Delicious wet burrito from Jalisco’s. I had a half steak half Al pastor for lunch and the mole sauce to top it all off. The horchata was delicious and wasn’t too sweet for me. Great service as well.

Really good meal, albeit expensive I thought. Dinner prices, maybe? The menu has breakfast/lunch/dinner, and my hard shell taco dinner was $17.95. The margarita(s) were really good and advertised with good tequila, $10.89 each, with better tequila available. Solid service, the tacos were delicious (shredded beef), the refried beans were home made, and the chips come with a beans/cheese salsa that's addicting. Gracias, very good!

We had breakfast at Jalisco’s on a Sunday. It was easy to park, and seating was quick. The service was absolutely outstanding! The food on the menu ranged from traditional breakfast to just about anything you might want or have a taste for. I had a scramble w chorizo, spinach, cheese. This also came with refried beans, and rice (my choices).
My wife had the linguisa and eggs.
The food was flavorful and delicious!!
Again, the wait service was excellent. Coffee and water refills kept coming. I loved eating there.
The churros for dessert with vanilla ice cream and caramel chocolate drizzle - go to heaven and don’t pass go 😍

I've been going to Jalisco's for a while, the place is always amazing. The staff is friendly, food is great, music everything. You cant go wrong with this Mexican joint 😊. Great food selection. I would recommend going here for sure

Service is always excellent and friendly. Ambiance is nice. Food is ok for Mexican category...very salty and greasy, but I know that's most restaurants nowadays. Churros were a hit with the group. Will return with groups that want to come.

I phoned in an order for a chorizo breakfast burrito. Very friendly and professional interaction. When I stop by to pick up my order, I was met by friendly staff and after paying for my food, was promptly on my way. The burrito was fresh, hot and delicious. Bonus chips and salsa. Yum!!!

I was there with a friend the service was excellent. Each table has its own environment conducive to a private conversation. The food was fresh, a little pricey, but very good. I'll be going back soon.

We were seated in a rickety booth, next to an unbussed table fairly quickly. We were given menus and we ordered cocktails. A few minutes later, chips and salsa and bean dip arrived. We were pretty hungry. So we enjoyed the chips and dips while we waited for our drinks. We had just about finished the chips and dips when our drinks finally arrived (after we asked another server to check on them). The food was delivered soon afterward. I ordered beef enchiladas. Have you ever had a frozen Mexican dinner? Yeah, it was like that. Not bad, but not really authentic. Nothing to elwrite home about, but I ate the whole thing anyway. My wife ate about half of her burrito. She thought it was okay. Eventually the dirty table next to us was bussed, and anything that was not a dish, glass, silverware or napkin was wiped onto the floor. Several minutes later, a young woman came by and cleaned the mess off the floor. Not very appetizing to witness. Overall, it wasn't the worst meal we've had in Brentwood. I supppse we will visit again.

Have dined here for years. My favorite Brentwood restaurant. The food is consistent, you can always count on what you order. Family owned and lovingly maintained. Friendly service and many familiar faces, including both patrons and wait staff. Couldn't ask for more.

I guess shrinkflation is effecting everything. The burritos used to be bigger. Its fine, there are many other options in the area.

I was very disappointed in the food. I saw the sign for pupusas so we decided to try. They tasted just like and actually look like the frozen Costco ones. The asada in my sope was so disgusting it tasted like they had warmed it up and fried it from two weeks ago. They came to check on me not once , it wasn’t even that busy and I paid $53 dollars for two meals and a sope . I will never go back there again and do not recommend it . I had to ask for everything literally get up and find the server, including my bill just terrible. The best part of the whole meal was the bean dip with the chips.

Best breakfast burritos around. I drive a 40 minute round trip for chorizo breakfast burrito. Nice and clean tightly wrapped burrito. Best price around too.

Le cambian algunos ingredientes a las recetas y eso provoca que no tengan el sabor que deben tener;chiles rellenos no llevan queso Monterrey,el mole está rebajado y sabe a caldo de pollo,sus micheladas solo saben a chile y limón.ofrecen una versión errónea de la comida mexicana a otra personas.

Was taken here because I was told they have menudo all well and while I was tasty, the waiter put on a strange charge that wasn't on the previous bills before. And I only know this because my friend came by 3 times previously that week so if you do come by, be sure to keep an eye on what you're actually paying.

Big problem here. The amount on the signed charge slip has a tip of $4.00. The waiter ignored this tip and pushed 20% ($6.84)tip for himself instead. When I compared my vista bill to the slip they didn't match. I went to visit this restaurant and met with the manager. He seemed to NOT care as if he condone this action. He made up excuses for this action. He offered to give me difference if he decided he wanted to. I said no thanks. He seemed to feel this action was OK for his waiter. Good luck if you ever go there.

