One of the weirdest encounters with a human being ive ever had 4/13/24 Saturday we walk in and order I asked for a plastic spoon the girl at register straight ignores me and throws the plastic spoon on the counter. Clearly this child does not want to be here. When we asked if theres a key to the bathroom they said no, I see nobody come in or out for like 30 mins. I asked the same girl again and she gives me attitude and opens the door. Like what.

Cocohodo holds a special place as one of our familys favorite snack spots. Today, we swung by to pick up a Cocohodo box to gift to a friend. Opting for a small box with 36 pieces for the gift and a smaller bag of 10 pieces for ourselves, we patiently waited about 15 minutes for our warm, freshly cooked Cocohodo. The place was bustling with activity as we waited, and we also noticed they offer a variety of beverages for purchase. Parking: Plenary of parking space Kid-friendliness: Kids love this place for snacking.

I ordered 10 walnuts and gave them cash to pay for it, but the person who seemed to be the owner did not accept it and just did his own thing. So since Im holding on to cash, I just put it on the counter. And instead of giving change directly, I put it on the counter and take it away. Then he placed the walnut snacks I ordered on the opposite counter and told me to take them with me. In front of me, a customer ordered and gave me money, but he didnt take it and didnt even give me change, telling me to put it down and take it. When I gave him a walnut snack, he put it on the other side of the pig and told me to take it. Well, this isnt racist, it just made me feel bad. I just accepted it because I had family, but if I had gone alone, they would have thrown me some walnut snacks. If you dont want to do business, dont come out. I wont go again

The weather suddenly got hot, so I wanted to eat red bean shaved ice, so I ate it today. I tried red bean shaved ice here a few times when I was buying walnut snacks, and it tasted good with a lot of fruit.

The walnut pastry is the their staple. Come here for that and nothing else, you wont be disappointed. Friendly staff and quick service, albeit it was a quiet night when I came. Plenty of parking around in the lot. Lots of other interesting Korean joints in the area as well; afterall, this area has the largest dwelling of koreans outside of Koreatown in downtown LA.

This place used to be packed with people but not anymore! They used to put 1/2 shell of walnut on each cocohodo ball! But now it decreased to 1/4. No wonder people abandoning! Please don t play with food! It s the fastest way to fail the business! Increase the price but not decrease the quality! So disappointed! Used to be everyone s favorite!

There is a separate time when walnut snacks are served. Warm walnut snacks at 8:30 a.m. Warm walnut snacks at 12pm sharp Warm walnut snacks are served at 5:30 p.m. You can also drink oriental medicine tea, Schisandra chinensis tea, jujube tea, ginger tea, Ssanghwa tea, and chrysanthemum tea. Its a nice quiet space. There is outdoor seating and friendly service to keep you occupied. If you spend over $100, you will receive a free Cocohodo tumbler. The bathroom is kept clean so there is no inconvenience. We sell 10 packs of herbal tea as gifts for $30. They also sell macarons. We also sell walnut snacks for souvenirs. Of course, they also sell coffee, which is cheap and smells good.

I never quite know what to say about a place that seems to do its thing well but which I nonetheless dont really like. Usually I just dont review it. However, my wife really likes this place and I have to say that if I liked walnut pastries with red bean filling, this is where Id go. The young staff are quick to smile, and they serve the pastries fresh out of the oven, sometimes so hot you have to wait to eat them. I always have such a positive experience here that I usually try to forget my preference and have a bite anyway. For a moment that warm, sweet smell brings me in every time. Then, alas, I remember Im simply not fond of red bean, and then I let my wife finish the rest. In addition to the little bags we buy, they also wrap the pastries up in really nice gift boxes, so there is that as well.
