1st time to this location. It's really nice. The line moves faster than it looks. The food is great. Ordered the Cuban sandwich 8.7/10, solid sandwich with bold flavor, served hot. Love their mango smoothie, 8.9/10. Parking is tough but patience will get you something quickly. I will be back.

Amazing place for a quick coffee or a long brunch to catch up with friends. There are multiple counters to order from and eating here is a very streamlined process. The Butter Croissant and Pumpkin Matcha latte makes for a great pairing. The menu is hard to read, but it is easy to order most things from the bakery. There are both indoor and outdoor options to sit. The parking lot is big but is full, even on the weekdays.

This Portos is huge and there can be long but quick lines. Make sure to have ample time in your schedule. As usual, staff are helpful and the pastries are good. Drinks specially coffee based are just alright. Order in advance for pick up if you may.

Amazing place with delicious items. We tried several and I loved them all. Can't pick a favorite. Greeter Kat was so helpful with a newbies questions. Manager Alfred took care of us when I wanted to order a cake online to avoid the line. Told us he would take care of us, which he did. Will be back for sure.
Only drawback, no locations in AZ. I think Westgate would be ideal for a location😊👍

If you're going to Disneyland or knotts berry farm stop by here before you go Awesome baked goods I'd be so happy if there was one closer to me this place gets very busy so be prepared for a little bit of a wait but the wait will definitely be worth it the line will definitely move fast the potato balls are great I love the chocolate twists and the cheese croissants those are amazing definitely a must try if you like baked goods they also serve sandwiches I have not yet tried them but heard they are great the service is also top notch

I've been to Porto's a few times now and have been extremely impressed each time. All of the pastries I've had have been both affordable and delicious. This level of quality should be met at all cafes; these pastries feel like they're at European quality!

Even though the lines are long they move fast. The customer service was amazing with the people that took my older. The potatoes balls are good and the turkey potato ball really stands out it s so flavorful the turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes blend so perfectly with the crunch of the outside. The chorizo empanadas was flavorful. The meat pie was good but honestly something I would skip on next time. Ordered a cafecito con leche and it was a decent coffee wish it was stronger.

This isn t a very authentic bakery. Chocolate chip cookies and blueberry muffins aren t exactly Cuban baked goods. It s very similar to what you would find at Starbucks or a hotel. The pastries arent that great and the service process is confusing, inefficient and slow. We waited for 45 mins only for them to tell us they were out of the two things that we went for. The Turkey and gravy potato balls and the napoleon cake. I don t understand why people love this place so much. It s really not that good. I ordered a London fog tea and it was disgusting. As was the spicy peppers and cheese potato ball. The chicken empanadas were ok, I also like the potato ball with beef. It s incredibly over priced. We spent $40 and I was still hungry. I don t recommend Porto s.

Food was good for the most part. The layout is difficult to navigate especially if you have problems standing for long periods of time. Our party had issues with the number of bathrooms available especially the men. For the size of the restaurant and the number of customers they really are lacking in this area.

Ive adored Portos since I was in high school at their original location in Glendale. Their food absolutely is the best and their cake is the best Ive ever had and Ive traveled around a lot. This location is just next level my goodness its so nice. Great location, great outdoor seating. The staff here are so diligent and friendly. The lines are always looking long but dont worry it moves very fast. I wish every place had A game like here can not recommend this place enough!!

Every time is charm. The customer service is excellent from the moment you step in. Never had a bad experience with any of the sweets. Love their cakes and their prices are very reasonable. Just recently tried their Dulce de Leche drink, and it was great. If you are planning on visiting any of their stores on the weekend, expect long lines. Strongly recommend to order online and simply pick up your order.

Review for bakery items only! This portos is huge, bright and beautiful inside. Every portos I ve been to has been crazy busy but staff are always efficient and friendly. Prices are great for what you get. But while I used to love portos and always bring it back for family whenever I d visit, I d say their pastries are good, but not necessarily the best. There are flakier croissants elsewhere. I used to love their chicken empanadas, but I feel over the last 10 years, the filling has gotten a bit skimpier. Same with the spinach cheese croissant- the filling has been less generous lately. But that doesn t stop me from visiting because they re overall still yummy and a great deal. Potato balls & chicken croquettes are best fresh. Cheese rolls & guava cheese rolls are always good. +their Parisian chocolate cake is delish.

With plenty of staff to assist, the lines move quickly, and some tables are inside and out on the patio. Most visitors opt for take-out. My favorite items at Portos are sandwiches, various croissants, spinach feta empanadas, desserts, meat pie, and cold-brew coffee. The Ube Matcha Latte is a nice treat once in a while when its available. There are many options for coffee drinks and beverages. The custom and signature cakes and tarts are also great for any occasion. Portos ordering process is well-organized, with two lines for food and drinks. The cakes have a dedicated line to the left side; if youre only ordering drinks, theres a line to the right. A staff member usually guides you at the door, ensuring a smooth experience. The consistency and quality of the food keep us coming back. Ive had a few rare unfortunate experiences with missed items and wrong orders, which are usually resolved with no issues. The worst part of coming to this location is the parking. It can be jam-packed, but sometimes, finding a spot In the adjacent lot is accessible. However, a valet is offered next door at the Pirates parking lot, usually during peak times and holidays.

