I went out to this establishment to take my family out for dinner. They told me that it was a 45min to an hour wait time and took down our information. We waiting patiently for 1hr and 20min by the host stand and were never called. It s wasn t until we asked how much longer we had to wait that they realized that that they didn t have us on their waiting list. They didn t bother to check why we were waiting while people who were barely coming in were seated right away. This was a very unpleasant experience. If you decide to dine here, please make sure they have your name on the list. Even if you get the confirmation text that you were added, make sure that it appears on their end because they won t make sure you are even if you re patiently waiting right in-front of them.

Very good food. Lots of BBQ options and some non-BBQ fare as well. Good cocktails and a decent beer selection. The garlic rolls that are served with the meal are a great starter. This visit we ordered beef ribs, pork baby back ribs, and an Asian chicken salad. Both the beef and pork ribs were tender and delicious with a nice smoke flavor and good sauce. The Asian chicken salad was very satisfying and flavorful as well, we were worried that ordering a salad at a BBQ place might be a misstep but we we very pleasantly surprised. For dessert, we had the peach crumble which was served warm with a vanilla bean ice cream...it rounded out the meal perfectly. The service was excellent...prompt and attentive...and our server had such a welcoming personality. We visited on a Friday night during peak dining hours so the place was busy, but we never felt forgotten or neglected. Parking in the area can take a little patience but its worth it. A great dining experience. Parking: Parking can take patience during peak dining hours.

Ordered takeout while at a hotel in Burbank to enjoy while watching the World Series. Order was severely incorrect and missing half the food. I called and asked for the correct items to be sent over to fix things; impossible! they told me. Since that call Ive spent over an hour on the phone trying to calmly deal with Sidney, Johnny, and Larry (managers) and over two weeks later I have still not received the promised refund. I called to follow up again and according to Larry not one of those three managers have done anything in two weeks to get my refund to me. My last conversations with Sidney and Larry both again included being told, We cannot issue you a refund. Its impossible! Its completely out of our hands. These guys need to quit hiding behind the word impossible, own up to their mistakes and FIX things. HORRIBLE experience overall after years of regularly patronizing this place, bringing many guests, and its other locations. Will be calling corporate next week if things are still not resolved.

Sadly I would not recommend this location or any cuts of meat. Ordered 2 different cuts of meat, both were dried out, looked old and stale in addition to not being sliced as the picture showed. Pick up/take out area was very slowed with only one person at times that would inside for long periods of time, in addition to no organization of who they were helping. Parking: Very small lot

Their bread.... yumminess... the only thing was their famous onion LOAF. Well, it didnt come as a LOAF.. just a massive plate of fried onions... and their mac and cheese were a little off. The pasta was a little hard and the cheese was THICK

I had never tried this place so....we did now! The interior is what you would expect from such a restaurant. Its a very casual place, with clean and simple decor. The menu is not too big (big menus=not fresh food) and the food is what you would look for at a typical BBQ and grill spot. I had the Tri-tip and loaded baked potato, the mini-sliders, the BBQ chicken, regular baked potato, and the Mac n Cheese. The part that shines the most are the meat dishes, the sides are a bit so-so, with the Macncheese tasting very American-cheese-slice-forward. The sliders were pretty darn good and so eas my Tri-tip, maybe it arrived a. It more than medium, but ok. Overall its a great place for the family and casual meals, the prices are pretty good too. Kid-friendliness: Its kid friendly, but its not Chuck e cheese (that was for the parents)

This is my 3rd time at this Wood Ranch. This time our server was OFF THE HOOK! Wish I would have gotten his name. We came here on a Saturday around 12:30 with a party of 7. We ordered their fried onions (thought it would come in a LOAF, but this time the onions came out all fried just on a plate) 3 full slabs of pork ribs, mac & cheese, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, fries, and their asian chicken salad. Everything was really good EXCEPT the mac & cheese. The cheese was SOOO THICK and the noodles more on the harder al dente side. The server AND the people that were running the food were very attentive and fast. We had 2 breads left over so we asked the server for a doggie bag for the breads, and he brought over an extra 4 breads in a container to add to our 2 left over bread! For a full slab of ribs with a side for $30 is really good! Parking: There is a free public parking right behind the restaurant

