Corner Cottage has recently undergone a change in management, resulting in notable enhancements that merit recognition. One significant improvement is the introduction of labels on the burritos, which has alleviated the previous challenge of identifying ownership. This simple yet effective solution demonstrates a keen understanding of customer needs and enhances the overall dining experience.
In addition to this improvement, the establishment continues to excel in its culinary offerings. The breakfast burritos, burgers, sandwiches, fries, and other delectable items are consistently prepared to a high standard, with particular emphasis on flavor and quality. The signature chopped salsa, renowned for its exceptional taste, remains a standout feature of the menu, contributing to the overall satisfaction of patrons.
During my recent visit, I sampled the sausage and bacon combination as well as the steak and bacon burrito with extra salsa. The innovative combination of meats is a testament to the culinary creativity at Corner Cottage, and I encourage all patrons to explore these options. It is imperative to acknowledge and commend the team for their unwavering commitment to providing the finest breakfast burritos available. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a superior dining experience.

One of the best breakfast burrito by far, without being overwhelming with ingredients.
Egg, potato, cheese, your choice of meat.
But all the flavors come together with the salsa, so make sure to ask for the salsa in the burrito.
Place could use some renovation. I know the winds blew out the sign, but overall still could get some TLC.
but food is great.

Corner Cottage is often heralded as one of the best breakfast burritos in Los Angeles. I finally had a chance to try it out and it did not disappoint.
Food is served in a quaint, no-frills corner spot. Service was efficient. What I appreciated most was the ability to customize your burrito - from easy to crispy potatoes, eggs and cheese you can create your perfect burrito. The salsa is spicy and delicious. The price is affordable. A solid breakfast burrito in the Valley.

CASH ONLY 😡
This spot has some great things going for it. Opening up at 6 AM is super convenient, especially when you need breakfast before heading to work. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience pleasant every time.
That said, it’s 2025 (almost), and they still don’t take card payments—cash only. Honestly, who even carries cash these days? It’s frustrating and feels like a major oversight in today’s world.
I’ve stopped by a few times wanting to grab something quick, but since cards aren’t an option, I had to leave empty-handed. It’s hard to believe a business owner wouldn’t see how this limits their customer base.
This place has a lot of potential, but until they catch up with modern payment methods, it’s not as convenient as it could be. If you go, make sure you have cash on hand—just in case.

This used to be my go to breakfast burrito spot all through my school years. I just recently ate here after about 15 to 20 years and although the flavor is there it just wasn't the sane burrito. It was a lot smaller than they used to be and they got my order wrong. I will definitely give it another try but I did notice that it was different management working then back in the day. The salsa is absolutely fire and what brings me back.

I used to come here over 30 years ago as a kid for their breakfast burritos and salsa, and it's just as good as I remember! The burritos are small but dense, but the salsa is the real star. I buy the 8oz side so I can use an unreasonable amount, which is my right as a US American.

Salsa is still the same, I'm glad. I will still go since the change has been good. I just hope the new owners can add the credit/debit card feature.

So..long long time customer former Burbank resident. Moved to Vegas. Eat here when I come to town. I want to hate on not having old ownership, because we all hate change. But the burrito was smaller..( I blame food costs not owner) and believe it or not the burritos were better. The salsa as good but not chopped as fine).
So while I want to hate on change..the change was better

Cheap. Cash Only. Decent burrito. I don't know if it was an off day or what but waiting 45+ minutes for a breakfast burrito doesn't make any sense at all. By the time I got the burrito it was barely even breakfast time still. For context, 10-11am on a Saturday morning. No it wasn't unreasonably slammed either. I visited August 31st. I won't be back.

New ownership is very cool. They really cleaned up and gave the place a great cleaning. The burritos and salsa taste amazing and better than before in my opinion, the potatoes aren’t undercooked anymore. I waited 25 minutes on Saturday for my burrito but it’s expected on Saturday.

It is no longer the famous breakfast burritos they used to be for 30 years. The green salsa is no more and they use different potatoes. While the new ones taste fine and are just like any other breakfast burrito.... If you are looking for the old breakfast burritos that they have been famous for over 30 years, they are no more.

This came highly recommended but didn't live up to the hype. Two of us had sausage burritos, while one had a plain burrito. One of us had a coffee, while another had a large Diet Pepsi. The burritos were well-sized, but had a lot of potato and not much of the other fillings. I asked for mine with the salsa inside, and it made it in, but didn't contribute too much flavor. Service was slow but efficient - and only slow because of the great popularity; the cooks weren't dawdling. The atmosphere is kind of old-fashioned, in a grungy but pleasant way. I've had breakfast burritos in California before, and they were much more flavorful; I'm not sure if things were off because we were near the end of breakfast service but I feel like it wasn't worth the wait.

I'm a big fan of breakfast burritos, this one is just full of potatoes the hash browns are overpowering everything else, there's hardly any egg. Service is good they're fast and very nice. I saw a jug of Folgers so I didn't bother to order any coffee. Prices are typical. Last 4 times i went for their burrito i swore i didn't order a all potato burrito with a small lace of bacon but that was what I got those last 4 visits. Pretty hard to enjoy unless your on a all starch dry food diet. Quality has gone down. They're really bad answering their phone. They don't care what you think if you have an unsatisfied experience, and they only take cash. A measly 1.8% swipe fee is a small price to pay to create an easier POS for everyone. I've bought corn off a bike that supported card payment. Last time I enjoyed their food was years ago pre pandemic. Very sad.

The worst service ever. First of all they don’t ever pick up their phones. I finally got through ordered 19 burritos. When I got to the location, there was a huge line that was all the way to the parking for ordering. I went to the pick up section I said I’m here to pick up my order and they told me to get back in the line and wait to pay. I kindly asked the gentleman if I could pay and pick up my order because it’s been over 20 minutes already if I wait another 20 minutes to pay the food would really get cold. So I asked him a question what are you gonna do? throw it away? long story short I turn around wait in line I come to get my order he said I still have to wait for them to make six of my burritos since they have sold from my order. When I told him that this is not customer service, he told me to leave and never come back. I wasted 40 minutes at this location and went to work late without any food for my employees. Don’t recommend anyone to go there.

But the quality and flavors are well worth the wait.

Significantly smaller breakfast burritos than what they would normally make. Getting skimpy on the bacon and other meats aswell.
It’s just not the same.
I really hope the corner cottage team can revert to their old ways.
Still tastes okay but doesn’t have that same craving factor.

Food was excellent as others have described here, there did seem to be a little less meat than I would have liked, probably due to costs. If I were to return I'd definitely be ordering double meat in the breakfast burrito. Other than that it was delicious. Place smells like God's own kitchen. Relatively fast service for the big crowd they draw.

Not worth the drive or wait, nothing stands out. Hashbrown wasn't crispy, hardly any steak it was more like tiny pieces. Should have listen to my natural instinct better and gone to Curbgrill instead.
Even Primo Burritos are better than this, drive yourself to Lancaster for high quality burritos.

Price is good for what you get. But is is all down hill from there. Wait was over 45 mins and when I asked for additional salsa, he asked for 50 cents. I think I will pass next time.

This is a great spot to have breakfast if you love burrrrittoooos! It can be a long wait on the weekends, but for me it's totally worth the wait. If you're in the neighborhood stop by!