I don t know if it s my problem I got bloated when I drank Matcha House Beichao before, and I also felt bloated when I drank matcha and strawberry this time... Empanadas - 2024.08 The most famous baking + coffee shop here! It s famous because it s delicious and not expensive! Everyone walks out with a big bag of pastries The crowds here have not diminished and you basically have to queue up. Before entering the store, a staff member will tell you where to queue. When queuing up, you can scan the QR code to see the menu. If you want a drink, you can go directly to the coffee bar to order. We came here for their new product Matcha Ube - Matcha Ube $5.89: The sweetness cannot be adjusted but the ice cubes can be adjusted. We ordered less ice (for fear that it would affect the taste if it melts). The matcha is pure and delicious! Ube is so sweet hahaha. If I had known better, I wouldn t have ordered less ice. Remember to stir evenly Otherwise, you will be like me. At first I thought the sweetness was great, but later I found out that I just didn t stir it:) - Guava and cheese strudel: All kinds of pastries are super cheap at $1-$2 This is their signature dessert! One start doesnt mean the place is bad. They have great cakes and stuff. But there is something extremely important that needs attention!!! The meat they use is extremely disgusting every single time we order something with ground beef we have to get that chewy disgusting white stuff that should be cleaned and thrown away before cooking meat. This time it was big and disgusting! I feel nauseous and sick after i found it in my mouth I have swallowed a few of it before because it is impossible to chew it. It is like rubber and super disgusting. They need to use a cleaner meat!!!! Ruining the meat balls and meat pies with this disgusting trashy meat ewww I cant I feel like throwing up all that I swallowed before heres a picture of one of them. I dont even know what that trash is. It made me feel so sick Btw I eat meat fat but this isnt one. Meat fat isnt like rubber. If you go on the weekend, be prepared to wait. However, this is one of my favorite spots in SoCal. The hot food is incredible and I love their pastries. Really can t go wrong with anything here, but some standouts would be the pollo Plato, medianoche sandwhich, pork tamale and the chocolate twist. The cinnamon roll is new and it s incredible.

I come every week to place an order for my family. But last weekend I was unable to come in person, so I placed an order online. They issued me a partial refund when I arrived to pick up my order because they didnt have all the almond croissants ordered online. The Portos rep told me to wait 3-5 business days. Well, its the next weekend, and 5 business days have passed and no refund. I came to the store today to place my weekly order and asked about the refund. A really nice store employee helped me named Jo. I hope I spelled that correctly. Her supervisor, Wendy, came over to help and was very annoyed that I was asking about a refund. She immediately said to call a number. She didnt try to help and be understanding of the situation. She immediately walked away without providing additional information. A little robotic.. I didnt really understand where to get the number from and why I had to call a separate location to get a refund. Also, Wendy said a refund can take up to 15 days... This information is different from what I was originally told about for 3-5 days. So, Jo took it upon herself to show me where to call them and was super happy to help me with the situation. She understood, and I felt heard. Promote Jo and demote Wendy. Not a great representation of Portos by Wendy.

Holy cow! This place blew my mind. Everything we ate, pastries, desserts, and breakfast sandwiches, was incredible. It s a huge building, and it s incredibly popular, so there was a bit of a wait. I m shocked at how quickly and efficiently they moved through the crowd though. Less than $2 for an almond croissant that blew my mind? Yes please. Also, the cashier gave my kids free cookies. We didn t ask, she just did it. I love that they went the extra mile. Plus, they prepare the desserts right where we can watch. It definitely made us want the dessert more, and the kids loved learning how it s made. I cannot put into words how awesome this place was. Kid-friendliness: They were great to my kids. Huge location, they have a few small stores within the store, worth checking out for small bites.

I feel dissatisfied... I called a day before for my order and when I arrived I forgot to give the email to my husband and they wouldnt let him in and it turned out that the order was not there... I think they should improve the system so that Dont let this happen and put people in better shape to help in front....I know that not all of us are sincere and that many times we lie to avoid standing in line.....but that was not my case.....they delayed my day when it wasnt my fault

Ive been to Portos a few times now and have been extremely impressed each time. All of the pastries Ive had have been both affordable and delicious. This level of quality should be met at all cafes; these pastries feel like theyre at European quality!

Love portos, and I always try to grab stuff while im in the area of one. Please explain how I have literally never been given the correct order in the 4 years Ive been going. Literally, there has never been a point where I dont get given the wrong item or wrong amount of items. I know theyre trying their best, and theyre super sweet and apologetic, but cmon guys... like the food is great, just triple check everything before you leave(boxes and receipt) Vegetarian options: All pastries, cakes and cookies easier to listen the non-vegetarian options

Always fast service considering how packed these places get. We had a situation today with our order not coming out and our server Camila was super empathic and trying to resolve the issue. We never run into these situations overall so we know things happen but I super appreciate the wonderful customer service given how busy it was. They even gave us an extra orange juice for waiting. Really sweet gesture - so Porto s will always get my business wherever they open :) - also popular picks there are cheese rolls and guava strudels. Try the chicken tortas and chicken milanesa as well!

Long line, but it moved quickly. Nice service and had my order done and ready in less than 5 minutes.
