WORST SERVICE CHIPOTLE EVER! I ordered a bowl and chips. The server tossed the bowl on the cashier counter and the lettuce spilled. What the attitude! After I paid, The big guy cashier just gave me the receipt then left the counter, didn’t give me the chips. I had stand there for couple of minutes, then he came back and ignored me, started to serve next customer. I asked him that he didn’t give me the chips. He impatiently handed me the chips, then smiled to the next customer. Why? Maybe I’m Asian, next person is white? Or the owner doesn’t even train their employees.

This used to be my preferred location. Recently there has been a decline in service. Before the location was relatively clean and the service was good. Now the dinning room is constantly messy with dirty tables and no where to sit. I enjoy the soda alternatives they offer however I’ve gone many times and the bubblers are empty. The day I went the same person doing the to go orders was also the cashier. It seems that management needs to do a better job scheduling or hire a few more people. The workers are stretched thin and it is affecting the restaurant.

We came for lunch after church. We got carne asada and chicken bowls, which were good. We liked the Berry and Mandarin Agua Frescas.
It can get quite busy during lunch and dinner time. The tables could be wiped down a little faster for new customers looking for a seat.

This has to be the biggest disappointment I have ever experienced. Ordered online ahead of time to give myself time to pick up and for them to make my food the correct way. Seems to me they are either disgruntled or impatient because this was rushed and minimally portioned they call this a quesadilla???? It’s tiny has, no cheese and stuck to the bottom of the cardboard carrier because of how burnt it is. Year later no response how unprofessional

The staff are very unkind. They keep talking to one another even when the customers are waiting. Those staff seem very unprofessional and uninterested in their jobs.
The restaurant is dirty, and the drink fountain is full of ice. It was one of the worst Chipotle I ever visited.
The vegetable bowl was soooo salty and tasted nasty. The rice was undercooked. I have loved this menu for over 10 years, and this is my first time that I did not enjoy the dish.

The food always seems to be OK, however, when I got my food, I looked around and there were four empty tables, but all of them were dirty so I had to sit outside and by the way, you might want to fill up your napkin holders they were totally empty Even with six or seven people behind the counter they can t seem to get the ferry well organized here Vegetarian options: Get the salad with black beans and rice and you re all good

This is my favorite Chipotle in the area. Its the only one that gives 12 oz. beer bottles compared to the 7.8 oz they give in Placentia. This location is also much cleaner. The workers had everything stocked which is something Im not used to and it all looked freshly cooked as well. This store needs to teach the State College location and the Placentia location how a Chipotle should be ran.

Not well stocked on ingredients when I went through. Messy dining area. Overflowing trash cans. Out of date bathroom. While I was eating the food tasted fine but at the end of the day it felt like I had food poisoning.

Placed a mobile order at 12:48pm this afternoon. The app said my order would be ready at 1:00pm. When I arrive the order was not done and there was no one in the area where online orders are made. After a few minutes, 2 workers finally emerged from the back and began making orders again. I stood patiently and waited but it was not until 1:08pm when the worker asked my name for the order. I told her it s Jorge and it was supposed to be ready at 1:00pm. She gave me the lame excuse of sorry, we had to get more tortillas from the back. This is unacceptable. Usually I would be lenient given that they are usually overworked and underpaid. However, since Newsom raised the minimum wage for fast food workers to 20 dollars an hour they can no longer use the underpaid excuse. I will be taking my business elsewhere next time and would suggest others do the same.

Workers have an attitude and are not considerate of giving you fresh quality toppings. Rice and beans were undercooked, didn t even finish my bowl. The tables were dirty and there was no forks.

By far the worst Chipotle I ve ever been too. Crap attitudes on all the workers faces, not a welcoming environment at all. Went in for lunch around 12:15pm, normal day, normal line. They had no Brown rice, no cheese, and all other food looked stale and old. Do better and be more prepared.