First, I want to say the chef is amazing because the food tasted bomb! however, the service was horrible! This is the second time was not happy with services. It took 20 mins to order drinks then another 30 minutes to order our meals. It wasnt even our waiter who finally ended up taking the order. Then waited, what feels like forever for the food and he never asked if we needed anything during the meal. I finally asked for butter however waited so long and I was starving I just ended up eating my potato without any butter. Finally, the butter arrived and I just asked for the check which took forever. Please do better !!!!

The hostess was very pleasant and welcoming and we had our table after a short wait. Julia greeted us with a smile and was incredibly friendly. It was a nice way to start our 10 year anniversary celebration. She got our drinks and brought the most amazing looking rolls. Then quickly took them away because we told her about our keto lifestyle. It was a sad moment because the rolls are amazing but I am glad that she took them away fast and with a smile. Our orders came out quick, correct and she made sure to check on us even bringing us one last refill for the road. All in all it was a great experience so thank you Wood Ranch but more importantly that you Julia for the great service. Ps I have to say that my steak was a perfect rare and I am also thankful for that. Dietary restrictions: We are keto and our server was very obliging

Wood Ranch is a fantastic destination for barbecue lovers, and my recent visit certainly didnt disappoint. I opted for the BBQ combo featuring chicken and baby back ribs, and both were cooked to perfection. The smoky flavors and tender meat made each bite incredibly satisfying. Starting with a fresh salad and warm, crusty bread only heightened the experience, setting a delicious tone for the meal. Seating at the bar provided a great vantage point to enjoy the lively atmosphere. The bartender was not only friendly but also attentive, ensuring my drink was always filled. It s these small touches that make a dining experience feel special, and I appreciated the personalized service while enjoying my meal. Overall, I highly recommend Wood Ranch to anyone looking for delicious barbecue in a welcoming setting. The combination of expertly cooked food and attentive service makes it a must-visit. Whether you re a barbecue aficionado or just in the mood for a satisfying meal, Wood Ranch has something to offer everyone.

Wood Ranch has long been a staple for my BBQ craving, but my recent visit exceeded all expectations, thanks to not only the mouthwatering food but also the extraordinary level of customer service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by David, the host, whose warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for the entire evening. David went above and beyond to ensure that our party felt comfortable, accommodated, and ready to enjoy what would be a fantastic meal. The food at Wood Ranch is nothing short of spectacular. If you re a fan of BBQ, you simply cannot miss their brisket. Its cooked to perfection tender, flavorful, and with just the right amount of smokiness. Every bite was a delight, melting in your mouth and leaving you craving more. Paired with their creamy, rich macaroni and cheese, it s a combination that is pure comfort food heaven. The macaroni and cheese, with its perfectly cooked pasta and velvety cheese sauce, could easily stand on its own as a star dish, but when paired with the brisket, it s a match made in culinary paradise. The excellence didn t stop with the food. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the menu, offering great recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The entire staff worked seamlessly to ensure that our drinks were always topped off, our needs were promptly met, and that we felt like valued guests from start to finish. In a world where customer service can often feel impersonal, Wood Ranch, with David leading the charge, demonstrates that it is possible to provide a truly exceptional dining experience. The combination of fantastic food and top-tier service makes Wood Ranch a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable meal. I can t wait to return and indulge in their delicious offerings again. Highly recommended! Furthermore! This is not a chain! I met the bosses of Wood Ranch and wow! I am so glad they are so involved with customer satisfaction. Unbelievable and amazing all around!

