Sunrise Cafe

We travelled here and looked for brunch then found it. Very local style.
The turkey sandwich was ordinary. It’s tasted was what you could imagine. But the sandwich toasted well. It served with French fries, potato salad, green salad, fried zucchini, or soup.
As for the scrambler, it was a good opener for a morning because it contained good protein, vegetables, and carbohydrates. If not interested in brown rice, could choose happy carbohydrates—home fries which was really good. The scrambler was also served with toast/ biscuits with gravy. That made us really full. While the biscuit was not my cup of tea especially the gravy.
The others, the omelette with home fries, was very tasty. Next time I would order it without any doubt.
It was a good restaurant with friendly service.

I’d highly recommend this place! Our waitress Corrine was really sweet and attentive. The eggs benedict and home fries were amazing, and the vegan home fries my bf ordered were hearty and delicious.

Quaint little cafe. Went a little after noon. Only a few people in there. Our table ordered the Biscuit and Gravy with home fries and the Waffle Combo, both with two eggs over easy and two sausage links each. The gravy for the biscuit want great and we lived to the side. Everything else tasted good.

We got vegan scramble with soyrizo! We very much appreciate the service, and the accommodations that meet our needs. We sat outside, and our waitress warned us that since she could not see us too well from inside she might not attend our needs as frequently. We did not need much attention, we had everything we needed, and the service was fine.

I loved this place, I ordered an omelet with cheddar cheese, bacon and avocado, I ordered fruit in the same fries and added toasted bread, of course with coffee. The staff is very friendly, they served me quickly, there were people but the service is very good, I recommend it. I spent 23 dollars for 1 person

Took my mom out to breakfast for Mother s Day, we were a party of 5. Yes the place was packed BUT we had great, timely and friendly service. You pay for what you get. Great homestyle cooking!!! By the time we got there and put our name in, to the time we left, we were there for maybe an hour and a half. Highly recommended and will go back again! Loved supporting this tiny little restaurant. Parking: This is in the corner of a strip mall so parking is shared with other stores. We got lucky with a spot right in front of the restaurant. That came in handy because my mom doesn t walk far without assistance. Kid-friendliness: I could tell that it is kid friendly because on the register they have all kind of childrens coloring pages.

The service was friendly and excellent. Coffee was great & tasty. The pork patties covered in gravy were way under-cooked. Almost raw. My wife had avocado toast which was bland & the tomatoes were almost paper thin & looked old. I personally hate to give a bad review. Hope this leads to improvement.

I dont know if I ordered the wrong thing, but nothing about the $17 breakfast was special at all. It was overpriced & quite bland. I didnt hate it. I just like flavourful food! Im disappointed I gave this place a chance. Dietary restrictions: Provided fruit instead of bread due to celiac. Which is really great!

Very friendly spot! The waitress made sure to check in often on us and the food and its presentation does not disappoint! While not a mainstream spot like Ihop or Denny s, you ll feel just about if not more welcomed there! Kid-friendliness: While the cafe is rather more simple-like and the scenery isnt stimulating to the child s mind, I can assure the food will make up for it as with the waitress not leaving them out of the conversation!

I have eaten breakfast twice at this hole in the wall café. The food is fresh, cooked just right, and delicious. The waitress is friendly and courteous, the cooks also. The place is nice and clean, prices are reasonable. There is a restroom and plenty of parking.

Never never order pancakes here. Literal rubber couldnt even cut. Smelled like raw flour and baking soda. Biscuits gravy were good. Server lovely. I really have never had such horrible pancakes for 15.00 . i will say the place is clean but very musty mold smell.

A hidden gem. When I first came to this strip mall, I was skeptical with the location. I was blown away by the friendly staff and how amazing the food tastes. Many of the customers are regulars and I can see why .good old country cooking. Prices are great. I wish I lived in the area which would be a regular visit for our family. Here are my fav Chilaquiles -one of the better ones I ve tasted besides my homemade ones at home The pancakes oh wow! The texture of it is so good! Portuguese sausage -a must add on to your breakfast. Corn-beef hash -tasty but portions are too big for me .

I went there at about 7:20am right after they opened. It was a Saturday morning and only one couple in there eating. So they werent busy at all yet only one waiter working. Not the point. However, for my dad and I, for two pancake meals with a cup of milk and upgrade to blueberry pancakes it cost $60! I guess my main complaint is that they charge $5 just to throw some blueberries in the pancakes mix. Dennys only charges $3, but still. The point is that between that upcharge for each of us and $4 for each cup of milk, and $4 for coffee, it was $60. Just seems like an outrageous price to pay for a breakfast that was a lower quality then IHOP.

