An unbeatable price and great value!

We came for the Happy Hour deal after seeing it blow up on social media and thought it was definitely worth it. The items on the Happy Hour menu were pretty decent considering my friends and I only eat the brisket and bulgogi.

What makes this place stand out from all the other KBBQ restaurants is definitely their unlimited all-you-can-eat banchan bar. They quite literally have every Korean side dish you can think of and at very high quality. My friends found the banchan dishes to actually be a lot better than the meat.

Our waiter and servers were nice and friendly. We enjoyed our experience, but would probably only come back for the banchan bar. They're located in a plaza so there's plenty of parking.

Highly recommend giving them a try if you're interested! :)

The selection is pretty good. The restaurant has plenty of selection at the center station, from sauces, ban chan, and soups. Keep an eye out on their happy hour windows. Prices will vary depending on the time of the day and day of the week.

This is my first time here. Through a simple search, I realized that the AYCE price here is very competitive. Honestly, from the quality and selection of ingredients provided, to the ready-to-eat deli and side dishes sections, to the fruits and ice cream, everything is worth the money you pay. Plus, our server AJ is helpful and attentive. If you are nearby or time allowed, it is worth coming here to enjoy KBBQ. There is no reason not to recommend KBBQ at this price!

This is the place to go to get the most value for your buck KBBQ. MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVES IT AND WILL COME BACK FOR MORE. A Party of 6 will add a service charge but they definitely deserve it with how hard the servers work. Disappointed in the hot food was cold on the salad bar and the quality of the meat wasnt very good it was quantity not quality! The worst was the finger steak that you couldnt even eat We cooked it and left it The server was new and he didnt know much of anything he told us that that happened to be the favorite steak that everybody ordered it, If so I dont know how anybody ate it it was full of veining and it was extremely tough I couldnt even cut it with scissors thats how hard the steak was it was the worst one, The roast beef was flavorless, its too bad they they dont have like vegetables and all that that comes with a meal that you have to pay extra for it even the corn you have to pay extra for and the desserts ice milk not anything great,

I love this gem of a restaurant. I found it by accident, but its definitely worth more than the price. Most kbbqs cost an arm and a leg for unlimited sides and good quality meat. Here, everyone is attentive and nice. Theres a full salad bar with sides and soups. For $22 per person for everything you get, its definitely worth everything you get and more. Cant go anywhere else for kbbq

Food is good. Ambience is good but what really sets this place apart is the variety of ban-chan you have and you can get it whenever you want. And the plates they provide are big enough to mix and match whatever meat and sides you want.

This place was okay. I hadnt been to a Korean BBQ joint in years and my sister wanted to go here for her bday. In the past however, I had tried pretty much all of the kbbq places in Orange county and San Diego county. The service was friendly. They change your grill often and are attentive to that. it was lively and there was a big wait of 17 parties that i noticed as we were leaving. Getting there at 430pm was just right though. We barely waited at all. One thing i didnt like was that we were only allowed to order and eat for 90 minutes. Maybe this is the norm these days for places like these but i remember in the past, a 3 hour limit was pretty common. There was lots of parking iirc. On to the important part - the food. I bet the biggest draw people have for this place is that it almost feels like a buffet inside. You can grab a plate and get as much of whatever side dish you enjoy most. I know many people love the kbbq side dishes and Im sure that they love it if you love them too. After all, the more you load up on carbs and side dishes, the less meat youll be able to eat. The meats/protein selection was not the greatest. It could use some more choices. Out of all the meats that we ordered, i probably enjoyed maybe one of them, if even. All the meat, even the pre-marinated steak... was bland and flavorless. Sure you can get your own dipping sauces etc... but you shouldnt NEED them in order to give your bland meat any flavor at all. But true to the buffet style and feel, aside from the typical side dishes, there were a couple things that were fairly tasty. My favorite meat, beef tongue, was not an option here unless you pay for it a la carte. I think they said it was $17 for some beef tongue. F that lol. Did not buy. The fluffy egg thing that many places offer (usually one per person) was also extra. Did not buy either. I noticed they had rib fingers or whatever its called that many places seemed to offer. Im not a fan of thin cuts of meat like brisket so I ordered the rib pieces. After cooking them, I instantly noticed that they have tendons or something in them that were so though that I could not chew through the meat. I thought maybe that was just that one piece I had but every single piece was the same. After chewing them for a bit, I actually ended up spitting out almost all of them. The squid tasted okay. Although it was marinated, it didnt taste that special. I dont ever usually order pork at these places or the chicken so i cant say anything about those. Overall, I think its safe for me to say that I enjoyed the side dishes more than the meat, but thats not really saying much. if youre looking for lots of different cuts of meat that are flavorful with or without your own sauce, I think its better if you look elsewhere. After years of not eating at Korean barbecue places, I would have expected better quality/flavored meat from a newer joint. Feeling rushed to order and eat a bunch of bland ordinary meat is not really my style, so needless to say, I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a good KBBQ joint. Even the generic chain Gen BBQ was better than this. I probably wont ever come back here again. Vegetarian options: Why would you ever come to a Korean barbecue place if youre a vegetarian? Parking: Its in a big shopping plaza so theres plenty of parking

