Happy i was introduced to this place. It's very cute! The food we shared was really good. We were very satisfied. The menu had great options. I look forward to trying more of what they offer. Service was friendly.

Love this place! If you wanna come here with a few people or family it will be great. NO wait time to be seated. Was seated right away. Food didn’t come early or late. Drinks were served after being seated. Food was great it was really good. I never finish my food at any restaurant but this one i finished it. I recommend it.

Amazing time here at BB Cafe! We arrived between 12pm-1pm for brunch. We were immediately greeted and were allowed to sit anywhere we’d like, both outside and inside. We ordered the Waugh burger that was DELICIOUS, very flavorful and tasty. We ordered matcha pancakes that were perfect! Overall great place and highly recommend

My friends and I came to have a brunch on Sunday for a little girls day and waited 30min to be seated. While we were sitting here to be waited on it took another 30minutes for someone to even ask if we wanted anything to drink. No apology was given and we ordered our drinks and food while we were at it. We all wanted to order the Margarita flights, the girl was surprised because apparently nobody in a party of 4 has ever ordered that at one time. She has to check if they were able to make them. She came back and said they could only make 3/4. We agreed and she left to put in our order. Even for our water it took 20minutes.
Food came and it looked appetizing , hence the looked. Shortly after came the flights.
They were presented nicely but the taste was not there, they were warm, and well the alcohol also.
We returned 2 of our flights after a sip and the waitress was shocked.
The owner was upset with the waitress which was uncomfortable and especially because he kept staring at us and pointing at our table.
The food was mediocre and tasteless. Oily. Burnt. Not worth the $21 each.
Then when she came to take our plates she did not ask if everything was okay, if we needed anything, NOTHING.
She took the plate from one of the girls who was still eating and again, she did not say a word. My friend was the one who said sorry for her taking the plate.
0 out of 10 would not recommend.
Not worth the drive or money.
Horrible service, not a smiling face in sight in the whole restaurant. Not even the owner who again, kept looking at us and our table.
We should have read the reviews first because then we would have chosen somewhere else to go.

Nice atmosphere, great service. A girl named Bella worked there. She served us well, gave the child toys and kept him busy the whole time. That girl deserves all the high regard because she is excellent at her job. And there are no words to say about the food. We were delighted. We will definitely come back again.

I was there last Saturday and enjoyed a great meal. This cafe is family friendly, neighborhood clean, space with an interesting menu. The food is presented in an elegant and artistic way while still being fresh and delicious and reasonably priced with good portions! The staff is friendly and attentive. It's definitely on my local to go list. I recommend the Asian salmon salad! Enjoy

First time visiting this place, and I will be back!

I came here on a Wednesday night with my girlfriend for dinner. The restaurant wasn't very busy, which is a shame since it deserves more people. But it was sprinkled with some patrons throughout.

I ordered the calamari, steak, and then had a lavender latte and cheese croissant for dessert.

The calamari was delicious! We thought their house made sauce paired really well with it. The steak was cooked to perfection. Was so juicy, tender. This steak was worth it, especially not something I was expecting from this unassuming restaurant. For dessert I got a cheese danish which wasn't bad, but I've had better. The lavender latte was recommended by our server, They were amazing! Attentive, offer recommendations. Great experience overall.

My girlfriend had lox eggs benedict and a regular latte. She said they were delicious and I believe her because she devoured those bad boys.

Overall, would recommend this place to anyone. I want to come back for breakfast 👀

Nice food at a fair price. Everything was fresh. A bit noisy, but there was live music for part of the meal. The servers were busy, so it was a relaxed but acceptable pace. About half the tables are outside dining.

The staff was really attentive. I was a bit worried about the prices, but the food portions were great, and the quality was awesome. Really loved that they made their own bread. We also got the matcha pancakes sooooooo good. And they serve with actual maple syrup! It's those little details! Would recommend, solid brunch spot. Would recommend highly.

My friends and I were lucky enough to be able to try out their brand new dinner menu and we are so glad we did. At the time of this review I think it is only the third day since its launch and I HIGHLY encourage everyone to go check it out the food was amazing! Two of us got the Ciopinno (seafood soup) and two of us got the Suprema de Pollo (breaded chicken breast stuffed with cheese and ham), Caramel Apple cheesecake and pumpkin cobbler bar for dessert. When I say I went in feeling not that hungry but CLEANED the plate I’m being so honest. I wish we had taken pictures but we immediately demolished everything. Our waiter (amazing service, great vibes, wish I remembered his name) too such great care of us. He let us know that this new menu is entirely from the mind of their head chef, who even came out personally to ask our opinions on everything (again, amazing). Very excited to come back and try the rest!!

