Today they only have beef corn tortilla taquitos. No large drink cups ice machine broken. Give this store the support they need all the workers are great

The worst experience ever!!!!!! My husband orders his nachos and guac. We get there and she said there s no guac (but we are charged for it). We ask her to refund us for the guac, she says we have to go through the app since it was an online order through the app. We go to the app and there is not even an option to refund. We tell her we can t get a refund through the app and we are requesting her help and asking for a refund in person, she said she can t help us because we ordered it online through the app. We tried to have her cancel our whole order so we can get a refund for the whole thing instead and still she said she can t help us! When I asked for manager to come talk to us, she said she is there by herself and nobody else is there! What the actual frick! Why did they not take out the guac from their menu if they didn t even have it!!! This is also not the first time this happened! This same exact thing happened to us last time too but they were nice enough last time to refund us in person and so we thought we would give this place another try! But now we have to be the ones fixing the problem for something that was their fault! If I could give this place a minus 10 review, I would because this is just so upsetting and unacceptable! What a waste of time! Now I have to fix this whole mess if I want my money back and still have to find another place for the nachos!

It s been a while since my family and I have been here, but now I understand why this place is always empty. We had such a horrible and embarrassing experience ordering food from this place. When they brought us our party pack, the woman with the black hair was so bothered and rolled her eyes at us because we asked her for trays to eat our food on and then we went to the registered and I guess it bothered her that we asked her for extra napkins because they only put 2 in our box. The women with the blonde highlights was the cashier and she was just as rude. This place was completely empty so it s not like we were bothering them at a busy time. These requests were basic. Overall so horrible we ended up getting a refund. Never coming here again!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been seeing so much ads for this place but never really cared for it because it just looks like regular taquitos. But one day I was downtown and we just decided to try it and we could NOT believe how good it was. We ordered 2 taquitos with shredded beef, flour, everything on top. I though, upgraded my side to the esquite (corn in a cup). Its hands down SO delicious. The service was also fast, they prepare everything right when you order so your taquitos are hot and crispy. I dont have the words, but all I can say is givenit a try. Its a great snack/small meal.

The food I say was B+ quality. The Dipping Sauces and serving of Chips were very small. We ordered two Five Pack Combos, that totaled nearly $50.00. The fountain soda machine was not working. Canned soda was given instead. Therefore, there was No Refills, got screwed there! Way over priced for what you get. Service? There are only Tweens working there, their jokes were more important than making sure customers were taken care of. The inside dinning was so hot, A/C must have been out of order like the fountain machine. I am sorry that I do not recommend this establishment.

Had this place marked for awhile and was finally in the neighborhood and it didnt disappoint. Got a 5 pack of taquitos- potato, chicken, and shredded beef, along with a small guacamole. You can choose either corn or flour, but they only had flour in the ones we chose, which was fine. The taquitos were so tender, inside and out, with the chicken and beef very juicy, and the toppings added a touch of extra flavor. These werent your typical crunchy, snap in half, taquitos, this was some next level stuff. The guacamole was fresh and delicious, a great addition to their amazing chips that came with the meal. We spent around 30$ for the whole shebang. The two of us shared this 5 pack and it was a filling meal, but had to try the churro donut to see if this delicious streak would continue. They sell them single, or 6 or 12, and at first i thought who would need to buy a dozen churro donuts?, but after tasting them I understood why. It came fresh from the oven, warm and soft, and honestly was one of the best churros Ive had, alebit donut shaped. The denseness and soft/crunchy ratio was spot on. But after sharing one of them, I wanted another one for myself. The service was great considering there was only one young lady taking orders and preparing the food(another employee arrived later). The food was prepared timely and delivered hot, and the young lady was helpful and courteous. Would DEFINITELY return here again. highly recommend. Vegetarian options: they have potato and cheese taquito options for non meat eaters Parking: there is a parking garage nearby as well as some individual spots outside the building

I was so excited to try this place after a long time. I finally did. This place is just gross and grossly expensive. We paid $20 for only 5 taquitos, literally 5 single tortilla chips, and a small thing of salsa and a drink. To top it off, one of the taquitos was so burnt that the inside meat came out and they thought we weren t going to notice after flipping it over and drowning it in sauce. Never again! Place is a waste to be Brea.

Service was ok and wait time was bad. Only reason it was slow was because literally only 2 people ran the whole restaurant. This wasnt the fault of the workers but management. We gave this a try last week. Nice place inside and I believe there was outdoor seating too. Not crowded thankfully since theres not a ton of seating inside. The taquitos were good. Especially liked the flavor of the potato ones. Also tried chicken and shredded beef. Tasty, but not something we plan to return to much. Overpriced for what it is. Chips and salsa was really good and rice was a little spicy. Overall good, but just too pricey considering. Parking in the structure right across the street was easy and free so dont be deterred by that.

