The location is great and the staff are fantastic and very friendly, but honestly the food is not good. It used to be a decent brunch spot but so much has changed and just really made it bland.

We ordered potatoes as our side for every meal. Before, they used to season the potatoes and mix in onions and some bell peppers for flavor. Now, they are not seasoned at all… they were literally just fried potatoes, something you could easily make at home but instead costs $18+/person. I was more so disappointed at how the quality exponentially declined, as it used to not be this way, but it’s honestly unacceptable. The French toast was also really bland and had a strong egg taste, and the syrup was very watery.

Overall, unless you’re in a pinch, just go somewhere else. For the price you pay it’s really not worth the food.

I really enjoyed the service here, every single staff member- from host to servers- were very warm and friendly, checked in on us often, and just made us feel like we were a top priority for them.

The mimosa I ordered was also a treat! Super delicious. Very well made. The orange juice must be made in-house or is a top brand.

That being said, my meal itself was a letdown. The quality was just subpar. The breakfast potatoes I ordered on the side of my dish were the quality of leftover potatoes you get at the breakfast buffet at a budget hotel. They were cold, they were old, and they were not seasoned whatsoever and just tasted off.

My eggs benedict entree had a similar quality issue; it all just tasted poor, no seasoning, and the ‘crushed bacon’ topping was nothing more than an inconvenient texture on top of the dish.

Maybe it was just a one-time situation, but I ate what I could and just saved my appetite for dinner.

Adam and the crew are awesome! Mimosas are really spectacular, so is the spiked coffee drinks! You know a place is good if they can get Grits right, and this place has Grits as good as I find in the deep South in North Carolina. They are spot on with every dish. Outdoor dining on chilly mornings is a small negative but what can they do? Phenomenal all around.

Was told the owner knows the chairs are bad and customers hate them but won't change them. Even cushions for them, don't be cheap mr owner. Step up buy some new chairs so your customers aren't uncomfortable the entire service. Otherwise solid business. 6/10 would be a 10/10 if I wasn't in pain and discomfort the whole time and left with indents from the wicker plastic chairs.

Quick stop Sunday AM, prior to leaving Burbank. We pull up at 8:10am, thinking parking is going to be limited, and we would be dealing with a wait time. There was plenty of street parking up front with a 1-hour park time, and ABEC was wide open, no wait. I had the gluten-free pancakes with a cold brew, while my Son got a tall oj with french toast. Both came with bacon and (1) egg. They did not have real maple syrup, which urks me. Their menu was absolutely terrific, too. It's odd. I was also displeased with their lack of beer, let alone, no IPA's. Thankfully, they had honey, and I didn't need a beer anyway. The food and service were fantastic. The butter was cheap, but always does the trick. You can tell they had regulars. It was a nice and pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely return.

They have 2 size mimosas on the menu, I ordered the bigger size. The mimosa that arrived looked awfully small so I asked if it was the 11oz and not the 8oz. The waiter laughed so hard at me and said the menu fooled me and they only have one size. I said why do they have two listed on menu. He said he didn't know and laughed some more and brushed me off. Ruined my breakfast experience. I havent even gotten my food and if I weren't eating with 6 other family members I would leave right now. Waiter forgot we ordered ice water also so we will see if he got the orders correct. Maybe he will find a way to ridicule us if he got it wrong

We picked this restaurant for the gluten free options that other reviewers had left. The atmosphere was good and the service was good as well. However, the gluten free pancakes were unfortunately not good. They had an odd taste from the start but were nice and fluffy so I just added more syrup hoping it would help. It did not. They had a sour taste, maybe sort've reminiscent of a very sour sourdough? In any case I was worried they might have gone bad so I notified our waitress who had the kitchen make another so they could taste it. Good news is it wasn't bad, bad news is that's the way it was supposed to taste. The rest of my food (eggs and bacon) was good but if you're going for the pancakes I'd choose another restaurant. I've been gf for 10 years now and have had many gf pancakes from many places and none have tasted like these. Other than that, their food is good!

Came here for breakfast during the week. I enjoyed the variety of New Orleans styled foods available on the menu. I will be back to try some of them. I ordered french toast and my friend had some grits with shrimp. We both enjoyed our meal and we also took some beignet's home to enjoy later and share. Those were very good too with the sauce they came with. The service was very friendly and food came out quickly and hot. The cafe is decorated in nice cheerful colors which put me in a good mood and there is plenty of natural light, which I happen to enjoy in a breakfast restaurant. There is also outdoor patio seating, but we did not take advantage of that, since it was a little cold out. The pricing was a little bit high however, you can take your leftovers home here, because trust me they serve a LOT . The portion sizes are huge! (Or share a meal) Personally, I prefer when portion sizes and prices are reduced, as I do not get along well with leftovers...which tend to linger far to long in the recesses of my fridge, but that's a "ME" problem. You do as you wish and I'd still recommend this place.