I've been 3 times now. 2 of the 3 times, I had to wait ridiculously long times for both to-go and dining in. They straight up forgot about me while i was dining in the first time, then for my to-go order they didnt even notify me it was ready while I waited outside, so its just sitting there getting cold and im waiting there like an idiot. Thanks guys for the great service. Not coming back

Don’t come here unless you’re ready to pay 18% on a top that’s mandatory. The food was mediocre nothing special at all.

As far as the manager, I asked him if I could take off the 18% tip since the I didn’t like my service (I was still going to tip) but $20 for a tip on food for 80 bucks is ridiculous and he said it was mandatory. Anyways this place lost my business just for this simple reason. I don’t think in this economy it’s fair to make customers pay 18% on their food when taxes are already included and prices for one sandwich is 25 bucks as it is.

The place looks amazing and very nicely decorated. The service was nice and quick. We came on a Friday and there was no wait time and the food came out within ten minutes. The food presentation looked amazing.

Con:
Parking was a bit difficult to find a spot. The food was missing something about it that didn't really hit the spot. Maybe the seasoning wasn't strong enough.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I work from here when I am in the area. Mike, Maria and Lupe and the best! It feels like a family vibe, everyone is so nice, warm and helpful. The food is delicious! Their new item, the Salmon Tartar, is my fav! There is no where else I would want to dine/work/hang!

Really the worst service I have ever seen. The staff is lazy and the owner is too cheap to hire competent staff. Waited 20 minutes to have my name taken just to get a table. While the hostess walked by and ignored us. The food is expensive for the poor service you receive. Found hair in my food the last time I visited. Not going back!!!!

Friends and I are weekly visitors here. Great atmosphere and food every time. Service is always excellent. Want to especially point out Sophie and Maria for their friendly and welcoming service every time. No matter how busy they are the food is always brought out quickly and the service is always excellent.

My Little Family went to a late lunch.We were between my Son’s first Musical in a local theater. We had read good things and a few bad things ,so we tried BB cFe to give our two cents. Holy Smokes we Loved it. The food was out of this World,I told the Wife ,”they have a real Chef back there “. But the best part of all was the Service. They didn’t have any kids menus printed they had just given out the last one the manager went in the office printed out double sided kid menu before we even got to the second page of the menu that was cool. But the server name Paige, She in 45 minutes restored My Faith in the hope that We Are going to alright,We will Love each other no matter how someone is trying to Back Us up as a Union. Paige related instantly with My Son ,being Young inspiring actor and it being his first on stage Musical , Paige gave Him a hot wheel and a Mini stuffed Frog ,then She said” Here is a little frog to commemorate your first day and your first musical always remember ROG reminds us forever rely on God” my mind was Blown wide open that there is Hope. She couldn’t have known that My little family has just in the last 6 months started teaching Our Son religion and what My faith means and what Mo
Ma’s faith is and that’s the Beauty of America are founding fathers, and many brave men and women gave their life so we could choose which faith we want to be what political party we want to be in. I went way off track just saying that girl page and her manager and their chef made my day and made my heart shine to the point where my eyes leaked a little bit. And the food was amazing.

If I didn't live 22 miles away, I would probably come here several times a week. Everything on the menu is perfect, delicious, generous, and consistently satisfying from the presentation to enjoying every single bite. My favorite is the octopus on the appetizer menu... the best!!

The prices are a bit high, but the meals generally come with a lot of food. I ordered their new house breakfast with turkey sausage, two sunny-side up eggs, and their homemade bread that is like a garlic-flavored flat bread. It tasted just fine. Also, the servers were attentive, immediately sat me down, and were quick to bring the bill out when I finished. There is plenty of comfortable seating both inside and outside of the establishment as well.

The food was good, the service as well. They brought crayons, etc, for the kids, as well as balloons, which was highly appreciated.

Went for breakfast, and they had a troubadour in the morning, which personally I don't appreciate for breakfast.

Their breakfast burrito was delicious, I can definitely recommend it.

Have heard good things, and then the reviews made us try it. It's an odd spot, to say the least.

6 large tv's with 4 playing nature shows, one stuck on a station asking it it was still being watched, and one playing Two and a Half Men. Huh?

They had a live accordian player who had recorded music playing under his live playing. It was extremely loud. He was good, but it was so odd and out of place.

We got a philly cheese steak and a Waygu Burger with sides of clam chowder. Soup was decent, and sandwiches were nothing special.

Bright spot was server, Audrey, who was awesome. So nice, and handling the entire floor herself. Two 4 tops, three 2 tops, and one 10 top. She had to do mixed cocktails and coffee drinks, had to bus tables, and serve all. She was awesome.

Honestly, we won't go back and I can't recommend it.