It was my first time coming to this restaurant, and I was very disappointed. First of all, there was a very small amount of choices on the menu on one side and on the other side it was completely alcohol. Secondly once we ordered our food, it took almost an hour to get it to the table and it would come in spurts not altogether. Different witches came to bring different different foods and one of the waitresses when we asked her if he could get ketchup, she said I ll see if I can remember that. Our waitress was not that experience and when we received our bill, it was $259 that included a $35 tip that was supposed to be given to the waitress which was not in my opinion worth the $35 because she was not attentive we had to ask her whenever we needed a regill. Then, I woke up in the middle of the night with a huge stomachache and I only got a very greasy hamburger with french fries with peels . Never again will I come to this restaurant and I can honestly tell you the only nice person in there was the hostess that greeted us at the door

I get the same salad, once a week: full sized Natalies salad with grilled portabella mushroom and, I kid you not, its slightly different every time. One time, I got the lunch size portion-not the full size. Another time, I waited an additionally 10 minutes for my order, and when the server gave it to me, it was for the wrong person, and my order was sitting on the counter behind her. Once, I didnt get garlic rolls (I know its complimentary-so Im not mad about that) And today, the mushroom was not sliced up. Not mad, but open to the adventure, because its a really good salad and Im certain that Ill order it again every time Im in the area. Follow-up (08/15/24) I got my same salad again, and guess what.... NO CUCUMBERS I still love you, Wood Ranch. #saladroulette

Just a Touch pricey for what youre getting on your plate, but for being a chain barbecue place, this sauce is boss. I think its no secret, or maybe it is, that their barbecue sauce is a good mix of Sweet Baby Rays (less kick & heat) and Kettlemans. I came in here on a busy Friday night. The vibe felt great, packed restaurant with mostly families and their kids. The bar area was mostly single guys in their 50s to 60s. No single ladies here, unfortunately, if you were expecting a singles bar. Lol. No no, by comparison, the ladies that were in here were paired up on dates. To change the subject, their bread was really good! Its got that fresh baked quality, with a nice garlic and parsley oil smothered all around. For dinner, I ordered the brisket and tri-tip. The brisket is fall off the bone tender, very melt in your mouth delectable... almost too soft. The tri-tip was also very tender. Both were drowned in barbecue sauce, so I never really got a taste of what the meat was like with just spices and herbs on it. Please specify that when ordering, if you want sauce on the side. Otherwise youll have the same experience I did, and never get a true sense of what the meat itself tasted like. I want to give this place five stars. I really do. But I feel like the $33 or so that I spent for a two item combo is just ridiculous when you look at the portion size. To the management here, either lower the price, or just give me more MEAT. I mean each piece of tri-tip and brisket was barely half to three quarters the size of like a small grocery russet potato. Seriously? The skin on fries were good, just on the brink of being soggy though. They were crisp, but something to do with maybe not being cooked at a high enough temperature to make them not bogged down with oil inside? I did get a lot of peanut coleslaw though. They definitely packed that sucker in there really good into a leaf of red cabbage. No skimping on the cabbage. But when you look at the big picture, I came in here for the barbecue, MEAT, not for the foliage. Parking is fairly easy in the structure on the other side of the street, depending on what time of day you park, specific day of the week, Etc Oh, one other note about the bar I feel needs to be said. This is a straight up American Standard bar. Coors, Budweiser, you get the idea. Their liquor and liqueur section is kind of skimpy. Lots of wine varieties though. A $#!t ton of wine selection. What Im trying to get at is even though this is a chain barbecue restaurant, it would be nice if they spruced up the bar a bit with some variety. You know maybe take a leap, and carry some of the Italian Aperitivo so you can make a black manhattan, or a paper airplane. Hopefully upper level management takes notice across the entire chain, and makes some changes to the bar & prices (or at least portion sizes) accordingly. For the price to quantity of food value, and the lack of variety at the bar, come on five stars! Im rooting for you. Ill make an unannounced visit sometime during the summer. Lets see if things change.

I love to come here for lunch or dinner. The salads are so big and the free rolls are delish. The meat platters are enough for 2.

