As wild as this sounds, this was my first time here. I got the pastrami and it was absolutely phenomenal. My wife got the bacon burger and the burger was perfection. I cant believe it took me this long to finally eat here. Total hollywood staple !

Bobs Big Boy food is still great. Its so sad they had to close down most of the franchise and a few are still around to have that great experience again. Whenever in the area, I will stop and have the original burger . I hope they remain open for years to come or open more chains to compete with In & Out.

Nobody at the host stand when you walk in. They call you to a table from a loudspeaker, which is kind of confusing. 5 dollars each fountain soda is INSANE. Our service from our waitress Vanessa was extremely sub par. She came off very snarky. Food was extremely average and wasn t worth the $90 price tag for a small family. Cashier when paying was very friendly though.

Highly recommended tourist stop! Parking: There are plenty of spaces in the parking lot and a few even under the original drive-up service area. At this time the drive-up/drive-in service isn t available but the spaces are available for parking. Kid-friendliness: Fun and inviting for families. Wheelchair accessibility: Completely accessible.

The first time Ive ever had the worst Bobs Original hamburger meal! The patty was shaped oblong and flavorless! The fries were dry! Not to mention the 2 customers who were so ridiculous having their own personal photo shoot at the bar. The girl was barefoot, filthy, dirty, shoeless feet, mini dress on and sitting on the bar, holding a sundae slurping it up like a porn shoot! Pathetic!

What a bummer. Used to come here often long ago and was looking forward to eating the Bobs classic. Probably the worst burger Ive had in a long time. Bread felt old and the patty was dry. Only good thing was the relish. I enjoyed my chocolate malt and salad and the service was great. Its sad though when you spend $66 for 3 people to leave unsatisfied.

Classic place. Great car show on Friday evenings. Food is good, typical diner food. Last week the service was the worst; ignored for the first 15 mins and the server (named Snowflake, or something like that) just did not get the concept of refilling my miniature coffee up. Had to go to the coffee station myself. Honestly the place just annoyed me and I won t go back unless there s some particular reason, like it s 2am.

The location is clean and staff were very nice and professional. Nancy was a great server. The food was hot and fresh. The salad with blue cheese and croutons and no tomatoes was crispy and fresh with chunks of blue cheese. The burger with thousand islands dressing was super tasty and takes me back to being a kid and going to Bobs. The fries and onion rings were hot, fresh and crispy. We got the hot fudge cake for dessert the hot fudge was hot and rich with plenty drippings down the fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. This one a very popular location where they have filmed movies and actors come here. Apparently the Beatles sat in the booth we did in 1965. They have lots of merchandise with Bobs Big Boy on it. The bathroom was small and clean. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking and a lot of choices on the menu with ok pricing. Ten out of ten recommend. Parking: They have plenty of parking on the side, the front and on the street. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options for kids Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access the location no stairs or ramps because everything is totally flat

Fantastic old burger mainstay, the original double decker burger was created here and it shows. The staff is fast and friendly. The food is excellent and good for the price. For the price of a meal at a fast food restaurant you can get a much better meal at Bobs Big Boy. I have been here many times over the years but I just returned for the first time since covid and it has not changed at all except the Electronic ordering system the staff uses was just upgraded. The food is still amazing and a good value for a classic diner. They support the community and have been here for decades. You cant go wrong with the big boy combo, classic double decker burger is fantastic, crispy fries and the side salad is decent as they make a great line of dressings. If you are really hungry you can get the larger burger. If you have room for it they have great shakes too. If you havent been here before just go, it is a classic for a reason.

Classic diner, food was solid, met our expectations. Service - had a large group of 9 and wasn t able to seat because one of our party wasn t there yet, when we did seat - we got drinks and food ordered pretty quickly but had to work to get our servers attention every time for things like drink refills or add-on orders. Check - I saw gratuity was included, which I expected because of the size of our group, but it wasn t represented by a percent, the staff didn t seem to understand my question of what percent is already added on? and just repeated that it was a service charge . I just did the math myself and added a bit to hit 20% because we *were* a demanding group.

2024.09-06/FRI_1800: We decided to visit Bobs Big Boy before the car show started and figured out wouldnt be too busy - we were wrong! This was the first time we showed up at a busy time. It was still busy but a party of two is never a long wait. We sat down in ten minutes. It was great. Had we known our favorite server, Janelle was working, we wouldve requested her section! We always see her early in the morning on Saturdays and Sundays. We had no idea she worked nights! Sorry, Janelle! We definitely had a great time still because the ambiance there is like your hometown diner! Janelle saw us and greeted us. We love her! Today we had something out of the ordinary - their Fried Fish and Shrimp dinner. We also started with the Chicken Strips appetizer, too. Holy moly. Their Chicken Strips were super duper tender. The breading was DELICIOUS, too. They send them with ranch and a little 2 oz. souffle cup of their BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce was tasty! I just loved the smell of the Chicken Fingers when they arrived! I cant explain it. My Fish and Shrimp dinner was also scrumpdiliumcious! The breading wasnt excessive and just hot and tender. Im not sure how they make the breading but it was perfect! Instead of fries, I got mashed potatoes and fruit. Even better, my dinner came with a salad, too. Talk about some delicious food. We were trying to save room for dessert but of course, we didnt make it so when we left, we got our since of Strawberry Pie to go! You know how much we love their Strawberry Pie - we bought four of them for my birthday! Just to let you know, their Strawberry Pie can feed a lot of people! When is in season, I suggest you buy a pie because you cant get that homemade pie anywhere else in the city. Believe me when I say that!