My church members, family members, neighbors, other relatives. I highly recommend this restaurant to eat all you can eat meat! Also you have to do is join a waiting list once you get into the restaurant and its very popular restaurant as well. They dont let people in once your booked and leaves right away after they dont call you waiting list number is announced. Just wait patiently please and than you so much! Wheelchair accessibility: Since theres only a few wheelchair accessibility parking spots, I really recommend everyone grab handicap accessibility parking spot asap. My husband and I recently tried this restaurant for the first time. While the buffet sides and sauces were enjoyable, the service was merely average. We were disappointed with the quality and flavor of the meats; the brisket had an off taste, and even the bulgogi was lacking in flavor, making it hard to eat. The pork belly was the best option we had, which isnt a great indicator. If youre looking for high-quality kbbq with flavorful meats, this place would not meet your expectations it certainly didn t meet ours.

The place is decent, not much food options for an all you can eat, the staff is not very friendly, and super hot inside. The good thing is that the food is stocked pretty often but to be so stingy with the yogurt machine is crazy. Better to have us eat yogurt than the meat right? One of the best kbbq experiences Ive had in California. Impeccable quality of meat and banchan. Unique and unorthodox banchan buffet in the center works very well, no need to rely on waiters and waitresses for banchan as in traditional kbbq restaurants. Sauce section is great, really enjoyed the soup selection as well. Service was great, server was very friendly. Do watch for the happy hour prices. Overall a great experience.

tl;dr if you are in a large party and you have to come to this restaurant, dont be the first ones to arrive. The owner lacks customer service skills and cant make up his mind about how to run his establishment. I was part of a very large group coming from a funeral that reserved a section of the restaurant. I was one of the first to arrive. The manager (whom I later found out was the owner) took the meal ticket provided by the funeral organizers from each person but we were not allowed to go in unless we formed a group of five. So the first five of us who arrived went in and were seated. When the next five came in, I asked the server if we could switch seats among ourselves. With the servers permission, we did. The owner suddenly appeared and became angry because we switched seats. We were still five per the table the server sat us at, still in the section reserved for our group. We have not even ordered yet. When I explained that the server gave us permission to switch seats, the owner instructed the server not to set our tables. I felt incredibly wronged and frustrated. I decided to leave and asked the owner for my meal ticket back because I didnt want the organizers of the funeral to have to pay for a meal I wasnt served. The owner refused and left. The situation felt even more ridiculous, since, as more of our party showed up, the owner greatly loosened up on both his apparent rules of 5 per table, no more no less and no switching seats among members of the same party. My group and I left feeling incredibly mistreated. I dont even know what the food tasted like. Simply put: would not recommend, especially for large groups

Best buffet place in terms of Food and service. Staff are very friendly and most helpful. Specially Olivia, she taught us how to cook different meat and treated us with great care. Ive never been treated so gently in any all-you-can-eat place. Her service and the food were great beyond imagination!! I had dinner at TOP BBQ GRILL at the recommendation of a close friend. There were a lot of people waiting in line, so we waited about 30 minutes, but the food was well worth the wait. The staff are all so friendly and the service is fast, so I want to come back again. I think it was nice that since the restaurant was a buffet, there were a variety of side dishes to choose from. I hate to be leaving such a poor review for what was once one of our favorite KBBQ establishments for the value of its offerings, but the childish behavior and disrespect we received from management/ownership here is inexcusable. We ve never had a dining experience ruined quite like this. We used to recommend this location and bring friends here but will be refraining from doing so moving forward. We were informed of last call at 10:30pm, when we kindly informed our server that we were done with ordering for the night, as we were still grilling our intestine (which takes a while to cook). By 10:45pm, an older male which we assume was the owner or manager on duty came over and aggressively gestured with his fingers that they close at 11pm. We had already paid and were finishing up our meat. We could see him in the background just pacing back and forth while keeping his eye on us. By 11pm we were already packing up and on our way out, being mindful of the closing time. Right at 11pm, he repeatedly prompted us that he has 3 people waiting to go home. There were at least 10 other staff members in the restaurant. And that s fine, they can go home AT 11pm WHEN YOU CLOSE. He kept hovering over us and had the audacity to ask us why we were upset and we told him because he was being rude. His ego must have been hurt because he brought out one of his kitchen staff to intimidate us into leaving even quicker, while we were already on our way out. As we were exiting, this man violently slams the gate behind us before we even make it to the front door. My foot had just barely crossed the gate. I can t imagine how the staff here is treated if this is how customers are treated by him. I m not at all bothered because we ll be issuing a chargeback for the poor behavior and blatant disrespect. This man will single handedly be responsible for the downfall of this establishment. I hope this gets passed along to him, and others who are considering patronizing this restaurant will reconsider. KBBQ spots are a dime a dozen in this area and there are many offering better service.