The food, in my opinion, wasn't very good. I had enchiladas. It was just meat rolled into a tortilla with some veggies sprinkled on top. No cheese, no enchilada sauce. My wife got fajitas. The meat wasn't grilled like we would normally expect. Rather, the protiens were all mixed together and sautéed in some sauce. My mother in law had tacos. It was meat and lettuce. Nothing tasted traditional to us.

The food is good. . . BUT, menus and service matter. I got one sausage, 1 pancake, and 1 egg. I chose the hashbrowns. Forgot to pick the French toast. When the waitress came back I asked for it, and I was told it didn't come with it. So I then asked to speak to a manager, who also said it didn't come with it, and I would be charged extra. If I order something, I want to get whatever I'm paying for. The menu needs to be changed then, because grammar/ wording matters 👍🏽 and service too!! Whenever I tried pointing at the words on the manager would snatch it slightly.. . . Geeez. Waitress forgot my lemon water too. Oh well. I cook better anyways 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ordered a chile relleno and it was all cheese and batter...I only got a sliver of chile. Their horchata is amazing! Service was ok. No real greeting, waited at the table 10 minutes before we got the menu. Place was EMPTY and we still had to wait.

Salsa and beans that are the two items you have to get right are not very good. Main dish items, burritos, enchiladas, tacos and rellenos are very good. Place needs to be freshened up and service is weak.

I have stopped in for breakfast burritos in the past and they were great. My brother in law wanted to meet for dinner so I figured this would be a safe bet because breakfast was so good. Let me tell you we were not disappointed. So much flavor and decent portions for the price. They even complemented my choice for dinner. They said they hadn't had better Mexican food. Thank you for such a great meal.

Howdy Folks, Yobi here.

The grumpy elderly servers bit DOES have a charm that keeps you feeling like you MIGHT actually get straight up booted out the door,or not so subtly ignored if you are accidentally insensitive.

"Rude" never even crossed my mind. I have situational awareness. I want to survive.

My first wife was Mexican, and a couple of the restaurant elders are women. I am a Marine, and let me assure you, do not mess with any of them when they are grumpy.

Most of the time, their choices of how to 'deal with a pest' will inevitable include strategies you would never actually considered, even remotely.

NOTHING wrong with wait staff having unspoken boundries YOU can FEEL.

Keeps the A-holes, and butt nuggets in line. Food and pricing are average. I mainly enjoy the grumpy dynamic.

As long as the balance doesn't get tipped to far either way, go and enjoy it! You will know in your gut if you have upset the elders...

I ordered 3 bowls of menudo and when I got home I put them in a bowl & threw away the containers. When I tasted the menudo it was salty. I asked the other 2 people what do you think of the menudo?They said it was salty. I tried calling the restaurant and the phone was busy and when it rang no one answered. I called later and told them and they said they didn't have my order. I said I have your receipt they finally found it and said bring the menudo back. I said I called and you didn't answer so I didn't have the containers and it's been 3 hours so I threw it away. They said we were busy, the phones don't work sometimes, and the menudo isn't salty. They couldn't give me my money back. I said ok I'll take it out of the garbage and take it to you and they said no. Before today I hadn't been there in a while because they're food and service seems to be getting worse in the past year or two. I won't be trying their food anymore.

Ordered two menudos to go, server was pleasant but when I got home both menudos were totally different from original recipe, flavor was not there, soup was watery, ingredients had been changed and there was little to none of the hominy they (always cook it with) I called and person answering said they never put hominy in it (false) when confronted she asked the cook (I could hear while on phone) then she boldly said “ oh this time we didn’t put any in) “wow they just decide to alter the menu forget what the customer expects” can’t decide to ever go back and be disappointed again btw couldn’t eat the lousy stuff.

Service was marginal. I can only drink wine. We asked if there was a corkage fee. The waitress came back and said " my manager said you cannot open that bottle here" and walked away. Didn't explain why, didn't even say I'm sorry but it's our policy not to.....etc, etc. I ordered the pork dish and it tasted like they cooked 3 days before and let it get really hard in the refrigerator and then reheated it. Definitely not a "great restaurant that you'd be happy to return to or recommend to friends or family.

Salty chile rellenos and rice. Waitress never checked on us. Forgot items that were asked. And never made eye contact. She Was weird. We had 2 micheladas but did ask for some shrimp on top $15 each! Cost more than the plates! 🤷‍♀️ The pozole was good. Just a bleh experience for me.

Hands down the best Mexican food I've had in a while. Everything on the menu is authentic. I've had the breakfast special with hash browns eggs and french toast. Recommend it all. Carnitas and the Chile Verde are amazing. The service is friendly. If you haven't been here, go, you won't regret it.This place is a gem.