5/5 they got little car for my 2 boys which occupied them while I was eating. The waitress wasn't standing next to me waiting for me to pay. Somebody came and adjust the temperature for us when it started to be a little chilling. The food was good for the price. Did I mention they have happy hour? I will definitely go back next week. 😁😁

Came here with the kids for breakfast. Fantastic crepes, good coffee. Egg breakfast was pretty standard but no complaints, and the breakfast potatoes are quite nice.

My server was nice but only came to my table to take my order than to leave my bill, I had to ask another server during my meal if they serve refills on coffee, which she said yes and came back to refill my coffee, other than that the place is a nice, clean and nicely decorated, I will probably not eat on the premises but possibly order to go....

Literally the worst experience in Los Angeles, in years. We've been waiting for 30+ minutes to place our order, while the waiters have been serving other parties who came in later than us. Didn't get to taste anything other than coffee which wasn't served hot as well.

This place is amazing! Ambiance is great, relaxing, and inviting! Lupe has taken care of my mom and I several times now and always greets us with a smile and ready for our coffee orders. Let me tell you, the cappuccino is delish! Better than Starbucks for sure. Food portions are great and the steak n eggs cooked to perfection! Thanks Lupe! Entered at the same time as another guy and he was served his drinks immediately. I waited 10 minutes for someone to being my drink. One waitress just stood staring at the customer's and the other was busy helping customers. There are only 5 tables with people at them. I should not have to wait that long for just water when you are standing there doing nothing. I left. Won't be back.

This steak was worth it, especially not something I was expecting from this unassuming restaurant. For dessert I got a cheese danish which wasn't bad, but I've had better. The lavender latte was recommended by our server, They were amazing! Attentive, offer recommendations. Great experience overall.

My girlfriend had lox eggs benedict and a regular latte. She said they were delicious and I believe her because she devoured those bad boys.

Overall, would recommend this place to anyone. I want to come back for breakfast 👀

Perfect lunch sitting outside.
Got the Tuna Avacado sandwich and the Chicken Schnitzel sandwich with sweet potatoe fries and Potatoe Garbonzo Bean Vegi Soup, with Watermelon Lemonade to wash it all down.
DELICIOUS!

My friends and I visited BB cafe yesterday and i was very satisfied with the overall experience. Everything from the service, the food, and atmosphere was amazing. One of the best cafes to have a very relaxing and enjoyable time and i will definitely be visiting again.

First time here and ordered a lavender latte with oat milk and eggs benedict. The food was flavorful and prepared timely. The outdoor patio has heaters so it was nice and cozy.

Very special place. Menu has a wide variety and definitely a chef's delight. We went for breakfast and food was delicious. Coffee was great and they offer latte and Expresso. Very relaxing and great service.

March 2023 Update: Great Lunch spot. Food was delicious, the grilled cheese and tomato soup may be the best I ever had. The service this time was far and away better than their opening weekend. Our waitress made great recommendations and my lemonade was never empty for longer than a minute.

Original Opening Weekend Review: Delicious Potential. Went for breakfast their opening weekend and the food was great. The Belgian waffles were maybe the best I've had. The breakfast burrito was above average, a little too much avocado and not enough bacon for me to place it on par with Corner Cottage or Larry's Chilli Dog but still good. The ham and cheese panini and fried chicken sandwich were also good.

Our server was nice, but it took a long time (~45 mins) to get our food and they were not super fast with the coffee/water refills, but I will chalk that up to it being the first weekend opening. The only other downer was the price left a lot to be desired. When compared with Burbank staples like Coral Cafe or Cafe De Olla, this is priced at a premium I'm not sure it deserves. I will miss the old CA Eatery but this has me optimistic and I will definitely be back and will hopefully be able to update my review to 5 stars.

Stumbled upon this place while working in Pasadena for a convention. The reviews were promising and they had no wait at 10am so we reserved a spot. Had the waffles combo which came with eggs, potatoes and bacon. Everything was fresh and delicious. I will definitely return if ever in the area and I do recommend it to anybody seeking a satisfying meal for a reasonable price.

Grand Opening weekend.
Food was very good, and presented well.

Chai latte was very good.
Pancakes were very good.

They seated the 2 of us right away.
Other people had to wait up to 45 minutes.

Overall food is good but expect to wait to eat at least as they get dialed in.

Location is not the best, alot of criminal activity happens here. Food is good and clean environment. Food is pricey for the amount, but I guess every new business is on the gouging bus these days.

The place has nice decor succulents (false) and clean aesthetic. Food was almost at 5 stars some of the sauces were bitter but perhaps it was just the whole experience. Price are ok same as the restaurants around. Parking is decent a bit limited since they share but you still may find a spot or right around the block plenty. The hostess was nice a bit shy but she was hosting and helping take plates back. Nothing bad team work but noticed that detail some people were annoyed at arrival since no one was there. I was ok I understand it's still starting out. The waitress and I do mean this with no disrespect was bad at checking her tables. We asked for a bit of time since they do have options she did get our drinks but that was the only time we had drinks. At $3-4 a glass I expected Atleast to be asked if I wanted a refill. Food arrived hot tasted great but after the plate hit the table I never saw the waitress. I had to get up pay at the counter since no one bothered to come over no problem. Even then I had to ask for take away trays portions are generous on my opinion. I still tip don't get me wrong but even the other staff didn't bother to stop by and check. It made the first visit a bit disappointing.