Portions here are so small, especially if you mobile order. Food is bland, the rice is not mixed and tends to be chunky. Workers can be super short with you for no reason. I d say avoid this location if you can and just go to another one

This was the smallest burrito I had ever had at Chipotle. Most of the time, they are the length of my hand or bigger. This one was tiny. The rice and steak were very dry. It was difficult to eat.

This has happened to me 4 times now. When I order through the app and go to pick up my food I always have the unfortunate timing to run into employee, Nim. When I pickup my order, I like to ask for extra mild salsa on the side. I dont know what his problem is with me but Nim scolds me every time telling me to order the extra salsa through the app. Every time I tell him I cant because once I add it in my bowl the option to add it on the side is gone. So today, of course he does it again with a condescending voice so I ask him to show me through my app. Of course he cant because the app is not made to do that. We get into an argument and then he proceeds to tell me he has to charge extra. Keep in mind when I order in person I have never been charged but fine, just charge me then. But do not talk down to me. I am a customer. I get his name and ask another employee to speak with the manager. And guess who shows up? Nim! I was so shocked a manager would talk to his customers the way he talks to me. Please retrain your employees. Especially an employee who should set an example for the other employees.

Friday at 8:00 PM: -four employees I could see, but only one on the line -no food on the grill -out of guac -out of steak -which they didn t announce or post, just waited until next customer ordered to let us know -took literally 10 min to make a bowl and a salad for one customer bc -their line was a total mess and barely stocked with many items -no sense of urgency -zero acknowledgement of waiting customers; they could have explained apologetically that (maybe) there was just a big rush, but nope nothing -really just seemed bored and feckless -when asked why didn t they let us know about the steak they looked blankly at us, literally didn t say a word Incidentally, the woman in front of me said that she comes there every other Friday night and it is almost always like this We both ended up walking out. I went over to Chick-Fil-A and though there were at least 20 cars lined up in the drive-thru, I got my food hot and fresh (with kind greeting and thank you) within 5 minutes from when I entered to when I drove out. Whomever manages this Chipotle should try to learn from them.

Do not recommend this location for portion size bowl here very light.They also had no sour cream, mild or hot salsa! Was there at 915pm (close at 10pm) bathroom was flooded with water I thought! Then saw a girl cleaning? the other one just left standing water over 1 high all over floor. I was so afraid of slipping and falling with just thongs on.

Probably this is my first time to give bad reviews to the restaurant because I usually never visit or just ignore of it. The reason I give them 1 star is because there is no choice for 0 or negative star. First time, I ordered through the app and be there on time. However, my order wasnt ready and nobody wasnt making my order because they have to take care of customers on the line. One employee told me that I have to be on the line just same as other people who just starting order their food. I was upset because I was there for just pick up. At the end, I had to wait 20 more minutes to get my food. After this experience, I never visited this location again. But today I visited wine shop right next to this place, so I tried one more time. It was morning time and definitely not busy peak time since there were only two customers in the restaurant. Food was ready but no one helps me to get it. More like no one cares about their customers, and young employees were chit chatting all the time. So, I asked them to help me to get my food. On top of that, my order wasnt correct because there was no fajita veggies. I really wonder how this place is working. Even my mail man who lives in Brea told me this place have bad customer service. I wish people would have good experiences when they visit this place, but you have to expect this might happen to you too.

Nothing looked fresh! I did not choose the carnitas for my protein, but just looking at the carnitas grossed me out a little like that meat looked as if it had been sitting under the heat lamp for 12+ hours. I ended up getting the hottest salsa just because all the other salsas looked as if they had been sitting out since yesterday (especially the green salsa, which is my go to) I mean, at least the burrito was filling, and the guacamole was good (that s about the only thing that was fresh). Oh, Also, they gave me NO NAPKINS for my burrito.

Disappointing experience. The reason to go to a chain is for consistency. This place is very inconsistent. My last visit was approximately 40 minutes before they closed. Ordered online. When I got my order, it was very obvious they were trying to stretch out their remaining ingredients so they didnt need to prep more before they closed. Everything was smaller than usual. Ordered a bowl with double chicken. They did not add double chicken. Had brown rice that was the scraped-up crusty remains. I almost broke a tooth on a grain it was so hard. They put corn salsa on my order, which I did not order. They quality of everything else was sub-par. If you read the other negative reviews there is a common theme. If you are going to eat here, do not order online. Go into the store and observe them making your food. I will avoid this location going forward.

