I stopped by this Corner Bakery in Burbank this morning because my wife was craving their chicken pomodori sandwich. I was already in the area getting my breakfast burrito nearby so it just worked out for me to get my wife her sandwich. I placed my order online through their website for pickup. I did it right when they open because it will not let you order ahead of time. I got my wife her chicken pomodori and got the ceasar salad as her side. It said the pickup time would be in 15 minutes so it worked out. When you get to the place the entrance is on San Fernando because the small street entrance is for exiting only. I found parking easily since I think I was their first customer of the day. They have outdoor seating here if you want to sit outside. When I walked inside, it's very quiet and seem kind of a traditional setup. There was only 1 person working and I told her that I was here for a mobile order pickup. She was very polite with me and checked that my order was all there in the bag. I took it home for my wife to eat her food and she loved it.

Very unethical customer service skills. I saw their sign that they had an espresso shot for two dollars and 69 cents and adding an extra shot for a dollar 09. So I told her that I wanted a double. They told me it was five dollars and 38 cents. I said no look at the sign your sign says an extra shot is only a dollar nine. The Young cashier said "well our sign is wrong" . Well I said well you should at least honor it. She did not answer. I was so disappointed. Especially where they seem to be a supervisor next to her over here in the conversation and didn't even turn around to address the issue. Businesses are about first impression. That was my first time ever ordering there. And it was not a good first impression. I will never go there again. For business ethics. Is so frustrating and aggravating. And yes it is just a few bucks difference, but it's not even about that. It's about integrity. Which obviously show they lacked. Here's a clear picture below of their pricing. And she wouldn't even honor it. Brutal! This happened on Wednesday August 14th around 8:20 a.m. I ended up canceling the order and she acted like she didn't even care

This place was not what I expected. In reviewing the information on their website, there wasn’t anything to indicate that it was not a standard waitress served dining place.

Be that as it may, I decided to give it a try anyway. Actually, the concept is not a bad one, and in fact, serves the public interest. Why, you might ask?

When it comes down to it, having a dining location with waitresses serving you winds up, costing you more money!

So, not only because you save on the tip, but also the company saves on employee expenses, including but not limited to employee taxes, liability, insurance, etc.

Also, this particular franchise is passing on their savings to the consumers by charging lower prices. Sounds good to me.

So you walk in, look at the menu on the wall behind the counter. Make your selection, place your order, pay the bill, and when it’s ready, a little puck sounding device will sound off and then you go fetch your food. Not a problem.

Visited here with my boyfriend on a Saturday during COVID for breakfast. They do patio dining as well as takeout or delivery. They have plenty of parking right next to the cafe. The place was clean and you could see hand sanitizer wherever you turn your head to lol. Customer service was really good, it was our first time so they didn’t rush us and actually helped us picking items. Food was really good as well. We ordered Chicken Pomodori Panini and Cheddar Broccoli Soup. With bottled orange juices (since they didn’t have freshly squeezed) and a coke. And they gave you complimentary chips on the side. The panini’s were really good, not too heavy nor too light. One of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely will be back. Thank you.

We order the chicken carbonara and we were disappointed. This meal was lacking flavor and it was too dry for our likes. I used to order from this place over 7yrs ago and the food was a lot better.

It's a good place with good food, but each time we're here (once or twice a year) There is always something missing or wrong from our order. It usually gets resolved, but it is a consistent issue.

Hii everyone it was my first and last time was there. I always wanted to try them because bakery looks so cute and pretty from outside but i didn't know that they have one really rude lady in there seems to me she's either manager or owner anyways whatever she is. I was with my furry baby he is very friendly English cream retriever. He was thinking we are in starbucks try to ask for puppuccino he barks just one or two time actually he asked she start b...g no dog on the counter even he was not there she didn't come in front otherwise i would love to put her on her spot and them food was also same as her very bad. Who girl was serving me she was very nice and polite.
Just consider that they are not pet friendly people

I ordered the cheddar bacon and egg painini, and it is really good. They have a lot of delicious fresh pastries and desserts. The food was made fresh and quickly. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly.

They screwed up on togo orders. 2 x in a row, but when I told the mgr on duty he fixed it. So all's good. I get mistakes happe, but as long as you fix it, that's all I care about. Besides, their tuna is really good.

Great place to get a sandwich with soup. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, pretty good food, order at the counter, cheaper than one might expect for a restaurant in/near downtown Burbank. Plenty of outdoor seating if you like, though near a fairly busy intersection to take that with what you will

My lunch was delicious as usual, but the kindness and nice attitude from Sam really made my day. She asked me questions and was very interactive and I will definitely be coming more often for lunch. Her customer service was the icing on the cake.

I love luke warm hospital food, a dirty table, and a rude cashier.. their baked goods are the only thing keeping this place alive! And if you're going to serve room temp soup, at least fill the bowls up... why half full? This place needs an overhaul, get with it corporate!