Been eyeing this place for a few months now, noting their upbeat vibe and atmosphere. There are currently 5 different fillings to have in the taquitos, but they did not have ground beef during my visit. I did the other four. The cheese one, while basic, was definitely good. The potato filled taquito offered a unique taste in my opinion. The chicken one was a little dry, but still eaten with pleasure. The shredded beef was good too, no complaints. All topped with cheese, and I got the sauces on the side. The restaurant is clean and modern, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Family friendly, date friendly, solo lunch or dinner friendly. The staff, top of the line. One young lady was killing it in the kitchen prepping orders left and right. The other woman working was sent by the gods, a true gem to be blessed by. Carlos is the man and I want to give him a huge thanks for giving me the run down of their food and helping me put my first ever order together. These three deserve the best for giving the best.

The restaurant was completely out of several of the main offers on their menu. That was not impressive at all to me. Then the closing time of the restaurant says 10pm on google and 12pm on yelp. Im not sure which is the closing time, but I know well earlier in the night than either of those times, it looked like they were telling certain customers one story about when they would be closing for the night while other customers were just chilling and not being told anything. So, I wouldnt go back to this business again unless I see reviews praising them for being stocked up with the minimum their menu says it offers, plus even more reviews that show what time they actually close their restaurant for every customer, not just seemingly randomly selected ones. They were weird. I was not feeling this place at all.

Review №165

The food here is really good but the Brea location really needs to get its act together with regards to ordering. We phoned ahead to order a couple of five packs and were told we couldnt order over the phone unless we were ordering a party pack (25-50 taquitos). If we wanted to get a takeout order we had to go down to the small, crowded restaurant location in the middle of a pandemic and wait around for upwards of forty minutes. I dont have an issue with waiting. I do have an issue with packing people into a tiny space. Interestingly, we were told we could make a smaller order if we went through Grubhub, a service we do not use, so it is possible to get a smaller order without potentially catching COVID but what a cluster****.

Review №166

This is a great spot and I definitely recommend you give it a try! We ordered two five-piece taquitos and across those, ended up having at least one of each flavor: beef, chicken, cheese, potato, and avocado! We got all of ours with flour tortillas, not corn - I love that they had that option! Its $9.95 for five taquitos, and neither of us finished them all - its a lot of food! The toppings are so rich and delicious, but I will probably ask for light toppings next time, or maybe on the side. The lit sauce was so good, and their guac is as well, which we bought on the side! To drink I got a shirley temple and he got horchata. I love that they have fun options to drink! We waited about 45 minutes for our food because they were low on stock and had to roll each of our taquitos in the back...they offered us a refund if we didnt want to wait, but we werent in a hurry. We drove from Irvine to try this place, so we were willing to wait! They brought us two donuts since we had to wait so long, which was appreciated. Overall, I would say this is a great business, theyre just new and have some kinks to work out. At the end of a Wednesday night, the restaurant was a little dirty and the trash was full, but Im sure once employees get the hang of working there that wont happen anymore! The employees we talked to were very nice, but had just started, so theyll learn and this will be a great restaurant! Well be back for sure.

Delicious fresh taquitos in stacks to share or hoard. Churro donuts are fab too.

Staff was super friendly. That fact that they offer non meat items is a plus for me. They are so good!!! Avocado taquitos and the potato I highly recommend.

Just left the restaurant.. looked at their menu online and thought they would accommodate gluten free because it says online that their corn taquitos were GF. Got there and asked about the meat options and the girl at the register went to ask, came back, asked the guy next to her and he said that the meats were not GF. So unless you wanna eat an avocado taquito you are out of luck.

Waiting for clothing store to open, close to noon, thought why not try it! Glad I did!!! Really great beef taquitos covered with grated cheddar cheese, guacamole, sour cream and their mild sauce.....perfect, just enough spice! Mattie took my order, came around while I was eating to welcome me. Asked what I thought about the food, could she bring me anything! I will be going back!

So disappointing. Food may have been good had you got it right!! Went in last night close to closing. Ordered a 3pc taquito with flour tortilla 2 beef 1 chicken..NO GUAC! Also a 3pc flour tortilla with 1 each chicken, beef, avocado. Our receipt clearly stated the order correctly. We got the order to go. So when we got home we found 1 order had 2 chicken, 1 beef corn tortillas and COVERED in guac. Order 2 had 1 chicken and 2 cheese 1 was flour and other 2 were corn also with guac. Now had you been busy i would maybe understand BIT we were the only ones in there. We wanted to call but couldnt find a phone number anywhere. So needless to say my son didnt eat his because he hates guac and the entire order was completely wrong. Because they are taquitos we rely on you to get it right!! Donuts were good
