Traditional Korean Cuisine straight from South Korea! Many delicious side dishes , variety of soups from beef tail to spicy hang over soups to fish and Hot stone pot braised beef! Even intestines ! Big portion sizes for big parties. Reservations available .
Many drink choices from imported Korea beer to everyone favorite , Blue Label!
Very authentic Korean restaurant!!
We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, seafood onion pancake and beef soup. The spicy braised short ribs is so flavorful, it comes with radish and rice cake. The beef soup reminds you in Korea, no MSG! And the seafood onion pancake is huge, good to share. Their banchan also changes everyday!
The service is friendly and many old diners and family in the restaurant- that’s how you know it’s a legit place! There’s dinner rush so come early
Overall if you are looking for authentic Korean food this is the place!

Hit with a sudden urge for spicy pork stew (gamjatang), I decided to try out a new restaurant in Orange County. There was ample parking and plenty of seating available. Despite the quiet day, the waitresses were friendly and attentive, making the atmosphere even more welcoming.
The gamjatang itself was delicious, but lacked the extra kick I usually get from my favorite spot in Ktown. It seemed to be missing a touch of hot & flavor of something something... Tasted too much like Kimchi soup. However, the portion size was generous, and the accompanying banchan side dishes, white rice, and hot tea were all excellent. The price was also very reasonable, making it a great meal overall. They say they're most famous for their spicy steamed short ribs.. that'll be my next taste test.

Stopped in based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews and we weren’t disappointed! The environment was typical of many Korean restaurants, not only here, but like what you’d find in Seoul. The clientele was virtually all Korean patrons, so that seemed like another good sign.
The selection of banchan was good and included some atypical choices. The japchae was really good and looked very appetizing! The baby potatoes in soy glaze were delicious and the kimchi was really good too. We weren’t fans of the bindaedduk, but I’ve never really been a fan. What I missed was some sort of bean sprout side dish.
We ordered the housemade steamed mandu (dumplings) and though boring visually, were tasty with chewy and substantial wrapping. For entrees we ordered the bibimbap, yukgejang (spicy beef stew), and the bulgogi and bean paste soup combo. The bibimbap was colorful and full of fresh veggies. The spicy beef stew was savory and smoky and had a nice balance of spiciness and beef flavor.
The bulgogi was pretty standard but seemed like it was quality meat. The bean paste soup was probably the least impressive as it seemed basic and not very memorable compared to the other dishes.
This was another solid traditional Korean food destination and while I don’t know that I’d go too far out of my way to eat here again, I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to stop in if close by!

Great authentic Korean food!
Also, HUGE portion on our Agu-Jim. We could not finish between 2 people.
All of their banchan was tidy and fresh, and most importantly, delicious. They are not shy with spices and taste - full flavor on every dish - and that's a good thing.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for a casual Korean dining experience.

Quality and service excellent!!!
This is a Large combo that includes: 3 kind of intestines, kimchi soup and one bottle of soju (but we requested soda instead and the server gladly did for us). And we also order Cold Noodle (soooo good that you don't need to drink soda).
We were 4 adults and 3 kids.
As you know when you have kids, it is really difficult to choose a Restaurant.
They really appreciate your business and I and my family will definitely come back.
I feel like this restaurant uses less msg for sure, I love their kimchi!!!!

It was a very unpleasant time due to the unfriendliness of all the employees, including the owner woman. He showed an overly friendly expression to regular customers, but was rude to unfamiliar customers. Cold eyes? Youre cold to almost all of your customers, so why do you do that when youre running a business? .

This is a review I am leaving after visiting once, twice, three times, four times, five times and six times. The food is of poor quality compared to the price. Still, its close, so I visit often to eat, but I always feel bad. I really hope that the owner of this restaurant and the people who work there will read this post. This is something I always feel every time I go to work, but they have a blunt expression and tone of voice that doesnt want to work, and when I order something, they just pass by and bring it to me without answering... I paid for it with my own money and went for a nice dinner, but I always leave in a bad mood. (Only the server who had a short haircut was friendly and treated me well^^ I am always grateful. Because of this person, I put up with it every time and just passed by.) However, after this 6th visit, I dont want to come back to this house again. The person who appeared to be the owner was very upset that no matter how busy the restaurant was, he would drag his high slippers and just wander around taking care of the mens table.

The first time I went, the food wasnt that good either. And every time I went, no matter how long I waited at the front desk, the employees didnt ask questions or even look at me. I think it is a very unfriendly restaurant. This is a restaurant I never want to go to again.

This place discriminate people who cant fully speak Korean. Food portion is tiny and servers are unprofessional. They yell at customers and show attitude towards customers if you order smaller than the others. I dont understand how this place did not go out of business yet.

Only welcome the customers who can speak Korean. Of course, the food is too salty and not fresh at all.

A Korean restaurant I visited while on a business trip. In short, it is a steamy restaurant. Maybe its because the raw materials are good. I think it tastes better than Korea. This restaurant has a large parking lot and quite spacious seats. A variety of simple meals, stews, and stews are available on the menu. Personally, Spicy braised ribs and black cod stew are good~~ People around me are ordering tripe hotpot. Prices have risen so much that it seems like they have risen even more, especially in LA. Its a bit burdensome, but I think its a restaurant you should visit when you want a taste of home. I have to go again~~

Lets face it. Most restaurants food have fallen off since the pandemic, but not this place. Most Korean spots have gotten bad. This place is great for lunch and dinner. If you like beef they have the cap part to the ribeye. Its a bit pricey though. For the price it sucks that they dont have charcoal. Waste of a good piece of meat. But they have all sort of other things. Korean hotpot, bibim bab, and many other things.

Not exactly welcoming to non-Korean customers. The food was pretty good but they need to work on how they treat non-Korean customers. First, the hostess did not want to seat us until we looked over the menu on the wall. All the while, Korean customers were arriving and shown immediately to their tables. Second, unlike every other table, as the only non-Korean customers we werent given water until after we had ordered (I guess it would have been too much work in the event that we decided not to order...?). I understand that the clientele is primarily Korean but they should expect some non-Korean customers as well and treat them the same. ...

$20 for 4 pieces of short rib. Lol. Menu said $12 for 6 dumplings. Over priced but ok. Then I get the bill and she wanted to charge $18 for the same 6 dumplings. I called them out on it and they said prices went up. Bill was $40. Could have had ayce at mr bbq for less than that. Service is bad if you re not Korean. Had high hopes. Very disappointed. Definitely won t return.

Usually, Korean restaurants in Orange County focus too much on the main menu and dont really have anything to eat with the side dishes, but at Daom, the side dishes are neat, delicious, and you can feel the sincerity. Great value for money! no see. This is the best Korean restaurant in Orange County that you can trust and eat. Highly recommended!@

Pretty decent Korean food- kinda feels like meals your mom used to cook for you. Good variety of banchans which all taste good. The only downside is...this place is usually packed with post-golf large groups composed of middle aged men and they can get a little loud after a few bottles of soju. I recommend their aguchim- spicy fish with a lot of bean sprouts!

We had seafood stone pot, grilled eel (unagi), and the medium sized gobchang combo. I saw a table next to ours order some beef ribs that looked sooo appeziting. Will definitely come again.
