Wilderness Broiler

It has been over 40 years since I've been to Knotts. Stopping to get a bite to eat and relax turned into regret. It was about $26 for a dried out burger that was pre-cooked and dry, the cheese didn't even melt. The fries were cold and they had NO ketchup to put on my burger and fries. The only good thing about the meal was my coke I added to my meal. The staff was pleasant.

This fast service restaurant has the best fries in Knott's--crinkle cut and fresh! Right now they are serving Hot Dogs and they have several types to choose from. We have liked all of them so far. This summer they are also having a weekly special, which is always good to have something new to try at each visit to Knotts!

We came to the Wilderness Broiler, what I thought was going to be a quick bite while we wait for Santa to come back from feeding his reindeer not I was mistaken. The 2 ladies that were on duty were great and the food was good. I was just taken back by how long it took before getting our food. The foot-long hot dog is enough to feed a 3 and 6 year old and come with a bunch of fries. My wife had the cheeseburger and I had the spicy chicken sandwich. All were cooked well. All in all, we had a good time.

The worst service we experienced our entire day. The food was dry and mediocre. Not worth the money at all. We literally waited a hour and hair for a simple chicken sandwich and disgusting french fries. The icee machine doesn't work here either do don't bother asking for that.

The new Po' boy shrimp sandwich is disappointing. Mostly due to the bread/roll it is served on. It is cold and crumbly as if it had sat on a counter all day. It could be improved by simply adding a little butter and toasting it on the grill. As always, the fries were hot and fresh - the best part of the meal.

Overall an okay place. Burgers and fries type of place. Food is okay, isn't awful, price that you would expect for being in a theme park.
Decent amount of seating nearby, is all outside. Location doesn't usually have a huge line, so on a busy day probably a decent place to go if you aren't feeling too particular about what you eat but don't want to wait too long

Best food in the park, In my opinion. We have tried the food in the whole park and this place always hits the spot. Lots of fries that won't let you down with filling up. Tried the alligator soup that was crazy to try but felt good in a cold rainy day. Chicken sandwiches are warm thick and juicy. Great place to eat, sit and people watch. Enjoy.....

The menu was VERY limited when we were there. But, the line was short, service fast, and the brisket fries were great. Dietary restrictions: GF Bun options are often available but sometimes youre just out of luck. Kid-friendliness: The kids love the food there and the picnic table style dining is more kid friendly than chairs.

Grossly understaffed. Beef brisket sandwich was awful-very little meet, but the one guy doing all food was under a lot of pressure. People waiting a long time for food. NO NAPKINS!

Today David the cook cooked my 2 cheeseburgers burnt. Exactly what I asked for. No bad looks this time. Thank You David. Only suggestion i can say to David is smile more often. Especially when some compliments you... Came here fir a quick bite to eat. When it was my turn to order a young red haired girl took my order. I asked nice can I please get the burger well down? She snapped back there all well done sir. I said sorry thats incorrect. I was here last week Monday and the week before that. And it was not well done! Thats why I ask! She said oh really with attitude Im sorry about that. I was going to let her ruin my day. So I ignored her snootiness and asked for a coke refill in my souvenir cup. She ignored that request and asked any other food order. I said no, coke please. Then right before I got my food the people before me ordered a lot of food. The heavy set mexican lady asked them if they wanted any toppings. But when I picked up my food she didnt ask me if I wanted any toppings WTFAAAAAK is up with the service here today! Ive been coming here for over 30 years. I have never ever been treated like this before. No matter who you are or what youre ordering. Everyone should be treated with the same kindness! If these ladies are ever working this spot again. Im going elsewhere. I dont appreciate being treated disrespectfully.

Older Caucasian lady has no personal or customer service skills. Very plain, never smiles. I order a hamburger for my daughter and they ran out of the lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. I received a plain burger. They wanted me to wait 20 minutes for the toppings. Her burger would have been cold if Id wait. Ridiculous wait for a Knotts restaurant.

The spicy chicken sandwich was surprisingly good. The ciabatta bun, jalapeño peppers and sauce really made it. The chicken is deep fried but gives it a great crunchy effect. Get the sauce on the side as well as extra jalapeños. The fries were cold and not that great. I think coleslaw would be better if they had it. Long wait but I suppose it s because the make the food fresh. All in all I may visit Knott s again just to get another spicy chicken sandwich.

I always have the spicy chicken sandwich it is always so good and fresh. They make it when you order it. I just wish that you could have a side salad or coleslaw with the sandwich instead of all those french fries. But the french fries are always fresh because they make them to order also. They have ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise for your convenience. I have a meal plan which is an Awesome deal.

Great staff ,good eats, excellent service! I would recommend eating here in between hours on Fri.& Sat. By between hours I mean other than normal lunch and dinner hours. Only because on those days the park is usually busier and lines can get lengthy.

Im torn on how to rate this place... On one hand, the Wilderness Broiler offers the freshest, most delicious burgers, hot dogs, and fries in the entire park. The grill chefs are artists with the tastes they create. But on the other hand, even on the slowest of slow days, you can expect to wait 15-35 minutes for the food to be prepared, which is unexpected at a theme park and quite an irritating and unpleasant surprise. Something seriously needs to change with how they process and prepare orders.