Arrived at 7:15 Saturday morning. Ordered 2 wraps, a sandwich and a toasted bagel. There were only 2 other people in the store but our order took 35 min!
The girl at the register tried to help, and grabbed the bagels to toast herself. I had to point out to her that she was touching money and now just touched the bagels. She apologized and started over, with gloves. The manager came out to “help” and gave half of our food to the wrong customer! So he chased after them to grab the bag before they left. Then came in and opened all the foil to figure out what everything was. It was a mess! I will not return. I gave it 2 stars because my daughter liked her sandwich and the bagel was good. But the wait and chaos was not worth it!

Employees are not friendly. Not approachable. Employees seem like you're bothering them, and wished you would not have come in! Food was not as good as other Corner Bakeries I've been to. I will not be going there again.

I love the sandwiches from Corner Bakery! I got a chicken pomodori and it was delicious! I'm just sad that they don't sell chilli anymore. I tried the loaded potato soup instead and that was really good. I also ordered a pumpkin muffin and that was really good, soft and heavenly.

Pasta, salad or sandwiches + unlimited refills on coffee, whats not to love? Oh did i mention the breakfast options? Last time i came here, i felt bad to give them an honest review as it wouldve been bad, and i really like this place. Today im glad to post updated review. Staff are friendly and fast workers. Good customer service. And they seem friendly towards each other which in my book means happy workers = good dining experience. The food was great. Place is clean. What more do u want? Come through.

I love the environment! It's a great place to get a morning coffee before work or just hang out. The people (customers and employees) were very welcoming. My order usually is ready really fast.

Good food. Chopped salad was good and I like the ability to customize. Cold brew was only okay. I have had the sandwiches and they are good and you can order two halves of different sandwiches.

Very Friendly and clean place to come with the family. We enjoy coming for breakfast and not to mention the grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup is so delicious. Will continue to come and highly recommended. The employees make you feel like at home great team. Keep up the good work.

Smaller portions little higher price. Restaurant not well kept which was surprising, they used to be clean. Didn't get chips with sandwich. Coffee was not hot.

It’s been a while since our last visit, but used to love dining at Burbank Corner Bakery. Came in today to have breakfast, and left feeling ripped off. Food was served in to go containers. Panini was ok, but didn’t live up to its price. Ordered bowl of chicken noodle soup, and mainly got broth. I was told that serving was half broth and noodles, but got a lot less noodles (See photo of left over broth). Server gave extra noodles on cup, but not enough. Service not the best. Felt I should feel sorry for asking. Cookie was hard and tasted like days old. Coffee — no complaints. Probably not coming back again.

Been going to Corner Bakery for years and the quality and service has gone downhill in the past few months. Today will be our last visit. We dined in and we’re given our food in to go containers and wrapped in foil. Inside was a mess with tables full of used food trays, self serve coffee were all empty. Very sad to see this location fall so hard. Maybe under new management?

I've ALWAYS enjoyed the food 😋 and coffee ☕ at Corner Bakery in Burbank! For hearty breakfast try the pancakes 🥞 bacon 🥓 and eggs 🍳 OUTSTANDING! Also they have a House Made Sugar-Free syrup that is one of the BEST u'll EVER taste! AND if u get on their email list they periodically send out coupons for BOGO or Buy 1, get 1 half off! Terrific Iced Tea too? If it on the Westside of DTB there's no reason NOT to go! 👍🏼

Horrible service. They forgot my fruit medley for the 3 visit in a row. The eggs were burned. The cookies are half the size they used to be. The franchise stopped serving pickles with there sandwiches, and quit making lemonade,
No hot sauce available. This was my last chance for corner bakery. I will not eat here again.

One of the order was wrong, so when I went to tell the girl at the counter she said she'll be at our table (don't know why). Come to the table to ask me what's wrong. I said to her his entire breakfast is wrong; she said are you sure and says it might be an extra charge. At this point I was done with my food and he had to his togo.

Terrible the piece of cake like hard hard 3 days old looked like, eggs with no salt at all. Pancakes tastes so oily like very bad donuts finally the restroom with no toilet paper. The guy at the from didn't get any of our orders right but he was a sweetheart ❤

Good meal. They are a reliable source of a quick meal. Salads, sandwiches, soups. Reasonable prices. I like the "choose two" option - mix and match 1/2 size servings (and those servings are plenty big enough for me!).

Their lunch is great, I especially like getting their pastas. However, the one time I went for breakfast was slightly disappointing as the eggs were bland & without potatoes it wouldn't have been very filling or worth the money at all. But the iced mocha was delicious & chocolatey!

Currently, the best coffeeshop in Burbank.
The food is very well prepared, and the pasta is so good ; it brings back memories of small tratorIa in Naples. T he paninis are grilled to perfection , but my highlite was the tomato pesto basil soup the perfect soup for all seasons. A most rewarding eatery no matter whattime of day!
