bar, but best of all is that they offer chiles toreados for free.

The menu is slightly confusing, but staff is willing to answer all questions as best they can. Prices are on the high side for Mexican food. An à la carte burrito can reach close to $18.00 if you're not paying attention.

Now all that being said, here's the upside. Restaurant is new, clean and very roomy inside. Very pleasant dining experience. There's outdoor seating too!

But the most important part is the quality of the food.... Which is top notch! Everything was fresh, prepared well and pleasing to look at.

High quality ingredients are the norm, from the chips and all three kinds of salsa to the grilled shrimp being firm with hints of "grill" kissed on their cook. Even the carne asada meat was top tier selection.

So if you're a fan of high quality food and Mexican fare and don't mind paying for it, then you need to drop in and grind.

Had a shrimp burrito and did not disappoint! Kinda pricey but I think it's worth it. The green salsa is packed with flavor and spicy. Definitely coming back for other menu items. 😋

I had the carne asada tacos and they were delicious! Squeeze some lime and pour some of that green salsa and bam...perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful. Maybe next I'll try the carne asada burrito.

Unfortunately have to write this review because it was THAT bad. First off, the prices are INSANE. Drinks are $5 a piece, the food is flavorless and $19 for a burrito, AND the girl working the counter was rude. Never going back. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible.

The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is the cost. Since covid, the prices are pretty high and I noticed portions seem smaller. Staff is nice and quality seems okay.

First time I ever tried this spot was in Newport Beach. I was so excited when they opened one in Brea- near my home. Great food and worth stopping by. Only negative I have to say is that ordering pick up is the same as ordering in. They don't have a separate online order pick up line. This place gets busy so it's extremely annoying to have to wait in line behind families when all you want to do is get your food before its cold.

Really tasty food prepared in a healthy manner. It's a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Since poquito más closed in Buena Park, this is the best lealthy Mexican food option in the area.

I just want to give a shout out to the employees at Baja Fish Tacos in Brea. We eat here often and this is our favorite location. They are always on top of their job. This restaurant is always super clean. As soon as someone is finished they immediately clean the tables and go the extra mile. Not just surface. The floors are always swept. It’s very impressive. They are courteous, friendly and helpful. The cooks are the boss! The food is always delicious.
As I sat here enjoying my meal I was feeling very appreciative of the awesome employees.

Excellent fish tacos. We ordered both Ala Carte as well as a meal. Sides are plentiful so the 2 sides (R&B) served both of us. We'll be revisiting if we're out in Brea again. Would love to have this establishment in our area.

The first order I did online was wrong. When I picked it up from the restaurant, It looked like a carne asada burrito that I had ordered but when I got home to eat it I saw that it was missing 3 of the 5 ingredients (guacamole, cheese and pico de Gallo) However, after speaking with the manager, Michelle, and going back the next day they made it right. The menu item, carne asada burrito, when prepared properly is delicious. With tax it is a little over $16 but it is a very generous portion. For me it was enough for 2 meals. When I went into the restaurant on Saturday to get the remade item the store was clean and refreshingly cool on a hot hazy day. The employees were very nice. A special thanks to Michelle for completely resolving the problem. She is the manager and I have the feeling she will take steps so that this type of problem doesn't happen in the future. If it is prepared right the first time on my next order I will change review to 5 stars! :)

The menu was easily read, clear and descriptive while the servers were happy to answer any questions regarding the menu. Once served, which was faster than expected, service continued with the staff occasionally checking expectations were met and if they could provide any other service. The food was delicious, the prices fair, and the restaurant itself was clean and tidy. This will become a place I'll return to frequently, especially when craving exceptional Mexican seafood.

For this place I'm just gonna keep it short, I've been eating here since their fist restaurant on Bristol in Santa Ana CA and I can tell you it's as good as their first meal 15 or so years ago, you can't go wrong with any item on their menu, when you have consistency in your food for so long you know you are doing this right!! First time visiting this restaurant. I have heard good things about it and wanted to give it a shot. I placed my order with the girl and ordered a Baja salad to take to my wife. I asked for shrimp and when she rung it up, I was being charged $25.50 just for the salad. I asked why it was so expensive and she said because I added shrimp. I asked her how much extra was the shrimp and she said that the price was on the board. I said there was no price there and changed it to fish instead. I also asked for her extra dressings which she didn’t give me. When leaving, I asked the manager for the dressings she didn’t put in my order and he said that she didn’t charge me for them. He wanted to charge me $1.20 for the additional two 2 ounce containers. I am not going to run my card for $1.20, that’s rediculous and the girl should have listened to me. Good food, expensive and I won’t be back. First impressions…

I stopped in to pick up dinner. Ordered fish tacos and a chicken enchilada plate. Cashier was friendly and very helpful with the menu, since it was my first time. Food was fresh and delicious. Good portions. It's a fairly new restaurant with lots of indoor seating and nice modern decor. Very clean. Will definitely visit again.