The meat is pretty good for only $25 but service was not very good, the server was cold and unfriendly and we felt very rushed, like they wanted to get rid of us. The orders were pretty small (like they literally brought a single piece like 3 inches by 2 inches or 3 pieces of rib meat as an order for 4 people) and it has a shorter than average time limit so I feel like the value is limited, there are not many AYCE for $25 anymore but there are other much better places for $30 still so we probably wont be back.

Their side dishes, sauces, and ban chans are usually on point when they are available. Sadly, there was always some item missing or it was slow to replenish when I ate here, e.g. rice paper or salads. Their meat portions per order comes in a very small plate which can be frustrating when the servers are superbusy. Their cuts of various meats are tasty and fresh which is a redeeming factor. Finally, the guests cook their own food and the added gratuity for a large party seems counterintuitive. All that being said, theres plenty of parking and the price for their AYCE Kbbq is competitive for what they offer.

Came here to try their special weekday happy hour at 5:00 P.M. as a group of two and were seated with no wait. The salad bar here is huge, with everything from your classic potato salad, kimchi, japchae, bean sprouts, and cucumber salad - to additional banchan that is not as common like fried fish cakes, lo mein, fried rice, and fried dumplings. It was extremely busy. Keep in mind you can only order four meats at a time. Some of the meats we had were extremely high quality, such as the beef belly, beef bulgogi, pork belly, and brisket. Others, such as the ox intestine (which was completely unpalatable) and the spicy beef bulgogi (which came too tender) were not as worth it. We also had the chance to try their curry pork belly which was okay. Our table unfortunately had a grill that continued to turn off, and caused us to be rushed near the end by a change of servers due to the ninety minute time limit, even though we had only really begun our second round. Due to the high volume it was hard to get a hold of staff but I do believe the restaurant was doing the best they could. This is a great location for banchan and price, but I wouldn t say this is a favorite. You are essentially getting what you pay for at this all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue spot. I think overall it went over my expectations. Definitely getting your moneys worth of experience. Most of the side dishes you get your own which is great if there are specific types of side dishes you get a lot with kbbq, and options are really great. Each of the meat orders comes smaller compared to what you usually get in all you can eat kbbq, which I see as a good thing as you can control more portions and less food waste. The food quality is what youd expect, its not gonna blow your mind but still really good for the price you are paying. Only complaint is that I wish there was more seating provided for wait, we went on Sunday 5pm for two people and waited in car for an hour.

Eh.. a little biased on the Wait times.. apparently if you speak to the man at the podium in Korean, he hooks it up. I didnt speak to him in Korean so I waited the full hour. Everything else is similar to other kbbq. Liked they have a self service bar for everything but the meat. Kids liked the ice cream and pineapple desert

Great food, plenty of appetizers and meat options to choose from. The restaurant appears clean, the staff are always present to help with anything you might need such as more meat or drinks. The only issue is that they get very busy and sometimes the wait time can be more than 30 minutes but it just shows how people recognize the quality here.

I went tonight wanting to try this location, and I came from orange County to try this place. Thats said 4-11pm. Sadly, they turned us a way because last call is at 10pm, and it say nothing on this app if they cant advertise this information. The man who was talking to me was rude and needed to understand that theres a way to communicate with a guest at their better way to communicate. I dont think Ill be coming here. And I dont appreciate his attitude at all he talked to me like I was stupid, and I was only trying to communicate with him with him.

Its hard to find AYCE for $22 anymore. Quality sides served buffet style. Cucumber kimchi and spicy beef soup were my favorite. Service was fast.

I am never coming back here again. You only have 1 hour to request meat from the server. Past that hour and you are denied anymore service. Asian female server came across as annoyed whenever I called her over. $100 for 3 adults and one 4 year old child. Quite a stupid business model. Also the meat has no flavor. The Korean BBQ at brookhurst and Chapman is WAY better than this one. I recommend you dont come here. Avoid this place with all your money.

