KoKo Chicken & BBQ

This is personally my favorite KFC (Korean fried chicken) place. Very crisp and light, and not salty like some other places. It has a great variety of beer food and spicy soup, and they all taste so good.
The women’s bathroom doesn’t lock completely so my friend and I had respectively had people walk in on us. I hope they fixed it. We told the server about it.

Super quick seating, small but spacious enough in the inside. The wait for the food is a little longer than usual, but they even have signs telling you that the food takes a little while. The wait is definitely worth it though! The chicken is so fresh and crunch and perfect. I really recommend trying Koko Chicken if you haven’t. The wings are perfection!

My friend has been here a few times and she loves the chicken, so it was my turn to try this fried chicken spot! I tried the whole fried chicken (half original and half sweet n sour, JR wings and garlic parmesan wings. I really enjoyed the garlic parmesan wings cause they were crispy, crunchy, flavorful and moist, but my favorite was the JR wings. They aren’t as battered as the other wings and come plain in flavor. They have a variety of dipping sauces to choose from including: hot sauce, original, mustard, sweet n sour and soy— but I recommend getting the rose tteokbokki and dipping it in there. The tteokbokki sauce was creamy with rice cakes and hot dogs.
The corn cheese was cheesy and buttery and absolutely delicious. The kimchi pancake is thin and not super crispy. The shrimp fried rice was okay but nothing too special. In terms of size, it’s more of a personal bowl with a few pieces of shrimp. The fries were crispy and topped with cheese, onion, and small bacon pieces that makes for a perfect shareable plate.

They dont just serve chicken but other Korean pub dishes including bulgogi, soups, rice cakes and much more. With the chicken, we were provided with complimentary radishes and salad. The atmosphere provides for a perfect place to meet up with friends to grab a drink and catch up. The service is friendly and quick.

Sooo delicious! First time visiting this Korean Fried Chicken and their chicken was so tasty!You can tell that their chickens are not "over-fried". Their free refill pickled radish and korean style salad were such a delicious combo:)

I ordered the 10 pc chicken original

Being disappointed with a lot of hype from a lot of restaurants, I didn't expect much.

Well, let me tell you this, I should have ordered more! It is way better than KFC, Jollibee, and Pioneer Chicken for sure!

I love the vibe as well, I'll just dine in instead of to-go next time I visit.

Terrible service from employees. First of all why say you close at 2 if you are just going to end up closing at 1. Also when I tried calling, this girl ended up giving me so much attitude on the phone I just ended up ending it. I’ve been here before and the other have treated me well, but this one girl had no reason to give me attitude when I was just trying to order. I’m literally paying for the food and to-going it. How are you going to be that rude. How do you run a business with employees that treat customers terribly.

My standard for Korean fried chicken is prettyyy up there, but this one from Koko Chicken really takes the cake.

Two green flags for me, #1 (one) they change out their oil daily and #2 they use fresh chicken only, never frozen.

Their half and half original and soy chicken is the perfect combination of crispy and saucy, and goes down so well with the Supreme fries and Corn cheese. And just how cute are these sausages from the Rose dukpokki??

But I’m a wings girly at heart, and their Parmesan wings are an absolute BUSS.

Excellent Korean fried chicken at reasonable prices. Always busy here but never a wait. We also love the corn cheese, which is about as apt a name for a dish as there ever has been. Our favorite wing flavors are the soy and the sweet and sour. You can only order by the dozen so be prepared for leftovers if you order more than one flavor.

It was Christmas day weekend and had a party at a friend's and needed some food for kids. The only Korean chicken place answering our call was this place, so we ordered by phone and came back later to pick up our order. We ordered 20 pc. soy sauce chicken wings and 1 original fried chicken. Kids loved them and all was gone in 20 min.

Chicken is great, both with the sauce or just fried. Paid over $100 for takeout of 3 chickens. Service was horrible. I asked for 6 more plastic forks and the guy didn't give them right away and finally reluctantly agreed. He slowly counted the forks 1 by 1, and acted as if this was a huge favor for me. I asked if they were expensive, to which he said next time I should leave a tip. For 6 plastic cheap forks... it was takeout so why do I even need to tip, and to demand it when I get a few more forks?!... Told family we should never buy from here again.

I always get the Korean soy chicken wings to go, which are always a hit w/me, my family & at any small gathering. It’s quite pricey, but worth it. It’s always cooked to order, crispy and tasty! I just wish they had home delivery service (i.e. Uber Eats, Door Dash, Postmates or Grub Hub). I haven’t eaten inside the restaurant to make a comment about the service. the atmosphere is fairly basic/ok, they are open late too which is a plus. I tried to pre-pay for a to-go order over the phone for my daughter to pick up, but for security reasons, they won’t allow it, which is understandable I guess.