I must say this place is one of our favorites. The food is always good, I particularly like their Brisket. But above all the staff is always really great! It has always been a pleasure eating here. Food

1st, Michael the server had a fab attitude so thank you. BUT the patio is filthy, cobwebs, bugs could fall into your food in a second. I ordered food & a bottle of wine. No cocktail to prepare. People around me were being served but I never got my wine. Bye now.

It was all really good. We got seated in a booth. The waitress gave us the option to hear her spiel about the drink menu, so we were able to skip that. The food was great. I had the Carolina Pulled Pork sw. It was too much for me to eat it all, but I got the rest takeaway and ate it later. The atmosphere was dark like a good BBQ place. Vegetarian options: My friend had the veggie burger and she ate it all and said it was good. It had black beans in it, maybe a little crumbly but still yummy.

The food is very good. Ive had the trip tip sandwich and the Buckeye burger (on separate occasions). Both were excellent. I had the peanut coleslaw as a side, it was good just not my taste. It has whole peanuts mixed in. Not sure what I was expecting but not that for some reason. If possible make a reservation, there can be a wait if you dont. Plenty of adjacent parking. They also offer catering. Parking: There are two adjacent lots, one behind the restaurant and the other across the street Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available

Came here because I had been craving BBQ and it was my birthday! I had actually come here with my family back in the summer for Fathers day and remembered that the food was pretty good, so I was pretty excited! We came around 2-3 pm. Service was great; I love how our server was very courteous and was attentive to refilling our beverages without having to be flagged down. As for the food, first of all, their complementary garlic rolls are amazing! We ordered 3 entrees to split between two of us. We got the baby back ribs, the beef ribs, as well as the brisket. All of the meats were pretty good and has the same BBQ sauce so its hard to say which one was the best. It just depends on what kind of texture you like! My reasoning for subtracting 1 star is that it is a bit pricey and each entree only comes with one side now. Moreover, the sides were not that great. We had the BBQ beans which tasted like standard canned ones lol, the mashed potatoes which were somehow dry?, and the mac n cheese which was OK if youre in the mood for that gooey velveeta type of style. Overall, the meat is pretty good, but without good sides, it makes it a little harder for me to enjoy.

Parking was easy and very comfortable Walked in as a single diner. Was welcomed with a great attitude and a big smile. Everything is nice and clean from the restrooms to the table. I really enjoyed all of the atmosphere. Service was great and with a smile and good energy. I was told that the place is famous for their tri-tip. However, the mane cors Tri-tip was overcooked. Was ordered medium and got it dead (well done). I didnt have time to wait for a new one to be cooked, so I had no other choice than to enjoy my baked potato side order and cauliflower appetizer. For dessert, I was recommended the butter cake and it was good. Overall, 8.5 The nice waitress took off the dessert off of my bill because of the overcooked meat Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access with a wheelchair

My husband was really excited to see that Burbank had Wood Ranch restaurant. I was underwhelmed with their BBQ. It was really busy, so we sat at the bar. I got the create your own dish. I chose pulled pork and brisket. My side was BBQ baked beans, which turned out to be the only thing I liked. The brisket was dry and the pulled pork es more like pulled fat. Both were bland. I only got a teeny tiny cup of BBQ sauce, which still didnt help the meat much. My husband got steak, he said it was good. Maybe I shouldve gotten steak? The couple next to us were drunk and rude. The bar tender returned my husbands credit card to them by mistake. I saw his card in the hands of the drunk man and said something to the bar tender. I tried to make a joke and said if their bill was less expensive well pay for that one and they can pay for ours. All i got was a hard stare from the drunk couple. We never got the bread rolls that everyone else got, so I asked as we were leaving and the hostess got me some to take home. This was the best part of the time we were there.

I recently went back to Wood Ranch and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Wow! Everybody was so delicious! My wife and I tried the bbq combo. She got brisket and baby back ribs. I tried the brisket and tri tip. It was all tender and delicious. Our top choice was the trip tip, second the brisket and third the baby back ribs but the ribs were amazing too! Great service and perfect ambiance.