Great! We stopped in for a to-go order for a late lunch. It is the whole menu all day. We ordered seemingly one of everything but the giant pancakes and combo were a highlight! Staff is ver friendly and hepful and let us wait on the patio with waters. The parking lot was big and easy to park my minivan.

Beautiful aesthetic but that’s about all I can say. We got there for our reservation and staff seemed very confused about who’s doing what. Took 20 min to get our drinks, thankfully food came quite quickly. Asked for a refill of coffee that staff promptly forgot about. Staff regularly ignored our side of the restaurant. Paid the bill and left. I really wanted to like this place but with how bad service was I would rather just go somewhere else.

Came here for valentines. Did not really know what to expect, but was surprised at how amazing the food was. Really warm staff and the restaurant was clean and modern.

Recommend the Avocado rolls. Steak was also very yummy.

Inside and outside dining, best Belgian waffles in the city, friendly staff, good food, great atmosphere, their chicken schnitzel sandwich is delicious. Dined there for breakfast and lunch. Quickly became one of our most favorite restaurants in Burbank.

Finally visited for lunch after hearing about it from friends, and we will be back! Friendly service (my little one got a balloon which was a nice touch), nice ambiance, food was yummy & fresh. The only thing missing is a kids menu, but our 3yo very much enjoyed the fluffy pancakes and fruit. Lavender latte was fun and tasty too.

Had a wonderful experience today. We were early for our flight back to Idaho from Burbank Airport and found BB Cafe. We gave it a try for breakfast. We were not disappointed. The hostess welcomed us and explained the menu. Karen, our server, had a friendly smile and was attentive and efficient. The 3 meat omelets and breakfast potatoes were delicious and very generous. The Florentine Benedict was also very good. And the lattes were way better than most-a real treat. Thank you for such a nice meal. If we ever come back to visit and get hungry we'll remember BB Cafe.

Service is the saving grace here; quick and kind. Food is meh. You can tell the ingredients are good and it's cooked well, but there is absolutely no flavor. Got the burger and it was juicy but flavorless despite that, and the fries are bland. Companion got the tuna salad sandwich and also reported a lack of flavor.

I have been to BB Cafe a number of times on my own since it opened and had food to BRAG about! But the FIRST time I introduce BB to a friend, the experience was quite disappointing. Maybe it was because we went late in the day and I usually go in the morning... The service was fine and the atmosphere, lovely albeit breezy. But the food was quite the disappointment. Half booked hash browns and the dish I normally order was unrecognizable, tasteless and flat. I will go again because everyone has an off day. But I won't be back for awhile.

Went out to lunch with a friend and she suggested BB’s cafe. We were thrilled it was open. It’s a beautiful, warm, inviting space with friendly staff. The food is delicious and I can’t want to come back with my husband and kids. I highly recommend the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

I have been waiting for this spot to open for a while now so when I drove by and saw the open sign I had to stop. So glad that I did. The location is very warm and welcoming, as is the staff. Having been here when it was the previous restaurant I can honestly say that the improvements they have made were spot on and well thought through.

There is ample seating both inside and out. The chairs were comfortable as was the environment overall. The inside provides both table as well as booth seating. Outside there are plenty of tables that are all covered so you can sit outside even on a rainy day. The outside seating also has ample overhead heating so a cold day is not a problem either.

As to the menu. There is something for everyone. I have been here twice now and tried both a breakfast item as well as lunch. I was not disappointed with either. The savory crepes were flavorful and presentation was spot on. I also tried the vegan breakfast sandwich and was super happy with it. The bread was soft and the sandwich itself was simple but yet flavorful. The salmon tartine was also a treat for me. The salmon was fresh and had great texture and flavor to it and the mix was equally as tasty.

As far as the coffee is concerned. It was amazing. Again presentation was great and the coffee flavor was wonderful as well.

Prices are more than fair and affordable on pretty much any budget.

All in all I would have to say that this is a must try if you are in the area.

Atmosphere is quite an improvement from what this was before. Went for breakfast (much smaller menu than California eatery) and the service was a bit slow and the food was a little lukewarm but tasted pretty good. I’ll come back for lunch.

Was super excited for this to open! We live super close, and we’re excited about having a breakfast place so close! Stopped in and got the breakfast burrito and a lavender latte, tasty food and drink. Give it a try! Wonderful addition to our Burbank community.