TO THE MANAGER: (Maybe shift lead, the girl with the gage earrings) Try assessing a situation first before jumping to overcharge the customer. I don t view it as the nice girl at the front s fault, it actually falls back on you for not training her properly/ enough. I was told the kids meal came with 3 sides so I got 3 sides. When I came to the register to pay the manager comes out of the back, ignores me, and whispers to the cashier to charge me for an extra side without seeing or hearing anything that just happened. Again, the front girl was amazing and 5 star customer service and same thing with the nice cashier who was just doing what she was told. This bad review is solely for the manager.

I ordered a quesarito and asked for it to be extra crispy. The quesarito came out wilted with cheese barely melted (and not the toasted consistency that the restaurant typically boasts) and I let them know. She told me that she didnt want to toast it anymore and I said thats fine, but not to charge me for the quesarito surcharge since it did not come out at the correct consistency. Genesis then came in with the intention of escalating this and said that I would be charged for the quesarito no matter what and started to talk over me, and was extremely rude and abrasive. I then asked for my burrito to be remade and immediately she said that she was not going to serve me, and stomped out in a flourish. I was standing there and she returned to tell me that she had called the police on me and that I needed to leave, in an attempt to demoralize and disgrace me. A lady in line who clearly noticed the wrongdoing of the manager (Genesis) , had come up to me and asked me to go ahead of her to have my burrito remade. Genesis then runs out in a frenzy and tells all the staff to not serve me. That I need to get out and that the cops are here. I stood there in shock. A burrito remake should not constitute the problematic action of calling the police on an African American woman in casual wear asking for a quesarito. I spoke to the police when they arrived who also disagreed with the reason that they were called. The police encouraged me to pursue this complaint, and provided me their name and case number to access the police report and pursue next steps. Originally, I didnt perceive any difference in this Chipotle from others, only to find out that this restaurant has received copious negative complaints related to food quality, customer service and STAFF misconduct in the past. Now add discrimination/racial bias to the list. It is of no wonder when the GM chose to leave the restaurant in the hands of Genesis, a rogue, insecure person filled with implicit racial bias/prejudice with a penchant for escalating incidents to satisfy her own self disillusionment and a total lack of conflict resolution competence. I have made attempts to follow up with Eren Garcia and Viviana Belmudez, and will continue to make periodic follow ups about this issue until it is fully addressed.

I have been going to this Chipotle for some time now, and I have always had great service and portions. They have a young guy there that was rude and barely put any chick on my tacos and then starting piling lettuce on that I disnt ask for. After I tell him to stop he gives me all this attitude and says This is ok, right?. I responded with No and then he starts picking it off and says Is that enough? when it is still covered with lettuce. He then gets really rude and asks if I want him to remake it. I wanted to walk out and I should have, but I just said it fine and then he under charged me so Im not sure if he was up to something or not. I wont return this location until he is fired and the location is retrained. So disappointing.

I dont like to post bad reviews and just let things go. But i never thought i would argue with someone at chipotle. I eat chipotle a lot. This is the stingiest one. I used go to this location all the time cause its on the way home for me. Now I either eat at work or near home. The worker with plug earrings is stubborn. I worked at customer service and I hate being this kind of person but honestly it was the worst experience I have ever have. Usually I just deal with it but both my bowls werent even halfway filled. I drove to the place again and ask if I can get it remade they said no cause the was the portion. I have made online orders several times and this was not the case. I then ask for a refund and they said to do it online. Fair so I try to do a refund. For an hour I waited and nope. Not to mention the employees were honestly super rude. Safe to say yea I am not coming back.

First got there at 8:50 and my order was not ready. (Was supposed to be ready at 8:40). Second, the cashier says they re working on it . Then I see him go begin to make the order. Third, they forgot my side of guac, which by the way is extra charge. Fourth, came home and found a piece of plastic in my bowl. Won t be coming back.