I have been to this location many times in the past as it is one of my favorite breakfast places to dine at. Unfortunately, yesterday morning will be the last time my family and I go. I ordered an omlette and found a huge, thick, disgusting black hair poking right out of my omlette after already taking a few bites I completely lost my appetite. The waitor wasn't very accommodating as he just said said "sorry we will take it off do you want another one?" There was no manager to come and speak to our table and it wasn't busy. Our waiter also took way to long to deliver our check which was still $150 with the omlette taken off. As someone who worked in the restaurant business this isn't how you treat hungry customers.

We drove from Pomona to here for some early business in weekend, we just checked this place after seeing review on Yelp. We were not disappointed, I could give 6 star for their amazing and seamless services. We have been in many restaurants but this is first time we could feel again the sense of hospitality in services industry which has been forgotten somehow.
The restaurant ambiance is very cozy and warm welcomed, everything was clean and organized.
The employees from the hostess to server were very friendly with smiles that barely seen in another restaurants much.
Food was fresh made and beautifully decorated.
My smoked salmon Benedict was cold a bit, I let the staff know, they changed it right away with very nice manner. I appreciated the way they handle customer’s concern.
Our waitress kept checking our table and others to see if we need more things and if everything ok, it is very attentive and professional. They even gave us Togo coffee fresh new one to replace the one my husband is drinking almost a half.

Another thing I like this place is they do not put suggestion on Tips like many other restaurants do it today, they work so great so they do not need to suggest any tips and customer will be happy to tip them as they are deserved. Tip is for good services not to be forced.
Thank you for maintain good values of hospitality services. I will be back when I have chance to visit Burbank.

We go to this Burbank location and their service is great! Food and mimosas are excellent. They have a variety of mimosas to choose from, including the classic, blueberry lemon and a apple pie one that we tried last outing here and it was very good. Food wise I always get the chicken or Turkey sausage with goat cheese omelette with green onions as well with a side of their potatoes. It all hits. Now to the service, we love to sit at the bar, for one they have TVs there with sports on so that’s always a plus in my book, but more importantly their bar tender, John Badar, is fantastic, great at his job, great with people, conversation was great, personable, just did a tremendous job representing this spot. It’s in Burbank too which is very nice! You can sit inside or out, but highly recommend sitting at the bar. The food was amazing. The Chorizo has the perfect amount of heat. Great atmosphere. The kids loved it as well.

When I walked in, I immediately felt "This is definitely a Mimosa place"! I didn't get any since I'm the driver. Their beignets were very nice, a little thick but the moist inside made them easy to devour!

Relaxing atmosphere, pictured, I had the (Tiramisu French Toast, Eggs overhard, bacon). Be surrounded to specify if you like your bacon crunchy otherwise they default to a medium chewy, which I love.

On first bite of the French Toast, it was a very harsh flavor, definitely use the pro oded cream or syrup...it's doubtful you will need both. Keep on mind the powder is a mix of seasoning and ground Espresso bean.

Overall, great atmosphere and food was more filling than I thought! I'd definitely return!

Brunch here was absolutely delicious. The upscale spin on classic dishes had us all trading plates so we could try each other's selections. The lobster chunks were large and plentiful on 2 of the dishes we ordered! The tiramisu French toast was delightfully reminiscent of the dessert without being overwhelmingly sweet. The city grits with smoked gouda and bacon were delightful and both the regular and cold brew coffee were top notch. On top of the well curated culinary delights our service was utterly amazing! Thank you Tika for taking such good care of us every step of the way from topping off drinks to offering hot sauce selections at just the moment we wanted some. My brother loved the coffee so much that he bought one of their signature mugs to take home. Can't wait to go back!

Tried this place for the first time on a quick visit to Burbank, CA. Service was great and Atmosphere was very nice and clean. The coffee is very good! The food however wasn't up to par especially for the higher price. "Breakfast potatoes" looked nothing like other reviews pictures and were LITERALLY chopped up seasoned fries from a burger place 👎. I wish i had taken a picture! I had the chorizo cream cheese omelet. While good taste is was quite small for the price! Wife and kids had french toast which was undercooked. Alot of fancy type dishes if your into that kind of breakfast. Do not bother if your looking for traditional breakfast. Only giving 3 star due to good service and good atmosphere otherwise food remains a solid 2 star and no more.