This comment is for Stacy. Overall I love to eat at Kokos, because their food is amazing, but having Stacy as our server, made our experience even better. Stacy was such a sweetheart, she always was so nice, polite and with a smile. Coming to kokos is always a place I look forward to eating, but now I have more of a reason to come, knowing there are people like stacy giving great customer service. Chicken is great and I’ve been going here for over 7 years. I ordered wings over the phone and they gave me whole chickens. When I asked for a partial refund or just the price of the wings they gave me attitude and denied my request. I believe the miscommunication is due to the fact that the servers do not speak fluent English. To the owner of this establishment please seek out new competent staff or reprimand those who give attitude to long time customers.

Amazing KFC. Korean Fried Chicken!

They have one of the freshest fried chicken around. Their oil is always clean that makes for the clean crispy chicken taste. Service is good and the entire staff were very friendly. Other Korean dishes are just as good, they are mostly pub food menus. Meaning you need to pair them up with some soju and beer. 😂 Speaking of beer they have fresh draft beer on tap.

They have good dishes for any picky eater of all ages. Rarely a veto when coming here.

nice late night establishment with pretty great food. Dukbokki carbonara was pretty awesome - I know it's easy to hit the so called traditional flavors but PLEASE try the carbonara. We got the sauced chicken, 1/2 each of sweet & sour and the hot. Pretty great chicken.
Generally great, especially for a place open late. Just remember like all KFC establishments, the chicken takes a while.

Idk if it is the right choice to cut down the drumstick to some parts. People would look at it as suspicious to exclude the one of the most important part of the chicken to be excluded from the product.

If I could give negative star ratings I definitely would. I went there with my family and everything was bad experience overall. The food was bad but edible. The food wasn't even the problem. The main problem were the servers (all of them that worked at the time). First of all, they talked in a very rudely manner. I asked one of the girl server what kind of draft beers they had, because we didn't have the menu for the drinks. That server didn't even say a word and just literally turned around in such a sassy way and got us the drink menu. Whenever we tried to order they were just plain rude. Second, was because of tipping our check came out to be $80 and we paid with a card. We don't tip with a card because the taxes get taken out, so we always pay tip with cash. We tipped them $10 (CASH (my husband said only to pay them $5, but I at least wanted to tip them 10%)) despite the horrible customer service from the servers. We got in the car and were about to leave, but this girl server came out to the parking lot waiting for us. This girl had the AUDACITY to tell us we didn't tip them with a card and there was no cash at the table and asked us if there was something wrong. I told her we did leave a tip with cash on the table, why didn't you check first before coming to us and have the audacity to tell us we didn't tip. I also told her even if we didn't tip is that something to come out to the parking lot waiting for us, and asking us why we didn't tip? She then say well you guys ate $80 worth of food so. Like the AUDACITY this girl had. We didn't even had to tip because the service was horrible. Never ever coming here again.

오늘 가족끼리 왔다가 너무 황당하네요
직원들은 너무 불친절하고 얼굴은 찡거리고 있고 먹는 동안도 기분이 별로 였는데 계산하고 팁은 캐시로 놔두고 왔는데 갑자기 차에 오더니 팁을 안줫다고 달라고하네요.
황당해서 테이블에 찾아봣냐고 물어봣더니 죄송하다네요 .
그리고 월래 팁을 안주면 이렇게 와서 달라고 하냐고 말했더니 그런다고하네요.
이런 치킨집 다시는 가고 싶겠어요?

Chicken is great! Girl taking to go order was extremely rude. I placed in tell phone order. When I got there I gave her my tel ph number. She said there was no order and then she had the audacity to say that I gave her wrong tell phone number. I know my tel phone number! Stop being a rude person and pls get a job somewhere else. To the owner of the restaurant. Please hire staff that want to work not entitled little processes.

The best time to go is around mid afternoon right before it gets really busy. Food is bomb, drinks are fair price. Always go for the Supreme fries instead of rice when you eat your chicken. Don't get me wrong rice is always good but going with their Supreme fries will definitely fill you up. I barely touched my rice and I am a rice lover!

I've been coming to this spot since it was just a whole in the wall. I have to tell you it's probably been 9 years and they show no sign of slowing down. The Korean Fried Chicken is amazing and there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. On this trip it was the braised pork trotter. ( Jokbal) in Korean. Super good and tasty!!! Highly recommended to venture into the menu and try everything they have.

The chicken here is great. This place is kind of out of the way but it seems like it's very popular among Korean fried chicken fans. However, the shopping area it's in is a little dodgy, so be aware of your surroundings at night.

Ordered 24 pieces of soy wings and more. Their chicken didn’t even have right enough sauce to compare how it was before. I felt like they tried to save sauce lol because they barely taste like soy sauce. Really?? Koko used to be my favorite but i won’t say that anymore. Really disspointed how they made it this time.

캘리포니아에서 먹은 간장치킨 중 가장 한국에서 먹던맛과 비슷한 맛을 내는 치킨이에요!! 약간 쥬이시함이 부족한가 싶어도 달콤짭짤해서 간은 충분하고 치킨무도 아낌없이 줘서 좋구요~ 살도 튼실하고 가격도 아깝지 않을정도의 양이라 한마리로 평균 식사량 세명이 충분해요