Terrible service, if you are a Korean, you may have a better service and with a smile. Foods are not much selection. No sushi bars, no sea food.

I go there often on Saturdays and Sundays. I highly recommend it. The price and meat service are perfect. The squid is delicious and the beef rib meat cannot be compared to other places. The food here is well prepared and the price is very reasonable. The Big Ribbon Meat Lady works there, but the meat is really good and delicious, so I trust it and eat it more out of pride. Friendly staff. I think I will be a regular.

Ive been coming here for years. Came here long before they got really popular. I love their changes and the variety of food they offer at their self-served bar area now. Their changes made them even more popular which in my opinion is a good thing! They have a really good price for AYCE Korean BBQ(but doesnt come with much meat selections) Staff can be super busy during dinner times and may not offered the best services during those times but if you get their attention theyll be happy to help. Come here if you want to enjoy budget friendly AYCE KBBQs!

The food is nice but it feels really wasteful with all the plastic and paper waste needed to eat here. I understand the mom and pop vibes but it could use a little more attention to atmosphere. Ultimately, though, its KBBQ and its a good time with good company. Highly recommend this for bigger groups with a not so long wait times.

Very delicious food! Came in for my birthday and we had a great time. Thankfully I made a reservation hours ahead of time. When we arrived at around 6pm on a Saturday, it was crazy packed! The servers were nice, good vibes, good food. Music kept repeating the same songs frequently but its Christmas season so we hear the same thing everyone . Thank you for a wonderful time!

The food here is pretty great, everything we ordered came out faster than expected. The noodle and side dish bar was always stacked. Flavor of sides were really good too. Staff were very friendly and much more responsive and fast than any other ayce kbbq place Ive ever been to.

We havent been to this place in years. In fact, the last time we were here, it was called Pinehill. Im so glad we came. The overall rating is more like 4.7 stars. For the price theyre charging, they offer a lot. Their self-serve banchan section is pretty big as well as good. The meat quality is excellent as well. Also, a lot of choices. The service was top notch. Servers were constantly coming by to check if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend Top BBQ Grill. You should definitely come here if youre in the area. Im sure you wont be disappointed.

This is a great place for Korean bbq, what I like most about this restaurant is that they allow you to go get your own side dishes which means you can get as much as you want for each side. They also have other things besides the Korean side dishes so overall very very good place to eat.

Ive been coming here for awhile now, so unfortunately just like everything else the prices have gone up since then, but not quite like other establishments. When I first came here it was $19.99 or $34.99 (IIRC) and that was that. Well, they still have a $19.99 Happy Hour menu, but only for certain times of the day. I think this is a great idea because they still offer that price point when they could just discontinue it if they wanted to. Really commendable tbh! Anyway, if you cant make it during happy hour, they have a $22.99 menu and a $24.99 menu both of which STILL offer excellent value. My wife and I usually stick to their $20 or $23 menu, but sometimes go for the $25 because it has some meats on there that we enjoy. Personally, I enjoy the beef and pork belly and my wife like pork jowl. We both especially like the spicy marinated pork and chicken! In addition, they also offer a wide variety of options at their buffet! Lots of vegetables, sides, soups, rice, dessert, etc. Service has always been excellent here as well. As I mentioned earlier, Ive been coming here for awhile, on a somewhat regular basis and Top has never failed me. Excellent service, food, AND value. Parking: PLENTY of parking!

Its our first time going in Top bbq grill. We just saw Mr. Rockstar eats from Instagram, we were just around the neighborhood so we did check it out and had lunch. The food is great, so tasty and savory. Service is great, they are warm and welcoming. I have no problem and didnt encounter anything bad, they served us real good. We did like the atmosphere. We did like the vibe, servers speak their native language and well spoken in English. Also, they play Korean songs thats why we felt we were in Korea. Overall. We do recommend it. Honestly, it is cheaper compare to were we go to. Its best bang to your buck. We like it. I hope you guys like it! Enjoy.

If you dont want to wait, go somewhere else, Ill happily take your place in line. This place stays busy for a reason! You get sat down, they bring the food to your table almost immediately, you cook, converse and chow down. If your looking for light convo w/ your waiter? This is NOT the place. Here you cook, eat & leave. Great quality for the price. Even the 7 yr old loves it. Will absolutely be back

Recently tried this place back in April and loved it ever since! This is the only place we come to for Korean Bbq. The service is pretty fast as far as seating, getting meats to table, etc. Love that they have a variety of side options and its buffet style which is the best part. The meat is pretty tasty! My only complaint is that I wish it was a little cleaner but its decent. Definitely recommend.