Wish I could make it zero. Especially this location. They were out of a major ingredient (bell pepper/onion side), team didnt think it was worth mentioning it, staying stingy with meat portions (as usual) and when I mentioned it she looks at me as if I am offending. Ideally, they should have offered a replacement when I asked for it. Stay away from this location. One in Yorba Linda is more prepared.

Suggest to not order online from here. When you order online they give you super small portions and the meat sizes arent worth the price. Better to go in and make sure they give you the right portion size. Staff is friendly and line is fast when you do go in.

The staff are always kind, but I regularly receive undersized portions whenever I order here. My bowl I ordered today I requested extra rice through their app, and I had essentially half of a bowl of food when I opened it. Bag was still sealed, so I know it wasnt tampered with. If the prices werent rising all the time I would understand, but for what you pay at these locations I would like to have more than 5 bites.

I had not been to Chipotles for many years. The food tasted a little different this time. I think it was the lack of salt and probably the the fat content which made it tastes really great in the past. I suppose with people being health conscious they have modified what they offer and so it was all right. I would have probably salted it more as it wasnt an exciting flavor.

I love chipotle, just NOT THIS LOCATION! Ive eaten at chipotles all across the country and this by far wins the prize of consistently having the worst customer service. I live near this one, so its an absolute bummer that i have to drive to another city to enjoy a quick easy lunch. This particular location just cant get it right. The employees are rude, unkind, uninterested and seem to prefer their customers leave boiling mad. There are a zillion examples but basically DO NOT waste your time going to this location.

Went here for lunch today and after an afternoon of firehose diarrhea I ve now been vomiting for 2 hours. Exhausted, feeling horrible, everything that s been flying out of my throat has been the remnants of my burrito. Chipotle s got a record for passing along food-borne illnesses and I believe we ve got a case of it here. Clean the kitchen, toss out the chicken, don t let anyone else come down with whatever biblical tribulation I ve been cursed with.

Not to be a karen but with all respect judging someone of their wealth with appearance should never happen. We originally went to the Chipotle in La Habra but they had a sign their gift cards weren t being accepted. So they had sent us here and there was no sign saying the gift cards would not be accepted. We ordered and when about to pay the cashier got an attitude because we were going to use a gift card. Yes, we appear financially stable but with Covid-19 we are barely making ends meet thus the gift card. He then caused a scene, Fine I guess I ll throw out the food then , in a very loud tone causing the restaurant to stare. It was humiliating because we didn t have the cash to pay relying on the gift card . He was in a happy mood prior and it was a very sad experience and assuming people have money. Please post a sign to save other families the embarrassment and work on customer service. He also took awhile with the one drink we were scared he tainted with it. As we left he kept staring us down and dirty looks with his costumers. It isn t fair it was just food we aren t stealing and providing service what is the problem? There was no sign or any announcement of gift cards not being accepted until after the food was prepared.So please be better this is unacceptable.

The chicken and steak tacos are great. I love the chicken the most. They also have great chips and guacamole that you could literally eat as a whole meal. I try to come here about once a month. I love the Brea shopping mall and this Chipotle restaurant is really good.

Im guessing that Chipotle means giant delicious burritos in Spanish. If it doesnt it should Friendly, hard working staff here so I give it 2

Its good. Like most Chipotles. Theyve left me hanging a few times on my fourth hard shell taco, but have always made it right somehow.

Ordered a bowl and was given very stingy servings. The beef had pieces that could not be properly chewed. Update 11/10, ordered chicken and I received reasonable amount of selections. Chicken was good. Up grading to 4 stars.

Customers are nice, the place is in the center of Brea around alot of stores and close to the shopping mall. Their food taste always super delicious but their portions are a little small , but I like it ;)

Tbh, I was kind of rude to the stuff without noticing, but the staff never waivered in their customer service and welcoming environment! Sorry team my bad, you guys are absolutely great! The food was great!!