Friendly service and fast! Breakfast was at our table in what seemed like just a few minutes. The food was delicious, and my wife loved the homemade strawberry jam for her toast. Loved the music and the puzzle, too! We were hoping for a place that was priced below the big breakfast places like IHOP, Black Bear, or Broken Yolk so that we could go regularly, but the prices were up there in the $15-$16 range. I dont blame them, though. Theyre trying to make a living. Its just hard to make it a weekly thing at $80-$90 for four people. Kid-friendliness: The waitress was super friendly and gave my daughter a puzzle to take home!

Food was amazing! Had the egg and soy chorizo burritos w/ home style potatoes ( sorry it was so good I didnt stop to take a picture). Potatoes were very delicious. Not a fan of onions so was very thrilled to see there was only green onions added! Gave it just enough flavor. At fist the plate might look like it wont fill you up but trust me its enough food for a very hungry person. My boyfriend had the steak and eggs w/ potatoes and toast. Which he stated was very tender and juicy. Much better than the 20$ dish that he had when we went to Palms spring. This place is a must try!

After thinking for several minutes about where to calm this bitch of morning hunger, I decided on this place and the truth is that I recommend it. The service from waitresses, busboys and cooks is very good and they do their best to make the visit pleasant. But going into detail about what really matters the food is Boom!!!! Extraordinarily delicious the fresh and aromatic coffee. It is a very good place and I will definitely return and continue recommending it.

My wonderful short trip this past weekend: I was visiting from Minnesota. My host took me here for breakfast twice. I love the food presentation on omelettes with very unique names on the breakfast menu. Love them! It is nothing fancy but more cozy and very welcoming attentive staff. Today was my first visit to Sunrise Cafe! If you want a good breakfast, this is the place to go! The customer service is excellent! Got the breakfast burrito. It was pretty good, but didnt have enough bacon. Biggest reason for my 2 Star review is we had to wait over an HOUR for our food. There were hardly any people in the restaurant. The waitress said it was because they had a lot of online orders, which is BS to me. They shouldnt give priority to anyone other than who ordered first. I wont be returning.

Stumbled on this hidden gem.. Food was delish, staff was great. The portions a huge here for a reasonable price. I ordered the Hobo omelette which had bell pepper, onions, mushrooms, sausage, ham and cheese and hash browns on the side. Which also came with a side of biscuits and gravy.. My boyfriend ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich. He said it had great flavor and it was huge and u have a choice of soup or French fries. All together spent about $30 including our refills on coffee. Definitely will come back. Like I said food was great..

Three stars is really being nice I was debating for half of this review to put two stars. Yea I get if you get busy but I could barely get a drink order in without her starting to walk away she was so distracted or out of it I have no clue I think she wasnt trained to be a waitress I couldnt get my food order on without her walking away before I was done because I paused for a second. The eggs Benedict was horrid there was so much spinach and it wasnt even made correctly its supposed to be English muffin Canadian bacon spinach eggs Hollandaise sauce and you get to CHOOSE whether you want spinach or Canadian bacon like the customer can just say whether or not they want something taken off of their order not have to choose between the ingredients on their order there was probably like more spinach than there was English muffin the English muffin was soggy and not toasted everything was very bland there was again a bunch of spinach and I love spinach but I dont know what was wrong with it it did not taste good the only reason I even came to this restaurant is because my normal one wasnt even available and I review many restaurants many of them I barely even wanted to walk into this one my friend came in with me oh they got their order right oh and also I had a hard time with the waitress right but with every other customer she was perfectly fine with them but for some reason she had a problem with me because she wanted to get away from that table so quick I shouldnt have even left a tip but I only do because thats how I was raised my silverware tasted like dishwashers I was trying to eat and everything was so bland there was barely enough hollandaise sauce to cover the eggs and it was crunchy on the top layer and chunky never coming back honestly the bacon also tasted like everything else that was cooked on the grill. Also again I understand it takes a bit Ive worked in a restaurant too but that doesnt mean you ignore your customers needs to hop around each table people understand that it takes a bit so use the understanding to actually be good at service

Food is good, a bit pricey for the area. Gravy on biscuits is bland,customer service is nice. Overall we would ho back.

Generous portions of flavorful food served by friendly and efficient staff always bring me back! Try the Popeye Omelet, you wont be disappointed!
